A few ways. If this is your first time, maybe you should just scan the pages as high-res images and upload the whole batch at once, then let someone who knows what they're doing take it from there. It might be easier than trying to do the conversion yourself.

AK is very lilzy when making your factions but shite when trying to work out what the fuck the author intended a rule to mean. All the Peter Pig rules are the same, terribly written. Great range of minis to go with these rules though

You put in in a .rar and you upload it.

    honestly there isn't too much,

just put all the images in a folder, .rar that folder and upload it to mediafire

honestly if you wait for us to explain it to you you could probably figure it yourself.

if you already have winrar or 7zip installed you can probably just right click on the folder and the menu will give you the .rar options.

2009 edition AK47 is about 130 pages long and ridiculously clarified.
There is next to no ambiguity about anything.
Rules are nearly all written like this. Short statements for maximum clarity. Charts used throughout for layouts. Seems a bit too formal/demanding at times. A lot of 'The Player(s) will' in rules for determining set up and similar. It works though.

    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Viet_Cong_and_PAVN_logistics_and_equipment
    >Tanks and artillery. Fighting a mobile guerrilla war much of the time, the VC/NVA could not deploy large quantities of heavy artillery or tanks. Exceptions were the set piece siege battles such as at Khe Sanh or heavy artillery duels against US batteries across the DMZ. It was only after the shift to conventional warfare in the 1972 Easter Offensive, and the final conventional campaign in 1975 (when US airpower had vacated the field) that tanks and heavy batteries were openly used in significant numbers. When using heavy artillery, the VC/NVA relied on high quality Soviet-supplied heavy 120mm and 130mm guns that outranged American and ARVN opposition.

130 pages? Wow, didn't realise it was that long. Will have to have another game with it at some point, its first impression wasn't great with me but I could try it again.

One of the things about the original rules is their 'pick up and go' style, I ran an introductory game for some friends, by the next game they didn't need any help. Easy to learn, easy to play.

It does lengthen it somewhat with the rules actually being spaced out for readability.

Also a lot of army lists. Well, Army restrictions with special rules and incorporated 15 days to war events tables for those armies.

Also by the look of it they made the events a bit more balanced. You make an army list and large amounts of events end up dumping things in reserve, bringing things back from reserve and giving bonus markers to be used. You may not get all of it on the table, but your army won't expand past your initial size.

Yes. If you want to do big battles that is. It's one of those games where each base of people is meant represent a whole mob, and is designed to fit that rules-wise. If you want something a bit more skirmish-y, there are more suitable systems.

I think Battlefield Evolution is still around as a rules set despite the failure of the attached miniatures side, not too sure about many others though there should be some good things here:

Also, a couple of old AK47 campaign sites to inspire future campaigns of your own:

    Dictatorship List

    Political points: 90

Unit 1 (professional) : 4 small arms, unarmed APC, new towed gun with tow - 144 points
    Unit 2 (regular) : 2 armoured cars, 1 RCL on jeep - 100 points
    Units 3 (regular): 6 small arms, 2 RPGs, 2 trucks - 100 points
    Unit 4 (regular): 3 mortars, 1 truck - 100 points
Unit 5 (militia): 2 AA mounted on truck

Strategy-wise, this is a fast army. Hold objectives with unit 1 & 3 (hopefully get a professional upgrade in the flowchart to upgrade unit 3, two upgrades and unit 2 as well). Mortars pin enemy infantry, armoured cars/RCL jeep hunt enemy armour and hope to hold off all those that would oppose our glorious regime! Oh yeah, and hopefully the militia AA can kill something...

Attack helicopters are damn annoying, always picking on my poor militia mortars. That heliborne Commander+friends also looks like it could be a nuisance as once you've stuck him in a template there'll be no way to shift him short of killing the entire unit.
