No, I'm fairly certain Ruby was ALREADY BLIND. The accident didn't cause her blindness. They thought her blindness may have lead to it. Consider this. Ruby was brought there because she was blind. They wanted to cure her. Also, when she had the dream of her room? Her dream was sparse because she was blind. She only knew what she touched.

Idea: Her actual eyes still might not work. Her third eye operating physically since she got out of the locker(thus it didn't need to be uncovered to work.. psychic). She had it the whole time.. mutation from the treatment.

That's my bet. Evidently Red didn't want anyone (or perhaps, Ace specifically) to find her. He did, something happened.

Everyone's jumping on the SHE'S DEAD theories, but think about it:
We just saw video proof she survived Red's attack.
    Who found her? Ace.
    Who declared her dead? Ace.

Earlier it was theorized Ace declared her dead to cover his own tracks so he can experiment on her. This only lends credibility to that theory.
    SHE WAS ALIVE.

Just one thing I wanted to add.

I don't think I'm spoiling anything by saying the keycard from the hole in the wall does indeed work on the display case, as you all expected.

Can you post to Tom's death pics as extra bonus content?

Or they were never dead in the first place.
Ruby never necessarily "DIED", Ace could have just filed her as dead to make her a subject of his cruel experiments, and just because the bear zombie appears half-melted doesn't mean it's not still alive.

The only ones that seemed to COMPLETELY die are Red and the Hound zombie, and both of them haven't come back yet.

My theory: Ace is the BBEG here. Whether he was in charge or just another one of the doctors here, he began filing people as 'dead' and stashing them away in his private lab to do horrible experiments on them.
It would explain Red's whole NEVER CATCH ME NEVER NEVER NEVER thing: he'd rather die than be caught by Ace and taken back to the experimenting table.
Combination experiments, drugs, and head trauma would explain Ruby's hallucinations AND amnesia, as well. Her "visions" could be MEMORIES, like when she saw herself dead in the crate, it was a flashback to her near-death experience inside that very crate, where Red stashed her for whatever reason (perhaps Red was acting kindly after all, and he was trying to spare her the cruelty of Ace's dissection table)!

Yeah, that is what I think it is going on. Though I think it is a silly theory. The eye is most likely incidental, but the idea of PSY RUBY is too fun to just toss away.

It would explain some things though. Ruby is privy to information others aren't. Then again, it could be less psychic and just her remembering things(since she lost her memory). Like the corpse in the crate? Probably just her memory kicking in telling her she was thumped by Red. Her room? Just honestly remembering her room.

I take it we're getting closer to the end? And finally, let me mention again that the poem is one of the neatest things I've seen done for a game in a long, long time. I'm glad you're making this for us, but seriously, this is a waste of your talents. try going pro, son.

I'm kinda speculating that the hound zombie was Tom since Ruby shoved the hook through the zombie's right eye and then the next time she sees Tom in person his eye is missing. That's probably going out on a limb, but that's the only thing I can come up with.
