    bloop, turns out this works.
    Anyways.
    Here are the rules:
    1) tribes can start at the red marked areas (labeled A to P), but there are restrictions depending on which species or ethnicity your tribe is composed of (will be detailed further).
    2) You can take any tribe and decide things for them. Roll a d20 for success. This includes expanding territory, developing technologies, diplomacy, attacks, etc.
    3) As usual, you may edit the creature's pic if you like - with a caveat this time: major edits are for equipment/clothing or buildings (see further explanations) primarily, while further evolutions are very minor (such as subtle coloration change, elongation of manipulative digits etc).
    4) I'll be here to arbitrate things and give the final say on things.
    >> Anonymous 04/09/12(Mon)04:21 No.18636214

The return of the fellowship is met with joy, but the fair colored maiden quickly becomes the center of attention. Her scent is new and exotic, and the color of her skin has never been seen before. It doesn't take long before the majority of the tribe is all over her, welcoming the her to the tribe.

While this is going on, the fellowship reports to the shaman. They tell everything they saw, but even the shaman seems to be confused.
"Bring the young one to my hut, I must analyze her, and seek guidance from the Soul Wind. The world spirit is indeed restless if what you say is true. Meanwhile, you should tell the hunters to get back to their duties, the herd has been stationary for almost two weeks now, and the our supplies are starting to get depleted. Also inform the herders that they need to collect the scattered herd, we will be departing soon."

The K'Lahk engage in mock fights and storytelling for entertainment.
Every few nights the families get together in a main building made for this purpose to fellowship and listen to a story or watch an act prepared by the family chosen by the elders. If this is done well the family can be proud but if it is not, shame is brought upon them until they can redeem themselves.

The young Frowgs go through a rite of passage ritual involving the wielding of two axes fluidly and being able to satisfy the warrior judges on a hunt. If they can do this they are accepted as adults and allowed to start a family.

and lo! did the Ta'Miril Conclave set out with the FrowgMen of the Tundra(K'Lahk tribe/clan/family?). So did they cross the frozen river, and meet with the Frowgmen of the plains, laden with story, equipment, and goods. The Heavily armed "killers" (soldiers in actuality, but lem call their casts after what they do.) take off their helmets and greet the Fo'Wil in their own language...at least the dialect the K'Lahk use, and then again heavy accented by a foreign mouth. rolling to see initial greeting. (totally gonna need the K'lahk to back me up on this one.)

The woodcarving in the last post was total bad assery btw, also since your dudes took in the ritual of the dead and ate of the lem, in addition to tripping out, and learning a new language, they also "know" how to use the "exotic" lem weapons...so enjoy the big fucking axes. The Frowg leave the conclave with new ideas. The lem learn more of music, and Axes, of stone, and the Frowg's beliefs...of what a Family is and what competition is good for.

The Lem came south to build another alliance and secure the lands they knew of, and to encourage preparation for the "tomorrow war" be it in weeks or in coming generations.
(possibility the K'Lahk think the Ta'Mirel are heavily armed, friendly, and slightly insane. will need clarification)

The path between the two villages, was...not so great, but the outposts were strong, built from massive Cidex bones and carved stone, each one lit up at night with a pyre to light the way for traders between the two villages. It was no longer strange to see the two races cohabitating and interacting. The Lem spent their nights practicing..art, arms crafting, whatever came to mind. Villages were expanded upon then fortified, then again decorated with rope, net, bone, paints (cydex and ramel blood, with ground up material for pigment) and weapon totems. the path right now, it was shit, but the lem knew in time it too would grow strong.

Still, one can dream. That's why I hope to learn how to write better, and trying to get in on games like the ones here on /tg/ (table top stuff in general, pen and paper RPG etc etc) I feel it'll help improve my own creativity.

Hell, threads like this as well as the old Civilization ones they had up a few months ago on /b/ were fascinating to me haha. Just wish I was more creative.

I doubt that EA is going to continue with spore.
The butchered version they released failed to become the new maxis cash cow they had planned, and it's expansions hardly made a difference.

When I was younger, I thought that a game like spore would be fucking sweet, even though I hadn't even heard about spore itself. The concept of an evolution game has been in my mind for some time now. When spore was announced I was thrilled. Unfortunately the final product failed to deliver what I expected.

I have this dream of mine, which is making a "proper version" of spore, that is more realistic and complex. I have a long ass pasta about is that I sometimes post in /v/'s spore threads.

Sure, it seems on topic- but I think IG wants to know where your race will travel as your migration roll was successful!
I think that somewhere, someone might be developing the proper version in their spare time. Maybe a mod of some sort, I don't really know. It just feels like it since spore had the public desire.

Will also profited from it scientifically either way, I've seen him in quite a few talks on evolution, a show on a theory that we're all a computer program in a simulated world, and a few others.

Actually, correction: there are roaming NPC herds as they can be used for hunting game... But I think it's mostly designated by IG as this is his world, supplied by us creators.

We may be gods ruling in the lands, shifting worldly powers, influencing mortals about their lives and guiding them through their lives and their children's lives, and their children's children's lives, but we still follow the guidance of the All Father, the creator of this world.

There might be some unevolved fish in the waters, or the oceans. The trees in the area are un-Ascended Frilla trees, and other foliage from other generations long past.

The swamps are dominated by the Spore Yantar plants, which issue a mild irritant from the spores that saturate the marshland air.

Pretty neat world we have here, honestly. I'm glad to be a part of it in some way.

Actually, so far there aren't NPC tribes. There are scattered amounts of wanderers from your tribe, though, so you might meet a family of wanderers setting up camp somewhere outside the main Nad'Lun territory. As for the Great Sky Tribe... let's just say it's magic, ain't gotta explain shit.

Meanwhile, halfway on their migration, they were forced to stop, due to a sudden river flood blocking their path. During their stop, they managed to hunt and forage, and found enough food to last them weeks.

As the Nad'lun descend to their usual river crossing glen, they find it completely flooded.
Luckily they manage to catch some food, more than enough to last until the water recedes.

While they wait, the herd disperses to the nearby regions to feed, along with some herders to guard them. The Nad'lun use this time to warm up their social ties with dances and plays, repair their gear and raise the young and perhaps breed few more.

The fair colored maiden has gained quite popularity amongst the younger Nad'lun. Her ideas about farming are still being rejected by the Shaman, and the other elders, as to them, the nomadic lifestyle is the only true one.
The younger hoppas on the other hand find the idea intriguing, and full of possibilities.

The maiden and her followers have gathered at the shores of the river in order to get some water, and test the farming idea in practice.

Fast lane to agriculture city, I see. the younger Nad'Lun find that it is easy to grow Hrass, and this particular kind is growing rather fast with the Maiden's effects and the fresh river silt carried by the flood it is planted on. The Hrass's bulbs grow fat in just over a month, at which time the floods recede and their path opens once more.

The waters have moved, and now the path is clear and the time for the Nad'lun to move onwards has come.
The seeds of dissonance have been sown however.
The moth of wait was quite blissful for the tribe. Three children reached adolescence while 2 more were born. The hoppa herd grew and feasted in this lush and fertile river valley, and the Nad'lun had more time than ever before to just lay back and do what they pleased.During this serene month the youngsters cultivate the Hrass in abundance.
In this fertile ground, the plants grow fast and become extremely nutritious.

But now that the time to move out is at hand, some Nad' lun would rather remain in this valley, and continue this easy lifestyle. The hrass could provide them with a steady supply of food, along with the herds, as the vegetation in this valley seems to be bountiful. This doesn't fit well with the elders, who think that staying put would stand against all of their traditions and beliefs. The hrass grows too slow for them, as the herd never stays put for long.

They place their blame on the fair maiden, who they see responsible for perverting the minds of the youngsters with revolutionary ideas.
The elder council has gathered to a hearing, to decide the appropriate course of action.

Everyone agrees that Kunaba is a dangerous mountain and should only be attempted by the strongest and most cunning, and never alone.

With the great increase in activity with the Lem, the K'lahk find themselves attempting to expand to the west almost naturally.

Finally the Lem language is deciphered from the exchange and the K'Lahk are able to communicate with their tall neighbours in their own tongue. A few Frowgs even take up their families and move to live among them, wanting to experience the simple unity of Lem life. Hopefully the Ta'Mirel are welcoming of the idea.

The K'lahk decide to build a great hall for their gatherings, one big enough that all frowgs from all over the land can come and enjoy. It is a colossal task by their estimates and will no doubt take quite some time to do, but they are up to the task.
The artisians also work feverishly to recall more of their history to tell when it occurs to one, could we not make the story ourselves?

If the frowg knew, it would be poetic to them, but this was lost to the ages and the depths of the Lem's subconsciousness.
    --------------------------------------
The Lem begin to move towards helping the Frowg as they help each other, instinctively. They pile onto the great hall project, working while the frowg sleep. During the day they attempt to turn the road outposts into full blown villages.
    -------------------------
during one evening a very young frowg used its eating utensil to fling a bit of meat, directly into the eye hole of a solider-killer Lem's helmet...this made all in attendance laugh well and hard. They try to gain as much land as possible, and in cases, they did by defeating carnivorous Ragas and harvesting their root. These, in turn, became good material to make their great hall, the construction of which is going smoothly. The artisans, however, have no such luck in their storymaking, as they think the stories they create didn't work as well as the old stories. They tell these stories to their children instead.

The Ta'mirel began trying to remember their old dreams. Some common themes among the dreams began to emerge: of sadness under an ash-black sky. Of an attempt to help something that ends in a botch.
It seems that the construction of the great hall is already receiving great efforts from the K'Lahk tribesmen, and the Ta'mirel hands found little to do. The lack of understanding of physics also hindered the creation of the great throwing machines, the first few prototypes went the way of Wily E. Coyote's.

The Lem were crushed by their failures...literally. Two were killed, one was maimed so badly that the Lems children's children would bear its scars (literally, division is just that, a split of the original) Undaunted the Lem press on, turning failure into success. From the failed throwing fork...(lets be honest, it was a giant Frowg fork.) came the loader mechanism, a simple pulley of sinew rope over a smoothed peice of cidex horn. The Lem turned their attention to the pulley and tried to figure out what applications in their life it could be used for beyond loading a giant fork thing.

The Great Hall's construction is unimpeded, but it will take some more time until it's ready for habitation. (If possible, draw it for us!) New building techniques were devised for the Great Hall so it can last the tests of time; Little do they know that it'll be used in almost every home they will make in the future. The K'Lahk discovered Slightly Advanced Construction!
Meanwhile, the Frowgyouths seek to master the art of riding Ramel. More and more of them show up at the corral, learning their skills through Lem instructors.

The Ta'mirel found out that the Road can be improved with the addition of crushed Ragas root under the rocks. This made the road smoother, while also making small plants grow near it. these became ready food for their Ramel beasts of burden. This led to the outposts becoming more travelled, and thus, more settlers develop the outposts into villages.
Meanwhile, the new pulley device they tried out in the failed tests were examined further. A bowyer, as if struck with lightning, created small versions of the pulleys to be used in bows... after a few broken bows, the bowyer had finally managed to make a Composite Bow using the small pulleys to half the amount of pull exerted by the archer's arm, thus making the bow more powerful. Advanced Projectile Weaponry discovered!
The Ta'mirel tried to teach the K'Lahk in the arts of war and fighting, but differing viewpoints and body structure had slowed progress.

The elders resent the idea of settling down, but they cannot argue against the clear benefits of cultivating the Hrass. It grows fast, it is easy to farm and it's parts have multiple potential uses. The leaves could be potentially woven into sheets and ropes, which have formerly been mostly made from hoppa skin and tendons, which have been in limited supply.

But it is also clear that there are risks in settling down in one area. The herds can't graze the valley indefinitely, and the hrass is dependent on a steady supply of water.

The Nad'lun argue deep in to the night, both the traditionalists led by the shaman and the brood mothers gain supporters, as do the followers of the maiden. Eventually, when the final speech dance has taken it's place, a compromise is made. The tribe will split into different groups, some of which herd smaller herds in the plains surrounding the valley, while the the rest of the tribe will stay in the valley, and cultivate the hrass.
This way, the massive herd won't exceed the ecological capacity of the valley, and thus allowing the Nad'lun to build a safe heaven in this protective glen, in which they can farm hrass and grow in strength.

The smaller herds will be led by experienced herders and guarded by warriors and flash hoppas, as they travel the plains and eventually return to the valley for resupply, news and orders from the elder council.
The valley will be used as a stronghold for the tribe, in which they can be safe in case of a disaster. The annual flooding will allow the hrass grow in steady supply, which will give the Nad'lun a secure power base.

The elder council is forced to accept this agreement grudlingly, as so many of the younger and even mature Nad'lun see the benefits this plan gives to them.
The transition to this new way of life, won't be instantaneous of course. The tribe itself needs to grow first, before they can actually split apart and guarantee the safety of the massive herd.

It will be seen if the food supply of the valley can bear the strain the herd gives to it, while the Nad'lun prepare for this revolutionary shift in living.

Whoah! With that reasoning behind it, no rolls are necessary. The Nad'Lun managed to discover another way of living - that is, the sedentary kind. The food supply in the valley, augmented by the planting of Hrass, can support the whole tribe easily enough. This has caused a boost in Nad'Lun's numbers, but not that high that the valley cannot support them.

The Nad'Lun continue on their two division. One group herds, and the other farms Hrass on the river valley. The time is right for the decision, as a mysterious malady strikes the herds of Tuft Hoppas. The infected Hoppas lose most of their leg strength in just three days after the initial symptoms of getting purple rashes on their body, and soon afterwards die. Most of the tribe's herds were decimated, with only a tenth of the Tuft Hoppas resilient enough to survive the plague.
In the meantime, the Hrass grows plenty on the valley, and distraught herders begin to think about changing their lifestyle.
After the first outbreak of the Spotted Plague, scouts were sent to determine the cause of it, as well as looking for wild Tuft Hoppas to domesticate. It seems that there's been an anomalous wind pattern coming from the marshes, depositing fine dust all over the eastern river plains around the time the Spotted Plague happened.

This disastrous event causes strife amongst the Nad'luns. The traditionalists, the shaman especially saw the plague as a sign and a punishment from the ancestral spirits for the abandonment of the traditional lifestyle.
The farmers on the other hand claim that by farming hrass, they saved themselves from total disaster, as without an ample amount of tuft hoppas, the tribe would be in serious trouble if they still were nomads.

Overall, the split within the tribe is stronger than ever, but the circumstances themselves prevent an overall collapse. The traditionalists can't abandon the valley and adopt the herding life again, as there aren't enough hoppas to be herded. The two opposing factions work together for now, to ensure their common survival.

They send out multiple scouts, some to locate more tuft hoppas and others to investigate the marshes. The farmers start planting new crops to alleviate the looming food shortage, and also to give the now aimless herders something to do. The Shaman also attempts to search answers from the Soul Wind.

Scouts have managed to find that wild Tuft Hoppas have less casualties than domesticated ones, and they soon find some groups of wild Tuft Hoppas.
The investigation team went to the marshes, and saw that the marsh had suffered a minor drought, which caused some soil to dry up. Comparing the dried marsh soil to the fine dust matches them; the dust had indeed come from the marshes. Exactly why does this cause the plage was not yet known.

It squirmed it's way to the tribe trough it's agent, the fair maiden, who poisoned the minds of the young!

The Shaman storms from his tent, and heads straight to the Hrass fields. There he encounters the fair maiden, whom he immediately charges and bashes with his staff. Before he is able to harm her any further, he is fortunately restrained by the other farmers.

The deaths of the scouts somewhat unify the tribe in grief, and for the first time since they decided to settle down in this valley, they are in complete agreement over something.
The River Slizer menace must be eliminated.

The Nad'lun begin to devise plans and weapons which could be used to kill or drive out the mighty beast.
Ideas such as sturdier spears with jagged blades, weighted nets with thorns and long hrass ropes with hooks at their ends are brought forward.
Plans like luring the beast to shallow water and then killing it, moving large stalk plant trunks to the river, and binding them to ground so that the river wouldn't take them with it, so that the slizer would have harder time moving about. Some even suggest that they could dam up the river, but this idea was quickly discarded by the majority as ridicilous.

Eventually the tribe reached conclusion. They would develop tools for the task, and then lure or drag the River Slizer to shallow water, in which they would then slay it.
(how big are these things exactly?)

River Slizers are about as big as the Dragon Slizer your tribe enocuntered. It's big, but not king-kong sized. Think Great White size.

The Nad'Lun managed to devise Hrass ropes, and create tough enough hunting nets and hooks. For harpoons, the best they can manage is bone harpoons, which aren't that sharp. The hunt is ready to begin.

Anyways, the Nad'lun prepare for the hunt. They kill few of the elderly tuft hoppas and use some of their parts as lures, while other tribesmen collect stalk plant trunks at the shores, and plant them so that when the slizer emerges, they can be toppled over it. The weapons are gathered and the Nad'lun hide in the undergrowth near the shore.

Finally, they tie the lures to the riverbank plants and throw them to the shallow water.
    The hunt has begun!

What goes on is similar to a scene from Jaws. A hunter that was tasked to lure the Slizer to the shallows by tossing pieces of tuft hoppa meat had instead attracted the attention of the beast. The Slizer then bursts out of the deep river, snatching the unlucky Hopper hunter, and got itself stranded in the shallows. The other Hoppas, partly terrified, partly enraged at the casualty, jumped in and starts stabbing the Slizer. The Slizer retaliates, causing quite a few injuries and another casualty to the Hoppas, and tries to snatch another Hoppa into its hungry maw.
But not today. Not this Hoppa. This one is different.
Deftly using all but one of its appendages, it held the mouth of the Slizer open, while the free appendage reached for a dagger and stabbed the Slizer to death. The brave Hoppa was carried about a good mile or so during the struggle, and the other Hoppas thought it had metaphorical balls of steel.
Today, the Nad'Lun lost two of their own kind, but learned that they have a hero amongst them.
    (Name your hero!)

The hero is alive I assume.

After the Slizer and the before quite unremarkable young herder named N'olai were swept by the river in their struggle, the tribe was in a state of confusion. They swiftly started moving down stream in desperate hopes to avenge their fallen brethren.

Eventually they came upon a small cove, in which the slizer was lying dead. At the shores, bloodied but alive, sat N'olai. There was much rejoicing to be had, as a mere herder was now a legend. The gap of dissonance between the traditionalists and farmers was all but forgotten in the great feast that followed.

Most of the Nad'lun didn't care for the body of the beast, but while the tribe celebrated, some of the more curious ones attempted to loot the corpse.

    Rollan for looting.

Ps. I am totally going to draw the scene of N'olai stabbing the slizer to death.

The Nad'luns feast lasts deep into the night, they eat and play and dance the night away. Eventually the very reason for this grand celebration is forgotten, as the hoppas embrace each other in their newfound unity. Rows and disagreements are settled and social bonds reformed.
The split within the tribe is healed almost completely during this festival.

N'olai, the serpent slayer and the champion of the celebration, managed to withdraw himself from the party, after it became clear that the fest celebrating his deeds had much greater purpose in reuniting his tribe. His departure was only noticed by the fair maiden, who proceeded to follow him.

The maiden who unintentionally caused the inner split to form, and the herder whose heroic act remedied it, both thought that their presence at the feast would only distract the Nad'lun from their reformed unity, thus the two young hoppas, stayed back and watched their tribe's reunion from the trunk of a massive Calix Yantar plant.

The Shaman consults the Soul Wind... and the graft on his head suddenly glow a dim yellowish hue and hummed. It drove the Shaman into a trance. Knowledge suddenly rushed into its mind; it was if a whole layer of reality was peeled away, uncovering this truth to the Shaman. The Shaman learned that all sentient Hoppas can learn how to read the Soul Wind as easy as breathing, if there are specific points on their body that were poked simultaneously. Then another information floats into the Shaman's vision; poking another set of points lets a Hoppa to communicate without having to move, produce pheromone or be in sight range.
After recovering from this revelation, the Shaman calls for one of its most inept students, and tried the technique on the young Hoppa. Suddenly the young Hoppa sends a message without moving at all: "Hey, what'd did you do that for?"
The Shaman, overjoyed, tries again on another passer-by, and the same thing happened. Soon after a storm of fervent poking, the whole tribe, even the Maiden, can talk without moving or spewing pheromones.
    Special ability unlocked: Telepathy.

In the euphoric rush the whole tribe felt, they felt compelled to commemorate this by making -something- out of the Slizer N'olai slew. Soon, a totem is made, one that the Nad'Lun's future generations will remember.

(Telepathy is a sure way to remove any of the potential language barriers between the other races. The first encounter with them might go easier than I predicted.
    Anyways...)

This stunning new ability is taken with mixed feelings, the Nad'lun are now able to communicate much faster, now that there is no need for dancing, but on the other hand, many are afraid that with this newfound ability, they will lose what remains of their traditions and culture. Some fear that the Scent Way will be forgotten, now that it isn't necessary for communication anymore.
Others think that their new ability will just augment their existing communication, as the pheromones are still capable of conveying primal thoughts, emotions and motivations with stunning clarity.

Although the shaman himself discovered this skill, he still wishes to preserve the Scent Way. He dedicated his whole life for studying it, and thus he can't allow it to fade away in the advent of telepathy. He needs to find a follower for himself, a new shaman.
The new shaman must be able to unify the tribe under one banner, he must inspire the Nad'lun to greatness. Luckily, a suitable candidate emerged very recently.

The Shaman summons N'olai to his hut.
There he explains the young hoppa the situation.
He tells N'olai that his time is up. The shaman is old, over 38 years of age. Tribal hoppa's life span is usually around 40 years. The shaman must pass down his knowledge of the Scent Way, the Soul Wind, legends, tales, myths, everything he knows. For not even telepathy can decipher the fickle currents of the Soul Wind, one needs knowledge for that.

His top student, the one that the Slizer killed, was supposed to take up his mantle. Now it can't be done, and time is running out for the Shaman. He can perhaps expand on N'olai's training, but he can't make him a Shaman fast enough.
The shaman has a plan however. He might be able to use telepathy to transfer his knowledge to N'olai swifter. It is the only way to ensure that all that must be known is preserved.

Meanwhile, the tribe sends scouts to cross the river once more. Others ready themselves for a hunting trip. The maiden is organizing the foundation of another Hrass field.

Returning to the Fo'Wil village, drenched, hungry and tired they set up camp once more. The Ta'Mirel and K'Lahk payed their way by aiding the locals, in time the Fo'Wil leaders agreed to join them in their cause. How far was yet to be seen. The Lem were strange, in mannerisms, in that no one had seen them sleep, and there were even rumors that one had split into two, yet none of the strangers even blinked an eye at it. Stranger still was how heavily armed and coarse they were. Perhaps they had "seen some shit". Still, the Lem wanted to speak to the Elders badly, they kept insisting that they needed to see their spears...in time it was explained the spears bared the story of the nightmare. It was the only time the "lem" had slept. In it a mosterous spirit offered them the chance to join it, give into their urges and destroy the world. The refused, it promised retribution and that they were unnecessary to preform the task. as the elders listened they looked over at their northern brethren, how far they had changed; physically, socially...did they really believe this tale? The K'Lahk concluded the story explaining that for generations upon generations they have prepared for the tomorrow war. Hey yeah motherfucker! Hey, i made the Lem way back when, when they were little slime monsters from space (long story) heres some things to reiterate about the lem: They are a giant, highly complex single cellular organism. At least that's as close as it could be explained. With that said, they divide to reproduce, they don't sleep, if they get sick they purge: vomit out their cytoplasm (cellular jelly) and affected organelles until dead or better. Memory is genetic, and eating another lem will grant a portion or all of its memories. Lems can in theory remember back to their oldest days, but the fact is its compressed and stored way back in their subconscious, so the memories are vague, primal, often confusing, and incredibly hard to recall. Current lem a descendent from an apex super predator, as such they tend to have predatory urges. your call on how to play it...what else? when a lem divides the two new individuals are a continuation of the original one but with each new experience begin to diverge from each other to create very unique beings.
    ----

More on Hereditary Leadership. As leader of Onolkeshan tribe divides that offspring must as soon as possible combat to death as this way there will be only one ruler. Combatants are even in terms of streingth and wisdom so this will give the rulership to the one that adapts faster and such is better suited to rule.

The subconcious memory of the hardship living in the sea makes these Lems a bit wary of the watery depths. they aren't afraid of water but they dont trust it ether.

Onolkeshan huts look like igloos made of stone. Stone it is because in the past they had a little accident with fire and your house set on fire isn't nice memory to inherit.

In Onolkeshan religion animals aren't as holy as they might be to other religions. This is because while there are creatures that bring food, materials for clothing, armor and weapons, those very same creatures seek to harm them. This contadiction makes them nether holy nor evil, they are respected but at the same time hated. Lems of onolkeshan believe more in spirits. They believe that things that cannot be explained are caused by the Lems that aren't devoured after their premature deaths and so their knowledge keep lingering in this world without form. But while the knowledge is separated from their body they gain more information of the world and how it works and so they can make unusual things to happen. The most revered Knowledge is called Vagúshosod after the name of first Lem known to die and become wandering knowledge and thus has most knowledge of the world and how it works.

Onolkeshan explain the ability of other races to see visions in their dreams as situation where knowledge talks to the sleeper and grants him some of it's memories. The memories might be useful information or just useless nonsense as memories tend to be. As Lems cannot sleep there are some who have learned the ability to go into sleep like trance and while doing so they might gain visions of wisdon. Those that have learned this ability are few and thus are respected among the Onolkeshan as something akin to shaman of other races.

Lems of Onolkeshan are bit darker in color than their brethren and such are bit easier to tell apart from other Lems.

Back home in K'Lahk, the tribe continues it's daily life, each working a bit harder to take the load for those gone to the south.
The unfinished, yea, barely begun great hall stands in the rough center of the territory, far larger even in it's initial stages than anything else yet attempted by the Northern Frowgmen.

It is during this time that one young frowg, armed with his fathers 4 axes and clad in his armour, decided to do something forbidden.
    Scale Kunaba.
Taking his families tamed ramel and provisions, he makes his way to the imposing mountain in the dead of night, eager to make a name for himself and be among the first stories told in the great hall.

The combined Ta'mirel and Tundra Frowg manage to finish the bridge, but they have to return to gather more supplies because of the snowstorm. The caravan then retried, this time having easier travels because the snowstorm had abated, and the bridge is still standing strong. They manage to reach Fo'Wil territory, and helped with the locals. Nothing much was learned from them, apart that they have different mannerism and culture from the Tundra Frowgs. It was then the Ta'mirel consulted the Fo'Wil elder about their nightmares.

The Elder told the Ta'mirel representative about the legends they have, of how long ago, before the first Frowgmen ever walked on these lands, the World-Force created this world. Soon after the World-Force made creatures grow and prosper, a visitor from beyond the stars laid a flaming egg on the world, and the egg-yolk came to life. This new creature was helpful to the world, but it was but yolk. The Great Force saw that it should fulfill its destiny to be truly born, and thus, to ensure they were born, the Great Force cracked the world-land so the yolk may mature. Through this great calamity, the yolk managed to be reborn. Along with the great crack, the first Frowgmen also appeared, and according to legend it also caused the world-land to be split into four pieces.

Meanwhile, following the Compound Bow's popularity, some Lem tried to make mechanically-assisted bows. So far, these efforts are a failure. On the other hand, it turns out that instead of using Cidex liver oil, using rotten ragas fruit mixed with a bit of Cidex liver oil works marvelously. They now have flammable arrows!
Unfortunately, due to the sparse resources, the Ragas herd isn't showing any growth, population-wise.

He fought, and succeed in beating them, at the cost of his Ramel. The youth pressed on, and the higher he gets, the more snow and cold buffeted against his body. He went up, and through a blizzard. During these days his provisions dwindled. he still pressed on. After a few more days of high winds and snow, the youth was close to his limits, both mentally and physically... it was then the boy received a vision. He kept his questions to himself however, feeling the answer important, not only to the asker, but to himself. Why did he do this?
"To...prove our worth. Our worth to live in this land, to inherit it. If we are held back by such a small thing, then how can we hold our heads high."
The boy shook his head; he had said much more than he intended, or even consciously thought. Nevertheless, it was said, and he waited for a reply, gripping his axes for defense as much as comfort.

It was hard to beleive, but it was not hard for the Gregorius K'Lahk to win over the local Fo'Wil. Even the strageness of the Lem became somewhat normal. Dancing, Music...new and strange. Exciting. The young K'lahk warriors that accompanied the Lem to this village found the Fo'Wil maidens quite comely, and in turn the maidens found the K'Lahk the same. Later in the Festival came games of sport, and challenges of the mind. The K'Lahk win a number of these challenges...and when all is setteled, the prize it seems, were wives and husbands (what, both genders compete.) The most seinor of the Enclave is shocked, but the Elder of the village just grins behind his wrinkels, it is not a loss of tribesmen, but a gain to the entirety of the Frowgkind. Interbreeding would be fine but you need to consider their latest art, they're taller, leaner, and more athletic. You drew something that is dominantly north frog with stripes, no whiskers even or the residual tail.

    As for war?

I was a paddleworem from the ocean and I say kill them all.

    wait what
I'm pretty sure the Fo'Wil don't live in the trees and even use frilla as building material.
They use root, vine and even the trunk for it, see http://suptg.thisisnotatrueending.com/archive/18595526/#18602846
    http://suptg.thisisnotatrueending.com/archive/18595526/#18606608

IF this is really a problem and I overlooked it then I that was a mistake and I'll switch the order to taking fallen frilla back and salvaging usable wood from them.

If not then I'm continuing to cut some down. We been needing wood yo.
I wasn't targeting any of the Fo'Will's special frilla though, just some growing in the forest.

They don't cut down Frilla, they literally only harvest from the outer bark, vines, and roots. You have no idea how massive these trees are. They're redwoods. Bark layer makes up the actual "Wood" matter used in their crafts.

The mothers screams turned to croaks, then she melted into ash, in that ash was a primoridial frowg. and it spoke in words that could not be comprehended individually, but understood, and as it spoke, it grew and stretched and became unrecognizable until it was a giant frilla, and then again, it became a K'lahk and a Fo'Wil. "WE ARE ALL INTERCONNECTED. WE LIVE TOGETHER, WE DIE TOGETHER" The Young warrior K'Lahk woke up shouting, screaming, next to his new bride. across the encampment a lone soldier-killer lem looked at him impassively thru the eye slots of its helmet. All thru the encampment, the K'lahk share this dream, and as they woke, they discovered they could hear a constant whisper from the Frilla. It was...comforting. Somehow they knew, they must take the frilla north. The Lem stared on. Tomorrow began the frilla harvest.
    -----------
The Enclave returned back to the tundra villages, the lem reutrning home with much to share amongst the conclave. The Frowg...the Frowg returned with some missing, and some new. It had been generations since a Fo'Wil had been seen, and it was cause for celebration, but the families of those that had volunteered for the Enclave noticed something different about their loved ones.

The Ta'mirel returned, and shared their knowledge amongst the conclave. for three days straight they discussed and shared. Of music, of the news of their origins, their historical function on the planet. It exicited the Lem to know they once tended the planet, and that they are trying to do so again....that their natural urges to destroy are not who they are. It was a cultural victory. But who and what they truly were was still obscured. They spoke of new things, Dyed cloth, rumors of "the hoppa", beasts unlike anything on the tundra...most concerning was the Frilla. All the frowg around it acted strangely, almost as if they gained a sense of peace. Was it dangerous, subversive? The lem could not hear the frilla as the frowg said they could, but on the same spear point, the frowg accepted the Lem's story of the Nightmare spirit as truth. The conclave agreed that the Frilla are as sentient as the frowg claim, but they cannot communicate with them or even discern their intentions. time would show the bones of the matter. The lem have always endured.
    -------------
Only a moderate amount of frilla bark was obtained, most was given to the k'lahk for their great hall. The lack of population from the Enclave expedition hampered stone, ramel, and village growths as the population was focused on defense against the Ragas.

There seems to be plenty of these in the tunnels. they're hard enough not to be broken by digging implements, but when they are heated near a fire long enough they can soften up and be shaped by hand. The death of the shaman comes abruptly for the Nad'lun. Although the atmosphere within the tribe had been rather tense during these last few month, the shaman was still beloved by the majority of the tribe. He had guided the Nad'lun with great wisdom for decades, and his sudden passing leaves the tribe in shock.

Again, do the Nad'lun stay awake deep into the night. A grand funeral pyre is lit and the body of the shaman, along with his belogings are placed in it, so that his spirit may once again merge with the soul wind. There is no dancing this night, the Nad'lun stand and watch silently, as the fire burns away their former leader.

N'olai, is the one to lit the pyre and thus assume the role of the next shaman, although some of the elder, more experienced herders are rather skeptical about his merit for this mantle.

The next day, is still a day of mourning, but the Nad'lun still continue their duties. Hrass is harvested, hoppas herded and the scouts move out to the unknown territories past the river, in search of new grazing land.

The amulet that was grafted to the shamans head is uncovered by N'olai, beneath the ashes of the pyre, virtually unharmed. Many of the Nad'lun had already forgotten about this thing, as the shaman had only exposed it once. This discovery sends his mind in motion.
This amulet had set these events in motion in the first place. Where did it come from? What is it?

Suddenly, a sense of dread fills him. He carefully puts the amulet into his pouch, afraid of touching it, and carries it to the shaman's former hut. There he starts digging through the memories and knowledge the shaman transferred, for clues about the amulet.

Rolling for harvest, herding, scouting and memory digging.
