    In the last day, you have birthed yourself from your HOST, molted to maturity, discovered three EGGS and captured HOSTS for them all. In the last four hours your three siblings were born and molted to maturity, nourished by the WARM BODIES you collected. You are unable to rest easy, however, as there are many dangers and rivals to eliminate before your hive is secure. The first thing you remember is discovering an ENEMY HIVE when you were still a CHESTBURSTER.

    The WARM BODIES, though easily subdued, carry things that make VERY LOUD SOUNDS and VERY BRIGHT LIGHTS. The COLD THINGS that often travel with them, while inedible, also carry things that make VERY LOUD SOUNDS and VERY BRIGHT LIGHTS. Those too are easily dealt with, but your last encounter with the WARM THINGS exposed you to a VERY LARGE COLD THING that made EXTREMELY LOUD SOUNDS and EXTREMELY BRIGHT LIGHTS. So far you have avoided being injured by these things, but you restlessness drives you from the EGG CHAMBER in search of one thing:

    The poison tail is a holdover from a script from the first Alien film (I think, it MAY have just been Aliens) and the USCM Technical Manual. It was described as being able to secrete an extremely strong soporific/paralyzing agent, which was how the Aliens could carry off their prey and cocoon them to the walls without them escaping. To my knowledge, it's never been actively retconned, and it's been referenced in a number of sources; lightly hitting a human with your tail in AvP2, for example (as opposed to charging it up), causes them to stagger around woozily for a while. As far as I'm aware, Predators have not a fuck to give.

    Well.

    There are synths with pulse rifles (at least) guarding that entrance. We'd need a swarm of drones to push through that, and we only have two.

    Our options seem to consist of 1) lying in ambush and hoping that more humans are forced to leave their little base for some reason eventually, or 2) start working on digging a tunnel through the walls to punch through behind their defenses.
