You select the tanks as the priority targets for your heat ray drones and immediately they buzz over the battlefield as they approach HQ11, showering them with heat. There's no explosion - the poor bastards in the vehicle don't even scream. The music just comes to a sudden halt as the metal melts.
The advance stops - suddenly, thousands of them begin to fire randomly into the air. Tens of thousands of bullets are flying in a matter of seconds, filling the air and it's not long until some drones crash and fall. However, that's not the primary threat.
Cases that the zealots were sitting upon in the stripped down APCs are suddenly opened and they take out rather complex looking RPG-launchers. You recognize a crude version of AlphaRange's homing technology - heat-seeking. The RPGs are launched blinded but they definitely begin to hit their targets, eliminating your forces a few handfuls of drones at a time - meanwhile, they're simply dying in droves - and quickly losing morale. Many of them are already losing morale, converted natives firing upon their 'allies' and trying to run away into the wild.
The situation near HQ15 is even more hilarious - eighteen beams from the sky begin to burn pretty patterns in the mud, leaving steaming ditches and molten vehicles in their wake. The poor monkeys and zealots look ever so confused, screaming about the end of days and running around wildly, trying to locate their assailants but to no avail. However, the APCs break away from the confusion, racing towards HQ15.
