ITT: suggest one action at a time to survive and build up our new village. There are no set rules, if you have an idea you want to persue put ***** before your suggestion and i will make it happen.

    location description -
To our far east is the shineing beakon of the Goddess Ulusus, to our distant south east is the deamonic realm now dominated by Shaboth the Fortold. Our small mud and grass hut is on the shore of the Hood ocean. The windswept beach is littered with rocks, tall grass plains are to our north east.

We begin as a youth that has left a small trading village in the north in search of our own start in life.
+ We have a small skill in fishing.

    3. Build a coop for our birds/breed more, better birds.

    5. Make a supply of spears with stone or shell or bone tips
    6. Build a few coracles for fishing.
    7. Start building up supplies for (and planning) a windmill to process any grains in the future.
    8. Investigate logistics of a possible palisade wall in the future.

It is my understanding that the ancestors can influence the skills of an individual for a brief moment. A particularly skilled potter ancestor gifts the potter with a new design, a particularly brave warrior ancestor can be called upon to bolster the fighting spirit, skill, and pain tolerance of a warrior in a time of need.

First, put out all the fire! then set about finding stone, then everything wont set light incase this happens again, set to ensuring everyone is well tended for by the remainder of our tribe (btw, what % got deaded?) including healing, food, rest whatever. we need to consider a funeral of some sort for our dead kinsman, i vote NOT burning, that would be slightly odd, given the circumstances.BUILD GLORIOUS MONUMENT TO STONEMAN.

My theory, the warriors HAD to die, for their immediate influx of energy to the spirit world was the deciding factor in the spirit magic.

We can work great miracles, but only in times of noble sacrifice.

    - the emmisarys of Shaboth did not aproach our village again. The stone never came back to life. It sits as a monument to the strength and honour of our ancestors,

We will forever tell stories of Ehx P'hert - father of the village and defender of our people.

I was going to try to steer this settlement towards tech instead of gods, and early mechanical engineering. But starting at the tribal one-man level, it is just too much of a stretch of the immagination.

(OP here it dosnt have to be an elemental settelment each and every time, you could litteraly begin praising an apple, and i would make the settlement reflect that visually, although i dont know how much clout the village would have worshipping something like that..

but i made up Shaboth on the spot when people wanted to build a deamonic shrine, you can suggest other gods or powers there no limits, for instance next game we might all decide that the only way to fight evil is with evil and worship Farnorg the Destroyer, slayer of Amen Theek, may his mercifull skinning knife cut true and fast... etc

anything we come up with will influence the world we choose to create our next village in.. this runs the risk of serious evil just stumbeling into the town though.. as seen in this case.

there are shrines to tecknology or simply come up with an idea how to boost our teck quickly, most of these posts are no more than 20 or 22 actual drawn posts.

that gives you a scale of how quickly we need to act to get somthing advanced developed.

tbh, by the seaside theres just too little stone and minerals to warrant any sort of tech that the denizens of /tg/ would likely aim for. also, a world map + ability to have some decision on a games start (place, number of people, degree of pre-game settlement, etc) at some point would be cool, if you do continue to do these threads OP, since 1-man starts have to have a long lifespan to develop far.
