    397 KB Retarded Peasant Quest, Part 2 PeasentQuest !!ICY6qHB4qVK 02/21/10(Sun)21:13 No.8213968
    Where we left off:
You were in the woods, pretending to be a wizard. When you returned to your village, it had been burned to the ground, and there were corpses everywhere. After using a dull knife to maul a restrained, unconsious woman you found, you decide to beat her to death with a shovel.
Then you loot the remains of the village, finding a senteint black orb, a good quality black cloak (rain-resistant), a black helmet (that allows you to see in the dark), a gold coin, a black crown, and some other stuff.
You have begun learning magic from the orb, but you have a long ways to go before you are an actual wizard.
As you were travelling on the road, it began to rain, and you left the road to check out a fire in the distance.
Turned out, some robed figures were sitting around the fire, and one was noisily eating something, and making all sorts of weird noises.
You decided to quietly get the fuck out of there, and continued walking down the narrow lane, towards the city.
You have been walking for hours, fueled by fear, from your encounter with the robed figures.
You feel tired, and hungry, only mildly damp, and only slightly cold. Your robe is dirtied with mud, from the couple of times you have fallen.
It is now dawn, and it has stopped raining.

Stumbling off the road, you discover a toppled tree, and under it's horizontal trunk, a dry spot on the ground.
Too tired to eat, you fall asleep immediately.
You sleep the morning away, and when you wake up, the clouds are somewhat less overcast, and you can see glimpses of the sun, high in the sky.

You wait as the large number passes by.
There must be at least a hundred of them!
After them roll a couple of wagons, drawn by large bears.
After they pass, you wait a while longer, before getting back on the road and walking towards the city.
The troops have stirred up the ground, and walking is difficult.

The cobbled streets are thick with fog. Everywhere, you see shuttered windows, and closed doors.
You seem to be in the merchant district, as all of the buildings have different wooden signboards.
You keep walking, until you see two buildings, one on each side of the road, with signs proclaiming them to be inns.
One of them is clearly doing better than the other, in terms of customers. The other's sign is worn, and the roof is missing a couple of shingles.

You take off the helmet and fancy hat.
You dig around in your bag for the crown, and place it on your head.
Immediately, you feel more powerful. The shadows around you, darkened since you removed the helm, look inviting and comfortable. You have a desire to spread darkness across the world, and bath in blood.
You feel the weight of the crown lift from your forehead, and the world suddenly seems smaller to you.
