!!O+eQDn0BBx8 04/09/11(Sat)21:44 No.14538287Deciding to check back in after the three of them have put their plan into motion, you move instead to the godly damnations hanging over the Partihian Empire. Close inspection reveals four separate curses and two boons, proving that the gods are, as always, a bunch of infighting curs. The boons come from Vaul and Hesperax, while the damnations come from Parthos (from which the former Parthian Empire took its name), Sylvus, Korvus, and Illistria; both lists in order of strongest to weakest.
Vaul you have already researched, and it seems he has either not forgotten the worship Laressa once paid him or approves despite being forsaken. Hesperax is the human Crone Goddess presiding over the domains of Hierarchy, Order, and Forced Submission; it is fairly easy to see why she granted your elf’s empire a boon.
On the other side of the coin, the four gods and goddesses who have laid curses upon it are the human god Parthus, god of Light, Defense, and Honesty; Korvus, dwarven god of Industry, Invention, and Crafts; Silvus and his wife Illistria, elven god and goddess of Light, Right to Rule, Warfare, Strength, Creativity, Forests and Fertility, Family, Freedom, Growth; respectively. Parthus’s curse seems especially vindictive, and will fall most heavily upon Laressa and her soldiers in the midst of battle. |
