So guys, I tried out Ovens and Orders for the first time, I rolled up a Whole Wheat Italian, the other guys were a multi-comdiment Ketchup/Relish Polish Dog, A straight Cream Cheese bagel, and this faggot who made a a Shushi roll(fucking Tome of Weeaboo Cookan Magics)

It ran well untill we hit the boss, it was this fucking HUGE Cheeseburger with fuckign EVERYTHING on it, the Polish dog was able to keep it distracted long enough for the Shushi roll to stick some Wasabi into it and make it burn from the inside out.

Anyone else think O&O looks like a great game

you guys should have used more flexible dishes, combined with some good condiments that both boost you up and make you more appetizing. I mean, a peanut-butter ANYTHING can be awesome and go for a long time.

Gameplay seems to be a bit bogged with balance issues though, everyone wants to play meats.

I tried it out with my group last week, it was pretty good. I decided to roll up a salad, with the starting feat, "Tossed". I thought it was a fun experience but I think it focuses a little too much on the rules for me to play again, maybe a d100 system would work better.

Okay. Basically, you know how if you add water to an MRE it heats up? Well, if you take the heating agent, stick it in a water bottle, put some tabasco sauce (and pepper) into the bottle, fill it with some water, and seal it, the heating agent evaporates the water and tabasc sauce and makes a tear gas bomb.

They're incredibly awesome. Although I did not build one myself, my roommate did, and I can attest to its effectiveness.

    >>2505621

That's because your first char was a dang salad. Too many options and modifiers. Start with a sandwich or something like that.

Actually, try a corndog. It seems a little wonky, but it's a lot of fun. And you get a bonus Indigestible Component.

Salads are an advanced class, tho. If you build them correctly, you can utilize your "tossed" feat to hurl parts of you across the battlefield.

If you take levels in the Tosser PrC, you can, as a free action, place yourself among wherever your salad pieces are located once per round.

    It's pretty good.

As for me, personally, Italian Herbs3/Wheat1/Multigrain4 is by far, my favorite build.

That was +3 in the Errata. i had the same mistake. See above. The Game-makers (Wizards of the Kitchen) really overpowered a few classes, but they fixed it later on.

Probably the only thing i could suggest not rolling would be Cake. It has the Happy Delicious feat, but it just seems creepy when my 30 year old overweight PC plays them all the time, showing up at kids birthday parties. Plus, cake is pretty anti-social to other classes.

Is the Third Slice worth having at the cost of Dairy? I don't want to drop the Third Slice, as my Lastability is through the roof despite being burnt, but everyone is telling me to take at least one Cheese Slice and cash in on the Melt bonus. Should I ditch the Whole Egg Mayo to take this?

I rolled up LOTSA SPAGHETTI, and have equipped tomato sauce, as well as meatballs and grated parmesan cheese. As far as feats, I have taken "Al Dente" and "Spicy Meatball". I do quite well thanks to my freind's Garlic Bread Loaf (Thank goodness he took "Internal Buttering" at level 4!) in combat. The other party members are a bowl of Clam Chowder Soup (New England style, hoping to make the "Lobster Bisque" PrC) and a bowl of Orange Sherbet, who is progressing towards the "Rainbow Sherbet" PrC. Things work out well, as long as we get things done quickly, or the sherbet starts taking Melting penalties.

Oh god, I have such nightmare stories about this game.

This one powergaming douche once came to a session with--and I shit you not--A Pizza 3/Thin Crust 1/Deep Dish 1/Cookstone Delicacy 3/Meat Supreme 2/Veggie Special 1/Pepperoni Sentinel 3.
Threw his ass out of the game.
And yes, I know about the thin crust/deep dish thing. Asshole found some loophole.

I'm totally new on the whole tabletop thing, do you think I could handle an apple pie? Or a toffee pudding?

Ah, that reminds me why I hate subs. Free multi-classing makes for some of the most godawful combinations, especially since they access so many PrC's.

Submarine Sandwich 4/ Veggie Special 2/ Beef 2/ Turkey 1/ Mayo 2/ Honey Mustard 1 was possibly the most broken thing I have ever seen. I have houseruled that the Veggi Special PrC outlaws any Meat classes, since they just break everything when you have the right meats with the Veggie Special.

Avoid the toffee pudding. Its really underpowered.

Apple pie is a fine choice, although, subs are a good choice if you want to be able to experience just about everything. They can get almost any ability in the game.

I like them. Solid classes you can get a start with, but a lot of abuse comes from them, so you might have some insults thrown your way.

Fuck you, you stupid gamist. Rolls are totally abstract; they don't even bother to TRY to simulate the rising OR the fucking kneading.

At least the fucking buns require yeast. Have fun with your World of Rollcraft.

I'm sick of this "weeaboo cookan magics" bullshit. There's a lot of good stuff in there, and hardly any of it eastern unless we're talking "east of Munich". I've been rolling Pierogi for almost a year now, and it's finally given me the versatility of sandwich in a hot meal (paying for Hand-Shaped AND Pan-Fried is pretty devastating). Right now I've picked up Crumbled Bacon and I'm going for either Shredded Cheddar or Black Pepper next condiment. There's nothing overpowered about it if the CM's not afraid to use more encounters with Sweet.

-Poppy Seed-? I don't see the synergy. I mean, for a Bagel or Muffin, sure, as long as your CM allows Essence of Lemon (Do NOT go with Zest, the Chewy penalties aren't worth it and you're open to anything with Bitter Enhancement), but -pierogi-? Really?
Huh, I'll check. Man, I'm not even sure I have my Complete Coffee Cakes anymore.
