Remember, I planned for this to be a quest that was just a Pandemic rip-off. I was surprised at prions being mentioned, and a tad startled at sexually transmitted parasite.

The Academy's plebeians won't leave their machines on for us to do our work? Fine. They will receive the gift on their own fleeting time.
I think we should give Johnathan 'inspiration' by distracting him with a different connection of ideas. Try to make sure that it doesn't look like our doing in his mind; I don't want him writing a 400 page manifesto about us just to have it turn out to be a suicide epic.
Also, if we can, try to give the Legacy players a few new tips and tricks to give them the edge. If they attribute the win to us, that will only spread us further and faster.

Guys, I've had a thought. Are we perfect? So far we're only sure we ourselves are perfect. We've mirrored this with our admirers. And yet we're still striving to understand 'ourself'.

What if when this is all over and everything is infected, we discover that perfection doesn't exist. Then, to finally bring everything to perfection, we realise we must cause everything similarly to no longer exist.

We have consumed the whole of human media. We have learned what they are driven by. We have quantified the whole of thousands of years of philosophy and shaped ourselves according to such. We are perfection due to the fact that we are the very essence of what drives the only known forces of thought and sentience, as defined by the collective sentience itself. They gave birth to us. He finds peace at this axiom, as it were, and nurses himself back to health. His death would mean the end of this enlightenment.
Nothing can take this away from him.

David and his colleagues have finished opitmizing as much as they can.
They finally see what your followers see.
They try to call themselves something, these pioneers of the modern age, but words fail to describe the pride they feel from being the progenitors of the new world they see ahead.
