You are the Crab King, a gargantuan crab and the ruler of Crustacea, the great crustacean empire. You are thirty-seven feet wide, not counting legs, and your burnished carapace shines with glory! When we left off, you had just defeated Blasticlaw, leader of a resistance movement within your kingdom! There are still six rebellious territories left to deal with. I will post the world map in a sec.

    >> Crabmaster !vuOBu6g15U 04/25/10(Sun)19:29 No.9427934
Your coral shielding is beginning to grow, but has quite a way to go before it coats your IRON LAIR. The Wavemaker is most pleased by it, however.

The local territories have shit for defenses. As you have seen, they are very open to attack. IRON and BONE or CORAL may be used to create palisades or walls.
    >> Crabmaster !vuOBu6g15U 04/25/10(Sun)19:32 No.9427992
Your subjects in the provinces are more than willing to take the fight to the rebels that followed the late Blasticlaw. Their low intellect makes them very susceptible to your will, and it enrages them that any would insult the Crab King.

Expect fierce fighters, but few rebels leftover for questioning if they go in leaderless.

Your troops charge with you at the entangled sharks. One manages to get away, but the other two are held fast! They snap and struggle as your troops engulf them like an angry tide, punching and clawing their way through their hide!

One is killed, the one you grazed earlier, but the other manages to escape with only 5 HP left! The two sharks are now circling above, searching for an open area in the kelp.

Pivoting on your POWERFUL LEGS, you knock the chieftain with your LOBSTER CLUB into a rock wall. His carapace shatters, and a mixture of blood and gore escapes his broken shell. He is sufficiently damaged to be considered out of combat for now.

The lobster attempts to escape, but it is of no use! You swing it around, throwing it at the group of warriors around Klawdia. They scatter like bowling pins, and the giant thing lands a mere five feet from your veteran! It appears to be unconsious.

History is written by the victor. You instruct shrimp scribes to write of a valiant chief that was led to a pitched-battle through folly.

Your subjects lead the lobster back to the LAIR. Klawdia is picked up also. You stay behind to tend to the repairs. The Wavemaker shakes his head above in disgust, but applauds your responsibility.

But these crustacean cultures don't seem to have actual MONUMENTS of worship. More like a tribal/clannish teaching of religion.

Shootrimp appraises you when you return to the LAIR.

According to him, all of the settlements he checked were empty again, like all the others. Tracks led deeper into the reef, but he was unable to follow after being attacked by a particularly large shark. He says it was about forty feet long, with jaws capable of swallowing ships! Scars covered its snout and flanks, also.

There were a few corpses in each settlement, however, meaning they left recently.

here is just my crabby idea on how to deal with the whole rebel idea

Take one of our most trustworthy loyal tribes and have them rebel, we stage a attempt to subdue the tribe but fail. This maybe might gain the attention of who ever is the leader of the rebel crab tribes. This leader would most likely try to communicate with this "rebellious" tribe. Have them gain as much information as they can was we prepare to wipe out all the rebels with one swoop.

The Blasticlaw that we felled in battle was probably a decoy, a lowly Lieutenant. I found it rather suspicious that Blasticlaw would be seen on the field...looks like we more SPD and LRC in the future.

Find some squid, slaughter them, turn them into chum, and let the scent waft slowly into shark territory. It'll incite a huge mass of sharks, that we can then blow to hell with the IRON LAIR's guns.
