Cerebrate Anon was created by the Overmind to think in new ways. In time, it has grown to think as no Zerg ever has: for itself. It has crafted its own Brood, its own cerebrates, and its own Zerg. It has conquered two worlds, and integrated Terran science into its own biological mutation.

It has grown strong enough that its psionic emanations become impossible to ignore. While Anon consolidates its power on Xenta and its moon, Besilus, an invisible machine relays this data to its masters. A fleet stirs, weapons are charged, and Anon feels that its Brood is in danger.

    Unit Overview:
137,000 infested Terrans (non-explosive, most can pass for human, can infest others, but the infestation will be messy and noticeable)
60,000 fleshlings (horrible hybrid results of sexual unions between humans and Zerg, they can generate a small amount of Creep, but can't pass for human and are nearly useless in combat)
6,000 gausslisks (Hydralisks with Gauss rifles)
5,000 cockalisks (Hydralisks with human junk. That's where fleshlings came from)
10,000 dicklings (Zerglings with human junk. We had a zergling with an obsession. Just go with it)
2,000 Power Armor Cockalisks (They're harder to kill. Also, I imagine they look scary as shit)
50 Power Armor Ultralisks (These things are twice as scary as the Power Armor Cockalisks look. At least)
    Buttloads of overlords/drones
1 floating abomination -Warbrate- (Can fly, generate small amounts of Creep. Kind of a pervert, but good with strategy)
1 overlord who loves art -Artisanlord, formerly Ernie- (He's created a theater troupe on Besilus, and has taken up painting epic murals between organizing cultural events)
4 cerebrates -Labbrate, Citybrate, Defensebrate, Accountantbrate- (Labbrate is really excited to mutate us, Accountantbrate is grumpy, Citybrate thinks we should get rid of all the cocks, Defensebrate quit talking a while back and spends all its time focusing on its work)
5 Siege Ultralisks (Ultralisks with Siege Tank Guns on their backs. Untested)
Assloads of cloaking harnesses, allowing for brief cloaking of our units (untested)
An infested Command Center redesigned to have small defensive turrets and produce larvae (untested)
Assorted other goodies that I don't feel like listing right now.

600 scourge (with ability to dive-bomb land targets)
    20 jet-propelled overlords (untested)
    24 Terran wraiths (infested pilots)
Lots of Spore Colonies (Defensebrate may be quiet, but it's thorough)
    4 Terran dropships

Our senses feel psionic vibrations approaching from the skies. Artisanlord fears that the gods have come to judge us for our sins. Warbrate orders a jetlord into orbit to recon.

A fleet of three Protoss carriers, a wing of scouts, and three shuttles is hovering over Besilus. The jetlord doesn't approach close enough to detect any observers, for fear of its own detection.

It seems we have made first contact with the First Children.

As we consider our options, the Protoss act.

A beam of energy stabs across Xenta, burning across three of our Spires, where our scourge loitered awaiting orders. Three hundred forty-seven scourge, sixty-one mutalisks, and several nearby ground units are destroyed instantly. Another pierces across our Primary Hive Cluster on Xenta, incinerating three Hives and a newly developed Lair. Accountantbrate screams in rage. A third tears its way across part of the industrial complex of the infested Terran city, vaporizing three-quarters of our cloaking harness production facilities.

Our jetlord reports that the energy buildup within the carriers indicates that they will be able to fire again in a few minutes.

I vote we send out a wave of wraiths, then scourge, in an attempt to confuse them. Also, in the cinematic a combined attack of mutas and scourge ruined Tassadars day.

    damn this place is empty
well scramble all our air shit then

tell battlelbrate to spread the scourge and mutas out, ignore small craft entirely and focus on the carriers, have defencebrate aim the damn spore colonies and take out those scouts and any interceptors the carriers scramble
    >> Cerebrate Anon 07/16/10(Fri)23:20 No.11179424
    >>11179191
Our wraiths swarm into the sky, encountering the scouts in a measured formation. A heated firefight begins, as the jetlord notices what appear to be docking bays activating on the carriers. Smaller fighters are released from the bays, swarming toward the battle. We lose sight of the shuttles.

Meanwhile, we scramble the remaining scourge around the fray, toward the carriers. The interceptors scramble back toward the mass of carapace and explosive chemicals, tearing through them as our wraiths struggle to keep pace with the more advanced scouts.

A few minutes of frantic combat later, one carrier remains, crippled without power in orbit. Nearby, two of our wraiths are in similar condition, as one flees from the four remaining scouts, its weapons damaged beyond repair. We should decide where it shall run.

Our scourge are gone, their assembled remains no more than organic sludge in the space between wreckage.

Our jetlord senses life within the carrier. It could be possible to board it and capture a living Protoss.

(I assume you mean the final cinematic, where Tassadar's manning his carrier alone, deploying no shields, interceptors, or defensive maneuvering of any kind as he flies full-bore through a battle to Allah Ackbar it up as a suicide bomber? Hardly an effective measure of things)

Well lets get our war economy going, no reason to have the brates siting on their asses

have citybrate activate our larva and get some more scourge on the way(our advantage IS numbers and quick deployment after all so why not play to it) and have defence brate gather our gausslisks and hydras gather around the spore colonies then have the wraith pull some evasive manouvers and try to trick the scouts closer to the colonies, when they are in range have everyone unburrow an wreck the toss's shit

seeing as the damn groundies are being useless have scout lord and his cronies pan them out and search the planet thouroughly

then have ernie pack up his freinds (he is and overlord right?) and get them to the hive cluster
they are one of a kind artisan zerg and for the moment I dont feel like risking them unattended for some dickish zlots to bitch slap into oblivion

    >>11179547
Warbrate and Accountantbrate argue over the larvae, but in the end we set them straight, giving each half of the remaining larvae. We need the Hive Cluster, but we need scourge to defend it, too.

Scoutbrate coordinates a search of Xenta for the missing shuttles and their passengers, but we have yet to subdue even half of the surface. It will be tough going.

Artisanlord seems confused at his orders. Surely, our occupational force and defensive structures on Besilus make its minions safe? Anyway, it reminds us that its cockalisk poetry reading is in two days and a delay at this stage would ruin the whole event. It urges us to reconsider. Should we press the point?

Artisanlord fusses and procrastinates, but in the end its troops make the journey from its theater house on Besilus to the newly-reconstituted Hive Cluster on Xenta. Artisanlord muses at our suggestion that it record its works in books. It resolves to obtain books from what is left of our Terran city.

The last functional wraith leads the four scouts toward the Hive Cluster. Its fuel reserves are low, but it is saved from worries as our full complement of mutalisks descends on the scouts, rendering them into slivers of metal no bigger around than a human toenail. We briefly feel foolish for having waited so long to deploy them.

Several units load into jetlords and approach the crippled carrier. They board it and begin a deck-by-deck search for survivors. The internal damage is extensive. A single infested Terran is among them, for possible communications.

As the search of the surface continues, Scoutlord nervously informs you that the capabilities of the Xel'Naga's other children are unknown to us. There were three vehicles, but who knows what sorts of things could be in them?

The search of the carrier continues, as well. One comatose Protoss is captured and immediately taken to the Hive Cluster for infestation. The infested Terran reaches what appears to be the bridge of the craft. On a large viewscreen, a distorted image shouts, and a single remaining speaker relays its message: "Prelate Lesh'aan! Respond! Do you need reinforcements? Prelate Lesh'aan! Is it the Zerg?" As the Terran turns from the screen, he is beheaded by some kind of psionic blade. We lose contact with him.

All remaining units are redirected to the bridge.

Labbrate receives the first Protoss, and we overrule Accountantbrate's objections at it using the Central Hive (currently the Central Lair) for experimentation. Infestation of the Protoss was the Overmind's central goal in life, and its only reason for visiting the Koprulu sector at all. Studying this being must take priority.

    Labbrate's work begins.

Meanwhile, on the carrier, the bridge doors are cut away after they were found sealed. Two gausslisks enter warily, gurgling with anticipation of their prey. Our consciousness directs one of them to inspect the flashing red light on the command console. The core of the vessel has been set to overload! The Protoss commander is attempting suicide!

The scouting party leaves the bridge, searching frantically for any more Protoss. After a few minutes without results, an explosion rocks the carrier, destroying it. The shockwave kills two of our jetlords and sends one of the disabled wraiths into a terminal orbit.

Fleshlings take the lead in the search, their speed a match for all of our dicklings (by the way, all new zerglings and hydralisks are still being bred with cocks. It was discussed whether or not to remove them last time, but that was before we learned that fleshlings can breed with humans). Their advance creates an odd advancing line of Creep which retreats behind them as fast as it is spawned.
    >> Anonymous 07/17/10(Sat)00:27 No.11180350

<---- (To be fair, I'd be fucking terrified if this guy here were sporting a throbbing insectoid cock. That's some nightmarish shit, there)

We quietly remove the genitalia from our strains of zerglings and hydralisks, hoping that Warbrate will not notice until it is too late. It has been a little outspoken about the cocks.

After a few minutes, a fleshling wearing a cloaking harness is dropped nearby to the site of the violence. It finds the bloodied corpses of its comrades, but does not see any sign of the enemy that killed them. After a small bit of exploring, it comes upon a four-legged machine with pulsating electrical wiring exposed underneath it before a large blue crystalline structure. The fleshling approaches, safe behind its cloaking field, to investigate the oddity.

After a few moments' inspection, we realize that this is not a machine, but a cyborg: the motivating force of this machine is emanating psionic energy. It must be alive...or perhaps must have been alive. Meanwhile, a small machine has caused some kind of spacial distortion near the crystalline structure, then retreated. What should the fleshling do?

12 dicklings (sorry, the new breeds aren't quite ready yet), followed by 12 cloaked gausslisks, swarm the area. The four-legged cyborg fires at them with a blue energy weapon, probably the one that destroyed our fleshlings. They encircle it, tearing at its exoskeleton before more flashes of energy enter the fray.

Two dicklings fall before the cyborg does, its legs collapsing. We restrain the dicklings from their urge to tear the central part to bits, with its Protoss mind inside, and instead focus on the building nearby that spews blue energy on them. Just as it explodes in a brilliant blue light, the dicklings notice some kind of shadowy thing hovering in the air above them.

As the dicklings dissolve in a mist of blood, we trace the path of the shadowy thing from the eyes of the cloaked gausslisks. A huge thing made out of gold-colored metal crawls slowly and laboriously forward.

Labbrate suggests pulling back for the moment, in case the cloaking devices are not as potent as previously assumed. It was SURE it had the design right...

The Siege Cannon Ultralisks take up positions just outside what seems like a reasonable line of sight for the machine, using the cloaked gausslisks to see.

The machine is suddenly wracked by five powerful cannon blasts. It explodes suddenly (everything explodes in Starcraft). The gausslisks advance, and we wonder what they will find ahead.

In the foliage, though, the Siege Cannon Ultralisks whine. The cannon's concussive force seems to damage their bone structure as it fires. Labbrane estimates that the blasts will cause crippling spinal damage after a maximum of four shots, perhaps fewer. It is unsure if this can be rectified in future strains without compromising the melee strength of the ultralisks.

The overlords advance behind the gausslisks, revealing an aerial probe of some kind. The gausslisks make short work of it.

The Siege Cannon Ultralisks advance, keeping their distance.

As the gausslisks come to the edge of an incline, they see a shallow basin stretch before them. In it is a Protoss colony, expanding rapidly. More of the blue, crystalline structures float in midair, surrounded by towering structures, some with a platform out of which more cyborg exoskeletons and Protoss warriors descend, others large floating structures that are obviously draining energy, but not yet producing visible results. Two golden pyramids stand near mineral clusters as more of those small machines bustle about. In particular, the gausslisks note several of the cannon embankments their comrades encountered earlier. This base is substantially better equipped than we had thought it would be.

The attack begins suddenly. We worry about the sudden arrival of the carriers. Our mutalisks cloud the sky as they rush into battle, covering for their scourge brothers. Beneath, gausslisks and variant ultralisks thrash their way toward the center of the enemy encampment.

We attempt to restrain our minions, to leave as many Protoss maimed but alive as possible, but the carnage of combat is so intoxicating...the voice in our mind that was once the zergling Bernie whispers to us to slaughter them, to use the genitalia left to us to defile the bodies as they expire, then feast upon the meat until nothing remains. It is so tempting. We have restrained our blood lust for so long...Warbrate breaks from its trend of supporting Bernie-like ideas to advise against this. Blind violence, it says, cannot be the way of the New Swarm. Labbrate urges us to save specimens for it. Still, we can nearly taste the saliva of Bernie's mouth at the thought of this slaughter...

But we resist our own dark urges. We spare what crippled Protoss as we can. As the battle rages on land, the carriers are quickly disabled above. Unfortunately, the massive ships drop immediately from the sky upon their destruction. Directly beneath their flaming hulks is the land battle.

The Protoss buildings explode in blue flame as they are crushed beneath the weight of their own units. Energy cores detonate, and bodies are flung from the wreckage. We lose many units in the carnage, but the Protoss lose much more.

In the end, we capture many Protoss, but only seven survive the trip the Hive Cluster. We now have eight prisoners. Eight prisoners who seem completely immune to our infestation techniques. Our spores simply refuse to replicate in their flesh.

They did not yet understand the immensity of their foe, or its relation to the sudden halt of comm traffic of all Terran installations in the neighboring star system not too long before, as the Garm Brood had sprinted toward the Confederacy.

Well, if we had any nukes, we could work on that. I've got nothing against it, offhand. Of course, if you all play your cards right, we could eventually have carrier guns of our own, and then we'd be just as fuckyoufromspace as anybody else.

In the end, Labbrate concludes that any form of Siege Canon Ultralisk that would be viable will have to sacrifice its ferocious efficiency in melee combat, as well as perhaps its great speed.
