    These are the continuing adventures of the HMS Swagtanic. We will sail on until we can safely drown in a Sea of Bitches.

    Jun has Shinku on his lap, beside them sits Hina.
    "So Jun, Shinku. Did the twins find mediums yet?" You ask them.
    "I don't know." Jun tells you.
    "Both of them have yet to come back to our room since that party." Shinku says, "But I assume Souseiseki is getting along with Hinagiku and Suiseiseki describes finding a 'classy, cool, sophisticated' candidate."
    "Hmnn.. Hina, How are you getting along with Souseiseki? I don't see you with her much."
    "Oh, we get along fine. She mostly stays in her box in my room though. I took her with us when the twins and I went to town yesterday." She tells you.
    "So how about it? Will you be her Medium?" Shinku asks her.
    "I was actually thinking of surprising her with that today. With this extended lunch, I just may pop into the dorms to do just that."
    "That's great!" You say.
    "I leave her in your hands." Shinku says with a small nod.

    As you engaged in conversation, you did not notice the person sneaking up on you until it was too late.

    Our teleport doesn't work like that. It requires someone we consider an ally as an anchor.

    Anyway, we're not choking yet. Lean our head back and see who's got their arms around our neck before doing anything rash.

    You hurridly teleport to Erica.
    In your panic you are unable to fix the landing quite right and you land in her lap.
    "Why hello there teacakes." She says sultrily
    From your seat comes a small "OOOMPH!" sound and something crashes onto the floor.
    You are unable to see what or who it is due to the table and the seat.

    "Yay!" She says as she happily accepts them. "Thanks Hayate-Oniichan."

    She begins to attack the cupcakes.
    'Saber, What happened?' you ask her.
    The winged wand materializes beside you and answers 'Shirou got into the desserts at the end of the table. Next thing I know he turned into her.'
    'I see... Maybe sugar activates the transformation?'
    'Quite possibly.'

    >> Anonymous 04/12/12(Thu)23:33 No.18689746
    Well we keep feeding Shirou sugar for one.
    Ask her how she feels, make sure she isn't in pain.
    >> Anonymous 04/12/12(Thu)23:33 No.18689752
    What we're learning here is that Shirou can have transformation triggers added to him in order to assume a variety of superior alter egos.

    We should make it an ongoing project to load him down with so many triggers that it's virtually certain one of them will be activated within minutes of his assuming his native Shirou form, so that the world is spared having that guy wandering around in it as much as possible.
    >> Anonymous 04/12/12(Thu)23:34 No.18689761
    Sock this information away for later when we take Illya down to Dr. McNinja. Ask Illya how she feels, try to regulate the amount of sugar she eats.
    Have Saber keep track of how much sugar Illya eats, and how long the transformation stays active.

    Finish eating lunch with our team and our girls.
    >> Anonymous 04/12/12(Thu)23:34 No.18689769
    We need to keep Shirou away from candy?

    . . . Fudge.

    We should really bring him/her/it down to our potions teacher and come clean. Maybe he can cure it.
    >> Anonymous 04/12/12(Thu)23:37 No.18689822
    Well, it doesn't seem to be harmful, keep an eye on his sugar consumption, try to gauge how much it takes, how long it lasts and if how much correlates to length of transformation. Other than that goodluck, and if you ever need a cup of tea and someone to talk to about your troubles my door is always open.

    I suggest talking to Doctor McNinja when he comes back and to also consult with Ryuu for help with this problem.

    Have a bit of lunch with Erica and get back to class when lunch is over.
    >> Anonymous 04/12/12(Thu)23:37 No.18689824
    Cool, so all we have to do to get rid of Shirou is give him a sugary snack?
    >> Anonymous 04/12/12(Thu)23:37 No.18689828
    I wonder if the triggers only apply to the "base" Shirou, or to any of his states.

    For example, what if we feed Kurou sugar...
    Does he turn into Illya, or does it activate a new transformation?

    you find an interesting book on the bottome shelf, it's titled: "The rare flora of dimensions"
    You grab it and take a look inside, it's more of a kid's pop-up book, but it does list quite a few interesting plants.
    you take it and look for another.
    on the fifth shelf you find "PLANTING RARE PLANTS FOR DUMMIES", something truly suited for your purposes.

    You grab these two books and begin to head out.
    In the main corridor you see the assistant librarian Yomiko chasing after a familiar book.
    A familiar book now headed your way.
    A familia book that lands on your face with it's pages open.
    The screaming began again.

    You know, now that I think of it Shinji as we know him in his anime would make a terrible therapist. You have to understand and genuinely care about other people to be a good therapist, and the 14 year old Shinji was incredibly selfish and spineless to the point where the only reason anyone liked him was because he was a protagonist.

    He was only ever shown using sympathy as a means to compare his own misery to others, to understand how he hurt them so that he could further delve into his own self-loathing, which he would then use as an excuse to take more from others, hurting them even further in a self perpetuating cycle of destruction.

    I assume this grown up Shinji got over it somehow. Still, it's interesting.

    The honest answer is that I've never had a home for myself that I was happy with, until I came here and this is a way of assuring my inner paranoid self with abandonment issues that I'm here to stay, I have a place to come back too, somewhere I care for that I have a responsibility for, and that the people I care for are going to stay with me instead of abandoning me to sell my organs to Yakuza.

    "Well, I'm justifying it because at the rate I'm going I'm running out of room really fast and I'm trying to think of the future. That and it was a damn good deal and I didn't want to pass up on getting a beautiful home for much less than it was worth.

    Also the bed was getting really fucking cramped with five or so people on it and I just didn't have enough space in my closet for 5 peoples worth of clothing."

    "Wait 5 people? From my records I only see 3 people listed as living in your room."
    "Well, yeah but Hina and Nanoha have been spending a lot of time there too."
    "Ah, well. Do you feel like this is a good decision?"
    "Of course. It's an investment in our future."
    "An investment in your happiness?" he asks
    "Having something to look forward to is a great thing." He tells you "I hope this new home will be part of that."

    The session went by faster than you thought it could, in a blink of an eye, the hour was up.
    "I'll see you next week Hayate. Come by my office on the same day and time."
    "Thanks Shinji I will." You tell him

    You head back to your room to meet up with the girls

    You find your girls at the table talking.
    Hina has Souseiseki with her.
    "So you girls ready?" you ask them
    They all say yes.
    "Well then, let's go."

    AS you walk into town, with the twins on one side and Hina and Nanoha on the other you consider who to talk to first?

    >> Anonymous 04/13/12(Fri)04:32 No.18693998

    184, yes. By the described effects, it's fine for short exposures, such as was used for our dorm room. IIRC, it was about the duration of an afternoon.

    It also seems that a bag of holding is a safe container for it.

    Nanoha, she doesn't get enough time, talk about living arrangements that it's as much her place as ours.

    Yeah, Nanoha's starting Field training soon, too. We should ask about that.

    "Hey how was your day?" You ask her
    "It was great. MAx is still crying about this being our last week, Corn gave Vita a new hat, I showed Max how much more power I had."
    "I see. Are you exited about this new house?"
    "I am! I want to go to the beach as soon as possible!"
    "Great. Remember, this is your home as much as it is ours. Feel free to come and stay as much as you'd like."
    "Okay" And then she smiles at you. That glorious, gorgeous smile.

    "So Hina, I guess you finalized it with Souseiseki here?"
    "Yes." She shows you an ornate ring on her finger.
    "I am now her medium." she tells you.
    You then turn to the doll floating off to her side,
    "Please take care of Hina, She can be brash, violent and scary at times. But deep inside she's an amazing girl."
    "I leave myself in your care as well." Souseiseki tells you with a bow.

    Your statement earns you an elbow to your side from Hina
    "Who's violent?!" she says.
    "That girl that just crushed my kidney." You chuckle/wince

    After having similar conversations with Erica and Ursula, your group arrives in town.

    okay so maybe drinking soda after midnight is a bad idea if i plan on sleeping before 3am.
    damn it got really slow in here tonight. maybe i'll stay up for the morning thread.

    I guess I'll take this time to say thanks for running this quest LG. I was having a pretty shitty time in february when i noticed this, and it got me all excited because it is so awesome and fun.
    that sounded more eloquent in my head. whatever.
    Thanks for putting a nice shiny thing up on /tg/ that I'm happy to be a part of. you are all wonderful people and I'm glad I get to spend time with you all. keep up the excellent work elegant gentlemen.

    I have to say, the best part is that he lets us run with crazy shit

    Like Ted. First thing that popped into my head and I wrote was "we gotta tame this bugger" and everyone picked it up and now we are heading for a menagerie
    And when we did our date with Hina and LG rolled to get the result I decided to be a smart ass and roll as well and got the 100

    And none of the times we go for stupid shit he outright shoots us down, he makes it so much fun because we can do crazy shit

    Well you drew Dreadnaught Erica.

    (from old thread)
    Hey ADF since I know you are here somewhere think you could manage a picture of the girls as TF2 classes like we talked about in the other thread?
    Hina = scout
    Erica = heavy
    Sakura = pyro
    Nanoha = soldier
    Mio = demo man
    Miyafuji = medic
    Hayate = spy
    Keima = sniper

    So if Erica is a warboss
    Ursula is a Mek
    Miyafuji is a biomancer
    Mio is a rogue trader
    Trude is a commissar
    Minna is a lord general
    Shirley is a speed freek
    Lynette is a guardsman
