ITT: suggest one action at a time to survive and build up our new village. There are no set rules, if you have an idea you want to persue put ***** before your suggestion and i will make it happen.

    location description -
To our far east is the shineing beakon of the Goddess Ulusus, to our distant south east is the deamonic realm now dominated by Shaboth the Fortold. Our small mud and grass hut is on the shore of the Hood ocean. The windswept beach is littered with rocks, tall grass plains are to our north east.

We begin as a youth that has left a small trading village in the north in search of our own start in life.
+ We have a small skill in fishing.

    - as fast as they were slain they are back on their feet, standing hunched and smuldering, their eyes are embers, they lurch foward toward the town stone circle.

    - the women and children are huddeled below the central stone, they claw at the rock to help them, plead with their ancestors to return and defend them..

    - the rock shudders and cracks through the middle.

there is a sound, low and thunderous.

It is my understanding that the ancestors can influence the skills of an individual for a brief moment. A particularly skilled potter ancestor gifts the potter with a new design, a particularly brave warrior ancestor can be called upon to bolster the fighting spirit, skill, and pain tolerance of a warrior in a time of need.

    - the emmisary glides sickly above the ground his feet swinging in the air he sees the town stone circle, a sick smirk of yellow teeth stretches across his blackened face.

    - the women and children are holding each other as they feel the hot wind as the emmisary approaches, his arms outstretched.

    - A there is a thunderous crack as the center stone of the circle splits down the middle, Unfolding from the stone like a sleeping mountain begining to wake.

    - the wind changes direction, a cold wash of light emplodes from the stone.

    - the emmisary is blinded jus as he is about to reach down and slaghter the woman and children, he is swept up by an enormous mound of earth and held thirty foot in the air.

with a crunch the emissary is no more. As the bone crunching noise splits the air the embers in the walking deads eyes dies away and they collapse into burned husks.

(OP here it dosnt have to be an elemental settelment each and every time, you could litteraly begin praising an apple, and i would make the settlement reflect that visually, although i dont know how much clout the village would have worshipping something like that..

but i made up Shaboth on the spot when people wanted to build a deamonic shrine, you can suggest other gods or powers there no limits, for instance next game we might all decide that the only way to fight evil is with evil and worship Farnorg the Destroyer, slayer of Amen Theek, may his mercifull skinning knife cut true and fast... etc

anything we come up with will influence the world we choose to create our next village in.. this runs the risk of serious evil just stumbeling into the town though.. as seen in this case.
