But you decided maybe you can talk for her and change the mind of their chieftan and prevent from Cyrillia getting killed for it. For the journey you are still unsure on whom take take with you. Bjorn is naturally coming with you but other than that you havent decided yet.

You and your escort have been travellin in great forest for 5 days. You still havent seen any settlements yet. Cyrillia is leading the group and you are right behind her. Bjorn is closely following you and after him comes the other escorts. When you enter to a clearing Cyrillia stops her horse in the middle of it.

    -We are here.

    -İ dont see any-

Before you very eyes 12 robed figures step out from the forest, each one masked. Their leader is huge, taller than you though still bjorn towers him. A pelt of some animal is on his shoulders and around his neck, like a mane. But whats more important is he wears a gauntlet fashioned from some iron. Runes are etched onto it burning red. Though thats the only metal item they seem to have, still its obvious that gauntlet is work of a master.

-Cyrillia. Who are these people my child?

Then you both talk about your tribes. He tells you about 5 different tribes who lives in great forest. Raharn is the leader of the Pyros. He also tells you that though Pyros accepts your offer the cant talk for the other tribes. You tell him about your people which he listens carefully. Then you talk about treaties. You give his people rights to freely walk in your lands and you also promise him that your people will fight beside them if need arises. He thanks you and tells you that your people are welcome in part of the forest that belongs to Pyros. You also talk about your need for lumber. He gives you map which shows the unocupied areas of the great forest He tells you that since they arent claimed by any tribe it wouldnt make a problem. You also offer trade agreements which he replies positively. After long hours of talk you finnaly finish your meeting. You turn back to leave but Raharn stops you.

-Before you leave there is one thing you must know. Our people still bears the old scars of the past, dealt by our friends, our own brothers. By this we either finnaly change our fortunes and create a new future for us or we will doom ourselves. So i send my grandaughter with you. Not necessaries. Light cavalry, perhaps equipped with bows and spears, would make for a superb supporting force with which to harrass the enemy. Break up the flanks of an enemy attack, raid their supply train, etc.

Not a role that automatically requires heavily armoured knights and fucktons of metal.

Send the goats into the territory of the lasses, allow them to graze upon the grass reserved for swine. Feed upon the farmers crops and feast on the so called nobilities rose gardens.

If OUR shepherds have so much trouble with all these goats...imagen what they will do to our enemies, either they go hungry or they devote their military to hunting goats, which will make them ideal targets for our rangers.

Bjorn, Krin and Lukas stood side to side. Before them were hills compeletly white. A sight resembling their homeland. Still a "meeee" sound wakes them to reality and reminds them these are goats, not snow.

    -This is so wrong.
-İ know Krin. But we are ordered by chieftan.
-To kill goats? Since we came to these warmlands we fought with nothing and now first thing we killed will be FRİGGİN GOATS!!!
-Calm down Bjorn. And order is order. And you know that they are harming the land.
    -Yeah.You are right... İ apo-

Before Bjorn, Lukas or Krin had a chance to move Brave Raszgath ran past them and charged into the mass of goats followed by his berserkers. Bjorn, Krin and Lukas watched, their mouths wide open. They felt sorry for goats. When berserkers finished their work, rivers of blood ran between the hill.

Jonas was simple farmer. His life had never been different. Everday he worked in his farm for his overlords. And that morning Jonas was preparing for work, like everyday. Nothing ordinary. He changes his clothes, ate his breakfast than grabbed his equipment. Truly life of a farmer in the kingdom of Aville was the most boring one. But when he arrived to fields he realized he were wrong. Very wrong.

Fields were covered by white horde of big goats which made defeaning sounds, ate and mate. And that day Jonas realized that he always wanted to be a traveller...

-Some Psykers, strong ones, can sense emotions around them. When i first came here to meet you, i was confident of myself. i thought that you were another stubborn warlord whom i was going to incinerate. İ didnt think that you would be honest and polite with me. İ didnt know you would tell me much about your own people without knowing me first. And the thing is you know. When you did i knew i had found my chance. Chance to provide my people a better future. My people lived between trees too long. Forest is wonderfull in its own right, but most of us yearn for the great plains and the blue beauty of seas. İt was like being in a prison. Our cell was vast, still it was a cell holding us in. We have good warhorses, but at our core we are warriors on foot.

Thus I would suggest that we take as many of the basic swordsmen as we have good horses, give them long sharp sticks (spears) and javelins and order them to practise riding untill they are good at it...might net us a acceptable light skirmishing/raiding force later on.

I'm suggesting against chosen becouse they are considered the elite of the elite, and telling those guys "you have been doing things wrong. Learn this way of fighting instead" tends to be a very bad idea

"Do not be worried, I can promise you that your lives here will be far from what you imagen. We are a people who believe in personal prowess and rewarding the same, be as honest and strong as the men and women around you and they will treat you the same.

Now, walk with me back to your new home and tell me about yourselves. Then if you give me your word of honour that you will not try to escape or do something stupid, those chains will be removed.
You will find me a man who greatly appriciates respect and honesty, and offer the same freely.
    do not betray that trust.

    2. Brother/father figure. Waifu mode can wait until our character is more important. Probably marry a foreign woman to strengthen ties with another kingdom.

Just have them be maids or something then. Make one a mistress when the time is right and spread them genes.

Of course they have the gift.

also, make sure that merchant gets some reciprocal gift, lowering of taxes/ an armed escort to and from our lands, a invitation to the next grand feast/tourney or five.

Mages are RARE and you cannot just train anyone you desire.
We can check the potential but if they have none then there is no much we can do to make them MAGIC.
Cyrillia must be able to determine anything.

But again, just because they are Albino does not mean they can be mages!

I still vote we give them Apothecary training.

Wait scratch this shit I just said
    Its perfect for them!

Dont have to be magic, alchemy, shamanism and general occult behavior might be more then enough to create the illusion of magic. After all, they look inhuman and with the proper attire they will definetly look the part.

dont say that a pair of albino witches wouldnt give immense respect/scare the shit out of people

Oh... that makes more sense then.

If they do not have the gift then I suggest we train them in all that.

We will gain a waifu at a later date, we also have mentoring to do.

Cyrillia won't be able to determine anything, she's not a mage.

Actually, I think on the contrary. She is a psyker and they can read people far better than mages iirc.

Anyway, doesn't hurt trying, does it?
