    86 KB Still Unnamed Story P.2.5 !ZaiyoM.Dpk 07/03/09(Fri)08:06 No.5080043
Some of you may know me from yesterday, some of you may not. I'm finishing up P2 today.

When we last left all, you had brought the old man to the hospital only to see the woman you had fought about to "kill him". She gives you a challenge on the rooftop, to which you head to after a few minutes.

Upon opening the door to the rooftop, you cracked your neck before your eyes focused on the unarmed woman that stood at the middle of the empty area. The wind was violent, blowing her hair wildly, but she didn’t seem to care. She stood in silence; her eyes penetrated the mental shield you had wrapped around yourself. Suddenly, you became dizzy and your eye sight became blurry.

For a moment, the woman vanished and a giggling white figure replaced her harboring an expression upon its face that could only mean to condescend. The ache in your head subsided after several seconds passed and the illusion you believed you saw vanished.

    “Why are you doing this?”

    Her expression remained the same.

“What do you want me to say? That I had a bad childhood and am taking it out on everyone else, or that I’m abused? I do what I do because I want to.”

While she talked, you scanned the rooftop for any traps or notable objects, but find nothing aside from hospital sheets flapping on a clothesline.

“Tsk, tsk. Don’t you realize how insane this is, you’re a bad girl.”

Her eye twitched as you spoke.

    “I want a rematch.”

“You still owe me for the other match you lost.”

“I’ll double the bet. This time, if you win, I’ll do whatever you want. Twice.”

Before you can respond, she cuts you off.

“However, this match will be different. There will be no weapons and no special attacks, only martial arts.”

“Fine, don’t cry when you lose again.”

“Oh, I won’t be losing this time around.”

Simultaneously, you both assume your battle stance. You wonder if you can without Bear Form or Power Strike, and without a sword, but you seem to have an inexplicable knack for fighting hand-to-hand. Maybe if you win, you’ll remember something.

I don't see what's stopping us from using special abilities. I wouldn't honour her rules for the fight, considering the fact she occupies herself with killing innocent civilians because she wants to. We'll start off with defense again, but I want to see some special ability pwnage somewhere in here.

Also, it's best if you get a set time to do this each day (complete with timezone). That way you have the same crowd each day.

    >>5080137

Hm, I suppose I see your point. I'm still indecisive, though. There's not a whole lot I'd want from a bitch like this, short of no repercussions from her father or whatnot. That could be covered from the deal from the first fight, but I suppose this is all or nothing.

Perhaps only use power strike if we're clearly losing (because then we wouldn't get the deal anyways), and only bear-form if the situation is absolutely desperate.

I missed part one of this. Can someone bring me up to speed?
    >> Anonymous 07/03/09(Fri)08:27 No.5080197
You take up a defensive stance the moment you see her foot slide forward. She has a large stride and reaches you in no time at all, her fist blazing with emotion in the air. She hits your arm and your muscles tighten in defense. Your fist shoots out but she blocks it with her leg which she raised in defense. The two of you back away from one another and begin to circle the middle of the rooftop while in stance.

She steps forward again and begins to swing wildly. You weave in and out of her blows while holding your arms close to your chest; she’s significantly more aggressive than she was in her last match. In her mind, she must be trying to prevent you from attacking to avoid damage.

When he fist shoots out again, you grab it and then wrap your hand around her arm. You pivot your body and turn, swinging her over it in the process, but she lands on her feet. Suddenly, she raised her head up and smashes it under your chin, causing you to reel backward while blood flew from your mouth. She doesn’t pursue, however, instead putting her fists up while you wipe the blood from your mouth. You notice she’s bouncing as if she’s trying to keep to a rhythm.

    Forgot my trip.

    >>5080168

You're running through a forest being chased by a group of people while you seem to be forgetting everything. You find out you can transform into a bear and proceed to maul your pursuers. You question one of the, but only get basic information.

You then travel deep in the forest where you meet a being made of memories that has been eating yours. You fight them in hopes of getting yours back but lose. You then go through a "level up" interlude.

Afterward, it's part 2. You wake up in a house where a woman is taking care of you, you decide your name, and eventually leave. You go to the square where the woman you're currently fighting is abusing an old man and fatally wounds him.

You eventually cannot ignore her anymore and proceed to fight her, and win. Then, instead of extracting revenge, you bring the older man to the hospital where he's in intensive care.

    That's about it.

You start bouncing along with her, trying to get into her rhythm, but, at the same time, defeat it. You may get sucked into her stride, but it’s the only option you can think of. When she steps forward, so do you. You mirror her movements almost perfectly, you both throwing identical punches at the same time, dodging the same attacks the same way. You wonder how you’re able to do this so well, but that’s something to worry about another time.

While you two attack each other, you notice she stops for a split second. “There!” you should in your mind. Your fist rockets forward toward her face, to which she immediately defends. But, much to her surprise, the fist she thought she saw turned ghostly and vanished.

    You learned Feint.

You crouch and turn your arm, sending a punch straight upward toward her chin, which is now exposed. Your muscles tighten and your shoulder arcs into the attack, giving it more power. You land it successfully, sending her spiraling into the air. She remains airborne for a long time.

You leap into the air in an attempt to follow up your attack. You extend your leg and spin, the heel of your foot aiming to land against her stomach. One moment, you see her eyes closed, but, the next, they’re open and full of anger. She grabs your foot and stops the attack right before it made contact with your body. You both freefall for a few moments before one of you attacks.

She turns her body and puts her feet together. Her knees curl and extend with great force that barely misses your head. You’re now under her and she’s seemingly vulnerable.

You fist implants itself in her abdomen. Her clothes contorted when your fist moved, returning to its wild flapping when you took it away from her body. She jerked forward as if vomiting but nothing emerge from her mouth save for saliva. While she was recovering from the attack, you wrapped your hands around her and hugged her body. In mid-air, you turned and positioned her head toward the rooftop and wrapped your legs around her chest. Unable to move, she had no other option but to endure.

You both slammed into the ground with great force. The roof cracked and broke apart as a surge of wind burst outward from the point of collision. You remained in position as you felt the inevitability of falling through. You gave the unresponsive woman a quick glance, noting the thick red liquid that was pouring from her head. With that, you fell through to the other floors. As you did, you let her go, assuming the battle was over. She floated in the air almost gracefully before her body suddenly turned around and dive-bombed toward you, her leg extended in aim of your face.

    “Cool Blue Kick!”

Off guard, the attack collided with your cheek and sent you flying. You made a miniature indent against the wall in the empty white room. There were several plans strewn about, as well as several machines that had drinks on it. In the center was a couch with a table in front of it; you were in a break room. You removed yourself from the wall with some effort. The pieces that had become dislodged fell against the ground in silence. You opened your eyes which you had instinctively closed, almost immediately noticing that they had become heavy. Maybe it was the blood pouring over them or maybe you were reaching your limit. Either way, the battle was not over.

“You have no right to look at me like that. It’s just a way to pass the time – the daily grind.”

“You’re just a perverted killing maniac.”

She grows angry and clenches her fist.

“Killing for fun and killing for whatever other reason is, in essence, the same thing. Don’t go on thinking you’re better than me. Who the FUCK do you think you are? You’re going to pay for looking down on me with your fucking LIFE!”

The moment you finished deciding what you were going to do, she was already airborne. When she had invaded enough of your space, she continuously kicked against your arms that were held in defense. You noticed that with each kick her power and speed declined. Eventually, she stopped and dropped to the ground slowly. You took this opportunity to finish the match.

You grab her shirt and her leg and slammed her against one of the vending machines. It shattered and glass fell against her being when you had thrown her through. Her head dropped as if she were unconscious, but, given your past experiences, she may not have been.

You remove her from the vending machine and toss her on the couch. She makes a small noise, but she remains unconscious.

You stare at her limp body for a few moments before you reach your hand in the vending machine and take out a drink. It opens with a hiss and you chug it down, making large gulps every time you swallow. You toss the can in her direction and it hits her temple. With the battle over, you stealthy leave the hospital without being noticed. Now outside, you’re unsure what to do.

She stares at you with unsatisfied eyes, but decides not to pursue it. “Help yourself to whatever is in the house. I have to go out; I heard my father was recently hospitalized. I have to go see him.”

Your eyes widen at the revelation. You turn toward the door, but Karen had already left. You shake your head to rid yourself of negative thoughts; you believe she’ll be fine.
