Grogar awakens from a short slumber, he feels invigorated with godly power, he decides to further envelope the world. However he notices a desert expanding in the world, this angers him as naturally deserts are the opposite of tundras. In his frustration he cleaves the land in two, effectively cutting off the desert from the other land. He the blows a cold air upon the land, creating tundras.

The Ivory Teeth, on behalf of Bo'gash, administered the growing Gabu from their temple of Gashuni at the edge of Xuhanuin. Each priest, in the manner of Cuxah, passed on his knowledge to the next, establishing a dynasty of mystic knowledge. However, they still lacked the true ability to manipulate the elements, until one day, one of the high priests requested Bo'gash for an audience.

"Oh Great Spirit, though I am still young by comparison to my masters, I have seen terrible visions! The lands to the North grow ever more volatile! Even the snakes to the West with their tree of power may prove powerless against such a force. How can we hope to defend our home?"

Bo'gash pondered for a moment, his essence turned inward.

"Though the land under that taint refuses to give life, there is a way to redeem it. Just as I have infused vitality into this land, so to shall you and your descendants. I will grant you the power to warp water, shape rock, and craft fire; with it, you can call upon your ancestors long returned to my essence for guidance."

Overjoyed with the news, the high priest summoned the rest of the Ivory Teeth, and, with blood-filled bowls, partook in a ritual that bound their spirits closer to Bo'gash and the aether.

"Go forth, and tell the people what you have learned."

With their new abilities, the priests scattered across Xuhanuin, performing great miracles with their gifts. Broken huts were thatched from thin air, virulent wounds were cleansed, and floods were curbed. These wonders reminded the people of their creator and protectors, shaping their minds in unity and strength.

However, not all was joyous. The frontiers of the swamp, still unguarded, was a growing problem for the Ivory Teeth and their visions. Through their fears, they saw that invaders ranging from green-skinned warriors on strong creatures and the dead themselves would stalk through, destroying Gabu villages and spawning pools in a rampant attempt at conquest. Rounding up their greatest warriors, they crafted a group of guardians to serve as the first line of defense against incursions. Their jobs were silent, sulking in the water like a predator waiting for its eventual prey; as such, they were titled the Still Water.

Bo'gash, watching his people grow, filled his heart with pride, for his people would soon shine as a becon of power in the world.

Moving to the city of Pantheon, old Asyl had one last thing to do... leaving the book so it can accomplish it's role to their first owner.

With this goal in mind, he soon used the book's power to share stories... thing that may have happened, thing that will be, too... stories that sounds like legends. The thin individual knew how to use words and to spead these, and made sure he had soon a group to follow his way, much like bards or skalds. After some time, he would leave the Book of Legends to the one he knew had it in the past...

Meanwhile, Belnan still had some work to do to get things started. Shaping the world once more to finish setting the stage of his story, he installed a frozen forest near the city from the future.

It was before the edge of the swamp that the Naga chose the place where they make the call. With the knowledge, that the Gabu could tolerate no strangers on the swamp, the druids made their call where their tails could not touch the hunting grounds of the Gabu. And the call was not one made with words that anyone could hear but one that could only be feel in the movement of the water or in the whispers of the wing. They could came slowly at first suspicious of traps not letting themselves be see in the hiding places of the swamp, but as the approach call by their own connection to nature the shamans of the Gabu knew there was no trap lay here to make prey out of them. They were call here as equals standing before line where both territories could meet with such call stealth was unnecessary and so they move themselves in open were both sides could see each other. Both sides were equal in number by fate of the gods or some strange coincidence, not a word was spoken until both sides were both a few feet away from each other. Only then did the oldest of the Naga spoke to the clear leader amongst the Gabu “The land and nature knows us both as its children, take this fruit as our gift to you and let us be known as brothers.”

Grogar watched as the world grew older around him. The blight to the north ever-expanding south, this concerned him but reassured himself that he too would be enveloped in the ice...

The sister island to the Sakens homeland changed with time, it wouldn't be long until a civilization would form. Grogar noticed that a foreign man came to Pantheon holding an ancient book. The Saken were intrigued by what the man had to say, and some even went so far as to follow the man. It would seem that an order had formed. It wasn't long before the man left and without the book. One of the Saken was ellected leader of the Keeper Of Legends. Grogar wasn't to be bothered with this for now, he would deal with this at another time. Some Saken spoke of a God named Belnan, he was supposedly the writer of history, Grogar was curious about this God and talked with him. He asked Belnan what his inentions were. Belnan told Grogar that he meant no illness, the conversastion ended there. Grogar had never been one for communication...

He made sure that Thornak, his avatar, would keep a watchful eye over The Keepers Of Legends.

Grogar decided that it would be best to form an order of Saken to rule over their civilization.

He sent down a sword from the skies above, a sword made of pure ice. It was harder than crystal and sharper than a razor. He mad sure that a Saken found the sword. It was quickly encased at the centre of town at a altar. A religious order was formed around it. The order of the Sacred Sword. It was comprised of ten holy Saken. These ten men formed a council that ruled the Saken civilization. Grogar was confident that this would thwart off corruption.

He wasn't done yet however, Grogar had managed to generate a significant amount of power over the last few decades. Grogar changed the Saken, he made them more resistant to cold. They had already been resistant but the weather still was a burden, and they could not perform tedious tasks or fight in such conditions. Now the Saken could fight and work better than other races that were in such cold lands. Something else surprised Grogar however, he didn't notice it at first, but once the Saken had been changed Grogar could feel a magical pressence in the land...Almost as if the Saken had enchanted the land. Further inspection revealed that the Saken unknowingly enchanted the land; Grogar came to the conclusion that changing the Saken had tapped into the magical power in the island somehow. One thing was certain though, the enchanted isalnd made it harder for deities to alter it.

Grogar watched Pantheon, he contemplated what the Saken were missing, then he realized...
They needed a wall! Something to protect them from the harsh outside world, a wall that could serve well incase of a siege.

Grogar ordered Thornak to instruct the city folk to erect the wall. Soon the city would be surrounded by a stone barrier, this pleased Grogar.

Bo'gash knew the day would come when his people would have to meet face-to-face with outsiders; strange peoples with different skin and thoughts. Still, he imparted one lasting impression upon his high priests: "Do what is necessary for your people..."

With the meeting place decided, the Still Water were surprised. One of the scouts, breaking his stealth, approached the group as they stood on the first solid patch of land for miles around. His gaze flickered across the strange folk, their forms grotesque and unnatural to him. The Naga's chief druid delegate, infusing her words with the power of nature, spoke:

“The land and nature knows us both as its children, take this fruit as our gift to you and let us be known as brothers.”

The Gabu examined the fruit with apprehension. Truly, it felt softer than any grass or more pleasant-smelling than any fruit found with the swamp. Confused, the scout searched for words.

"...I...I do not speak for my people; I only watch." Storing the fruit, he beckoned the strange visitors forward to the swamp to meet the high priests. And so, the Naga delegation traveled for many days through the Gabu murky heartland unharmed.

On the ninth day, they laid eyes upon the city of Xuhanuin and the grand temple of Gashuni. The delegation was immediately beset by the town guard and, in a similar manner at the border, offered the strange fruit to the Gabu. Before the situation could progress, one of the high priests approached the group. Using his shamanistic powers, he manipulated his words to that of nature, so that he too could be understood.

"You have journeyed far from your home, little snakes. Why have such prey traveled so far to the den of their predator?"

The Gabu Still Water scout, peeling from the crowd, approached the high priest, whispering in his ear the events that had transpired. The high priest grasped the fruit, feeling it.

    "You...offer your competition sustenance?"

The guard tensed at the high priest's next words; their spears and clubs ready to slay the soon-to-be-pelts. With a slight squeeze, the high priest danced the fruit in his scaled hand, conferring with the ancestors.

"...you wish for us to make peace?" The high priest tossed the fruit in his hand, judging its weight. "...you have shown great bravery venturing this far. For this, we will let you leave with your lives..."

The guards lowered their weapons, granting the delegates breathing room.

"...as for the fruit..." The high priest took a bite, smacking loudly. "...we will have to repay the favor some day..."

And so, the Gabu were forbidden to prey upon the Naga who happened to wander within the swamp without reason or necessity. The high priests, seeing much use in the fruit, gathered their minds and crafted a new use for the fruit: cultivation. With the seeds from the World Tree, they developed the incentive to grow certain plants for personal use.

The end of the First Age for the Gabu was heralded by their first fumbling steps into diplomacy.

Legends were talking about trees of incredible proportion, even said to hit the ceiling of the world at time! Interested by this, some members of the Saken decided to look for themselves.

    They were not disappointed.

The wood here was tall, and sturdy. Perfect for all matter. Even more, it isn't lacking and soon, the first settlers would install themselves in this place.... and upon visiting their new land, would soon come across the timeless city. A wonderful place to get started and a nice port city to make the exploitation of this somewhat rough land.

With time passing, adaptation would make the native smaller, better suited for climbing mountains and trees, as the climate is also a little more convenient. They would also start learning from the Selenian palace about... what exactly? The strange language seemed hard to understand... and yet, it seemed to talk about eternity, cycles that always go back and forth...

The Storykeepers, the order that developped from the first skalds, started to spead around, and installed themself too in Selenia, directing the study of the wall scriptures. One day, they will be able to decipher it entirely. From the first part they understood, started to arise a group believing in the Moon's powers, the most proeminent symbol around.

These knowledges, incidentally, came back to Pantheon, which soon found out an interesting use of the strange language and, more particularily, from some ways it was written of the wall, in a pure metal from the nearby mountains. It seemed to conduct the will of men in it, when concentrating enough... it would be soon used to create the first runes, symbols of power and magic, a way to make the words come true.

Unrelated to this, Belnan worked on another story... one that was tying reptiles together, either in glory or shame is up for the future to tell...

A Gabu and a Naga, once, were both hunting the same prey, oblivious to each other. Soon, they both reached out it and found... a magnificent creation. This creature was at the same time vegetal, animal and mineral... a walking force of nature! But they soon entered the copetition to be the one hunting it for themselves. However, all their attempts were void and after two days, none could win this match. Then they went both after it... it was a sight to behold, the fight of nature against it's creation. In the end, the hunting duo won...both decided to share the story of this strange partnership and soon, words began to spread that the two races were together the master of Nature. It wouldn't take long for this to be heard across other continents...

Nzrqnr felt it... the posturing across the sea. The terrible presence of mortal life and the bonded strength far to the south across the ocean brought Nzrgnr a dread in the pit of its being. To the East he felt the chilled wind of a tundra entombed land. He let himself wonder how many he would have to send to endure that cold in order to end the mortals living there. Until then... He would scar this world if need be to fulfill his will. He rose more terrible blighted mountains around the island and spread the corruption of Blight across more of the island... it seemed uninhabited by mortals.
"A pity..." Nzrqnr thought. It would be some time before he felt the joy that came with wiping out an entire civilization.

However his remorse was soon overridden by a twinge of curiosity. He had unearthed some sort of route, crafted eons ago, to the burning core of the planet. In an instant, Nzrqnr realized a plan to fulfill his will.

The Orcs are turning bloodthirsty. They spar with each other regularly, creating senseless feuds within their race. The great paternal Cyclops looks on them with concern and looks to the skies, to his master Ugroll, for guidance.

"Arrange them into rows, my child, as they were when first you sculpted them. Appoint some of them as leaders. If they are to wage war, as I intend for them, they must be strong, and there is strength in unity. The urge to fight is lodged in their every bone and sinew, so turn them to a common goal..."

Rhodish looked over his land, taking note of the races that had settled there, now while Rhondish wishes for unity and peace, he initially created this land so his race may join that of his bretheren. His eyes took on a glowing hue of recent embers, he was gathering his power for his final action of this age. Soon, the others would know of the Skel'triy.
