As you sit on your throne, just recently returned from Pyrax you look at the reports coming through.

First Report is from librarian Fenix Who was on duty with Chaplain Azakniel. İt tells you that they succesfully deal with the strife between tribes. And also that their recruitment sweep will son end. For it seems they have found 65 possible candidates. A good number. Fenix also relays you to an invitation from governor of Tarren. She invites you to her palace, thinking it would be a good oppurtunity for both you.

Next Report is from Magos Mylthia. New primus of Pyrax. She tells you that she mainly established the new authority chain and now she is dealing with matter of workers life standards and the capabilities of the factoriums. She also asks for some of your marines the reinforce the stability of the planet.

Cadia is still ours as Abbadon proved his incompotence once again but due to Doombreed joining the fray at last months of war imperial forces took heavy casualties. 4 marine chapter are compeletly wiped and 12 regiments of imperial guard are obliterated. The remaining chapters are down to half strength.

Also Mantis Warriors Chapter is finnaly finished their crusade for pennance now having rights to recruit and claim a homeworld for themselves though their old homeworld is claimed by Space Sharks and forever lost to Mantis Warriors. News indicate that led by Chapter Master (Old second company captain) Aduin, remnants of the mantis warriors are close to your sector. Though you dont know where.

Also another imporant new is about a convenant of newly formed sisters who are searcing for worlds to build chapels and order houses.

Char traits are coming next....

Someone mentioned the idea of having the Sisters of Battle stationed off of the Forge World, and while I like that idea, I'm a bit iffy on it as well.

While having a capable force defending our resources without using our own manpower is a good thing, that also means that that resource is split between us and them. They'll need gear and maintenance, too. But it still sounds like a good idea that I would vote for.

Until we get some word about that, though, I approve of sending some Marines to the Forge World. A world as important as that would be far too insulted by Chapter Serfs, whether or not they're capable. And it's not without precedent, leaving Marines to defend valuable assets. Imperial Fists and Ultramarines are most known for it, but even the Space Wolves give Marines to their Navigator House and certain planets important to them.

As for the Mantis Warriors, well . . . they finished a penance crusade. They *finished* a *penance crusade*. Meaning they went through the harshest examinations possible by the Inquisition and were deemed holy in the Emperor's light.
So if they want to position themselves in a nearby sub-sector, hell. Good for them and us. Having an entire Chapter as an ally would be amazingly good for us.

As for the newest part, I'unno. Just keep going, good Emprah.

An idea for the Battle-Barge: Silence of Death, referred to simply as the Silence.

If the anon who got on and off wants to, he can come back on. Sorry, none of us were watching the chat at that exact moment.

You spend your 20 minutes in your chambers, busy with maps, books and etc.

After that you head for the docking platform Signum delta. You find your 6 man terminator retinue waiting for you next to a shadowhawk. Making your last preperations you then step into the shadowhawk with your retinue.

You step out from the shadowhawk and look around. Tarren is a beatifull world. Peacefull and tranquill. There is no signs of devastation or pollution from industurialization either. İnstead emrald forests, clear blue lakes and green lush plains covered the whole planets. There are no hives or spires where millions live in cramped spaces or slums. Settlements are agricultural, spacious and clean enviroment, big homes, healthy population. Thus settlements were few but each of them were spread over great areas. Existing with nature in a harmony. All citizens are wealthy and happy. They are faithfull, going to chapells daily and praying, also they are hardworking, not obsessed with luxuries. They are simplistic.

You then turn to see two identical silver haired female human bowing down before you. Their long hair covering their backs like a cloak. They are both dressed in similiar outfits. Red cloths are wrapped around their waists, like skirts. They both wear white and red silk shirts which does not cover their shoulders and arms. They wear a long silk glove on their right hand. Around their neck is a snow white scarf. You also notice that thier feet are covered by brown leather boots covering their feet and going up to their knees. They both look elegant and you also realize there seems to be no way to distinguish one from another.

-My lord. We are glad that you didnt refuse Lady Shiarin's invitation. She sent us to guide you and we are at your service. She hopes that you join her at her palace.

Painted carpets and such hanging out from windows and doorways, adding colour to the city. Following the sisters you arrive to the governors palace. A great building made from a special kind of white stone. İts entrance are decorated with colourfull flowers and at both sides of the marble pathway leading to the gates of the building are flower gardens. Two sister open the gates for you then lead you in. The interior is no less magnificent. Though simplistic like the rest of the city great cloth banners and carpets hungs down from walls. A red carpet is also beneath your feet. You see some servants scurrying around. The sister lead you up to the third floor. Passing some wide corridors and allways they stop in front of a wide wooden door. Opening it to the sides they tell you to go in. İt leads to a balcony. You notice a woman who seems to be at her 40's sitting on a wooden chair and drinking tea. Her hair is brown and her eyes are yellow. She turns to you and smiles warmly.

-İ am happy that you accepted my invitation my Lord. İ am Rhialia Shiarin the governor of Tarren.

She says.

-As you know my lord world of Terran is a peacefull agriworld. Most of its people work in fields and farms and live a healthy and peacefull life. But i am well aware of the danger that lurks among the stars. Alas the sub-sector defense force is in bad condition. Before you this sector's defense force was under control of Xarthon who neglected it. Getting mechanicus bootlickers to the position of commands and not really paying attention to its training and supplyments. İf we are going to defend our sub-sector we will need a capable fighting force. Though your presence are much welcome i know your only duty is not protecting this sub-sector. And i fear just reorganizing the PDF and training them wouldnt be enough.

İ believe we need a regular fighting force. A regiment made up from trained soldiers. Though it will consume much more resources than maintaining the standard PDF forces on the long run it would be a more accurate choice. But for this we also need capable commanders. As you know we dont have any academy for training officers. But there is a person i know. A retired imperial guard commander. Though imperial guard commanders dont ussually retire this particular fellow has served in many wars against terryfying enemies. All i know that at some point his regiment was asigned to a special mission by an inquisitor. Only he and handfull of his men survived. So to reward their succes they were allowed to retire and go back to their homes but for his retirement he decided to come here. His experience and skill would be much usefull if you plan on organizing a regiment.

Can't join the IRC right now, but let me voice our plans.

The sisters are establishing a conven on the Feudal World, our homeworld, and with them there, we have extra forces which we can use to our advantage. Since we pull recruits from different genders, we shouldn't be depriving ourselves of recruits. The Mantis Warriors however, would suck up recruits. We are a fledgling chapter of only 300 Marines, we need to grow and expand.

I say we ditch the Codex Astartes, for obvious reasons.

Joint Training programs between us and the Sisters, we use the same weapons and it might strengthen the bonds between us.
