The basic premise: You started out as a generic creature with no voice, no skills, feats, or special abilities whatsoever, and every stat at 10.

Whenever you eat a creature you acquire one of its traits. Permanently. For the purpose of this quest, that means I'll give you a short list to choose from.

You've been getting shit done, nomming citizenry and animals for two nights and part of the day in between. You've got a better body and some gear as well. You also have an ally, a novice human wizard named Claire whose place you're staying at. You've agreed to have her test your running out for a partnership in her courier business. But that's after noon, and that's hours away, you just woke up and you're feeling a bit hungry again.

What is your plan of action?

Getting out of bed and your gear on, you smell food from the kitchen. There are some scrambled eggs--and no shit, waffles--kept heated on the stove with a note by them. Claire seems to have already left for her courier duties.

For food that isn't fresh meat, this is pretty good.

Enter the sewers through an alleyway grate, or any other means?

Or, you don't have to enter the sewers. Short-term suggestions from last thread included hitting up a stable again or doing reconnaissance on high-value targets.

    >A few people you think you recognize as being below you during the rooftop leaping point and talk between themselves as you go by; Claire doesn't seem to notice, still seemingly wrapped up in thought.
This is a little worrisome. It was bound to happen, though. If we're going to be known in this town as Mr. Roofjumper, we'd better keep our devouring habits to the darker hours.

Then again, with a payed job comes money we can spend on small furry noms to tide ourself over until night falls and we can eat the flesh of the sapient.

Planned? I don't plan plot ahead of time, just setting details and timed setting events--lets me give max player freedom that way. Glad you're enjoying it. It's fun to run.

    >Can't we just change our shape to something like a mix of what we ate?
This happens automatically. The more humans you eat, the more humans you'll look like--but the same goes for any other creature. You look mostly human right now, if a bit odd. You can eat someone to specifically reset your appearance to theirs in lieu of another trait.

    >Also, if we specifically take the shape of someone, is it added to our repertoire (Like voices), or does it still shift around depending on what we eat?

It's a reset. You can't normally mess around with your appearance much beyond eating things. Once the reset occurs, you'll have automatic adjustments applied as usual.

Now, if you eat something that's able to change shape and steal that trait, that's a different story.

    >What did we eat to get that gliding membrane?
A bird, not large enough to give you actual wings.
    >> /ts{z/ 04/25/10(Sun)23:01 No.9432202
Hmm, if we weild our cricket bat (read: club) with two hands, we can deal 1.5x Str damage. 1d6+6 instead of 1d6+4 is nice. Good for easy-to-hit things with lots of AC. Our dagger is better reserved for things which are harder to hit. If we throw it, we'll get +7 to hit, 1d4+5 damage. Go Point Blank Shot!

And don't forget we can bite when we make a full attack. It's at a -5 penalty, admittedly, but it's a free attack and we should make sue of it every chance we can, as long as it won't be seen by witnesses.

Because /tg/ will never agree to take someone's appearance when they have other awesome abilities. It will go like this:

"okay guys take their appearance and nab the other party members" "okay"
YOU CAN CHOOSE FROM AWESOME ABILITIES, OR TAKE APPEARANCE
    "whoa, check out ability 1"
    "want ability2"
