Ok, lets get a Brikwars thread going.

I wanna hear about your greats moments, those times you told the odds to fuck off and go home because they had no place there with you.

I want your favorite units, the most dashing heroes, the massive rolling death machines that have yet to taste defeat, that terrible thing that you have yet to unleash upon the unsuspecting world.

I want you to regale me with tales of battle, conflicts that shook the very foundations of the world, the fights that left red transparent swaths across uncounted floors and kitchen tables.

I wish to hear of your greatest strategies and tactics, how you run circles around the other guy then leave him too dizzy to realize he's dead.

Let me hear your tales of gore and glory /tg/.

it was a Space Marine captain, high on Lho Sticks and drunk on some crazy Tau drink, being pestered by a demon of Tzeentch, who was trying to turn him.
Anyways, his back story was that he had captured this demon in a glass of water. How he managed it, he didn't know - all he knew was that he had done it.
However, he drank the glass down in an effort to cure a hangover, and he was granted the power to alter water at will. Hence, he could summon a goddamned Leviathan.

In the beginning, The Dread Pirate 2x2 created the Baseplates. Now the Baseplates were flat and empty, and forged of the finest ABS plastic. And the Dread Pirate 2x2 said, "let there be studs!" And there were studs. And the Dread Pirate 2x2 saw that they were good.

And the Dread Pirate 2x2 said "let there be Space! And let there also be Castle, and let Space and Castle be the greatest of the themes! Let each of them bear Minifigs so that one day brave heroes will arise that they may wage glorious battle on the Baseplates that I have made! And it was so.

And The Dread Pirate 2x2 made the multitudes of Minifigs that would roam the Baseplates and He made vast kingdoms for them to live in. And they were awesome. And He saw that they were awesome, and there was much rejoicing.

I made a GIANT MECH with the hero as the pilot, lined with redshirts maning the guns along its shoulders, multiple escape pods, detachable and fully independant limbs, a some weapons platforms.

The thing was a little over 2 feet tall.

Fucking snipers raped its shit, but being able to break apart its limbs into tanks, and leave the chest as a weapons platform helped.

Head was, of course, a jet.

No. Its got a lot, more then you will probably need, but not enough to rebuild the old sets.

Do not be so quick to judge. Megablocks are, of course, shit tier but that should not stand in the way of glory! Show him his ignorance on the field of battle!

Also: It could be worse, at least he's using blocks.

It will always look intimidating to start with.

First, i recommend looking at all the pictures first, and reading the interesting looking bits.

Make sure it is Gnarl's voice that reads in your head, with brikwars this makes the rules 8 times funnier.

Later, go over the more complex bits and get completely confused, then go to a friend who know's gaming, in lieu of a friend who is familiar with tabletops come to us! or, even better, go to the brikwars forum!

Brikwars is a great game to get into tabletops with because if its very light rules, and the rules that let you say "FUCK THIS SHIT. THIS IS HOW THIS WORKS, BECAUSE I SAY SO!".

Just remember not to take it too seriously, especially with brikwars.

I was quite proud of the swing-down canopy, actually. And the "drum barrel" grenade launcher attached to the rifle on the left arm. It doesn't actually rotate, but I think it looks neat.

Side-by-side comparison. The helmet is from that underground miner thing they did awhile back, I never liked most of the sets but I quite liked the helmet.

The only major differences since I took these pictures are that I re-did the top and back of the thing - swapped out for some of those curved white bricks to make it look more stremlined.

Anyone have any ideas for improving the legs? To be painfully honest, they're shit, but I can't come up with anything better. I'd love to have a leg design that a) can take the weight of the thing, and b) actually can connect with studs. This thing has flat feet - it looks horribly awkward on a studded surface.

Is this Stormtrooer WITH A REAL GLITTERING CHROME ARMOUR awesome enough?

They have lego, but not tons of it. But flipping through the rules this game seems to be totally random to some extend which would fit well with our sense of humour.

Maybe I'm being a little bit nostalgic here but most of the newer sets seem to be pretty bad compared to the old stuff.

    Nice Storm trooper.

Personally, I was not exposed to a lot of the older stuff, so my opinion is rather biased.

I really like the vikings, castle is pretty awesome, Atlantis has provided me with some... very interesting resources and i find it awesome in general (i need moar crabs), and the Star Wars sets are pretty damn cool. Well, except for the cartoon characters wandering about.

    Answered your own question.

Its all of a sudden the massive fights your minnies had (which you really enjoyed) and the building you loved (and lets face it, you always will) suddenly have tabletop rules (which you have more recently began to enjoy).

I'm willing to bet that the moment you have them all together you subcutaneously just start playing with them, sitting on the floor, surrounded by lego, drowning in nostalgia and childlike whimsy.
    >> Anonymous 05/16/10(Sun)18:54 No.9859203
About the legs, I think I would try to change two things:
    - Try to move them to the side of your mech. Personally I think the legs shouldn't touch and be separated by one or two studs.
    - Maybe it is an option to make those legs longer by adding another of those parts you use for the legs? So that you would end up with something similar to the legs of an AT-ST. In that case you should be able to bow the feet parts so that they could be placed on studs.
    >> Sasha !ApPkmtJbAE 05/16/10(Sun)18:58 No.9859288

    893 KB
but...wheels would take away the whole "mech" idea! I know it doesn't work for real-life stuff but this *is* LEGO.

It depends. That one was pretty dinky, but a lot of the Star Wars stuff is sex. The LAAT (that gunship/dropship from Attack of the Clones) was complete and total badassery - I can fit something like twelve or thirteen stormtroopers into the hold, more if I modify it to remove that speeder-bike taking up a good chunk of the room.

Pic of the pilot with a few of the grenades to give a size reference for them. I think if this weren't LEGO they'd be nasty-looking things, like a fist made of lead with a rocket stuck to the back end.

Bottom of the pic is the "rifle" from the left arm. damn that's a long thing, now that I think of it. It's supposed to be a railgun of sorts.

Vikings, Castle and Atlantis are too "new" for me, I guess. By looking at some of the newer models I just get the feeling that they are using more and more parts that will be pretty useless if you want to build something else. Maybe this has changed lately again. I haven't really bought anything during the last years. The army men from the new toy story stuff seem to be really nice.
But my favourite setting would be the Western one.

Close-up of the "Scorpion" main battle cannon. Fairly simple, but I love this thing - it's big hunk of nasty with an armor-plated shield stuck to it. The cylinder hanging off of the bottom can be removed, too - I had this mental image of a hailstorm of white-hot death from the cannon, and as it cools off...K-CHUNK, and it dumps the spent capacitor so a new one can be swapped in.

I do need to try to re-vamp the cockpit too - the problem with doing this bit-by-bit is that I really am having trouble figuring out how to give the pilot more headroom. I'd love to be able to fit a stormtrooper in there.

Moving them to the sides might help...I would like to avoid making the legs any longer, because frankly, this thing's a top-heavy son of a bitch as it is. I would like to give it much thicker legs front-to-back if I can figure out how; I tried those clicky rotating joints from some of the other mecha LEGO sets but those took up way too much space.

Aliens before Mars? That'd be the Insectoids; I think of the Exploriens as human, though that's debatable, I suppose.

    It's LEGO, sense doesn't matter.

But, I'll rationalize it for you... It's used on the moon, so there's no mud and no sound. They're in spacesuits, which are specially designed to easily brush dirt off of. And there's a holographic display for full 360-degree vision. There you go!

Sort've, an armed soldier aboard a naval vessel is not necessarily a marine. Marines were traditionally armed troops meant solely for fighting boarding actions and acting as garrisons in faraway naval stations. As time marched on boarding actions and the like fell out of favor and marines became exclusively ground troops, with the exception that marines are generally delivered directly into combat by the navy. Of course the navy still maintains specialist units for things like underwater demolitions, boarding hostile vessels, and naval special operations (all shipborne armed soldiers) who are technically not marines.

And, of course, any regular sailor who crews the ship is not a marine. AND THIS CARRIER IS CREWED ENTIRELY BY SPACE MARINES

True, but with the definition I know (Royal Navy, Royal Marines), soldiers that are stationed aboard a ship are almost exclusively Marines, unless it's transporting troops for deployment - it's kinda in the name.

    >Marine: A member of the military in an infantry or amphibious force under the authority of a navy, or in several cases, of an independent amphibious force.

I have sadly only ever played one game purely because me and my friends had lego but no built army and it was kind of a spur of the moment thing we grabbed boxes of lego we had at each others houses and came back just started to build.

Player 1 - his army consisted of very few incredibly large space ships. That's basically all he had.
Player 2 - his army consisted of this demented assortment of random shit we're talking robots riding horses armed with muskets to skeletons driving these open top gunnery trikes.

Player 3 - this was me, i decided to make an airborne army which was a mixture of ww1 planes with lasers and for my hero unit i had this 'helicopter' which was this rather large construction that was shaped something like a watermelon and had about 8 helicopter propellers on it [so 16 blades just to be clear]
Player 4 - this was my ally, he had line infantry. That was it. This bastard just turns up with a box fucking FULL of the napoleon era musket guys so he ended up borrowing some of player 3's random shit and built these really odd looking mecha

Okay so as i said before player 4 was my ally, we decided to do a 2v2 since we weren't really sure how a FFA would of worked which is what we were planning on doing. The game look designed for 1 faction vs another. We each drew out a shitty little banner for each of our heroes and just gluetac'd it on and we were ready to fight!

My god the first round was retarded, the line infantry were shockingly good, managing to blow quite a sizable chunk out of player 1s FLAGSHIP. The rest of the game was a mixture of 'FIRE MAIN CANNON' from player 1 and 'LOLWAT' from player 2 as his trike things just drove rings around the line infantry chucking bombs and firing lasers at them.

The showdown was inevitable, after about 3 turns of faffing about player 1 decided to finally fire his main cannon at my main ship. I managed to counter it with 'PROPELLER SHIELD ACTIVATE!' the following turn i just charged the bastard down. Now I'd designed this ship pretty much for the sole reason of trolling the shit out of player 1. Since this ship had 8 god damn propellants it dealt 8 damage straight off whenever i collided with something. I passed a little note to player 3 for him to volley the flagship with his line infantry before i made my charge.

His volley was pretty 'meh' did a bit of damage, nothing too serious, I flew at the flagship and opened fire with about 4 chainguns and then did a bombing run over the top of him. Then I just dived straight down.

    [final part]

CRACK, the last 8 points of damage was more than enough to knock down his flagship. Our turn finished and Player 2 then performed his Stupendous Feat to 'jam the controls using an EM attack from this bizzaro robot thing that had 6 legs in a ring around it so it sort of rolled about.

'Well good luck with that' was player 1s first retort as i failed and my controls on my flagship jammed. Going straight down. The size of my chopper was big enough to land onto a sizable section of player 2s army. When the last turn rolled around player 3 just opened fire with another volley killing the last of his army and his hero. I decided to sacrifice my ship by dropping bombs when it was mashed into the ground exploding everything around it, we house ruled a bit of damage to the remaining skeletal knights that were remaining and poof, game was up.

Shit was pretty cash, i think if we were to do it again we might do either a space based one of a mechwarrior type one since blasting bits off the models was pretty damn fun.

Playing with my brother and two friends. We form two teams - the scenario is a pirate attack on a stronghold. I and a friend hold a stronghold, bro and another friend are the pirates.

The map is kind of large and takes half the room. The bro takes over a cannon and says he wants to shoot at the fort. We're kind of dicks, so we tell him he must aim manually. He does.

He shoots my hero across half of my room. Instantly dead since I rolled badly.

Has anyone experimented with trying for truly plausible minifig-scale ships?
The one thing that I've never really seen is a ship that you could expect a minifig to truly walk around in - it's always just disconnected cockpits and maybe a bit of space for cargo. Even with the LAAT, the closest it comes to that is the drop bay - the pilot and gunner are still in their own little closed-off space.

/tg/ is truly badass under certain circumstances. Really glad to see this thread's still around!

Inspired by the folks here yesterday, I stayed up 'til 5 AM tinkering with my li'l mech. (Okay, I couldn't sleep, but I blame that on the Legoes too.)

I re-built the legs entirely; instead of that fucked-up hip assembly that doesn't really do anything, I now have two of those click-ratcheting joints at the hips, and another pair going into the feet, so it now has two axes of rotation at each joint.

I have the supplies to add another joint, but I want to keep this mech short and stocky-looking.

I also redid the back a bit, repurposed one of the "socket" pieces as an engine.

In order to prevent the new hips from screwing with the arms, I had to make the body of the thing 1 thin piece thicker - I took advantage of that to change up the front a bit as well. I removed those red-cylinder chin guns and replaced them with a bit more armor plating that I think improves the look.

My major problems now are that I would like to come up with different weapons to swap in and out of the mech, and I would really like to swap out pieces to make the colors more uniform. I wouldn't mind swapping out the orange for white entirely. Also, while I rebuilt the legs a bit, I couldn't work out a good way to re-do the feet - they're still essentially the same.

The plural of "LEGO brick" is "LEGO bricks". Most people are just dumbasses who use "a LEGO" and "the LEGOs" as proper names.
    >> Anonymous 05/17/10(Mon)10:27 No.9873161
LEGO, if used as a noun, just refers to the company.
LEGO can also be used as an adjective, like in "LEGO bricks" or "LEGO pieces".
Thus, if you want to refer to the bricks both "lego" and "legos" is incorrect.

So I found out about this fucking game about 8, maybe 10 months ago through /tg/, and immediately went nuts. The fun of playing with LEGO? The tactics of WARHAMS? The sheer unbridled nonsense of acting like a kid again? SIGN ME THE FUCK UP. So what do I do? I tell my D&D group about it, of course! And as expected, they all get excited as hell, and are all about it. We finish the session, and I make plans for next week.

Next week, however, when I show up with THE BOX (My son's LEGO sets, as well as the stuff he inherited from me) everyone is just kinda "meh" about it, ending in a decision to "just play D&D." I'm fucking FURIOUS, because I was hyped as hell, and all they want is the same old hack 'n' slash, but I figure fuck it, no use trying to play a game with tools who aren't into it, and DM the session, ending it a few hours short, out of frustration.

I dump the box. We decide a quick and dirty game is best, fuck balance, fuck equal parts, fuck all of it, the only balancing factor is equal amounts of minifigs, chosen along a theme so as to make players easily recognizable.
We put all the bricks into a pile, shuffle thoroughly, and then cut the pile in half. Space, Aquanauts, Castle, even a couple of the Bionicle sets and other stuff from my son's collection, all mixed into a heap of chunky goodness. Then the teams: 5 figs to a man. I go through the 25 or so figs and pull my old Aquanauts out, Then steal my niece's Anakin Skywalker just for the fun of it. My brother-in-law spends about 30 seconds looking the line up over before deciding on... My son's spongebob figurines. Patrick, Ms. Puff, the yellow fucker himself, and two random figs with plant life on their heads. ("they're sentient anemones, FUCK YOU") I laugh, thinking he's way further into his cups than he's been letting on, and go with it.
We set a timer for 20 minutes, saying it's set in an underwater apocalypse scenario, mankind versus mutated wildlife, etc. At the end of the timer, all structures/vehicles must be used as is, and any bricks left loose are "rubble." Any two red pieces directly connected are considered explosive, (red barrels, 2" blast radius, 1d10 damage) and single red bricks or studs with anything resembling an antenna attached are remote mines (1" radius, 1d6) beyond that, all figs have an instant kill threshold of 5. Any less, and they shrug it off
like the hardcore motherfuckers they are. Each team gets one hero with a threshold of 6, and all actions committed by heroes are d10, not d6.

    It's unorthodox, but it works.

Same with the light artillery piece here-- normally, people would just use a regular lego cannon from a pirate or wild west set, but this guy made one from scratch using cylinder bits, and it looks pretty decent for it.

The minutes passed like seconds, both of us lamenting the state of our devices, but agreeing to stick with what we had said. His half of the table was heaps of rubble everywhere, one FUCKHUGE vehicle with a battering ram nose, a completely enclosed cockpit (with Hero spongebob at the wheel) several compartments with unknown contents and release levers (patrick was manning these) and THREE FUCKING SETS OF WHEELS. If you've never played, you don't understand just what this means... that fucking super armored beast could move 15" per round. One quarter the fucking battlefield. Combine that with the ram/rubble plow nose, and there was nowhere I could hide.
His remaining pieces had been used to make anemone-manned turrets (houseruled to double the range of regular guns, but immovable) providing cover for his "Repair pit," a walled area full of useful pieces, and manned by Ms. Puff, who was armed with a cobbled together suicide bomber vest and a wrench. (houserules everywhere! starting the game with a wrench set the fig as a mechanic, able to add pieces to vehicles/structures twice as fast as a normal fig)

My side was a mish-mash of maze-like walls, carefully placed mines (out of sight of both my opponent, and his figs) 3 aquanauts hiding in cover with harpoon guns, one aquanaut in the "control center," a heavily armored bunker from which he could set off any of my mines at any time, and containing the controls to the bionicle six-shooter cannon mounted on the roof, and finally, Hero Anakin in a huge, heavily armored, 3-legged bionicle walker monstrosity, armed with two giant blades. (2d6 damage each)

I'd, personally, rather Napoleonic Wars simply because they could make more sets. French, Austrians, British, Russians, Prussians, ect.

I guess most of us don't have the amount of bricks to build the things shown in this thread.

Judging from the pictures I would say those are the normal rifles (introduced with the Western series if I'm not mistaken) with one of those little silver knives attached to the top (introduced with some underwater set?). The piece that is used to connect the knife and the rifle is one of those technic parts.

But American Civil War sets could offer just as great a range of models as Napoleonic Wars. While yes, the ACW span all of Europe, the variety of uniforms and units employed by both sides is spectacular in the variety of uniforms used. I'm rather fond of Zouaves, myself.

    As you wish.
We roll for turn order, My brother in law getting first. It takes me about 3 seconds to realize my shit is about to get wrecked. Approximately the time it took him to measure the 10" from the nose of his plow to the outermost of my defensive walls. He mows through 2 inconvenient heaps of rubble, and slams head on into brikwall #1, behind which were 2 mines and one Aquanaut. One very very dead aquanaut. Emboldened by his opening strike, my foe announced that his other fig's actions were "fire into the sky menacingly" and "cackle maniacally."

My remaining hunter aquanauts, hearing the sounds of their comrade's death, move from their hideouts, attempting to flank.
Anakin, enraged that fucking MARINE LIFE would DARE to slaughter one of his subordinates, begins stomping in his general direction, huge blades waving.
My controller, from his armored shelter, saw the whole thing on his screens, and hit THE BUTTON. THE BUTTON being the catchall for mine activation.
BLAM goes one mine, doing nothing to spongebob's pain train, thanks to the rubble now piled atop it.
KABOOM goes the other, directly beneath the center of this fucker's tank. I announce MY action as being maniacal laughter, until I see the look on his face.
    "roll your damage, fucker."
So I do. I roll hard, and roll... a 3. I groan, sure that I didn't even blow off his wheels, when he leans forward and SNAPS THE FUCKING TANK IN HALF.

I have no better response than WAT.
He looks at me, holds up the two tank pieces upside down, revealing that he had connected two large pieces with nothing more than two 1x3 planks. I start to laugh at his stupidity, when he turns the back half to reveal a FUCKING HIDDEN STEERING WHEEL IN PATRICK'S COMPARTMENT. He'd been planning on separating them all along. I had never before and have never since uttered a string of capital F's like I did at that moment. All my mine had done was save him the action necessary to pull the lever to divide his attacks. And divide he did.

"The Golden One," as he began to refer to him, wrenched his vehicle sideways and went streaking down a wide corridor with his 2 remaining sets of wheels (10" movement) barreling away from the sword-mech, and toward a flanking aquanaut. Meanwhile, Patrick took his drag-assed cart, and rolls over the rubble and back out of my fortifications, then does a 360 to "taunt your mech." Back at base, Puff does something to a control panel, the effects unknown to me, and the anemones sit anxiously atop their gunner seats.

Anakin, moved to rage by the audacity of this fucking pink starfish, goes stomping after him. The aquanaut at large goes at a dead run to the bunker, my pre-decided meeting place, hoping to man the big gun while my controller handles the mines. The fig being pursued by the front end of the tank gets the same idea, and books it through the narrowest corridor he can find. The controller sits, and calmly watches the carnage.

With Mecha Anakin crushing a path towards him, the relatively unarmored Patrick flips. My bro-in-law pries the containers off of the back of the cart, placing them randomly behind it. "Dropping ballast to gain some speed" he says to my puzzled look.
"You do realize speed is based entirely on the number of wheels, right?"
"...Shit. I take off anyway." And he begins dragging ass back to his base, presumably to have Pit Crew Puff weld on some new wheels. Spongebob is busy ramming his plow into the thinnest, least protected portion of my defenses, trying to get to the escaped aquanaut. Puff is "Pressing Buttons", and the anemones are getting a bead on my mechstrosity.

Arrogant fucker that I am, I presume things are going my way. My controller, observing squarepants' ride getting deeper and deeper into piles of rubble, J-J-JAMS THE BUTTON again, blowing up that entire fucking quadrant of the battlefield. I grab a handful of d6s, mocking my foe, and lay waste to everything. Everything but goldenboy's cockpit and wheels. FUCK. FINE. Anakin, a mere 15 inches from patrick's now unarmored ass, strides forth, ending just out of slicing range, but no matter, I'll have him in a few seconds. My aquanauts are scrambling, one now at the foot of the ladder to the mega turret on the roof, the other a short step behind.

The next few moments were painful. Like, "Fuck you, gimme that fucking vodka" painful.

"Hey, those boxes near your mechs front leg, open them for me, would you?"
I reach out, and careful not to move them, open the doors (window shutters, nicely done, I think) on the closest one. 4 fucking mines inside, each with an antenna.
"Go ahead, open the rest, I think they're all within an inch of that front foot."
Eleven, total. ELEVEN FUCKING MINES. I took the time and measured, just to be a dick, and only 8 were within one inch exactly, but it didn't matter. My so called "bro" holds up his hand and hits an imaginary detonator.
    "Click." That motherfucker.
The entire bottom half of the middle leg on my mech goes out. Not wrecked, GONE. My one consolation is that the whole mess fell forward, the cockpit crashing onto the rear of the starfishmobile, rendering it useless.
"Can I roll to hit my ejector seat in time?" I ask.
    "Only if I can."
We both succeed, he ends up catapulted into his own base, while Anakin is cowering behind the remains of his battlesuit, the anemones chaingunning the other side into slag.

I'm so busy pondering where to run I almost miss what he said next. In a perfect spongebob falsetto, I hear: "Fire the ROCKET PLOW!" Followed immediately by a less than perfect, but still understandable Puff impression: YEEEESSSSS! HAHAHAHAHAHAAAA! *BEEP*

I look, and see a straight line from the nose of the wreckage-mired tank to the fig at the base of the ladder. 8". Plenty of space to spare, considering the rockets he revealed attached to the rear of the plow. RIP, aquanaut #2.
I go to move the remaining fig, when I am forcibly reminded that the verbal command to fire is not an action. Spongebob cruises through the gap in the rubble left by the flying death plow, coming just short of my remaining freestanding fig.

Time for one more quickie. Walking out the door, see you in 30.
Alone, armed with nothing but a harpoon gun, and facing down imminent death from a armored vehicle piloted by a bloodthirsty sponge, My remaining aquanaut did the only thing he could. He stood his ground and fired squarely at the pilot.
Another note to those who haven't played yet, Brikwars uses the "Exploding dice" principle. If you roll max, you roll another die of the same size and add it.
"I level my harpoon, and fire."
No amount of plexiglass, armor coating, spare studs, or faith can protect a man from a big enough crit.
One short argument and a WHAT I SAY GOES roll later, a die is rolled to decide spongebob's postmortem reflexes. He slammed his foot on the brakes. The mangled charred bumper stopped 1/2" short of that brave fig's face.

Anakin, still pinned behind the remains of his walker, has nowhere to run. Even if he does a direct sprinting retreat, the two turrets are on either side of the suit, and get a crossfire zone about 3 inches from the safety of my outermost barrier. Inventiveness time, bitch. Anakin pulls his lightsaber and MELTS OFF ONE OF THE MECHS REMAINING FEET, turning it into an improptu tower/blast shield, and wades out into the hail of bullets. Meanwhile, with the ladder to the roof destroyed, and no foes left in our territory to threaten with my mines, My controller settles into the gunner console, bringing the huge turret on the roof to life with a menacing grinding noise. A single shot is let loose at one of the gunners, and goes wide. So wide, it hits my brother-in-law in the cheek.
    "What the FUCK was THAT!?"
    "Umm... an ICBM?"
"No fucking way. That is way over the 10" for mounted ranged weaponry."
"And I have to fire it by hand. Did you SEE how far I was from hitting anything? Hitting the table, even?"
"...fine. But you only get those six shots."

Puff and Patrick, hearing the reports of BattleAnakin's approach, are scrambling like mad to piece something together out of the remaining spare parts in the garage. The anemones never let up, firing non stop at my improvised shield, praying for a big enough hit to take it down, but none comes. I spend the next turn describing the screeching clank of metal on stone as an unstoppable Jedi shoves a vertical plate of steel forward into a literal shellstorm. Deep in his bunker, Controller Chuck lines up another cannon blast. Wide again, but closer now. And Aquanaut #3? He wipes the panicked sweat from his brow, and goes about dragging the punctured corpse of his foe from his shattered seat.

Pretty sure we're already autosaging. Here's hoping brikfag gets back before this shit vanishes. I HAVE to hear the conclusion - namely, Harpoon Jones saving the day.

Sorry about the delay, refreshed the thread to see my lone aquanaut just got fucking knighted by /tg/, and had to edit appropriately.
With the shield jedi nearly knocking at their door, aerial bombardment from afar, and their fearless leader incommunicado and presumed dead, things turn dire in the bikini bottom bunker. The gunners, still firing mindlessly, can't seem to do anything more than slow down the force-powered wall of steel, and the parts scattered about the floor are only meant for repairs, not base construction, even if they had the time. Puff grimly hands her wrench to Patrick, telling him to do what he can to stop the vile surface dwellers... and walks toward the door, vest detonator in hand. Patrick, deafened by gunfire and still in shock from his earlier ejection, begins cobbling together something clawed and vicious.
Back at aquanaut base, Controller Chuck pulls the trigger on another cannon blast, AND HITS. No casualties, but a huge chunk of wall not one inch from the east gunner goes flying. Harpoon Jones, hands shaking, drags the squishy mass of spongebob's corpse out of the pilot's seat, tossing it aside like a ragdoll. Wiping the slime off of his hands, he settles in, kicking it into reverse and sliding through the hole in the rubble the rocket plow had left earlier. Grinning viciously, Anakin inches ever closer to the west gunner. Just a few more steps, and he can just melt the fucker's face off. Just a few more... WHY IS THAT HATCH OPENING?

My brother in law lets out another falsetto shriek.
Ms. Puff, laden with red blocks and studs, moves her 5", coming as close to Anakin as she can, and detonates.
I won't quote the dice here, but with a 2" blast radius, and 5 separate bombs, well, you get the picture.

Sir, would you mind taking a pic of Harpoon Jones for us? Or at least describing him so that the drawfags may work there magic?

All in the new thread of course, this one is heading gracefully toward its inevitable death.

Thank you by the way for gracing my thread with your vast amounts of win.

Not for much longer, it would seem - we appear to be autosaging, alas.
