So it's been about a week. How about another Tiji Sector thread?
    Old Threads: http://suptg.thisisnotatrueending.com/archive.html?tags=Tiji%20Sector
    1d4chan page: http://1d4chan.org/wiki/Tiji_Sector
So at the moment it's mainly the people of Xomula that need some fluffing, such as the Chapter Master of the Deep Ones and The High Canoness of the Order of the Healing Touch.

    Got a color scheme?

Also we have this piece of drawfaggotry.

They are a Salamanders successor chapter if you can't tell by the emblem. There's some information on the 1d4chan page.

By chance, it turns out this is the same location where Hive Fleets Behemoth and Leviathan were predicted to meet at the same time - if they weren't defeated.

Well there's the heretic section to the Spin-core, right?

Also should the map be flipped, due to the Tiji Sector's location corewards should be on the right, not the left... right?
    >> Anonymous 07/25/09(Sat)16:23 No.5255947
    >>5255792
Technically, the map should be rotated 90 degrees anti-clockwise and then it would be correct.
However, fuck you, I am not doing that. This is accurately enough.

Anyway, here are a few basic names. Feel free to give them your own, excluding Tzeentch's Rhombus.

I mean, even on the original map, I unintentionally put four absolutely fucking TERRIYING systems in an almost perfect parallelogram.
You've got your frontier space - it's not anywhere near the Halo Stars, really, but it's on the very, very, very of that spiral arm, where there's almost no stars at all.
Industrial space, only named such because, fuck, look at it. Contain shitloads of mining and industrial and administrative planets. Other than that, it's fairly mundane.
Central Space, because there's where all of the capitals and everything fancy and nice is.
Xenos Space needs another name, only named as such because there are two planets that are very dreadfully Xenos.
Then you've got Heathen's Gaze, only called such because all of the planets in that region are capable of seeing a particularily large warp storm that I am tempted to include on the map. This warp storm is the primary source of all the political unrest in the area and most of the heresy. Needs a decent renaming.
Also, ruined space, a rather non-descript area of land that well... fuck, nothing special about it exept for a third of them being dead planets.

All needs a bit of renaming.

    Seems fair enough to me.

Although looking at Tzeentch's rhombus, should we add something terrible to Yhas? I mean besides a celestial object that's not quite a planet or a star.

Perhaps a sinister reason such an object came to existence?
    >> Anonymous 07/25/09(Sat)16:44 No.5256120
    >>5256074
No need to add a sinister reason.

The terrifying part is that Yhas is fucking massive. It's also insanely dense. Over fifty moons orbit it. There's no way to describe it. It's not a planet, it's not a sun, it's somewhere in between, on the verge of being both yet neither. Seriously, what are the odds of coming across such a spectacular anomaly?

Anyone who tries to research the origins of Yhas and the reasons why it remains so impossibly stable eventually goes insane. It could be because Yhas is not of reality. It could simply be because it's impossible to comprehend at their level of technology.

Simply put, Yhas is physically impossible. There's no other way of putting it. It shouldn't exist according to Imperial physics.
    >> Anonymous 07/25/09(Sat)16:52 No.5256194
    >>5256120
    You make a good point.

Probably the most Tzeentchy thing in the sector.
    >> Anonymous 07/25/09(Sat)17:07 No.5256294
    >>5256194
Yeah, I agree. It could even be an artifact thrown into reality by Tzeentch.

Anyway, I have been thinking about another thing.

We need to write up a paragraph or so for each planet, where we discuss everything that there is to talk about for each planet but we don't go overboard with details.

However, with this, I propose we add a list of plot hooks. This was originally designed for Dark Heresy so I suggest we add more information about how these planets could be used.

Here's an example for, say, Texasium:

The ship is landing to briefly restock and refuel on Texasium. Protect your navigator from anti-psyker lynchmobs. (Threat Level: Minoris)
Over the past six months, dozens of astropaths have gone missing in Texasium's capitol, Dallasus. Investigate. (Threat Level: Majoris)
Rebellion. A small faction of potent psykers has arisen, demanding equal rights and the end of the Blackship tithe. (Threat Level: Terminus)

Well we've already made a fuckload for Xomula. I really don't want to list them all, because we made so many. The threads are filled to the brim with them.

Some minor and majoris plothooks for Yhas could be...
There's been a cave in on one of the moons. A valuable scanner is trapped. Get it out.
A bunch of researchers researching the history of Yhas and how it came to be have cracked. They've holed themselves in one of the facilities on a moon. Get rid of them without damaging any of the valuable equipments.
They may have turned into Tzeentch cultists now.

A potential cult of Nurgle has arisen in one of the militia's regiments. Investigate it and deal with it. (Threat Level: Minoris/Majoris)
In order to keep the economy functioning, you have been 'volunteered' to guard a shipment of air being sent to an Outsider settlement. (Threat Level: Majoris)
The hive-dome has malfunctioned and air-locks have been breached. Defend the city from the horrors of the deep as they rise from the oceans. (Threat Level: Terminus)
Communications have ceased with another hive-dome after the air filters malfunctioned. You're sent to retrieve an important individual. (Threat Level: Terminus)

Holy Shit, a Tiji Thread! Kickass.

These hooks sound really awesome. Do a lot to add flavor. I'll have a go at a few these in a bit.

Good to see that we have subsectors now. I'm actually wondering though... I know that each world has a governor, but I think I read somewhere once that each subsector has someone in charge of it as well, and even the whole sector should have someone in charge. Can't find the source now for the life of me though. Any ideas on that? A council of subsector heads getting together and deciding what the next great joke they'll play on the sector strikes me as an amusing idea. Though of course, they're probably all shiped off to that local prison world by now, right?

Its good to see that this is coming along still. I've been using varius Tiji planets as origin points for my DH characters lately and its working out great. I hope we manage to actually finish some day.

Central leader is probably Sector chancellor.
Industrial leader is probably an uppity fabricator general.
Rhombus leader is probably the chapter master.

    Some plot hooks...

Xaviol - One or more blanks are running amuk on Xaviol, disrupting important communications across the whole sector. There shouldn't be any blanks on Xaviol, let alone any capable of evading capture for so long. You have been dispatched to get to the bottom of this mystery and capture the individual or individuals for the use of your masters.

Veresuomi - An artifact of unclear origin has been discovered on Veresuomi, but with none of the Adeptus Terra branches holding even a token precence on the world, and with intel scarce, there is confusion as to who's juristiction the artifact falls under. Unwilling to let the artifact go unguarded you have been sent to see that it is 'retrieved' for your masters before anyone else can claim it. No easy task on a planet where official imperial precence has a habit of disapearing overnight.

LVX - An important Ecclesiarchy member has gone missing with all signs pointing to local worshipers of the Omnisiah. Likewise the Mechanicus are blaming the Ecclesiarchy for the recent disapearence of an important Tech-priest, and are rallying up the population to strike back on their behalf. You have been dispatched to disarm the situation before matters spiral any further out of control.

Hades - Colony Fleet Hades reported a mysterious planet briefly blinking in and out of existance during a recent bout of warp-turbulance. With similar conditions approaching fast, you have been dispatched to ivestigate the expected anomaly.
    >> RYXlord 07/26/09(Sun)04:52 No.5261505
    >>5261495

    Whoops, forgot my name.

Agailareptor - A small cult of grave robbers has been reported operating around Agailareptor. They are suspected to have something to do with Zombie sightings on nearby worlds. You have been sent to put an end to this Heresy once and for all.

Saskatchewion - A series of explosions over the past few months has severly compromised the structural integrity of one of Saskatchewion's lesser-used, overgrown agri-domes. A heretical organization is suspected to be behind these incidencts. Your assignment is to locate the group in the dense jungle that is the damaged dome and show them how The Imperium responds to those that threaten the food supply.

USSR - A new strain of virus is causing the planet's razor-grass to rot in the ground. Deamonic influence is suspected. You have been sent to investigate.
