You and the crew managed to repair the hydro plant in six hours and took a well earned rest in the emergency storage room, after barricading the entrance to be safe. Juan woke you up around 5 AM because a raptor had found it's way into the plant and was peeking into the room.

For repairing the hydro plant, you get a skill point.

    Vehicles [Basic]
[You can also suggest another Basic skill]
    or
    Any Basic Skill [Specialty]

You can upgrade a [Basic] skill with a [Specialty] in that skill, as per the following examples.

    + Mechanics [Automotive]
    + First Aid [Lacerations]
    + Athletics [Climbing]
    + Dinosaur Knowledge [Specific Species]
    etc.

[Basic] skills are not required to attempt actions (i.e. you can still drive a car under normal circumstances without Vehicles [Basic]), but it will make more difficult actions easier to attempt or lessen penalties or failures. [Specialty] skills further this.

With all the running around we do, Athletics might be a good choice for the skill point.
The other option is more into firearms, since we might be in a fight.

I think that right now, Athletics might be more important.

If we left the fort, could we shoot through the opening in the barricade if a raptor is visible?

With the help of Emmanuel and Juan, you manage to get your arm back. The raptor is joined by two others, who are now trying to push the barricade over.

You move back and leave them to attempt to tranq the other raptors, the one you tranqed is now passed out with its head in the hole in the barricade. You take a look at your arm. Definitely dislocated. You could make a First Aid check to reset it, but you could also make it worse by doing so.

It takes a bit of work, and a lot of pain, but you manage to work your arm back into its socket. It'll be sore for a while, but you can use it. Once you get that done, you realize something. That raptor ate your tranq pistol.

Juan and Emmanuel have managed to tranq one of the raptors as it was getting ready to charge, but the other one has its head in the hole and won't let them get a shot off.

No, Management doesn't trust us; we should tell Muldoon, though. He believes us, and Management will listen to Muldoon.
Besides, remember, we're still under suspicion of having sabotaged the park due to the Head of Security's machinations, so we don't want to call any more attention to ourselves than necessary.

Either way let's put out the fires and see what we can do about the generator

random maintince worker is under suspicion, not anyone in specific.
also we have no way to get in contact with muldoon without going through management or maintince.

Okay... let's have some breakfast and come up with a course of action with the guys.

Get a fire extinguisher and put out the fire.

    >>14244518
Which is why we're getting a DRT to come here. Once here and they have the raptors secured, we can have them get on their radio and talk with Muldoon directly.
We know that Muldoon will take immediate action; we don't know if Management will even listen to us.

Also, check the last raptor, see if it's breathing or not.

Once we put out the fire and see about whether we can patch up the gas tank.

Uhg, reach into the Dinos mouth and grab the gun. Also that fire isn't really looking to good... Maybe see if the crew can put it out.
    >> Emergency Chair Warmer 03/14/11(Mon)22:07 No.14244611
You have those fire extinguishers in the Explorer you could use to put the fire out.

You reach inside the raptor's throat and pull out your tranq pistol. Must've gotten it lodged in it's windpipe and choked. The last raptor is breathing heavily, seems to be out like a light.

Alright, tell Juan and Emanuel that we're going to get a fire extinguisher from the Explorer.
Us our floodhat, and make sure that a tranq dart is in the chamber before leaving the building.

Fine, let's try the buddy system.
Emanuel is still trying to coordinate a DRT to come pick up the raptor, right?
So it'll have to be Juan. I hope he knows enough English to get by.
    >> Emergency Chair Warmer 03/14/11(Mon)22:20 No.14244782
You and Juan head up the stairs, finding both the door to the lobby and the door outside open. The Explorer is in bad shape. It's got dents everywhere, the windshield is completely shattered, and the plexiglass has popped out of the frame and is sitting in the back seats. There is a dead pterosaur on the roof of the car with it's head in the hole where the plexiglass used to be.
    >> Anonymous 03/14/11(Mon)22:22 No.14244798
    >>14244782
Damn, I'm glad that we didn't try to spend the night in that car. What killed the pterosaur?

Anyway, none of the damage sounds like it would stop it from running. Let's get rid of that body and get it set.
    >> Anonymous 03/14/11(Mon)22:26 No.14244839
    >>14244798
Probably trying to shove its head through a car windshield.
Let's clear the body out and see if the car's still functional.
    >> Anonymous 03/14/11(Mon)22:26 No.14244841
    >>14244782
Dinos really are stupid. You would think that, since it's unmoving and big, that a dino would just assume that it's a rock while parked.

Anyway, our first priority is to get those fire extinguishers and put out the emergency generator. Let's go and do that.
    >> Anonymous 03/14/11(Mon)22:27 No.14244863
    >>14244798
I suspect it was trying to get in the car and got stuck in the poorly patched hole in the window after this happened its strugles must have attracted the raptors which probably killed it and smashed up the rest of the car in the process
    >> Anonymous 03/14/11(Mon)22:28 No.14244872
make a mental note to tell dispatch and Muldoon that the tranqs are killing the animals for some reason

    Blunt force trauma.

You dump the body off the roof, it's surprisingly light. You're grabbing the fire extinguishers from the Explorer when a set of lights pulls up. It's the DRT crew from the windmills.

    "Heard you had raptor problems."

"Good thing we barricaded ourselves in the supply room. Them trying to break down the barricade is what woke us up.
"We tranqed one, and another ate my tranq gun and choked on it; stupid dino. The third one was getting through, and it must have OD'ed, because it's not breathing anymore.
"And hey, I thought all of the raptors were accounted for. Or could these ones...you know...have hatched outside the labs?"
