Give Honey the rifle, take the pistol and hatchet. We'll circle 'round and lure a few out toward the opposite hill.

Honey can pick off the stranglers who stay by the fire with their back towards her, then start in on those advancing on me. I'll get the rest when they come close, or once they've turned back to return fire.

(It goes without saying that the hatchet is a "desperate last act" sort of weapon.)

If we go this route, we won't be able to see 'em coming without giving away our position, and won't hear 'em coming 'til it's too late. We're counting on her to make that rifle sing, drop one or two, and give us the sign to start shooting.

I don't know about you guys, but in quest threads I always feel like I'd walking a line between dominating the planning and not participating, just because I don't know how many people to expect to chime in during the planning stages.

It was a gray antenna to better blend in with the background, but you are correct. The raider had some sticky-tack on his shoulder, and the Wanderer had some on his chest, with the antenna between them.

I used the same trick to make the zero-g scenes in Spaceman's quest.

I have all my pieces sorted into bags by type. Here we see wheels and propellers, white blocks, plants, and minifig accessories. I have the minifigs divided into five or six bags right now; all of the Spaceman Quest characters in one bag, Endman Adventures in another, misc. Photoshop. To do these captions, I just write the text, then make a box around the text on the base layer and delete it (background color is set to orange), then apply a two-point stroke. It only takes about two seconds to do a textbox.

This is /tg/ related. And even if it's a grey area, it's still something original, with effort put in, that the community enjoys. It helps boost moral.

Think about your job. Are the bosses who stick to the rules 110% of the time the ones you want to work for? Or are they the dicks who don't understand the need to adapt to the situation at hand.

Not all quest threads are good. It depends. Not all /tg/ related threads are good either. It depends on more than just direct relevance of subject matter people. It's about the people involved in the thread, and the tremendous number of unknown variables.

Don't hate on quest threads just to hate on quest threads. Embrace the potential of each subject. If you think it's not /tg/ related then MAKE it /tg/ related by bringing something positive to the table to make the thread better.

Stop the useless bitch-spirals and do something value added. That's all I would ask of you my friends.
