Sorry bout missing the game last night, internet provider thought i didn't pay them, its all resolved now.

    latest thread is here http://suptg.thisisnotatrueending.com/archive/16572797/

last time. we found out who was causing the rampant banditry in our lands, it was lord criin's son, he tried bringing the wrath of stark down on us, but it failed and he got decapitated.

Lady Criin is now master of the Criin estate alongside her husband Edward Frey their lands are in the process of being broken up, but they still control a sizeable amount of land.

We also sent Dina up to Winterfell to bro it up, though from the letter it seems that Catelyn may have went behind Ned's back for this.

Keep mining the granite, iron, and perhaps a little bit of mining silver.
We if we mine out the rare resources then it will give our enemies all the more reason to strike us as we basically did a hard job for them.

The Granite Mine would cut down on building stone towers by 50 dragons, and the building of futrure stone castles/keeps by 500 (down to 2500 /1500)

The Gold mine costs 500 and could be used to trade to several large families for other benefits/kept to be used as a bargining tool

Silver would be 400 and would be the same as above

Pitch is used to turn usually nonflammable stuff flammable and to waterproof objects and would cost 450

Coal would be 300 and allow for the production of steel objects

currently you have a market, but no blacksmith (costs 350)

Morning comes and you awaken by Maester Herla

"hurry my lord, Maester Merwyn is waiting in the Hall to talk to you" Herla says impatiently, pacing around the room as you get ready.

you finally get down to the Great Hall, Herla running in front of you, as you walk into it you see Herla standing next to a wizened old man, who walks over to you and offers you his hand. "I'm Maester Merwyn" he intones dryly "I read your letter personally...and i must have seen this for myself."

he hobbles over to the table and sits down motioning for you and Herla to join him. Just then your wife, with a ripening belly comes out of the kitchen with a large loaf of hot honey bread and sits it down on the table in between you three and sits down next to you.

"So what is i Merwyn" she says " whats wrong with my boy?" she asks frantically.

"well...dear lady" he starts eyeing the honey bread "it seems that your son has the greenseer gift." he coughs slightly looking at you two

"Greenseer?" you say incredulously "but those are just fables and myths!"

"heh, not so...back in the old days, before the wall was built people far more north travelled quite often down her to raid, plunder or to even settle Westeros, they brought with them the godswoods and Greenseers, who could communicate with nature so to say, i thought it was lost until you wrote to the citadel, and i just had to see it for myself.
