The call does come in earlier than you both expected, a full year earlier. You emerge from the cave with your father a much wiser and stronger young man for your troubles. These past three years have been beyond formative for you, giving you a chance to really spread your wings and grow. You feel powerful, strong enough even to match your Father in hand to hand regularly. Your focus has been towards controlling your chakra. At this point you have such amazing Chakra Control that you can blast a very specific area with your Far Fist, boasting 89% accuracy.

The two of you are wearing gray robes with bandages around both of your feet and hands. You look, at first glance, like peasant monks traveling from shrine to shrine, a mistake that a few bandits made over the years. You and your father both hide your symbol on your forehead with a thick gray cloth which also supports your hair.

When you arrive back home you are greeted fondly by your Clan, your Father producing a massive index of the movements of the Land of Earth's clans and their assorted techniques. However, they are more impressed by how you've grown. Your brother, who is one of the first to see you, has also grown, settling into his manhood and wearing the outfit of a White Knight now.

The reason for the call soon becomes apparent. Main Branch members have been repeatedly and stealthily abducted on their way back from missions. Branch Members were dispatched, naturally, as guards. But any time that would happen the Main House member would vanish and the Branch Members would claim being attacked by some wild force of nature. The reason for the call was two Main Branch and three Side Branch members were abducted in the last mission alone, and the Patriarch was tired of the losses and want you two with your brother to go hunt them down.

Naruto is a gateway anime of the worst kind. It's a bad series, a clusterfuck of story and characterization that isn't very well done by any aspect, but which attempts to compensate for its weaknesses by adding in excessive shipping faggotry and DARKNESS. The normal anon can see this as the shit it is, and may enjoy it, hate it or be indifferent to it, but all the while recognizing that the series itself, regardless of their opinion, is plain bad.

However, these very aspects that try to smear over the shit of its core make it a breeding ground for aspie, unsociable underageb& faggots who engage in every kind of faggotry both online and in the real world. The superpowered characters all trying their hardest to look cool, the jutsus, peculiar, colorful clothes, the whole ninja faggotry and everything about the Naruto world fuels their escapist fantasies, while the pity-party character backgrounds, emphasis on revenge, and overall preachiness of the series make it fit just right with the mary-sueish drives of your average preteen and his sense of unwarranted self-importance towards the world. Exactly the kind of shit that makes little kiddies and underageb& retards eat this shit right the fuck up.

Naruto is basically THE series to attract the most hated anime fanbase known to /a/, which is why, regardless of individual opinions, it is the responsibility of every anon to troll the fuck out of this show and everyone who likes it, and ensure that no Naruto threads ever encourage the newfriends to show their faces here.

Well, let us tighten our sash, done our fighting robes, and go kick ass with dad and brother. And do we have a character sheet with what we upped on our three year break?

And, where there a lot of dead Uchiha on the clans doorstep when we get back?

And character sheet is in progress.

Strangely no Uchiha other than that one. The times of attack were entirely opportunistic. There was no warning, and no reason as to the attacks other than the fact that they were Main Branch members. The Patriarch has a list of people, including rogue clan members who sold out for money, who may be orchestrating these.

I like Null Stance. Nice and dramatic second-wind for when we spend almost all of our Chakra and folk aren't dead yet.

And lets start by...lets see if we can be all made to be Main Branch members, and then sent on a low level mission and come back, same way the everyone else has been attacked. It's a nice way to get both Father and ourselves into the Main House.

If that doesn't fly, lets just go down the list and start shaking the tree until something falls down.

I think the first thing we have to question here is if the status of main house even matters to the party responsible for the abductions. Who exactly were the missing members in regards to the hyuuga clan? We need to know if they were working on anything for the patriarch- we don't need specifics, we just need to know if there is a linking factor besides the main house status.

    >>16956793
I think we were wanting the Chakra Dampening perks and going along that tree, in order to create synergy with Null Stance.

There's also Greater Chakra Control, which would give us twice the output from Chakra Control.

Maybe we should also increase our Speed Rank, in order to get more attacks in while in Null Stance.

OP, does it still take 2 Perks to get Blitz 1?

    Here's my outline:

Chakra Dimming, Chakra Muffling (2 perks)
    Greater Chakra Control (1 perk)
    Blitz 1 (2 perks)
    >> Anonymous 11/18/11(Fri)14:57 No.16956876
    >>16956793
    >5 Perks.

Greater Chakra Control: Requires Chakra Control 6 or higher - You gain 2x the output from any use of Chakra Control.
Chakra Dimming: You can reduce the strength of your chakra signal, giving a -1 penalty to foes trying to detect you.
Chakra Muffle: As above, but -2 penalty.
Chakra Blackout: As above, but you cannot be detected by a foe without a kekkei genkai or Advanced Chakra Detection, and then they still have a -3 penalty.

    Bat-Hyuuga is go.

I would prefer that, but it depends on if other players agree.
Then the perks could change to:
Chakra Dimming, Chakra Muffling, Chakra Blackout (3 perks)
    Greater Chakra Control (1 perk)
Battle Sense (1 perk) needs 3 people to flank us, instead of the normal 2.

Well, while we decide on that, we'll continue the story.

You and your family head out to the location of the first abduction. It's clean and quick, which holds true for the first three. The next one, however, is much more violent with blood. However, you have a hard time seeing anything beyond signs of a struggle.

"This is a rather meaningless endeavour." Your brother finally comments, "We're hopping around out here in a combat zone with nothing to find, there's no way this assassin would attack us again, especially out in the open in broad daylight." He says, your Father keeping silent on the matter.

Something about these attacks seems off. They are hitting Hyuugas but the attacks seem to have changed. They started only attacking Main and now are hitting both, perhaps they don't recognize or understand the difference? Or maybe it's completely planned. Regardless, the trail is mostly cold, unless you can find a way to provoke another attack.

At your suggestion you come before the Patriarch who agrees to allow your brother to hide his seal and put a genjutsu on it that makes it invisible. With that in mind he dresses in the garb of the Main Branch and you and your Father dress as his bodyguards.

The three of you travel to the Senjuu village where you do a brief catch up and information transfer, including meeting Honda again who is impressed with your growth, though he himself stands at over six feet six inches and looks to be well around three hundred pounds.

On your way back to the Hyuuga compound you step on a piece of land and feel it click underneath you. Your battle senses activate and thick roiling smoke begins to curl around you all, causing all three of you to turn on your Byakugans. However, this was apparently planned as the smoke sudden explodes in a flash of white hot light, blinding all three of you. A heavy blow to the back of your head sends you to the ground.

You're out, we're just pausing for space.

You awaken in a cold breezy environment. It's hard to tell where as you are blindfolded and your hands are tied. You can't make the seal to activate your Byakugan and you haven't quite reached the level of proficiency to do so without a seal. However, to your senses, no other shinobi are near by.

That hypothesis is proven wrong, however, when you feel a set of light hands on your shoulders. Your Father taught you about capture situations, something you didn't think would happen a lot, but here you are. You sniff subtly, smelling a sweet smell like flowers and honey. The hands are cool and very light, they don't squeeze, but just seem to be there to show you that someone is with you. Suddenly you detect the chakra behind you, it's hard not to, it's a burning blazing signature that you know you'd be able to analyze with your eyes, could you use them. However, to your chilling realization, they are positioned right in the Hyuuga Blindspot.

"So, Shingen, how was the vacation?" The voice speaks, it's a deep masculine voice, completely contrary to what you expected from the feel and scent.

As you move to free yourself, your chakra welling up, you find that they cannot pass the point where he has her needles. Somehow she has an almost surgical understanding of anatomy and of chakra flow. She smiles at you, "I understand. You had to train, it's important to you." She smiled and looked at you, "Well, Shingen, you are a hero, but I think we're just starting the adventure. I'm going to leave, and when I do the needles are going to stop holding back your chakra. Now, we may not see each other again, but remember..." She says and touches your cheek fondly, "We're always together." She says and with that she leaves with a soft kiss to you forehead.

Minutes pass and indeed the feeling and chakra flow returns to your arms as you breathe normally and eject them from your body, slicing apart the restraints with your chakra as well before rising. You leave the small abandoned temple where she had you and look around, the surroundings are vaguely familiar, you're about three miles south of the Senjuu complex.

A consultation with the medics and your own medical knowledge reveals that it could be one of several things. Either she's using a poison that dries out your chakra system or she's using a lightning-based ninjutsu which she channels through the senbon to close off your body's ability to respond to stimuli including your own, effectively paralyzing you whenever she gets the slightest bit of contact.

If it's a poison, it must be a very fast-acting one, and it breaks down fast, since the paralysis of our shoulders only lasted a few minutes.
More probable, I think is the lightning-based ninjutsu. But we'll need to come up with counters for each, just in case.

Also, what would happen if we were in Null Stance? If our chakra levels were dangerously low, what would happen?

You're telling me that in a world of elemental ninja magics, our entire clan more or less looked at the huge pile of elemental weaknesses inherent in our chakra coils and said "eh, fuck it"?

With the Patriarch's permission you head to the Senjuu camp and as you arrive you are greeted by Honda who leads you through the Clan's massive camp. You are brought before a few elders and medics who explain the nature of the test to you. "We will use elemental chakra on your hand while you emit chakra. Depending on the reaction, you will be able to know what sort of chakra nature you have. Being a Hyuuga, however, I'm sure you'll be able to see the reaction before we do." They explain and in short order you find out that you shatter the earth chakra with your chakra which begins to spark and pop. You have lightning chakra it seems.

Let's see how he's been the past 3 years.

And maybe we can take this opportunity to see how some of the Senjuu use their elemental chakra.

And finally, we can check that abandoned temple on the way back home, see if the senbon are still there. They might not have any traces left, but it'll still be good in our practicing to use the same senbon that Inari used.

You and Honda spend the afternoon together, eating, laughing, and ending it all with a sparring match. You both go two and two and laugh before starting the fifth one. You laughed at Honda's hair and he at how you couldn't stop drooling from a punch in the mouth.

After cleaning up you return to the temple. However, to your disappointment, you find it cleaned up completely, not a single speck of dust is there, almost cleaned lovingly. A single stick of incense is burning in the middle of the room, about to go out.

You have worked on your speed hard these past years. You tear after her, leaping through the woods and grasslands at maximum speed. Your Byakugan on the entire time. This trail is getting too familiar for your liking. You're heading to the Uchiha grounds, and you have a growing sense of dispair at the fact.

However, as you are about to abandon hope, you see her, far far far away, and only for an instant before she evades you, but she goes past the camp, deeper into the woods. You follow her direction, but as you get closer your Byakugan suddenly shows a massive net of chakra underneath a large patch of ground you were going to step on. A trap of some sort. Curious you toss a branch onto the ground.

The entire area goes up in a flash of red and white hot light and flames. Certainly enough to kill you outright were you to step on it. However, the trap itself wasn't a very good one, it was plainly obvious to your Byakugan.

Dismayed you look around and notice something, a faint faint chakra signature. You see it hidden in a massive tree. Walking up to the tree you see that your hands pass right through it, a ninjutsu. You dispel it and pull out a young man, from the Land of Wind it seems from his coloration and hair. He's covered head to toe in dripping pin-prick wounds. Saving him would be very difficult. However, you also see a single senbon inside his chest, between his lungs, stopping him from taking a full breath.

Can we use our medical knowledge to see if the senbon can be safely removed?
And do we have a spare blood pill to give this guy?
We don't know for sure that he's a Sand ninja, and I don't like killing a man except in a fair fight.

    Congratulations.

It takes about three minutes of teeth-grinding work. You cut the man's chest wide open, your right hand doing the cutting as your left hand is pumping out healing chakra at the best as you possibly can. The senbon is removed and you close his chest. You patch the flesh and, because of your Byakugan and your genius, you are able to reconnect his chakra pathways and press your hand to his chest and forehead one final time, pulsating the chakra.

The young man gasps deeply, a breath that would have surely killed him before, and he coughs, again and again, before gasping for air. Eventually he stops and looks up at you, "Who....who are you?" He asks, his eyes strange and shaped like odd geometric patterns, someone with a Kekkei genkai. "Where am I?"

Tobirama's book is being quickly circulated as a masterpiece on theory about shinobi tactics. It explains the functions of various types of shinobi and how they can make their skills most useful on the battlefield. You get a copy and read it cover to cover in an evening. As you finish a messenger tells you that there's a mission that's come in for you and a squadron of five Branch Members, including your Father who will be serving under you. There's a large movement of Earth shinobi who seem to be coming this way, and you are ordered to stop and if needed, eliminate them.

A few hours into the training she gets matched up against you and goes straight for a grapple with you, her arms around your chest and torso, trying to throw you over her shoulder, her eyes burning a hole into yours.

Your voice echoes out to the emptiness. You shrug and head yourself back home.

That night as you lay down and close your eyes, drifting to sleep very quickly.

The next morning you wake up to find a note waiting for you outside your door, "Please come meet me at the waterfall, I think it's time to talk. -Father."

Dressing and eating quickly you headed towards the water front where your Father is standing right in front of the waterfall and facing it, focusing in as he turns when you get close, smiling, "Come, my son, let's talk." He offers and parts the waterfall with his chakra as he shows you a cloth on the ground where he sits down and looks at you.
