    Aldwin silently and stealthily prepares himself for the day ahead. One of his new training routines was to go as long as he could without waking up Lily. Once finished preparing, Aldwin silently and gently placed Lily into a side satchel, so she could keep sleeping without him having to leave her all alone.

    The most pressing issue at hand is to figure out what to do with the scimitar! Aldwin can:

    1) Sell it for Gold! However, Aldwin is still sitting on 97 Gold, and is doing quite well. He has no need for more at the moment.

    2) Trade it to Nemelex for cards! By going to a temple of Nemelex, Aldwin can sacrifice valuables for Decks of Cards. For every 1000 Gold's worth he sacrifices, he gains a new deck. He has so far sacrified 3,400 Gold, and he is quite sure this sword is worth more than 600 Gold.

    3) Wield it for himself! But he'll probably want to find out what sort of enchantment it has first.

    What to do...

    Aldwin knows magical theory only, sad to say. He has a fair wellspring of knowledge on how things work, but the only magic he can do himself is Summoning Magic, and only then with Nemelex's help.

    However, he does know one spell - his Session power, Make A Friend, allows him to make any summoned creature friendly towards Aldwin! Useful for when Nemelex's magic backfires.

    The Library visit to ID the saber can wait. A haberdasher must be found!

    Since Aordor is his hometown, Aldwin knows exactly where the Haberdasher is, just across the street from the temple of Glittergold. Aldwin makes a B-Line for it.

    The fact that Aldwin is carrying a loli in a satchel probably isn't going to look good. COME UP WITH A GOOD EXPLANATION AS TO WHY YOU'RE CARRYING A SLEEPING CHILD.

    A direct explanation may work best in this situation. Aldwin could tell Cultist that he was worried that his friend would get into trouble if he left her alone, and he felt guilty about waking her.

    NEMELEX DECK README, SINCE THE INTERNET IS YOUR FRIEND.
    Nemelex Xobeh: The "Gambler" god
    ================================
    Nemelex is a strange and unpredictable trickster God, whose powers can be
    invoked through the magical packs of cards which Nemelex paints in the ichor
    of demons. Followers receive occasional gifts, and should use these gifts
    as much as possible. Offerings of any type of item are also appreciated.
    The Trickster may provide certain ways to improve one's chances at cards,
    but prefers those who trust to luck.

    - Granted powers:
    * Any time: Deck Peek (Cost: 3 energy, 1 piety, instant)
    The top three cards will be identified and then shuffled back into the
    deck. This ability does not work with marked decks (a deck that you either
    have used the Mark Deck or Stack Deck abilities on).

    * Any time: Draw Card (Cost: 2 energy)
    You may select a deck that a card will be drawn from (you do not need to
    wield a deck to use this ability).

    * 100 piety: Triple Draw (Cost: 2 energy, 100 nutrition, 2 piety)
    You may select a deck that three cards will be drawn from. You will then
    be asked what card that should be kept (and used), the two remaining cards
    will be discarded. This ability can not draw cards from a marked deck (a
    deck that you either have used the Mark Deck or Stack Deck abilities on).
    >> подметно 02/15/09(Sun)02:31 No.3716813
    >>3716812
    * 125 piety: Mark Deck (Cost: 4 energy, 125 nutrition, 5 piety)
    Marks the first four cards in a deck, then shuffles them and puts them back
    in the deck (not necessarily at the top of the deck). When the card will be
    at the top the player will be able to recognize it before drawing. This
    skill requires the deck to be wielded and a deck can only be marked once.

    * 150 piety: Stack Deck (Cost: 5 energy, 250 nutrition, 10 piety)
    All but the top five cards in the deck are thrown away and you get the
    opportunity to order these five. This skill requires the deck to be
    wielded, it also marks the deck.
