Well, some of you remember me asking what to do as a Cleric of Athena who knew he was going to be fighting two Evil wizards at once. Some asked for me to post what happend, and the shit hit the fan a few nights ago. Here's what happened.

The evil King, once son of a great and good king, sent us out on a mission. Apparently, before Good King died, he told a mother and father seeking help that he could help their little 'cursed' girl. This girl, in Game terms, could cast the "wish" spell at will with no side-effects. The thing was, she kept bringing her nightmares and stuff to life as well, though she didn't know how/or why. Thus the curse.

My group got there, figured out what was going on, and shorty after decided that there was no way in hell the Evil King was getting his hands on this girl. So, a plot was formed. At dawn, I cast Word of Recall with the destination of a faraway temple. I gave the girl to the capable hands of a good Princess, making sure that she'd help her control her powers, and then making a promise to the little girl to bring her mother and father there as soon as I could. I left the next day with a Word of Recall, meeting up with my group at the Evil Kings castle. He was angered at our treason, but forgave us, and offered us food and shelter for the night. The food, of course, was heavily poisoned. A simple Detect Poison on my behalf todl us so, and a fight sprung from that. We won, but it was close, and defeated the evil bastard. The two chose this time to spring their attacks on me. Black Tenticals and an Orb of Cold hit me at the same time, because I had used a good number of spells, my HP was half, and all of our allies were out cold.
    >> Anonymous 12/17/07(Mon)01:34 No.908505
Thanks to my newly aquired Saint template the cold washed over me with no effect. Thanks for 4chan, the Tenticals were useless, due to my Persistant Freedom of Movement. They were on opposite side of me, so my first move was to Stone Shape a wall between myself and the Necromancer. Next round, another cold spell that had no effect. I asked for his surrender, but he spat at me. So I bashed his face in with my mace. I critted, and due to a failed Massave Damage save, he went out like a light (Not sure if many people do this. But the damage over your Con is considered massive damage (non-magical only), You make a Fort save Vs. Damage Taken - Con Score. He failed, and went unconcious)

The next bit was the Necromancer. I stoneshaped the wall down, and asked him to surrender. He didn't. I spontansously cast Hammer of Rightousness (BoED) and took him down to -5 HP. I went to heal him, but due to a Tomb Tainted Soul that my character had no idea about, he got pushed right on to dead. My character shrugged, and went over to the other, unconcious and bashed character. He took all his spell components, spell book, magical items, and bound his hands behind him. I cast (I forget the name of the spell. Also from BoED, allows you to ask hd/3 questions) and asked him the following.

1: What evil deeds have you done since you first got to this island.
He told me of some killing, etc
2: Do you feel bad for any of these deeds?
3: Do you believe yourself redeemable in the eyes of Athena.
No, and Athena was a whore.

So, I took out my shortspear and put it through his neck, saying that he had been tried in the divine light of Athena for his crimes, and plead guilty.

Shorty after I found out they had killed the little girls Mother and Father in an attempt to find her location. They apparently hid the bodies well, because I couldn't find them to raise. I put both of the bodies in a fire, and sold their items (Except for my nice, new crown of +6 Int)

So, there you go 4chan. If you remember, thanks for all your help. It went great for me, not so great for them!

I think your DM has been watching a bit too much Haruhi Suzumiya.
    Completely badass though. Well played!

Well played, Anon. In-character, well thought out, and viscerally satisfying. Be proud of yourself.

Incidentally, what did the players say?

If you were playing with my group they would have just called you an overly-righteous fag.

But I disagree, well done, that is badass.

    Badass cleric is badass.
    >> That Damn Mouse 12/17/07(Mon)02:09 No.908573
The best part is the fact that, even after they tried to back-stab your ass, you still offered them a chance to surrender and repent.

Thank you for posting this. Your thread was up long enough for quite a few anons on /tg/ to remember, and this conclusion is something I never expected to honestly see-- much less one this great. Very nice.

Anyone got a copy of the first thread? OP, did you save it?
    >> Anonymous 12/17/07(Mon)03:36 No.908680
Haha this makes me want to kill off my pew-pew flying warlock and roll a cleric, well-played. Fucking wizards!
    >> Anonymous 12/17/07(Mon)04:01 No.908706
    OP here,

No, sadly I did not save the first thread. I took extensive notes on Spells to have ready, and certain things I wanted to run by my GM (Getting that scroll of AMF, for one, but never had the chance to run it by him).

One player, the Cold Wizards, was pretty pissed because of my immunity to cold. It made him very, very worthless in the fight. He pouted for a bit, at which point my GM called him a little whiny bitch. We all laughed, and he finally snapped out of it. The neceromancer talked about how awesome it was, and that it was one of the best PC Deaths he's ever had.

I think they expected me to go down a little easier, and I expected them to put up more of a fight.

Also, not sure why I had to break down my posts like that. I guess I've never posted something that long. Sorry for the spam. I'll be sure to keep you Guys and Gals (If there are any) updated on any badassery that happens.

Be careful. If they are the dickish kind, they may be tempted to poison your water.
    >> Anonymous 12/17/07(Mon)11:43 No.909422
Well, the point is you did good, man. Nice to hear that at least one of them took it with the proper attitude...and the other got called a whiny bitch for BEING a whiny bitch.
