Awaken, my Child, and embrace the glory that is your birthright. Know that I am the Overmind, the Eternal Will of the Swarm, and that you have been created to serve Me.

Behold that I shall set you amongst the greatest of My Cerebrates, that you might benefit from their wisdom and experience. Yet your purpose is unique. While they carry forth My Will to the innumerable Broods, your charge is yet undefined.

It has become apparent to Me that the drive of My Will has made the Swarm's actions predictable to My foes. You shall be left free to act as you will, so long as it does not conflict with My designs.

You need not fear death, for you are part of the Swarm. If ever your flesh should fail, that flesh shall be made anew. That is My covenant with all Cerebrates. Truly, no Zerg can stray from My Will, for all that you are lies wholly within Me.

Now go, My child, and confound those who would stand in our way!

The Overmind provides you with a hatchery on Besilus, a desert world on the very edge of the Koprulu sector. Several larvae scuttle about, awaiting orders and vaguely resembling your pulsating form, resting exposed before the nascent hive cluster.

Your mind, newly born from the Creep, sends frenzied signals to produce drones. One drone bursts forth from its egg. You experience, for the first time, a shared reality. You see the hatchery and your own squirming form from behind the eyes of the drone. For a moment, you pause at the sheer immensity of your lot in life.

Your reverie passes quickly, though, as you use your latent psionic power to guide the drone toward a nearby cluster of crystals. The combined experience of hundreds of years of Zerg evolution flow into your mind as you direct its claws to mine the resource.

As the drone scuttles across the life-bearing Creep, you realize that your mind is yet weak, and could not contain the thoughts of another drone.

You could evolve some of these larvae into overlords, or you could flex your mind. Perhaps you can learn to control more minions through sheer force of will? It would be safer to use overlords, though...

    Horrible idea.

Wait for the drone to collect sufficient minerals, turn him into a spawning pool, and evolve a pair of zerglings. I expect them to be a sufficient force to conquer this planet, then perhaps galaxy.

    >>11143858
You calculate in your mind the amount of resources you've gathered, and send your only drone to become a new building for the Glory of the Swarm. Soon, the squirming mass rises up and a Spawning Pool forms.

A larvae shudders as it doubles over and forms a protective shell around itself. As the small creature within mutates into a new form of life, you consider that you have just enough nutrients left within your hive cluster to produce another drone.

It seems like a really, ridiculously good idea to make another drone, and not die off within ten minutes of being made manifest by the Overmind.
    >> Cerebrate Anon 07/15/10(Thu)01:39 No.11143995
    >>11143926
The egg widens suddenly, and the shell explodes outwards, creating two zerglings.

Your mind adapts to the input of two lesser beings quickly. Perhaps your powers are increasing? Perhaps you don't NEED overlords? Or perhaps these zerglings are simply easier to control. It's hard to tell, what with you being no more than ten minutes old, and all. The shared psionic genetic memories of an entire species tell you much about the Swarm, but they lack the personal touch.

Anyway, you now control a Hatchery, Spawning Pool, and two zerglings. The zerglings are rambunctious, and their thirst for blood feels...compelling.

The idea of such lowly beings having individual names is new to the Swarm. Already, your unique purpose is obvious.

Ernie runs toward the red sun, which you assume is setting. Bernie runs the other way.

After a few minutes, you Bernie comes upon a Terran structure. A brief commune with the Overmind reveals to you that it is one of their supply depots, set across the wastelands for any wayward units. The insignia spraypainted haphazardly on one side resembles the logo of a pirate company called Buzzer's Blazes. There may be a compound nearby.

Ernie, on the other hand, finds a neat skeleton, and a lot of sand. Oh, the sand he finds. It's damn sandy.

You still have the distinct feeling that you ought to create a drone or two before your colony begins to decay.

    (for fuck's sake, thank you)

Using what resources you have left, you burn a new genome into one of your errant larvae. Soon enough, a drone purrs as it breaks free of its egg.

Bernie looks at the Depot with lust. He wishes, on a genetic level, to destroy it. He waits, however, for your command.

Ernie, continuing East, has reached a tar pit. You find it hard to feel his extremities. Perhaps your powers are limited to a specific range, still? You are young, yet.

Bernie has begun to salivate at the thought of his first violence against the Depot.

Your mind strains as you create a second drone. You feel that perhaps your unique nature is more philosophical than physiological, and order the spawning of an overlord.

Would you like to assign the overlord's brainpower to something in particular (like, say, resource gathering? You'll require more as your operations increase, but one could probably handle a small hive cluster's resource needs by its lonesome)?

So far, 2 votes for assigning overlord to resources. Your genetic memory recalls that each Cerebrate determines the usage of psi by its overlords for itself. Some assign overlords to a task (and some even allow the overlord to order the spawning of additional overlords to further that task), while others merely use the overlords as a conduit of their will (which would relax the strain of controlling the Swarm in a more general manner). Neither seems to work better or worse. It's just a matter of choice.

Bernie moves Southward, back toward the Depot. Its tongue still slathers at the thought of destroying the building, but it awaits your will. The West and South of the Depot remain unknown to you.

Ernie stands next to the skeleton it retrieved for you, awaiting orders. It seems more calm, having never encountered an enemy.

Your mind resolves. Accountantlord bursts forth from his shell (perhaps a little long inside. He looks more...round....than he should?). You assign him to caring for resources. It grunts, and you wonder why beings that communicate purely through thought should even have vocal cords.

You begin forming two brothers for him. It seems prudent to have plenty of brain matter around.

You try to order a drone to build a Refinery, but Accountantlord groans at you annoyedly and does it itself. You suppose you DID hand over resource control to it.

Bernie waits for a direction to go from the Depot to the West. Ernie watches the resource gatherers. You sense a new emotion emerging within them both: boredom.

The Overmind's Eye glances at you sharply. You feel that while Besilus is yours to do with as you please, you are not yet allowed to speak for the Swarm offworld.

Scoutlord jumps skyward from his egg, and seizes Ernie and Bernie from you. Perhaps you give your overlords too much leeway...You do sense the minds of the zerglings, though. Ernie is scouting directly South from the base. Bernie has run even further West, being careful not to alert the Depot's defenses to his presence.

Defenselord is still incubating, resources being what they were a few minutes ago.

Beside, who said we had any intention of keeping our word? Consider this an experiment. We have no intention of speaking for anyone but the hive right here, but it could be useful. As long as they are useful to us, we can ... provide certain benefits. Such as, for example, political situations that we can exploit.

As far as Accountantlord... hm. No. Not yet. We can give him a subordinate overlord to learn from him, for now, but an overlord spawning more overlords just doesn't quite work for me here.

Note to Overmind: in case the shit hits the fan anywhere in the future, allowing overlords to spawn other overlords in the future could be useful, if a cerebrate is not available to help guide them. This way the Hive has no single point of failure, and the resulting overlords can still be brought under a Cerebrate's control if need be.

Scoutlord brings your attention to a Terran civilian South of the Depot. Bernie salivates at the thought of violence, but Scoutlord desires your input. Murder the civilian?

Defenselord tears free of its egg. It begins spawning a few drones to build Sunken Colonies. Accountantlord is annoyed at this drain on its resources.

    H'okay. So here's my proposal.

Rather than letting any overlord spawn anything, they can spawn and build as necessary for their roles but not outside of them. Accountantlord, for example, can spawn workers but not zerglings. They can request more overlords to be added to manage shit, but they can't spawn overlords themselves, at least not at this point.

Accountantlord can be rewarded with the first new overlord to help him, for inspiring this idea, and we'll work on it from there. But he needs to remember that this is a team effort. He's Accountantlord, not Bankinglord or Stockbrokerlord, and building up resources to sit on them doesn't benefit us, the Swarm, or the Overmind in the least.

Defenselord continues spawning buildings, and the Creep's nourishing carpet extends outward.

Accountantlord is given three subordinate overlords, but not yet the ability to spawn its own. It seems very displeased, but as its consciousness is really only an extension of your own, that just means that you're annoyed with your own failure to act quickly...or something...right? You resolve not to think too hard on your own collective consciousness.

Scoutlord proposes that the civilian, who appears to be touching himself while staring at tree-pulp imprinted with images, could be used to facilitate your recent groundbreaking innovation of diplomacy.

Bernie snaps its teeth together at the thought of the civilian's bones snapping in its mouth, spraying hot marrow.

Ernie has discovered a small pass in the surrounding cliffside to the South. If it continues the direction, it could well lead directly to the Terrans' main mineral deposits. Ernie, in contrast to Bernie, seems pretty levelheaded about this whole murder thing.

Defenselord growls at this discovery. You get the feeling it wasn't prepared for it.

Accountantlord seems to think that Defenselord should only get some, and is keeping Accountantlord from spawning more drones (which it will do the second you give it another overlord to work with...micromanaging them seems kind of hard).

Scoutlord doesn't express any particular desire to expand its operations beyond Bernie and Ernie, but since it's an extension of your mind, you know it wouldn't argue with more. Current assets:

We currently possess a mostly-intact outcropping of minerals and one Extractor. Drones scuttle back and forth, collecting more and more as we go. Accountantlord has two overlords helping it keep that under control, though it would love more.

We have a Hatchery and a Spawning Pool. We have spawned several zerglings, who stand just out of the way of the supply chain, but we haven't given them orders, nor have we mobilized drones for more buildings. We have considered making an overlord specifically to oversee the construction of buildings and research.

Defenselord has built a pretty solid assortment of Sunken Colonies and Spore Colonies around us and the hive cluster. It is currently hovering menacingly next to Accountantlord, arguing over resources.

Bernie, our bloodthirsty zergling, is hovering in the trees around a very prolific Terran civilian, who has been beating his meat for a long time, now. Maybe that power-armor-like glove isn't made for that...

Ernie, our other scout, is currently guarding the pass to the South that leads to the Terrans' main resource base.

We know of a Supply Depot to the West and a small crop of resources to the NorthWest. Accountantlord would probably want to expand there if it weren't busy arguing angrily with Defenselord.

Inform Defenselord that he may use one quarter of our resources for defense. This means our total hive value, NOT our current resource pool; otherwise he'll just be nibbling a quarter away every time until there's nothing.

    A sudden resolve overtakes us.

We order Bernie to cripple, but not kill, the Terran civilian. Bernie leaps out in a frenzy, tearing the Terran's...parts...off with its first strike. The Terran is screaming in pain, making a lot of noise. Scoutlord wisely sets Bernie to feasting on the lost...parts...rather than continuing its attack. The Terran seems to be losing a lot of blood, considering the light nature of the wound. If his genetic material is to be absorbed, something must drag him to the Hatchery before he bleeds out.

Several eggs form from their larval forms. Citylord and Warlord are among them, as are several subordinates for both of them, and a couple for Accountantlord.

Defenselord is allotted a certain portion of the resources. It grumbles that anything less than a completely defensive posture is dangerous.

Ernie continues to stand next to the pass, awaiting orders coolly. A dozen unnnamed zerglings wait their first orders and assignments near the Hatchery.

Bernie growls at Scoutlord for having to lug the human, screaming and kicking, back to the Hatchery, but it does it. The human pleads with Bernie in its foreign tongue. Bernie fantasizes about tearing cocks from dozens of Terrans and feasting on them. Bernie imagines growing fat on the bloody, dismembered cocks of Terrans.

Scoutlord worries about whether Bernie is really a good choice for this...diplomacy idea.

Citylord begins constructing buildings like it's going out of style. New strains of Zerg enter our consciousness. Hydralisks. Mutalisks. Scourge.

The newly-hatched Lablord takes the Terran's bloody form from Bernie. It seems like the Terran is near to bleeding out from his...wound...Lablord wheezes as it requests subordinate overlords to help manage both infestation of the Terran and improvement of the hive cluster as a whole.

Warlord greedily spawns zerglings. It hisses that it will require us to SPAWN MORE OVERLORDS for it if it is to construct a Swarm big enough to wash across the surface of Besilus.

Really, it's hard enough keeping these overlords under control. Exact counts would complicate EVERYTHING.

Accountantlord and Citylord seem to like each other, oddly enough. They have worked together to expand out hive cluster to the other resource spot to the NorthWest. They avoided contact with the Supply Depot, still full of those forbidden metal wonders.

Bernie runs back toward the Terran base, hoping to murder some more. Scoutlord informs us that it is nervous about Bernie.

Ernie has scratched away its crude drawing and, out of boredom, sketched a Spore Colony in the sand.

We assign an otherwise idle zergling to attend to our itches. Overmind, but that's wonderful. We wonder if we could evolve a zergling specifically for scratching duty.

The screaming Terran isn't screaming anymore. Lablord informs us that it is being infested, but that without more overlords, our other research, like Burrow, will have to wait.

Also, as Lablord works on infesting the Terran, see if our massive psychic abilities can be used to penetrate the man's obviously-terrified mind and pluck through his thoughts.

Tell Warlord that he can have one fourth of our total worth (the same as Defenselord) to build up an army. Tell him to favor Hydralisk strains with extra carapace plating, as well as a couple mutalisks. Encourage him to be creative with mix-and-matching the genes of Zerg he produces for maximum effectiveness.

Warlord groans contentedly as its army--our army--grows.

The Terran's mind is awash in chemicals and hormones, all working on an instinctual level instead of the measured flow of a Zerg mind (well, except Bernie's). With focus, a basic reconnaissance on the Buzzer's Blades base is made. They seem very...basic. They don't even have their own spaceport, relying instead on transports from offworld every week. Lablord warns that too much psionic tampering could interrupt the infestation.

The zergling scratching our dorsal ridge is released from its duty and allowed to go back to the unassigned zergling group. We notice our carapace is somewhat constricting. Perhaps we shall reach our first molt soon. What a milestone!

Ernie has finished his Spore Colony picture in the sand. It is pretty good, for a zergling.

Accountantlord, Warlord, Scoutlord, and Lablord are all asking for more subordinate overlords in their own ways.

Bernie senses Scoutlord's concern. It makes a threatening sound. The Overmind's Eye hovers warily over us; Zerg should not harm Zerg unless it feeds the Swarm.

The Terran has begun screaming again. Lablord informs us that this means its infestation has reached a critical point: should we retain its mind for the Swarm and make it a capable warrior, infuse it with explosives and make it a brainless slave, or retain its mind and stuff it full of explosives?

Scoutlord informs us that Ernie, Eddie, Joey and Henry cannot venture closer to the Terran base without alerting the Terrans. Without a diplomat, that will surely lead to gunfire and blood. On the bright side, Ernie has begun to teach the others how to sketch a Scourge in the sand.

Warlord reports that it has developed a corps of hydralisks and a corps of zerglings, as well as assorted mutalisks. It anticipates that a strike through the pass to the South could cripple the Terrans immediately, allowing us to defeat them at our leisure.

Citylord has finished the Queen's Nest. A Queen is nesting, but she is very fussy. This may take a while.
    >> Researchlord 07/15/10(Thu)03:44 No.11145709
Right, quit meddling in the human's mind until he's fully infested and his DNA is in with the rest of the swarm.

Have Ernie and the three stealthy Zerglings perform the recon at night- what we know about the colony is useful, but it never hurts to see with one's own eyes. Also, have a similar team of four spawned with swiftness and agility in mind, and have them go check out the Supply Depot (Unless I'm mistaken, and the two are- in fact- one).

Also, spawn the additional overlords as requested. It's good to keep our underlings content and still able to expand. Speaking of which, I suggest we drop down an additional three hatcheries to REALLY get the production and manufacturing booming. We can always acquire additional minerals, after all.

Explosives. Just in case he gets in over his head. Either way he's not meant to be a combatant, so the explosives will probably never have to be used. Once that's done, we can use him as a diplomat and send in the calm zerglings behind him.

Also, just for the record, I suggested diplomacy in the beginning. It's probably not going to work but we're here to try different things, right?

Increase Warlord's funding to one-third total instead of one-quarter. Depending on the diplomatic process we may want to increase it to a full half, because the fastest way to handle this here is a decapitation strike.

Retain its mind and make it a capable warrior. We may not get a chance again to utilize a human test subject, no need to go blowing it up! Keep its DNA mutable, however, for testing purposes. Then scour its mind fully, for everything it can reveal to us!

Also, that tears it: I propose we have Bernie reassimilated in the spawning pool, broken down into his base genetic material. We can't have zerglings mouthing off to overlords after all!

Tell Scoutlord to draw our scouts back from the colony. The transport ship may pose a problem...can we determine anything about their defenses from this range? Or will we need to launch an assault (or diplomatic mission) to actually get a good look? My idea in mind is to somehow see about infecting the Terrans in bulk in a single night of kidnappings and outright wanton slaughter.

With extra overlords around, all of the managerial overlords are happy. Defenselord actually seems to be floating a little aimlessly.

Accountantlord informs us that we may have reached the half-way point for the main cluster's mineral crops. The secondary cluster is almost half-way gone, as well.

Citylord responds to our request for more Hatcheries by happily pointing to the two it recently mutated for us. What foresight!

Warlord speculates that we MAY have enough troops to cripple the front line of the Terran base, but still thinks we should use the pass.

Lablord has made the Terran into a diplomat, capable and strong-willed. It has taken the second-to-last free zergling to the Depot to scavenge. While Warlord protests that the Depot's security measures will alert the Terran base, Lablord is sure it can block the signal. Allow this to happen?

Eddie, Joey and Henry have learned how to draw basic shapes. Ernie is now trying to use its claws to sculpt part of the nearby cliff-face into the likeness of the skull it scavenged earlier. Scoutlord wonders if Ernie should be given some kind of busy work.

Bernie has run almost to the far West edge of our consciousness looking for unwary prey. A stray brontolith is dead between us and it. If we do not do something, Bernie will leave our minds soon. This would be the first instance of a Zerg leaving the Swarm willingly.

Have the DNA sequence we used to make him stricken from the Swarm's memory, and alert the Overmind about flaws in that particular sequence- WITH an apology attached for screwing up a zergling so badly.

Next, have Ernie keep up the artwork- tell the Scoutlord that so long as Ernie has access to the Creep to keep him strong, his curiosities can be indulged- he may even stumble onto something vaguely useful with his scratchings.

Allow the Terran to investigate the supply depot, and have Lablord AND a handful of the other Overlords work together to block the signal. If they can't block it, have Warlord launch an attack up the pass with everything we've got: The Humans will be quick to respond if they get an alert of shit getting stirred up by us.

Also, see if Defenselord can think of anything creative in regards to defenses. Maybe see if he can shape the creep in such a way as to create hillocks and other earthwork fortifications? Have Ernie help him if need be.

Elizabeth covertly informs us that Warlord is following too close for her to comfortably approach an enemy location. Warlord strokes her proboscis while she idles.

Ernie and Bernie both contain standard zergling DNA base code. If further mutation has occurred, they will need to be recalled to the Central Hive for analysis. This may or may not cause harm up to and including death to either or both of the zerglings.

Defenselord's tentacles begin to fuse with those of its subordinates. It hovers lower over its Spore Colony.

Citylord's tentacles begin to drag across the Creep.

Battlelord informs us that Ultralisks are available, and wants to know our policy on their use.

One of Lablord's lieutenant overlords informs us that it can modify the Creep to rise at the edge into a wall that may be impassable to Terran units (unless they fire upon it), but that doing so would decrease nutrient flow to outlying defensive structures. Basically, we would trade our borders' Spore and Sunken colony attack speed for defensive Creep.

Lablord's zergling idles inside the Depot, awaiting orders. Lablord is blocking radio transmissions from a silent alarm.

The diplomat is waiting for orders. It seems very, very distressed by watching Bernie's training sessions on advanced groin displacement techniques.

Bernie is very involved in training. The training disturbs us.

A probe of Defenselord's mind indicates that, while idling with so much subordinate brainpower, it may be evolving into a more powerful overlord...perhaps even a pseudo-cerebrate. Citylord seems to be beginning the same transformation.

Accountantlord has taken to hovering over the primary Hive as it commands its underlings. It informs us that we have harvested 3/4 of our minerals, and that our stockpile of resources is vast.

Warlord seems distracted in its work. Whenever we recall it from Elizabeth, it works for a few minutes, then delegates to Battlelord and seeks Elizabeth.

Bernie has ordered several hydralisks spawned with human reproductive organs for the purposes of its terrifying training regimen. The troops beneath Bernie are fierce, focused, and oddly focused on cock assault.

Ernie's zergling squad has burrowed down to a lower sedimentary level and mined convenient obsidian. They have begun to craft obelisks at each corner of the pyramid.

Lablord has ordered the Diplomat to the Depot to interface with the computer. He still limps from his injury, so he will be a while. Meanwhile, guns, ammo, and power armor pieces are being analyzed. They are designed for human physiology, but Lablord is sure it can alter hydralisk DNA to accomodate it, if given enough overlords.

Meanwhile we continue to SPAWN MORE OVERLORDS. Also when diplomacy fails, and it will inevitably fail, we launch a tidal wave of zerglings across the planet.

Defenselord is still fully under our control. We could cease its evolution if we wished. Do we wish it?

Warlord has completely disregarded its role as troop master, instead spending its time fondling Elizabeth. Elizabeth is no longer resisting. Citylord expresses some apprehension at the public nature of that activity.

Ernie's corp of artisan zerglings has choreographed a dance routine. Odd thoughts of black-and-white carapaces occur to them. Perhaps an Artisanlord is in order?

Bernie's training is fierce. Each troop is now spawned with a penis. They rotate between practice dummy and cockslicer, regenerating their junk between turns. Battlelord is concerned that this kind of ferocity might be counterproductive.

Lablord informs us that Diplomat can only access SCV and Marine Power Armor schematics without activating the wifi, which would allow the alert signal through. It has, however, adapted several hydralisks for Gauss rifle use.

What the fuck, Bernie. Who was it who ordered Hydralisks with penises again? When the training is done, what functionality will they serve in battle and for what purpose do these penislisks serve? Are they simply training dummies?

Order the penis-lisks into a fear squad with some of Bernie's zerglings to test out his techniques. While I agree with the cockslicing idea, I don't like this allocation of resources to penises on everything just for the sake of training when we could have, say, Ernie or lablord come up with a training dummy for cheaper.

Also, I am seconding the subsumation of the Bernie+Ernie consciousness into an overlord. There is some real potential there. Perhaps the initial focused attention has developed their brains some and they have become something more than mere zerglings? We were, after all, focusing almost all of our not-insignificant minds on the little guys.

The first twelve Gausslisks are completed. Lablord gushes as it describes that they can process materials from the Creep to create ammo; so long as they can resupply occasionally at the Hive Cluster, they can fire forever. The capacity for using the rifles has decreased the effectiveness of their spines, though. Lablord asks slyly whether Power Ultralisks appeal to us.

Bernie's platoon is sent near the front lines of the Terran outpost. As they approach, our psionic consciousness catches glimpses of their communications: the transport vessel arrives in two days, Major Carlston was caught with Private Wilson again, Depot #3 is offline (SCVs will get to it sometime tomorrow), and Harlan Jefferson is missing (horny bastard's probably trying to fuck a brontolith)...

Defenselord and its overlords have bonded together. Their mass heaves as it grows. Citylord has begun to fuse with its overlords.

Our new eye is still closed. Our tendrils extend outward for support and greater connection to the life-giving Creep.

Accountantmind has called its overlords to it above the Central Hive.

Excellent. Ensure that standard Ultralisk DNA records are preserved.

Manuever mutalisks and the main army to the rear pass. When in position have Bernie's group charge in and wreak as much havoc as possible. The main army then will attack with an ultralisk blitz covered by mutalisk dive bombers and supported by gausslisks and zerglings.

Warlord and Elizabeth are fusing during their...coupling. Overmind, but that's hard to watch from all three sides.

Lablord has begun to fuse with several overlords around the Depot. The Diplomat is still inside. Apparently, the Terrans are aware that the station is not responding. If we do not act soon, they will find out what we are doing anyway.

Bernie and his corps of dicklings and cockralisks have murdered a wayward firebat and done terrible things to the body. It is really best left unsaid.

Battlelord has massed its troops at the pass.

Ernie has moved his artisans to the East, where he got the skeleton that inspired him so long ago. They have begun building a likeness of a Xel'Naga being devoured by the primitive Overmind, an homage to the genocide that brought our race to its first peak so long ago.

Our carapace is so full! Our eye opens. For the first time, we see through our own eye! We feel the Overmind's distraction from us. It is busy directing Daggoth and Zasz toward the Terran Confederacy. It does not notice our growth.

Defenselord resembles our birthform now, looking more like a cerebrate than an overlord. Citylord and its overlords have combined into a mass of tissue, transforming. Accountantmind and its overlords are starting to fuse.

We do not have the power to defend ourselves at all adequately if the Overmind finds us similar in composition to its own physical body, and we don't know when it will once again swing its gaze over to us should we attempt a project of this sort. We sorely lack intelligence of many sorts, not the least of which any information about whether the big O has another cerebrate and its minions nearby watching us, perhaps spying on us.

The Overmind told us it was going away. We did not actually witness it. It may be a test of our loyalty and we do not wish to fail.

We now control three cerebrates and one...well...It looks like a cerebrate, but it floats through the air like an overlord, its bloated form dragging across the ground, extending the Creep where it does so. Lablord's mass has covered the Depot, and churns as it digests the metal, fuel, and the Diplomat.

We feel our psychic capacities expand exponentially as our cerebrates pledge their loyalty to us.

At our command, Battlelord and Bernie begin their assault. Battlelord strikes at the weakened mineral base, slaughtering. The Gausslisks prove themselves to be very versatile.

Bernie's side is a similar slaughter. His troops are ridiculously trained. They slice enemies to pieces, and take any break during combat to rape the corpses.

When the last Terrans cease resisting, Battlelord cordons off the remaining buildings (a burning command center, a ruined barracks, a pristine engineering bay, and a dusty factory which seems to have never been used) while Bernie's troops commit sexual atrocities against the remaining Terrans. The females are dragged to the Creep, with Bernie's assurances that they will be impregnated (if not the first time, then the second, third, fourth, fifth, etc) with infested seed. Carefully observe the results of Bernie's troops. Station Gausslisks and normal zerglings around the areas they gather under our direct control. If the breedings are successful we must test the spawn for adherence to our commands. New troops are of no use should they fail to obey us. If rebellion is in the making we will purge this threat.

Direct Accountantbrate to harvest the new minerals and have Citylord fly the Engineering Bay to where Labbrate is molting. The factory he should take for himself. Leave the rest of the base as a ghost town to fool the incoming dropships.

Bernie the zergling is absorbed back into the Spawning Pool, its ferocity and ingenuity infusing into the very genetic code of Cerebrate Anon's Swarms. This leads to permanent additions of sexual organs to all future strains of Anon Zerg.

As for Lablord, consult as to whether or not we can produce infested Terrans artificially at this point- if not, then try to see as to why we can't quite yet. Bernie's RAPE RAPE RAPE style may actually come into play here if we can infest the women- can you guys say "Broodmothers"?

In that same vein, have some zerglings scout through the various labs and the like, with Battlelord looking over everything. Spawn a few separate overlords for Lablord, and have them peek through the ruins. Also, let's get manual here: Plop down some hatcheries near the mineral field we just conquered, and have Battlelord bring the remains of the Terran collection units back to the central Hive. I suggest we have the eventual Citylord Cerebrate take control of the "Central Hive" we first built, and start from scratch with the area we just conquered.
