    >Move out to help them sweep the trenches and clear any other bunkers
    >Locate Imprisoned Guardsmen

You rationalize that the prisoners may be used as sacrifices, and declare that to be fucking heretical, thus, begetting retribution. You lead the charge, aiding the guardsmen in the sweep of the trenches leading towards the bunker you fired Iratus into. Soaking up Lasfire for some of the guardsmen, you advance suffering no casualties until you reach a choked crossroad in the trench. Foolishly, you step into the open firing line, and autocannon shot pinging off your armour, but shaking you enough to knock you off your feet. You take cover as the veterans move up behind you.

"How do we get passed THAT thing, Sir?"

"Do not worry, guardsman. The Emperor always provides a solution."

That solution happens to be a dreadnought ripping the cannon out of the emplacement, sending it hurtling through the air, the gun crew with it.

"Sir, The Thundering Gales Captain Saevio reports that the Battle Barge, the Maelstrom, is moving to support us."

You move up the trench. Iratus almost makes a swing for a loyalist, but you halt him.

"No, Brother! These men still hold His name in their hearts. They've been of indispensable aid thus far."

"UNDERSTOOD, BROTHER. WHERE SHALL I BRING HIS VENGEANCE?"

You point towards a large gun tower. In a fury, Iratus charges to meet his greatest foe - Stairs.

You and the guardsmen move into the tunnels to look for the holding cells.

Right, since I'm assuming we're relatively clear of AT guns, we could just let Iratus attack that orbital batter in the mean time. Now, we should need to free those prisoners and then bring them to the surface to support Iratus on those orbital batteries and eventually, the larger traitor forces.

Ask the sergeant for a description of the layout of those tunnels.

In any case, there's no time to waste. The Battle Barge is preparing to drop in more of our Brothers and they need those orbital guns offline ASAP. If the controls are centralized, go after the command center. If each gun has its own firing crew, then we're going to do this the hard way, which is honestly much more preferable because it means we get to make more explosions.

Maybe Brother Iratus can help us out by simply breaking a traitor's limbs instead of his everything.

You break the toothbrush she was using in half. It can't defile the walls any longer.

"Well that's just rude." She says, flopping down into the ragged throw-rug that passes as a bed. She turns over and falls asleep. You know this because you hear gentle snoring, despite all that's going on.

You re-attach the door to the hinges with the help of a lasgun from a guardsman. The cells have been cleared. The guardsmen you freed have already ran to support the Astartes, charging towards another gun emplacement.

An enormous earthquake rocks the area as you hear a tower crumble into ruin. Leaving a 5-man guard on the cultist's cell, you return topside to inspect the sound. Turns out Iratus did a bang up job taking out the tower.

The darkness over takes your senses as you're knocked unconscious from the shockwave. Orbital fire from the Maelstrom silences the final gun, the assaulting forces (from what you're seeing) utterly anihilated along with the heretical defenders. You're thrown back into the cell block.

You awaken to find you're alone. There are no guards posted any longer. Drop pod impacts rock the earth as your brothers move in to support the assault. The cell that the cultist was in is still shut.

"Interesting. Accompany her escort to the Maelstrom. Extract what you can from her."

She is lifted by a pair of Sternguard as a Thunderhawk swoops down from the skies. It lands nearby.

You're ushered on to follow. Taking your position across from her, you watch her motions. She looks around with perked interest at the interior of the ship, then loses focus and watches her toes as you ascend through the atmosphere.

The Thunderhawk docks with the Maelstrom shortly. You follow the escort to an interrogation chamber.

No need for unpleasantries if she's willing, lucid or not.

If it was a daemonhost, it would probably be flinging warp-lightning around and generally being all YO WATSUP about it. They're not generally very subtle, once they've been summoned. That's not to say the body might be tainted or full of nasty nurgle plagues or something though.
