You've arrived at the market, and are checking out the stalls. The crowds are middling thick, but they make way for your guards, as Sarah asks her way to the first stall on her (rather long) list.

Pic is you visiting James in his quarters. He's got better living conditions then you have at home.

    1
    > I assure you, milady, that runecrafting is just as much of a science as alchemy is. Allthough I suppose you get pretenders in both fields.

    2
    > "i am a man of science, but we cannot deny that magic exists and works for that path leads to blindness"

    3
    > We could tell her about the incident, only that it's a ring of... charisma? Social interactions? Ring of warning?

    4
    > "Science is experimentation, my dear. I can't just refute a theory just because I'm sceptical, we have to test it first. But, beyond the merits of runecraft, the man is a fine artisan."

Too organized for simple snatch and run. It's probably the insane nobleman using a local gang or two as contractors for the abduction. Maintain plausible deniability, I suppose. Inside man possible, but I would not put too much thought into is. More likely the stall itself was bait to draw Sarah there. If we hadn't been there, and thus James as well, the guards would have left Sarah alone near the stall to deal with the visible bandits and the abduction would have gone without a snag.

The Guards have differing amounts of sucess, two managing to get minor cuts on the enemies, and put them on the back foot, one managing to finish his opponent off. Doobs however runs though like a maelstrom, attacking their turned backs, running each of the remaining guards through in a single motion. Thread's been archived. Rearchiving it will update the thread but this should be done sparingly. The maps by the way, are absolutely fantastic. As for the dice mechanics, they're not bad but I do prefer the old system. But, rolling for each character is much better.

Map could have been better done, it was too big, most of it got no use and it was generally too vague. I like the idea of a map; maybe a sort of basic grid system, at least?

New combat system is nicer in terms of not getting all our guys killed instantly with shit dice, but does drag on a bit.

    >>9421652
The map was awesome. I wasn't a fan a of the new rolling though. /tg/'s dice are bottom heavy as can be seen in all the 1s littering this thread. Rolling small dice just makes it more pronounced. I also didn't like how random it was.

I'd prefer something more like Combat skill + 1d10 to determine how combat goes. Kind of like how the haggling system worked.
