We find ourselves looking upon a twilight pyre.
Were for the first time in so many spins of the sky the stars have given us the light to see the world before us.

    And the first words we hear are that of the pleas of the littlelings below us;

    " Help "

The stars tell us of their tale, though short, has witnessed their banishment from their underground home and now find themselves here in witness of the wide open sky, within reach of monsters and malice in all shapes and sizes.

    Tell me, my brothers,
    can you hear them ?

Food means farms, I think we can build those without collecting any additional resources.

Our senses travel down to the world of shape.

Our bodies both seperate and connected to the planet.

    Help the littlelings we must.

But we are just one being, TOWERING over the rest of the world.

The northern winds leaves them a shiver. Are these little lings not accustomed to shelter ?

We have turned the Earth for them and plucked a tree for their use.

They happily accepted and made themselves a cottage next to the mushroom fields. So long as water was near, such activities are possible.

And now I spy that their little sign had changed in number, though I only count 6 little-lings.

The problem with the hill is it's way on the other side of that river and we don't know what those ruins are about. We're better off fortifying our current position and then exploring the hill. Then we turn it into a fortress.

The Kobs, as they have told me requested a shack where they can work in darkness where their ideas would allow them to make tools. I have done so and now they've gone into the business of collecting trees from the forest for use for their defenses.

They would need a forge if they are to fight intruders with their weapons. Those require stone.

The quest for stone was not as abundant,
however a forge was constructed, as was a mine.
The combination of these two boons allowed fthe Kobs to better their tree getting and mining business.

[I have rewritten the number of kobs we have to reflect the AVAILABLE number of idle Kobs as opposed to the busy ones. Idle Kobs can be used for projects like building or errands. Kobs that are posted with a job are busy being that role indefinitely. ]

    [Overview so far:
    Log Hut: Collects wood
    Forge: Upgrades tools using stone
    Mine: Collects stone
    Farm: Increases Cap
Water: Allows for building and Errands
Pasture: Adds Cap, allows for Animal Domestication, expand more pastures to tame other types]

The wolf situation was resolved thoroughly.
Our two hands captured two for domesticated use.

The Hunting party sent after the other wolves were ambushed, but they fought back bravely.

We have looked on as the Kobs have gotten back on their feet, mourning their lost and strengthening their bonds.

In our idleness we have told the Forge the secrets of firepowder and it was rather matter of factly about it before it had passed out.

Agreed, we need to have spike traps that could be hidden under fake grass or riverside soil, and raised up on an angle so they form a pike formation trap. Make it on our side of the river, and have one or two Kobs man it. That way, when they start to cross the river, they only see our arrowbolds shooting at them, and when they run to the shore, the pike traps go up, effectively creating a horde jam which we can pick off with our arrowbolds and spearbolds. Do we have spearbolds yet?

Our beloved Monolith can become its tower shape across the bridge again, denying them easy river access. Our other guardian can remain atop the hill, WITHERING THEIR SIEGE ENGINES WITH HOLY FIRE.

The one by the river.. he can remain there, harassing them as they approach, filling them with death.. regrettable death.

Kob wolfriders, hide and form up behind the southwest gate and northeast by the tower, prepare a counterstrike manuever.
Bowbolds line the river and any trees we have for range increases, and spearbolds man that newly-made siege tower, aim it for the enemy siege lines.

Blue Tower: Slay the goblins in the river with the grey tower, if it can reach. If it cannot reach, have it turn to slay the goblins on its slopes.
The ogres/trolls are slow enough to not be a threat.

Wolfriders flanking wolves crossing could get messy, they could get taken in the rear. Best to use them to support the kobold tree archers to kill the goblins in the river before sending them across it. I think our riverbank forces can take the wolves and northeast goblins.

Central tower, Megalith, consider hitting the lead goblin on the westernmost wedge, give them pause in their advance and give our kobs weakened enemies to slay. Though we have no idea if a single shot slays a troll or not.

The day begins anew, And the kobs have quickly dropped their bows for hammers and got right to work. Their relatively bloodless victory had spurned them to fight harder for those that took a wound for them.

    Kon the beastmaster
    Kol the farmer
    and ourselves, Megalith.

However while Kobs have taken to repairing their broken things, the workers have come into trouble repairing our horn. It seems we Kastors, a name given to us by the stars cannot grow or heal . . .

In our search for this elusive firepowder, the Forger Lark has requested that his forgeworks be [Enchanced] so that FirePowder maybe harnessed from the mines.

Cannot grow or heal!? Tragic! More care must be taken with our beloved friends, then. But perhaps.. cannot grow or heal, but can they be repaired?

    Actions:
A series traps to prevent the enemy's advance and kill many would be useful! For example,
a trap between the two hills, a collapse trigger-able by an explosion, to bury the enemy. We can trigger the explosion with one of our beloved Kastors, or perhaps this new Fire Powder.

A road that leads directly from the fort, across the river, to the TRAP we have dug near our original catapult. A secondary, secret road leads through that copse of trees and into the lumber camp wall gap. Our kobs know about this and thus avoid falling into the trap. The Pale rider was all too surprised that her rescuers were but small kobs. However it soon dawned on her that the impossible task of a small village defeating a black horde could not be so unbelieveable if Kastors were involved.
