You are the chieftain of Corvus Tribe. Corvus Tribe. rules over the northern plains. Having nomadic origins it was hard to settle permanently in a land but you did it. Much happened since you have came here. You accomplished many things. You defeated an army which outnumbered you by superior skills and tactics. You improved your towns and organized your military. Still you are at the start of an endless road.

You still have a little hangover from the last night. Still you shrug it off easly and get to work. Your advisor reports to you...

-Coal shoartage prevents from forging new gear for chosens and swordsmen. Also cant advance forging without them and also most forges arent working.

-Prisoners dont make any troubles still the fact remains. You have to decide what to do with them?

Is there some exhausting work we can put them to? Nothing dangerous or unhealthy, just keeping them busy so they don't get any wrong ideas. Treat them well.
Make it clear to them that they're free to go home once the war is over.

    145 Riders

I'm not taking Berserker because I don't want to instill fear into the commoners (thus giving them a reason to fight). And the Archers are just too green.

I also want to bring prisoners that have shown to be willing to work with us (and Mr. knight). We should also talk to Mr. Knight if we are able to convince him to serve us we would be able to hold the land we conquer far more easily.

The way I want to do this fight is our Rider War-bands go about attacking Noble messengers and supply caravans (also they would be our scouts). We with the rest of our army pillaging and burning Noble manors one by one, freeing (or conquering) the towns and villages along the way.

See if any of the prisoners can be convinced to help target good spots to raid or sabotage. Mustering points, trade routes, bridges, military stockpiles. Destroy their ability to wage war on us!
We should carry off any war materiel we can, and destroy what we can't

Right wonder full. In that case we should take:

    100 Chosen
    300 Rangers
450 Swordsmen (70 of the new Swords men)
    145 Riders

Have the new archers and Swordsmen say at home and train (especially archers into rangers)

And Armor is always good (though it might slow us down).

I want to convince the Avillen commoners to join with us. Raiding them dose not help us (but go crazy on those nobles).
    >> Anonymous 11/22/11(Tue)12:40 No.16990800
Cannot argue with that but at this moment we cannot secure our own supply of coal so why not trade with our allies?

Besides, it will bolster trade and make us richer in process

    >I want to convince the Avillen commoners to join with us. Raiding them dose not help us (but go crazy on those nobles).

you know what we should do?
Over the span of a month, we should regularly have dialogue with Sir Blackhand. Befriend him, have discussions on all sort of things, etc etc.
Make him respect us like no other.

I am not sure how this will play out but if we ever release the prisoners, we will have someone on our side from Aville.

I agree that we shouldn't make any raids. That will only work against us.

    >> Anonymous 11/22/11(Tue)12:47 No.16990856
We had deemed them dangerous on the account of them being haunted by some ghosts or some shit.

I think we are going to lose many men from our expedition if we send them there.

I think, we need some magic support to clear the place first.
    >> Anonymous 11/22/11(Tue)12:51 No.16990883
Still.... we will provide a good Casus Belli for our enemies to continue the invasion.
As the things stand right now, we are the victim while the Aville is the aggressor.
And it is not like the Aville can turn these raids into propaganda tool, they can just say that we raided some villages somewhere and slaughtered everyone, raped their women, etc... And the peasants will believe them since there is no other information source. (Of course, they could be doing this even without our raids but at least now they would be lying completely as opposed to "deceiving the truth""

Well, we are working towards inciting a civil war in Aville.

Do some raiding on any military outposts along our border. See what can be done to clear out ghosts in the mountains. Send messengers to the villages closest to us in Aville, promising safety if they join us before all out war starts. If possible recruit any prisoners who seem genuinely happy with their circumstances to do this.

Send scouts to locate and gather intel on the border outposts, specifically how many soldiers there are in each one. Station most of our army area surrounding Ravenhold.

    I'm back

and will have a full plan soon
    >> adviser K 11/22/11(Tue)15:55 No.16992297

I think we should attack in full force. As Ilythia is reenforcing Aville in a month I want Aville not to be any shape to capitalize on those reinforcements.

I would like to do my previous load out from >>16990685 and >>16990780
    100 Chosen
    300 Rangers
450 Swordsmen (70 of the new Swords men)
    145 Riders

That said the plan as I imaged it is.
We would break up the army into:
    Scouts - 3 Rider and 2 Ranger (mounted)* war-bands
Main Body - All the Swordsmen (with chain-mail and shields) and 200 rangers
    Elites- 100 Chosen (mounted)*
    * We take horses to improve mobility and they dismount to fight
** The shields should be large enough to make a shield wall with

The scouts would ride ahead of the main body and do four things; scout enemy fortifications and forces, deposit rangers to set up trap and ambushes, kill Avilles messengers and supply caravans (if they can), and liberate (or conquer) villages or towns that are too small to be worth bringing the main body to.

The MainBody would move to the nearest city or threatening army conquers and move on.

The Elites will be our reserve. We call them in if the scouts are having trouble taking a town or we need a some extra help for the main body.

When we take a town or village and if we have a prisoner form that town or village I we should return that prisoner as a act of good will to the people.

If we can convince blackhand we should install him as a new king of Aville.

I had assumed that we would be with the Chosen and we would go back a fourth to where even the fighting is the thickest (hopefully we can catch all the big battles).
The leader of the rangers would lead the scouts. (lukas was it)
The leader of the Swordsmen would lead the main-body. (a K something)
Bjorn and the adviser (the one who wants us to marry) would manage the home front.
