No Freed Borg ships and it needs to be a SHIP, not an upgrade. The rest is fine. >Updated list after recent votes:Ship Upgrade:Advanced Sensor Suite for the All Under Heaven.Infantry Choice:Salarian Field Engineer TeamYVH Combat Droid SquadVehicle/Starfighter Choices:Char Upgrade (Gaia Gear)More Prawns with exo-suits.
>>19573018How about a New Macross class battleship? Like, just the combat part, without the massive colony ship.
>>19573018Okay, what about a Macross Quarter or other Super Dimensional Fortress? Also, Codeki has found a Lantean battleship, mostly fully intact except for a damaged hyperdrive, ripe for the picking.http://stargate.wikia.com/wiki/Tria
>>19573063>>19573074A Macross or Macross Quarter would be fine.
>>19573018Preferably Gaia Gear Alpha: Raiden Variant for a better paint job and stealth technology. Also, could we get a set of Hunter Droids with artifical skin so they look human?
>>19573018Possible to swap the Salarians for C&C Engineers? We already have ME tech with the field scientists and we'll be stealing stuff from an uninhabited C&C world later. Might save us some research.Ship upgrade: Sensors is fineYVH Droids are fine (Terminators with Swars tech)Gaia Gear is fine.Prawns are fine.Ship I dunno.
>>19573119You mean artificial skin for the YVHs? Yeah, I guess.
>>19573169Probably a good idea. I've got a good plan for sending our Looter team to the ME universe and we could use the variety.
>>19573018What ships would be of the most use to us?I'm thinking something from Star Trek for its Hax teleporters, Hax holodecks, Hax replicators, Hax transphasic cloaks, and its shields aren't that shabby.
>>19573171Could we get a New Macross-class ship, just the Battle portion and without the Colonization ship part?

>>19573250Can it manufacture shit?If so, I desire it.
>>19573261It contains a large amount of drones, is completely immune to electronic warfare and contains a massive set of cloning vats. It's also got a hell of a large hanger.
While it's probably safe to assume the Shipyard will come with all its production facilities built, will it come with any of the non-essential sensor and subsysem upgrades? (http://rakrent.com/rtsc/html/hwii3_02.htm has information for those unfamiliar with Homeworld 2)
>>19573295I value it.I wish to obtain this item.
>>19573250I'll allow it. Since you're getting Gallente ships anyway, I'll add a synergy bonus that will increase the amount of ships you'll get for the patrol fleet.>>19573205I already said yes. I'll include some VFs with it if you choose this one.
>>19573300No, but you will have the opportunity to build them by expending resources.
>>19573332That's tempting. Drones and a few more Gallente Ships, or more Valkyries and a ship equipped with a Reflex Cannon and Reflex Drive.
as a hero choice, oscar- he would be great for S.U.E killing missions due to being immune to them
>>19573442We get no heroes.
>>19573461We get Gaunt don't we?
>>19573442also, can we get the doctor (doctor who) or mewtwo (anime/movie version)
>>19573442>>19573512Caution: Intelligence reaching minimum levels
Voting for the Nyx.Our anti-perma-death measures require cloning tanks, and much as I would like a Reflex Cannon and more VF's, we need additional cloning tanks more.
My vote is for the Nyx
>>19573461what do you mean we dont get heroes? where did we get gaunt, data, spike, and starlord?
>>19573580We don't have any Hero Requisitions during this Requisition Phase. How difficult of a concept is that to understand?
>>19573580Data was shortly before Ebon Night's lolworld.Spike was with us from the beginning, as was Gaunt.Star-Lord was picked up after the Dark Matter world.
>>19573512No.>>19573169We could get both. The whole purpose of the Salarians is to provide personnel that only need to sleep 1-2 hours per day as opposed to the more common 8 hours, in addition to their prowess at researching/engineering. If we've merely confirmed just the Prawn suits, we still have 3 remaining squad requisitions.
>>19573615We've already gribbitygrabbed:Mobile Infantry from [book] Starship TroopersSalarian ScientistsMecha-GodzillaSome R-type that I forgot exactly what we grabbedA shipyard, Hiigaran I think.
MetaOP, what about the Indefatigable? Will we be able to repair it completely with our new engineering capabilities while here at base, or will we need to send it along with the Looter team to the Star Trek Online Canon to get fixed?
>>195736484 days until it's fixed, Virtun used more Haaaaaaaaaaaaaax! From D&D.
>>19573591got it. sorry. i did not realize that that was what codeki meant.
>>19573666And it takes almost no time at all for the repair yards of Drozana Station to fix a critically damaged starship. And MetaOP still needs to approve that the spell works on an advanced starship.
>>19573636Ah. Alright.Seconding the Gaia Gear Gundam, more Prawns.Seconding the Nyx, since the cloning tanks will come in real handy as will the ECM immunity.Seconding Sensor Upgrade for the AUH.
>>19573741With the Nyx, it seems that requisitions are finally all wrapped up.I'll type up the full list in a bit. Anything you want to do while you're at HQ?You were doing Tosh's mission next, yes?
>>19573797>Anything you want to do while you're at HQ?Sitrep.Check our forces for fatigue / exhaustion, see if any of them need time off.Ask if any other entities have been in the sector, other than Blops and Yellowman.Check our supplies of food, medicine, ammo. What, replicators? Okay, skip that part.Verify that the command crew are all sane and functioning normally.Check yer gear, Check yer body, Check yer mind, Check yer mission. We're headin' to Tosh next, yes.
>>19573797Confirmation that Salvage spell will work on the Indefatigable. While we're here at Sector HQ, let's update all of our Canon databases. Also, any word from the Black Ops fleet?
>>19573797How long would we have to wait if we put 100% research on Psi-shields for them to finish?
>>19573797Didn't Cheryl say she had something to tell us that she learned from touching Dr. Grimm's mind?I think it might be around time that we heard what she discovered, if she's up for it of course.
>>19573838It'd be better to finish the S2 engine and RED-generic first, wouldn't it?
>>19573827>We're headin' to Tosh next, yes.Not without working Psi Shields we're not.The Swarm would be drawn to our Farseers and Cheryl like sharks to a whale carcass.
>>19573797If we're at HQ, will requesting blueprints of vehicles and such require some sort of payment or trade to requisitions? I was thinking we could get some blueprints for the Anateus. For that matter, what kind of technology do the vehicles built by the Anateus use?
>>19573855Good point.Better lootwhore some things. C&C world, some non-lynchpins, etc. while stuff gets researched. Is it possible for the Command Crew to go do things out of sector, e.g. stopping by at a Mass effect / Star Trek Online / Warcraft / DOSH world?
>>19573870>careless use of pronounsThat is, I was wondering if we could get some blueprints for the people who man the creation engine to use to create more designs. As opposed to getting a solid design and deconstructing it.
Can we go to a canon and recruit from Ninjas?
>>19573797Waiting for op.
>>19573827Well... you're as sane as you've always been. That's something, right?Everyone else is managing. It helps that the last world wasn't a horror cesspool.>>19573829Virtun can indeed cast the spell to restore the Indefatigable, but he must periodically invest it with mystical energies, taking up that spell slot until the ship is complete.>>19573855Actually, Tosh believes that by working together, the psychics of the ship can create a psionic screen to hide them from detection, perhaps even acting as an interdiction field for psionic communication as well. It's a variant on a discipline used by Spectres to sneak past Ghosts. You're not sure how long it would take to research a new version of Psi-shielding, but the University of Planet research team DOES have blueprints for basic Psi-Armor that the UoP used to equip vehicles and teams that worked with mindworms.

>>19574174I'm not familiar with that. Is it a blueprint database for every Gundam ever or the like? Then no.
>>19574131How extensive will the construction capabilites of the Hiigaran shipyard be? Will we have access to the older Kushan and Somtaaw designs as well as the HW2 stuff, or will we need to trade for those? If so, what's the price?
>>19574164could we use the Industrial Replicators we picked up to make some Federation Teleport systems to trade to pilots for it. Either that or replicators.Would that be too big of a meta-violation?
>>19574131>>19574131Alrighty. Here's two VTOL designs that may prove to be cheap to produce and very effective at the same time:http://www.sarna.net/wiki/Aeronhttp://www.sarna.net/wiki/DonarAeron is a fast VTOL that uses boosters instead of rotors. TComp + ERLLaser = fast harasser with fairly accurate long range weapon.Donar is a slower VTOL, but lacks an XL engine. It also uses clantech, enabling it to attack from a longer range with its ER-Large Laser. The twin SSRMs provide it a limited ability to do close-range strikes. For non-combat purposes, the schematics for a Starcraft SCV may come in handy as a labor multiplier.
>>19574194Yeah, pretty much. In SD Gundam you can fill up your database, and once you develop a Mobile Suit you can make it forever. The latest had all series up to Awakening of the Trailblazer, and a shitton of game only and MSV suits.
>>19574116It wouldn't hurt to get some psi-armor for our resident psychics, if it doesn't cause them to have brain hemorrhages or stuff. Do some testing to see if its effective in hampering detection of the psychics that wear them. The Zerg/Protoss are especially sensitive psychics, and it'd be nice to have an extra layer of insurance.
>>19574211The Hiigaran Shipyard has all the blueprints of all the Hiigaran Ships it is normally capable of building.>>19574231You can be furnished with most Inner-Sphere blueprints, but the blueprints for Clan-Tech aren't freebies.>>19574217Your industrial replicators can produce transporters, but not more replicators.
>>19574417Can the Advanced Engineering Bay manufacture more replicators if we need them? Can we have personnel psi-armor produced by the engineers at Sector HQ for all of our psychics while our own engineers work on finishing the Portable Holo-Emitters and installed the Industrial Replicators in the All Under Heaven? Also, get the psychics working with Tosh now so that when we enter the SC Canon, they can erect a psionic interdiction screen immediately. And any word from the Black Ops fleet or Yellowman?
>>19574417I doubt the Clans don't even appreciate the Donar. Ah well. Can we get the schematics for: Aeron VTOL and the Regulator Hovertank?
rolled 93, 66 = 159>>19574461The AEB can produce a basic replicator that can produce most items, but falls short of replicating Trek-level tech.Checking to see if Sector HQ's engineering staff is clear...Tosh immediately takes the Farseers and Cheryl aside.>>19574504You can get the Aeron no problem. Wobbly tech is tough, but since a corp grabbed and marketed it, it's easy enough. Regulator blueprints are also doable. Rolling to see if you can get the Donar...
>>19574586>The AEB can produce a basic replicator that can produce most items, but falls short of replicating Trek-level tech.So the only way to get Trek-level replicators is to get them from a Star Trek Canon? There's no way to upgrade our manufacturing ability? Or does it all require the infrastructure of a planet in order to build the components, so that even though we have the complete schematics of the technology, replicators can only be replicated at Sector HQ, MetaEarth, or one of the colony worlds?
>>19574627Our manufacturing ability is pretty well off. We did just pick up the replicators that can rebuild a planet's infrastructure in two days.
>>19574627The only way to get Trek-replicators is from a Trek-world, yes. They contain certain rare elements not present in other worlds necessary for the crazier things they are capable of.>>19574586With that 93, not only do you gain those blueprints, but you can choose either all Inner-Sphere+WoB/ComStar blueprints, OR Clan-Tech. And the Sector HQ staff will have the psi-armor suits ready for you before you leave.
>>19574646It could still be better though. Like, can we replicate the 5-dimensional spatial knot used in quantum torpedoes? Or the knots of space-time used in Star Wars repulsorlift systems? This is why I wanted to get a Schlock Mercenary military fabber; we have the ability to replicate molecular and atomic structures, but we still lack the gravitational manipulation tools to manufacture space-time warping technologies in an automated, high-output manner.
>>19574681Wouldn't Clan-Tech be better to get, especially since we can manufacture spare parts and components for it with the Creation Engines and C4I Replicators since we got the schematics?
>>19574417In which case we need to get our hands on, at least, the schematics for salvage corvettes. We have a few options here; either we purchase them from one of the Kiithid before Kharak burns or see if we can get them during the period of rebuilding once the survivors take back the homeworld.Other options for consideration are blueprints for either the Somtaaw or Kadeshi multi-beam frigates. The Somtaaw would probably be easier to persuade, but if I recall correctly the Kadeshi variant had beams that were almost on par with the full-size beams used by the Kushan.
>>19574681What does the Clan-Tech choice include? Weaponry and/or vehicles and/or battlemechs and/or miscellaneous 'tech like exoskeletons?
>>19574681Voting to get Clan-Tech blueprints, and to see if the TG has the schematics for the Salvage Corvette up on the Meta-Net for free download.
Could we attempt to get a set of blueprints from Universal Century Gundam Online instead of the "Every gundam ever" set?
>>19574826You can get the Salvage Corvette.
>>19574840You can request a set of blueprints from UC Gundam. You're not sure how much you'll get, though.
>>19574826Clan-tech is better in terms of brute force, but remember that IS/Comstar/WoB stuff includes funky technology that might combine well with the rest of our units. Such as C3i and VDNI and cybernetic implants. Not to mention that the sheer volume of stuff that the IS/CS/WoB has means that we can have a vehicle or 'mech or aerospace fighter for any occasion.
>>19574840UCGO? Ew, no. That had like no variation, unless you want nothing more then Zakus, Gelgoogs, Gundams, and GMs. See if we can at least get plans from the Universal Century timeline, it's all interconnected anyways.
>>19574865Can we do that please? And that includes a shot at the game suits and MSVs, correct?
>>19574849>>19574865Okay, so we got the Salvage Corvette.Let's see what we can get from UC Gundam. Also, any other votes for Clan-Tech vs. IS/WoB-Tech? We're tied right now.

>>19575012Eh, let's go with Clan-tech. We already got Federation medical staff on hand; they can probably outdo anything the WoB can cook up in terms of cybernetics. Clan BA is mighty tasty, and we can probably modify the vehicles to match the capabilities of IS vehicles such as the Alacorn or Schreck. Clan Aerospace is also decent, they just need better pilots and a culture that doesn't shit all over anything that isn't related to a battlemech.
>>19575144Status Updates:Has Virtun completed repairing the Indefatigable by magic? Are Tosh and the other psychics ready to do their psionic interdiction screen thing?Would wearing the psi-armor negatively affect our psychics?Have the Industrial Replicators been installed on the All Under Heaven? The Engineers were supposed to have finished constructing the Portable Holo-Emitters on Day 1; can we task them to have created Toxiguns and Aglaophotis-A dart magazines and Aglaophotis-A gas grenades during Day 2 and Day 3?The Techno-Wizards were working on additional Armor of Ithan spellcaster armor; how many more suits have they finished? Finally, have the Guru's finished Finalon's new bow?
>>19575144Hey MetaOp, I was wondering. Why is Gundam Universe Tech seemingly so rare compared to everything else? I mean, you're willing to throw Clan Tech, Valkyries, EVE stuff, ect at us.

>>19575209>>19575144Oh, and did our scientists finish any of their research projects? We were working on S2 Organ, Emergency Beam-Out Cortical Stack, and RED-Generic.
rolled 77 = 77>>19575213Oh the mass produced stuff is fine, I'm just not going to let you grab the blueprints for the Turn A or the 00 hax. If you'd rolled higher, you might've gotten some of the better designs. And you wouldn't have gotten that Clan-tech if I hadn't rolled a friggin' 93.>>19575209Virtun still needs a day or two.Tosh feels the other psychics are ready. The replicators are installed.Yes, the Engineers will have completed enough Aglaophotis-A grenades to equip a squad. They're still working on the toxiguns. The psi-armor isn't resilient to physical damage and would replace Tosh's Spectre suit and Cheryl's hardsuit. The Eldar simply incorporated it into their armor. That's its only drawback. The bow is completed!Another 6 suits of Spellcaster armor have been completed.
>>19575359Okay, I'll put down in the Inventory that we have the 3 Portable Holo-Emitters, and the engineers are still working on the toxiguns.Details on the Bow please? Also, what about research progress?
>>19575359If Tosh evaded infestation/detection by the Zerg for over 10 years, he'd probably be OK without it. He sees a lot of action, so he'll probably need the Spectre armor for protection.Cheryl's probably not going to engage in much CQC or physical combat if we play our cards right and don't come down with a sudden case of the stupids. I say we equip her with the armor, but have the hardsuit on standby in case things get truly desperate.
>>19575359So yeah any news with Cheryl?Like she feeling more or less recovered from all that unpleasantness with Dr. Grimm?
>>19575359This was me.Finalon's Bow: This compound bow is constructed of advanced and magical materials, enchanted to guide any arrows it fires to its target. A magitech device also sheathes the arrows it fires in a coat of plasma. >>19575267RED-Generic completes, as does the Emergency Beam Out Cortical Stacks.
>>19575359So it's okay for us to grab the Turn X and Qan[T] then?
>>19575452Does Cheryl feel up to talking to us? She wanted to before we went to the OMG! world, but she wasn't feeling ready yet.
I warned you guys. This is why I suggested easier stuff like a GN-X IV, or Cherudim Gundam, or at least a Victory Gundam Hexa -- I had a feeling we'd get pinched on the possibility of mass-producing the hax mechs from Gundam.
>>19575493At least this means that it'll be easy to grab plans for the Mass Produced Qubeley when we get our Puru Swarm.
>>19575452We're going to need to begin production of RED-Generic as soon as we finish the toxiguns. Also, how much effort would it take to upgrade our current Cortical Stacks to the EBO Cortical Stacks? And can the Industrial Replicators replicate the EBOC Stacks for us?What about RED-Generic?I also suggest that we put the RED-Generic and Emergency Beam-Out Cortical Stack schematics out on the TG Meta-Net for general use by all sectors.
>>19575359Ok. For the research, I'd like to put 20% into "Mass-production: Robot Masters" to get the designs into the Hercules. Then, the remaining research on Psi-shield or "Reverse Engineer: Stolen Reality Emitter."
Oh, MetaOP, are all of the new ships, and Mecha-Godzilla, equipped with the Capital Ship-grade Mk. II Reality Emitter?
>>19575558>Mass Production: Robot MastersAnd what better time than now?http://themegas.bandcamp.com/album/history-repeating-blue
Cossack can just load his blueprint files to the Hercules. No need to dismantle Skull and Pharoah man for the database addition.
>>19575558By "Mass-production: Robot Masters" do you mean its prerequisite, "WilyCorp DataCore"?
>>19575611Yeah, that one. Thought it was implied that to load the blueprints into the Hercules, we'd need to pull them out of the core first.
>>19575611Oh, and I forgot to ask, is the Mobile Infantry Squad a Veteran unit or not? If not, I'll keep them separate from our original MI squad. Also, I'll assume that Sector HQ equipped all new troops with Mk. II Reality Emitters. That okay?
>>19575611I suppose so.
>>19575626Dammit, another question: same question about the Prawn Combat Suit squad. The Exo-suit is the same thing, so should I combine the two squads into a single Prawn Combat Suit Squad (40/40)? Will that mess up your XP tracking?
>>19575666It will.>>19575626The MI squad you just got is not a Veteran, no.Yes, the new troops come with the upgraded emitters.
>>19575699>It will.Okay.Then what I'll do is keep the two Prawn units separate on paper, and label them Prawn Combat Suit Squad A and B. As players, we'll specify which one we're deploying, or if we're deploying both.I'll do the same with the Mobile Infantry. Will that help your accounting?
>>19575729The A team will be the older, more experienced one. The B team will be the new squad we got this Requisition Phase.
>>19575558I agree with 20% into the WilyCorp DataCore project, and the other 30% into the Psi Shield research project.
>>19575729Yes, thank you. With all the logistics out of the way...Tosh has already acquired the coordinates for the target world as well as the target systems, Bel Shir and Redstone. He has also a list of other potential locations for jorium and terrazine. He also has the location of a former Confederate Black Ops facility that might have salvageable gear, he was irritated to find that the other locations he had earmarked for raids were unworkable. How do you want to approach this?I'll handle the Cheryl talk a bit later. It requires some preparation.
>>19575990We should probably go for the Confederate Tech first. The Jorium and Terrazine were never mentioned in Zerg quest. I'd prefer to do this as stealthily as possible.
>>19575990We first equip the RVF-25 with an Incursion Holo-Emitter.We transit out of the Meta near the system that has the Confederate Black Ops facility. We immediately erect the psionic screen, and have the RVF-25 warp into the system, and with all of its stealth systems up, scans the planet and the facility for hostiles. If it's safe, we warp in the task force and begin the process of salvage. Then we'll do the mining at Bel'Shir and Redstone III.
>>19576059Wait. We have Alkeshes.MetaOp. How big are the cargo holds on the AUH. If they're large enough, we could just steal the whole damn buildings and loot it in the cargo hold.
>>19576086Yes, we have Al'Keshes with cloaking devices. BUT!StarCraft has Detector units, which could pierce the cloak. At least with the RVF-25, it has a longer sensor range, and ECM systems to interfere with Detector units.
>>19576025>>19575990Seconding the Confed. facilities. Those resocialization tanks are going to do wonders for the flexibility of our pilots/infantry once we modify them to not be indoctrinating machines. Those tech lab and reactor addons might also yield some useful technology. We gotta be careful for vengeful abandoned Ghosts, Spectres, automated defenses, and possibly a Zerg infestation.
>>19575990MetaOP, I've finished updating our To-Do List (with research projects) and our Inventory.I've labeled the older, more experienced MI and Prawn squads as A, and the new guys are B.Also, I've noted that all new ships we received via Requisitions as being equipped with Capital Ship-grade Reality Emitter Mk. II's. Same with Mecha-Godzilla, since we put one on him during his last deployment.
Executor cargo capacity: 250,000 metric tonsIt can carry prefabricated base-parts, so it's not unfeasible you could beam some of the base buildings aboard directly.
>>19576342I think we're going with this plan:>>19576059No one else has put forward anything else.
>>19576059Also: see if we can perform scans in surrounding systems to see if we can detect incoming warp jumps. If there's a huge Confederacy/Dominion/Zerg fleet warping in to loot the base, it would be a good to have some advance warning. Also, if we need to land personnel on the ground, who should we send?
>>19576428I'd suggest we sent Gondegal and some droids in first.VP-99 and VP-98 to scan the area, droid squad to check out the buildings.
rolled 82 = 82>>19576059Your ships assemble in transpace jump formation, the drives aboard the All Under Heaven and Oncoming Storm spinning up to full power, then enveloping the fleet in a transpatial bubble that pulls them into the new world.Tosh, Cheryl, and the Farseers are on the bridge in a loose circle formation, their eyes closed as they focus their power to mask any psionic signatures the fleet might give off.Your RVF launches and begins warping closer as your fleet arrives in deep space a few light-minutes from the furthest planet in the system.
>>19576521Have the All Under Heaven and the Oncoming Storm begin scanning for any power signatures; Terran, Zerg, or Protoss. Also, we forgot to send the Looter Team on their mission.I'm voting to have them get the Tria and bring it back to Sector HQ for repairs and refit. It's a relatively easy target, as it was left adrift in deep inter-galactic space.
Hey guys, we didn't send our looter teams on dispatch, nor did we send the Gunstar pilot and the dystopia ships to accompany the looters either.
>>19576521MetaOP, can the Industrial Replicators replicate the EBO Cortical Stacks?I'd like to implant all of our fighter pilots with them before we have to fight any Protoss or Zerg.
>>19576566No signals in range.>>19576521The planet below is a lush jungle, free of any signs of civilization for the most part. The RVF misses it on its first sweep, but manages to find it during a second, a small cluster of camouflaged buildings built around a sheer cliff face. A large mesa, overgrown with foliage is directly adjacent to it. The RVF can immediately discern the buildings are all shielded with a form of stealth technology, dramatically lowering their signature on a sensor scan.
>>19576682Do they appear to be powered and inhabited? Our intel said this was supposed to be abandoned.
>>19576646I'll have to think on that. Anyway, stopping here for the night. I'll pick this up tomorrow.
>>19576694Your RVF picks up very weak power signals from the base, but its scans show no obvious signs of habitation.
>>19576726Okay, thanks. That's enough for us to begin making plans.Sounds like we should have an Al'Kesh warp in under cloak, and set down a bit away from the facility. Have Gondegal, VP-99, VP-98, and a squad of droids with Observer support in the Al'Kesh. They should be able to scout the facility discretely, especially if Gondegal goes in first to make sure there's no one in the facility.
>>19576521Just in case:Have the other Valks suit up for the Armored Packs right now for standby. Have four of the Exceliza be configured to use the Hunter weapon. Have the others set to use the Wide and Laser. Have the entire squad have their CRAW units charged up. Ditto for the Vic Vipers. Charge up their options and their shields. Configure them for missiles and the Ripple Laser. The R-Types, in any engagement, are going to be attacking the biggest opponents and firing from the rear lines with wave cannons.
>>19576746Alternatively, we could have the Aurors scry the building first.
Here's my take on what to do.Research:Finish up S2 EngineKeep going for Wily's DataslateKeep going for Psi ShieldsManufacturing:Get enough EBOCS and RED-Generic for everyone.Get Powered armor, Shields, and any powerful infantry weapon [We have UoP researchers, which means Plasma shards at the very least] up on our troops. If we can somehow Manufacture stuff that speeds up our Manufacturing, go for it.If this system has unoccupied moons, asteroids, or comets of an appropriate size to feed into our mineral stores, get on it.Might find a good deal of Diamonds in them, too. Carbon's a common mineral and any Impact event is gonna make Diamonds (Pressure + Heat + Anoxic environment)If our troops aren't currently assigned to anything, have our troops either relax to reduce their stress, or train to increase their skills.

>>19575144>Nyx CarrierThat's SUPERCarrier, thank you.Or Mothership, depending on when we got it from the Canon. If I'm on during the quest, be sure to expect me to abuse the Eve-Online ships for everything they are worth when they are relevant. As it is, I will be away for the weekend. I can probably fit out a preferred loadout for it later, if MetaOP wants.>1/3
Until then, a few things about the Nyx:Is almost, but not quite, the same size as the All Under Heaven.Has fuckawesome Capital Sized Shield and Armor Remote Repair ability. If any of our ships relatively close to it gets in trouble, have the Nyx train a Remote Repair on it, and the target ship will be practically invincible. While it has only average supercapital shielding, it's armor is very, very thick and reinforced and capable of withstanding multiple hits from Doomsday weapons. Most likely outfitted to increase armor resistance by a large amount, and a single self-repair module.Has very, very spacious and pleasurable onboard crew accommodations from what fluff I can recall. Can be outfitted with a Remote ECM Burst, which is basically a wave of "Fuck your targeting systems" centered on a designated target. http://wiki.eveonline.com/en/wiki/Remote_ECM_Burst_IFleet Assist Modules, so many to choose from. They all work as long as the Nyx stays in the same solar system as the rest of the fleet. I highly suggest picking one and only one, so we can still have room for all the other cool stuff. http://wiki.eveonline.com/en/wiki/Item_Database:Ship_Equipment:Gang_Assist_ModulesHas a ship Maintenance Bay Capacity of 2500000 m3.Already has a Jump Drive installed, though I would like MetaOP to clarify if it has a Meta-Transit Drive as well, it being a Supercapital ship and all. If not, make one.Can be equipped with a Cloaking Device, but the ones in Eve-Online would only allow it to move at a fraction of it's regular speed while cloaked, and you can't Warp or Jump with it active.Gets even more bonuses to Drone, Fighter, and Fighter Bomber damage than the other races Supercarriers. Idea! When using Drones planetside, link them to our shiny new Nyx's drone management system for extra bonuses! It's got the bandwidth for it, that's for sure.Needs a name.>2/3
Eve-Online drones can be assigned to assist or guard allied ships. The Gallente Navy Task Force could easily sit back at sniping range and assign drones to our close range snubfighters/Gundams in a space fight, while the Nyx could do the same from almost anywhere in the Solar system.Warning! Never let Eve-Online ships enter atmosphere. Ever. Re-entry does horrible things to Tritanium based hulls. Finally, make sure all of our new ships all have proper Capital Reality Emitters installed. If we don't have them, make them our top Manufacturing priority. So, if this works out like a Nyx does ingame, we can have it either hiding away somewhere as a backup surprise while only providing fleet bonuses and assigning Fighters to assist the rest of the fleet, have it run management on planetside drones, or have it run Logistics repair and Fleet Bonuses while tanking heavy fire from enemy fleets like a champ and spewing out drones, fighters, and bombers like a giant hive of pissed off Killer Bee's.>3/3
>>19579704>When using Drones planetside, link them to our shiny new Nyx's drone management system for extra bonusesWe can probably get even more bonuses by linking Isel Yew, our Drone Rigger, into the Nyx.>>19579792>make sure all of our new ships all have proper Capital Reality Emitters installedI made note of all new capital ships and MechaGodzilla having Capital Ship-grade Mk. II Reality Emitters installed (as per previous Requisition Phases, starfighters and mechs do not automatically receive Vehicle-Grade Reality Emitters).I told MetaOP several times that I was doing it, and since he hasn't said anything, all new capital ships are listed in the Inventory as having Capital Ship-grade Reality Emitters installed.
Oh, and I almost forgot. We should pick another one of these to put on the Gallente Navy Task Forces Astarte class command ship. http://wiki.eveonline.com/en/wiki/Item_Database:Ship_Equipment:Gang_Assist_ModulesFor instance, we could put this on the Nyx http://wiki.eveonline.com/en/wiki/Information_Warfare_Link_-_Sensor_Integrity and have it boost our already Enhanced Sensors on the AUH and Oncoming Storm, and we could put this on the Astarte and gain boosts to the entire fleets shields. http://wiki.eveonline.com/en/wiki/Siege_Warfare_Link_-_Shield_Harmonizing
Page 6, 5 hours till likely restart, beginning orbital realignment to page 1.And Go!
Looks like things are getting started.Well I only read the start of zerg quest but I think that anon-lord/celebrate/mind managed to attach cloaking on the zerg. Also cloaking requires power, implying an online reactor. Units send down should expect trouble.
MetaOP, back at HQ Holtz said that they were able to cure that SUE that Azalin had been using for experiments. Does this mean that when we research the SUE-Cure, that part of the research will already be complete, and the project will be finished faster because a chunk of it is already completed? Also, now that Finalon's vow is finished, I think we should give the Guru's another project, something that Mustadio can help with. I'm thinking a magitek wristwatch for the Heroes we send into battle that can give them an on-command Haste 3 times a day. Sure, they could get a hit of Haste from the spellcasters, but this let's them do it when immediately needed. Maybe also provide anti-time manipulation protection, so they become immune to Slow and similar effects.
bumping for LOOTAN!
>>19584566It'd be easier to enchant their boots with speed.http://www.d20srd.org/srd/magicItems/wondrousItems.htm#bootsofSpeed
So, for those familiar with EVE online, how much firepower/armor/DROOOONE power did we exactly get with that Gallente task force? I've been looking at the wiki, but since I've never played the game before I can only speculate based on other people's descriptions.
>>19585594the command ship alone is a metric Fuckton in size, you can stick most of the really good weapons on it with little trouble and its nearly the size of the "All Under Heaven"its a full on battle fleet. not much else to say.
>>19584566Yes, that will be faster.I return. What do?
>>19585962Could we get a couple engineers to look over the Gundam blueprints and start making prototype TGbein plans.
>>19586030Eh, I'd wait. It's just the Ez-8, GM Quel and GM Cannon II. >>19585962Have Gondegal, and the probe droids with observer support start checking out the facility, have Gondegal take point because he's totally a ghost.
>>19586030Get Mouse, the Rigger, Cossack and Data to look over the wilycorp datacore. Also give them schematics on all of our DROOOOONES in case they want to start building Robot masters on their own.
>>19585962First have the Aurors scry the Confederate facility to see if it's inhabited. Then we have an Al'Kesh with VP-99 & 98, Gondegal, an Observer, and a droid squad warp into the system with its cloak up. It enters orbit and sends Gondegal to check the facility first. If it appears like the defenses aren't active, then the droids and Observer go in. Everything looks safe, the Task Force warps into orbit and we can begin salvage operations.
rolled 13 = 13>>19586135The Aurors attempt to scry into the facility...
rolled 30 = 30>>19586237Oh my...
>>19586237>>19586253I don't like the look of them rolls. Or the OP's commentary!
>>19586237>>19586253>>19586270Nor should you! When the Aurors attempt to magically scry the facility, their magical energies seem to brush up against an ethereal presence sleeping in the depths of the base. The energies are immediately sucked away, disrupting the spell and triggering what seems to be a chain reaction. The presence awakens with a psionic scream that sends the Aurors reeling back as what looks like streams of bright energy begin boiling from the base and the mesa, coalescing into the vague outline of a giant, ethereal bird. It gives another psionic shriek, then takes wing, breaking the atmosphere and soaring into deepspace with startling speed...
>>19586386UH OH. UHOH.Should we warp out? Try to squash it with our psychics? ahhh!
>>19586386Oh crap. The swarm is not going to appreciate that.
>>19586386>>19586386This might be the creature we're looking at:http://starcraft.wikia.com/wiki/Energy_creatureIt seems to leave Terrans alone, except for ones that it pisses off. But it appears to eat Zerg and Protoss. Not sure how it'll react to Eldar.
>>19586386When this happens, two further things appear. The first is that the base below shows greatly increased signs of power usage, the RVF now picking up multiple heat signatures that were invisible to it before. The second is that the Auror's scrying-pool displays a protoss high templar aboard a Command-Carrier, locked in battle and losing. Intricate psionic circuitry and crystalline control nodes explode in the background as the ship loses ground rapidly. Then the vision fades."Hokay..." Tosh murmurs. "There be nothin' in my information 'bout any of dis."
>>19586386OH FUCK IT'S THE PHOENIX FUCKING RUNHIDE THE REDHEADS
>>19586472Where are the heat signatures and the protoss commander at? Can we get a reading on what they are exactly?
>>19586472If we're here post-battle of Aiur, the Protoss Templar might be Koronis, as displayed on the Starcraft wiki: http://starcraft.wikia.com/wiki/Koronis.Alternatively, if we're in the Zerg Quest canon, it could be Tassadar engaging the Anon-Cerebrate in battle and losing. But he escapes despite the destruction of the Gantrithor, and lives MUCH longer than his canon counterpart.
>>19586472Also, OP... Where is that psi-bird-thing heading to? Is it speeding towards our ships or is it warping out of the system?
>>19586595After only a few minutes, it has left the system and you lose tracking of it. It doesn't seem to be warping, but rather traveling with more speed than should be physically possible.>>19586544You have no idea, no protoss ships appear to be in system.
>>19586736Should we continue with scouting the base then?
>>19586811Might as well. What do our sensors say about the heat signatures.
>>19586852The RVF can tell power is still running strong to the base's Science Facility, which also seems to be where the alien being came from. Can the RVF get life readings?
>>19586994I don't know. If it doesn't then we need to get the Al'Kesh there with Gondegal and the Observer. Have ANON begin calculating the phoenix's course and see where it's heading.
>>19586736Can we project the it's most likely destination base from it's last know trajectory?
>>19586994We probably should've done this from the get-go, but ask Tosh if he knows the name of this system/planet.
>>19587058Also, ask the psychics if they can detect any strong psionic emanations from the system. Excluding the giant-bird thing that just flew away.
>>19587021>>19587037Guys, if it's not bugging us, leaving the Super Powerful Energy Being alone. Let's get what we came here for done.
Let's see how we're going today
>>19579704>Needs a name.Nyx is a pretty cool name.
>>19587121How about the "Nocturne"?
>>19587076My opinion on what to do:Leave the bird alone if it's not after us, and for the love of god keep the psi shield upKeep the scouting going. We've got sensor scans, we should be able to long-range scout it.Tosh, what's the name of this system? We could always just grab more minerals than we need on Redstone and buy terran crap from Kel-Moria [or what's left of it].Come to think of it, Reality Distortions. Are there any in this canon? If so, roughly where are they coming from?
>>19587058"They jus' call it Kolt.">>19587064"No... Well... Not strong enough to detect all the way up here, anyway," Cheryl says.
We've got the Hercules, the Shipyard, the Replicator and the Nyx. Can we make some kind of Scout Drones that could approach the base and scout for things?Or would that be a totally stupid wasteful idea given that we already have sensors?Farseers, I want you to NOT scry the bird, and Aurors, I want you to NOT scry the bird. Those things eat magical energy, so we don't need to tell it that we even exist.
>>19587193I figure that with Isel, the Nyx, a bunch of spare drones from our shipmaking stuff, VP-99, Sensor support, and one or two of those YVH-droids we got, we should have enough dronage to scout the facility.Gondegal needs to go back to orbit because if there's an energy-eater stored here, it's not safe for him. Energy eaters eat ghosts, you know.Once the Bird has gone away, loot any non-canon-important asteroids or small moons for raw resources. Most of our crew won't be occupied during this point in time. Wish we could somehow get a manpower bonus to manufacturing.
>>19587189>>19587189Alright. So no obscenely powerful psionic stuff down on the planet as far as we know. So probably no Archons or Cerebrates or stuff. Good to know.I propose that we have the Storm run a scan of the facility and try to see if there are any lifesigns present. Beam down an Observer and have it do the same.
>>19587189ANON, begin scanning for reality distortions in this Canon. Our releasing of the Energy Being could have messed up the Canon.Have the Al'Kesh with VP-99 & 98, Gondegal, an Observer, and a droid squad warp into the system with its cloak up. It enters orbit and sends Gondegal to check the facility first. If it appears like the defenses aren't active, then the droids and Observer go in.
>>19587382Negative on Gondegal. If that energy thing comes back or if there are smaller versions of it in the facility, it might try to eat our resident ghost-paladin.
>>19587409We've got loads of drones to explore with now, along with sensor scans. The only real issue is waiting for MetaOp to roll.Do we get bonuses from both the Nyx and Isel, or only one of them?
>>19587382The Storm does not detect any reality distortions. You send Gondegal done, the ghost making a perimeter sweep of the facility. Most of the buildings appear to be abandoned, and there are no obvious defenses around the Science Facility the RVF got readings from.
>>19587441Have Gondegal hang back for now, and bring in the Observer for some closer scans. The Observer should be able to detect life signs, because of its psionic circuitry. Also, Can Isel Yew jack in through the Nyx's drone control systems to help coordinate the droid squad and Observer, and give them a bonus? If he can, do so.Are the heat signatures inside the facility moving at all?
>>19587441Any command centers, barracks, supply depots, academies, tech labs, etc. amongst them?We could send down a mass-manufactured disposable drone squad to establish a beach-head and secure them.At the moment the plan is "scout with drones, see what pops up".If we can establish a beach-head or a secure and safe area, we can probably get a comms relay up.Actually, does this base have a Commsat or an Orbital command on it anywhere?
>>19587441Also, have ANON get an image of the High Templar that was depicted in the Auror scrying pool. Run it through the database and see if it matches any Protoss that are in the TG databases.
>>19587441>The Storm does not detect any reality distortions.Cool. So all we have to do is not fuck anything up and we're good.
>>19587488Some of them are, and as you deploy your Observer, it is able to detect about forty humanoids positively identified as Terrans within the building.>>19587489Other than a solitary Supply Depot, there is the Science Facility. The rest of the buildings are not the modular mobile military design.>>19587534It is easily identified as Tassadar.
>>19587441I suppose Starcraft's canon is pretty malleable.Zeratul, Raynor and Kerrigan are canon-required to survive. Probably Duran, Mengsk and Artanis as well.>>19587639Tassadar died? k. We might need to head on over to Aiur and see how that's going. What's our stealthiest warp-capable craft with enough sensors to view rough counts of Zerg, Terran and Protoss troops?
>>19587639Fly a Viper Droid in. It's more recognizable as human tech, as opposed to Protoss or Zerg.Depending on where they're from, they might not trust us, believing us to be infected.
>>19587639VP-98 has the friendliness protocols. Have it meet up with the Terrans.A Science Facility? It may be booby-trapped. Send our usual disposable drone squad in to get a better look. We may need to deploy a proper away team, but send in the disposable drones first. Is that it, just supply depots and a science facility? Is there no other stuff down there?
>>19587639>It is easily identified as Tassadar.Have a single Al'Kesh warp to the very edge of the Aiur system. We can get an idea of where in the Canon, and which Canon we're in, by examining the state of Aiur. The 40 Terrans in the facility are going to be a problem."Tosh, I thought you said that this facility was abandoned."We're not going to be able to take anything from here without a fight...MetaOP, have the RVF-25 scan the facility again. Is there a teleport interdiction field in place? If not, we could simply beam all of the Terrans into the Containment Bay and flood it with neurozine gas.
>>19587664>>19587688I vote against making any contact with the locals. We're here to rob them blind, not make friends with them. And we have teleporters, we can rob them and they'll only realize that all their stuff is disappearing.
>>19587708>>19587731Good point, but it might be useful to 'jack their minds of all their informations.
>>19587708Zerg Quest.Don't blame Tosh. In his version, it would have been empty.>>19587731Odds are, if we leave them, they're going to die very quickly. We can probably recruit them, even if they are civilians.
>>19587639>>19587545>>19587651Hmm. Tassadar in the Zerg Quest canon was engaged in a space battle where he was defeated, and never made a significant reappearance in combat afterwards. It might be that we're at the point in Starcraft where Tassadar is about to sacrifice himself to kill the Overmind on Aiur. >Terrans in the facilityIf those are remnants of the Confederacy, they're gonna be pretty damn suspicious of anything that comes by. Since Mengsk's Dominion has been in control for a while now, they may have been cut off from any significant resupply and turned to piracy or banditry.Alternatively, it could be Dominion forces attempting to salvage valuables. Or merely pirates/looters doing the same thing.
>>19587738>jacking information from locals>talking to people in a Black Ops top secret facility>not beaming them into containment, knocking them out, and using mind magic to rip their memories from their sleeping minds.
>>19587767I agree that this is a sensible plan.Anywho. Loot the humans, Loot the science facility, and loot whichever building has the visitor's center or information kiosk. If there isn't one, just go to whatever looks like it cost the most vespene gas.
>>19587758>never made a significant reappearance in combat afterwardsYour intel is stale.Tassadar is currently leading a rogue task force of Protoss trained to use the energies of the Dark Templar in order to kill the Zerg cerebrates. This could either be Tassadar's defeat at the claws of Cerebrate Anon, or when he's leading his ragtag force of rebels against ZergCorp.
>>19587639Oh, and while we're here, can our looters go steal this ship. We can study the drones for the offensive capabilities.http://stargate.wikia.com/wiki/TriaIt was abandoned in the middle of nowhere with a unusable hyperdrive. It should be an easy, and quick mission.
>>19587825Could be true. The Cerebrate never did expressly try to scan for Tassadar during the defense of Tarsonis/Nuke World/Dagobah. Although I thought we were attempting to enter the Zerg Quest canon (if possible) before the Battle of Aiur so that we could stick to the known Starcraft canon as much as possible. If this IS the Zerg Quest canon, then Corvus Kingston is in firm control (or is assuming control) of the Terran Confederacy, which never fell due to the Cerebrate's massive trolling of Mengsk. We must be careful here; if this facility is still in use, it could be the site of Psi-Disruptor technology or such.
>>19587708MetaOP, have the industrial replicators on the All Under Heaven produce 3 standard-canisters of Neurozine Gas.http://en.memory-alpha.org/wiki/NeurozineHave the YVH Droid Platoon armed with Phaser Rifles and set to stun. Also, have a the Portable Holo-Emitters and the 12 Mobile Emitters activated with Emergency Engineering Holograms in the Containment Bay to install phaser turrets. They will then switch to Emergency Security Holograms and be armed with phaser rifles, set to stun, and be stationed in the Containment Bay to stun any Terrans not affected by the gas. When we beam the Terrans up, try to see if any are Marines in power armor, and beam them out of the armor when they're beamed up.
>>19587913>http://stargate.wikia.com/wiki/TriaHave them take some of NOVA's x-commies, a bunch of drones [including at least 1 observer], an Al'kesh for teleport shenanigans, and enough engineers to get it stable for transit. That should be enough to capture the ship.
>>19587972What do you mean capture? It's floating out in the middle of nowhere with no crew abandoned. They just need to drag it in.
>>19587940Before we teleport anything, we might want to see if they have an interdiction field up or some other shenanigans. Do a test run with some small wildlife animal in transporting it to and from areas close to the facility.
>>19587983Is it really that simple? They just jump in, spool up the transit drives and jump out again?
>>19587993I already said to check for a teleport interdiction field in >>19587708>>19588017According to the article and episode synopsis, if they time it right, yes.The ship is never towed back to Atlantis or Stargate Command, it's never repaired, it's never used again, and it's never mentioned in the rest of the series.
>>19587708There is no teleport interdictor in place."It should be, mon! De Confederates abandoned it when de Dominion took ovah..." Tosh states. Are you sending someone to talk or are you just beaming them all up?
>>19588056I'll go with the Beamup option. If they want a rescue, they'll be thankful. If they don't want a rescue, they'll be mad at us anyway for jacking their stuff.Get them up, magically loot their knowledge from their minds.
>>19588056Vote to beam them up after the preparations in >>19587940 are completed, and beaming them into the Containment Bay and knocking them out with the Neurozine.
>>19588056Hmm. Confederates never abandoned it because it was never overthrown by Mengsk. Kingston is at the reins now, and probably putting all those top-secret facilities to good use. Probably gonna be a lotta ghosts there and automated defenses.Ask Tosh what this facility was known for. Like any specific types of research or technological handling. With that psionic bird-thingy being released, the personnel there may be rightly freaked out and on high alert. OP, were we able to get a rough idea on the number of Terrans in the facility?
rolled 76 = 76Your Al'Kesh begins to beam up the Terrans into the sealed chamber...
>>19588119We can always send Tosh in for negotiations/support with some backup. He's at least a semi-familiar being.
>>19588156Better not; they'll see a spectre and freak the fuck out.
>>19588175Not considering Spectres don't exist in Zerg Quest. Mensk made them after becoming emperor so this universe never had them.
>>19588119Of the forty Terrans, twenty are a mix of people in labcoats, ten are in worker's jumpsuits, nine are in CMC-400 combat armor, and the last one is in a Ghost Encounter Suit. Your Al'Keshes immediately begin to beam out the Terrans from their suits as the gas overwhelms the other humans one by one. As the last one gasps and heaves one last hacking cough before falling still, the Ghost manages to pull the pin on a grenade and jam it in place against the corner of one of the walls. However, it too, is beamed out safely. You now have a cargohold full of KO'd Confeds.
>>19588255Get the information from their Mental Minds. Those without combat training can be interrogated. Those with grunt training could also be interrogated with effort. The Ghost? Use the MIND MENTALS to obtain all the MENTAL THOUGHTS.Go Tosh, Aurors.
rolled 49 = 49>>19588290The Aurors attempt to peer into their thoughts...
>>19588308Might wanna doubleroll Tosh's Mind Mentality, if such a thing can be done.
>>19588255When we're done gently sifting through their brains, wake up the person who seems to be the commander and have Tosh do some negotiating. If this is Zerg Quest, we can probably get them to join us easy.We also may be able to derive how to make Ghosts, and can field Spectres and Ghosts.
>>19588255Commend the transporter chief and the crew of the Al'Kesh for quick reflexes and thinking.Have all of the Confederates placed in the Containment Bay of the Oncoming Storm, and bring the Task Force into orbit above the planet. Have the Mobile Emitters switch to Emergency Medical Holograms who will monitor the prisoners and keep them unconscious. Have the Portable Holo-Emitters with their Emergency Engineering Holograms continue upgrading the security of the Containment Bay with phaser turrets, wide-area phaser turrets, and anti-proton turrets.Have the Aurors begin using legilimency to sift through the memories of the workers, scientists, and marines. The Ghost will need special care. For him, have Tosh and the Psions sift through his memories, make sure that the Psions wear the Psi-Armor, and be prepared to hit psychic defenses in his mind. Tosh is to take the lead, since he knows what psionic defenses the Confederacy builds into its Ghosts.Once we have all of the security codes, have HK-50, a Droid Squad, and the YVH Platoon secure the facility using the security codes.
>>19588290Goddammit!You seriously sent them into a mind specifically designed to resist with explosive defenses, without taking the proper precautions? You stupid fuck!
>>19588332Also, have Vitun use Double Roll for Tosh and the Psions.
Be aware that we might have just set off a timer of sorts; with secret facilities such as these, there might be a signal of some sort that is sent at regular intervals. If we take too long, a reinforcement fleet may come in to investigate. Or even worse, the facility may have already requested some after seeing the psionic bird-thing unleashed.
>>19588255Normal means of getting people to spill info is to talk nicely to them. Possibly give them medicine to make them more co-operative.But that won't work on a ghost.I dunno what would work on a ghost. We could get a MRI scanner on their brain and ask them sensitive questions, expecting they'll deny anything. That'd tell us what regions of the brain their mental blockers are in.But once that's done, I have no idea how to proceed. You can't just rip the blockers out.
>>19588468and if I know future tech, disrupting those brain regions with magnetic waves will trigger a failsafe that destroys the ghost's memories, so the Bypass option is out.
>>19588308Your Aurors manage to determine that these are what remains of the staff of this facility, which was researching advanced stealth technology based on studies of a mysterious alien artifact. That artifact became the psionic energy creature when it touched the magic of the Aurors, and all the derivative technology the staff made stopped working when the artifact was transformed. The staff themselves were making use of the stealth technology to camouflage themselves. After logging attack after attack from various alien marauders, the facility stopped receiving communications from the Confederacy. The majority of the base's garrison eventually left to investigate and never came back. Who's left were attempting to make the base secure and self-sufficient.
>>19588468If you had done your homework, you would know that Tosh knows where the blockers and control chip are located and knows how to remove them.
>>19588540Woops.Well we have a plan for how to talk to the Ghost then.
>>19588525Can they tell why they quit working? Are the batteries just dead, or are they damaged beyond repair.
>>19588525Is the commander the Ghost, or is it someone else Meta? Because if it's someone else, it may be beneficial to wake him up and have Tosh discuss things..
>>19588525Is this information including the Ghost? Were we able to get the security codes to the facility?Have the task force warp into orbit around the planet above the facility. Get Tosh and Doc Lazarus to see if they can disable some of the hardwired defenses of the Ghost's mind. We need those security codes.Have Vitun provide a Double Roll to Tosh and Lazarus.
>>19588525Well, that's convenient.Did the Aurors manage to comb any memories of recent events and/or specific dates in their mind, such as how long ago they stopped receiving communications? Anything relating to Arcturus Mengsk and/or a Corvus Kingston?
>>19588572The people in labcoats will probably know a great deal about the security codes and perhaps the defenses, as will the marines. But still, it wouldn't hurt to check if any of them have had any psychic training to resist mind-reading.
>>19588551They have no idea, considering that it just happened a few minutes ago when you had your Aurors scry.>>19588572The Ghost had many, many defenses against psionic intrusions. Unfortunately, Auror magic is not psionic by any stretch of the imagination, and thus bypassed the vast majority of them. You have codes for the facility, though the Ghost is not the base's CO, but rather a sort of head security officer. The base CO was in a suit of CMC-300 Command Armor.>>19588598The last transmissions received were urgent messages to stay hidden, mentioning Confederate world after world falling to the protoss, zerg, mysterious robots, and others.
>>19588784KINGSTOOOOOONWait, wrong questAnyway, now that we have the base's codes, we can have Drones backed up by X-commies go through the base and loot all the things.Or are there automated defenses we can't bypass? For those, have the Al'kesh target them and beam them up.Then resume having Drones + Xcommies loot all the things. If we find a building with stuff we could use, e.g. computer bases, resoc tanks, manufacturing gear, science stuff, etc - beam that shit up.
>>19588784Can we have the RVF get some ECMs on the base personnel? Don't need any of them sending out commands to the base to turn on defenses, wipe drives or activate failsafes.
>>19588784>Confederate world after world falling to the protoss, zerg, mysterious robots, and others. This is Zerg Quest, then, and possibly during or after the Zerg-VoidGate Conflict.Anyway, have all security codes and base defense plans lifted from the Base CO's mind.Transmit the information to HK-50.HK-50, the YVH Platoon, and a squad of Drones are to go and security the facility and begin tagging equipment and structures for beam-up into the All Under Heaven's cargo bays. Have X-COM, SCP, and UNIT troopers on hand to decontaminate the structures as they arrive.Send the Looters off, to collect the Tria from the Stargate: Atlantis Canon. Have them arrive 5 minutes after the end of the episode when the Daedalus has left the Tria, and we can capture it in the Thief-class ship's transit envelope and tow it back to Sector HQ.
>>19588840And if they CAN'T capture it, just come right on back without it. Don't try something Superbrave and Superrisky.
rolled 73, 15, 42, 56, 84, 96 = 366It's after midnight! You know what that does to the random number generator's seed.
>>19588836That won't be a problem if we check their memories for safety measures like that, which we can do RIGHT NOW while they're unconscious and unable to activate any kind of remote base self-destruct.
>>19588822>>19588840Other than some various odd and ends, the only thing of note that you can loot is the Science Facility and its Covert Ops add on. And of course, the data stored in the base computers. It seems that most of the base's military supplies were taken by the expedition back to Confederate space. You also need to decide what to do with your captives.Stopping here for the night. Next thread tomorrow. I'll be on and off erratically to update this while it's up.
>>19588784Get the CO and unobtrusively get the codes from his mind. We may also want our resident diplomats/bullshitters to be ready to convert these personnel over to the gospel of the TG. >Confederacy falling to Robots/Protoss/Zerg/Others(?)I want to say that this puts us at post-razing of Shakuras in Zerg Quest. Protoss/Terran hostilities did not reach a high level until after that happened, at which point they went on a rampage throughout Terran space. Anon-Cerebrate then launched a massive attack on several planets, destroying the remnants of the Terran defense fleet. The Kel-Morian Combine took advantage of this weakness, and took over Tarsonis and forced Kingston to flee for his life.Given that the Confederacy has not made contact with this outpost, it's likely that they either couldn't or that Mah Sakai and the KMC-led Confederacy merely forgot about it. This puts us before the conflict with Dyles, and possibly sometime during the conflict with VoidGate.
>>19588917Oh....Dang.I guess this means we'll have to go check Lost Temple, Big Game Hunters or Twin Peaks.Find some guy who's gg'd out but has his base intact, loot it.
>>19588917I was thinking of waking the CO up and having Tosh approach him as an "Advanced Ghost", telling him we gased them to make sure none of them were infected. Have Vitun there for double rolls and some security to make sure he doesn't try anything.
>>19588917We can loot the Science Facility and the Covert Ops add-on. That should help out our science labs, and provide upgrades for the Delta Greens. We will need to find another place to salvage for the technology we want.
>>19588959Alright, so what story are we going to feed them?I'd rather go for the standard recruitment, 'see the Multiverse, fight the good fight, get paid' spiel.Scan their minds to make sure they're being honest about joining up. If they are, bring them in.If they're not, Obliviate them and drop them off on a Kel-Morian outpost.
>>19588917>>19588959We could also see if there are any schematics or blueprints for barracks/resoc tanks within the base. Perhaps one of the COs or scientists had the foresight to store plans for barracks/factories with the intent of expanding this base once it was self-sufficient.If not, then this is going to be tough. There's not going to be a whole lot of military facilities to loot without bumping into the Swarm, VoidGate, or a Protoss expeditionary force.
>>19589009This was possibly the worst time to enter this Canon. At least after the Zerg proved victorious over the Terrans of the Koprulu Sector, Anon decided to turn efforts towards rebuilding and entertaining itself with ZergTV specials and children's shows.Right now it's on a total war-footing, as is every single other faction in the Sector.
>>19589008Also remind them that the Confederacy has essentially abandoned them, and that staying here could result in:1.) Infestation by Zerg.2.) Death by Zerg.3.) Death by ROBOTS!4.) Death by angry Protoss.5.) Death by slowly running out of spare parts to maintain the facility, and having to eke out a meager subsistence farming culture.
MetaOP, can we, as the Command Crew, look through the sup/tg/ archives and read the archived Zerg Quest threads, much like we do with any other Canon?
>>19589343Then it should be safe to go over the archives with Tosh, to identify worlds that might be safe to loot from. The Confederacy is under attack from VoidGate and the Zerg; their worlds may be too dangerous to attempt to steal from. The Umojan Protectorate and the Kel-Morian Combine might be safer options, but Kerrigan's agents will need to be screened for.
>>19589079>>19589343MetaQuest: gettin' meta.
bumping for great justice!
MetaOP, we never got an answer to these questions:1. Can the C4I Replicators replicate the EBO Cortical Stacks?2. Can the replicators also replicate RED-2-Generic?
For those who do not know. One of the main differences between canon-Overmind and Anon-Cerebrate is that Anon likes Terran technology. So unless this changed later on expect Cyborg Zerg, Infested Terrains piloting captured tech and Zerg-Tv.
>>19592746In addition, MetaOP, are the Emergency Engineering Holograms working on increasing the security in the Containment Bay?Also, which do the Gurus and Mustadio think would be easier to make: Haste wristwatch or Boots of Speed? And which one would it be easier to apply time protections on (resistance or immunity to Slow, protection from hostile time shenanigans like what Tom did against us)? Also, most of us are agreed in sending te Looter Team to salvage the Tria. So let's send them on that mission; have them arrive a few minutes after the end of the episode and after the Daedalus has left so that the Tria is ripe for salvage.
>>19593105We like protoss tech too.
>>19593105Gausslisks, Zergleks, infested Ghosts, Zerg crewed Protoss Carriers and Terran Battlecruisers. And most troops equipped with cloaking devices and shields. And a computer the size of a planet.
>>19595717I'll help people out here with a Glossary.Zerglek - Zerg DalekGausslisk - Hyralisks with Gauss riflesInfested Ghosts - Humans cloned for high psionic capability. Used to create artificial ghostsDickling - Zergling with Dicks. Extinct after Bernie was destroyed.Rapeling - Half human, half Zergling. Extinct after Bernie was destroyedBernie - Eldritch being that is obsessed with dicks. Started as a Zergling.Kingston - Gigantic asshole. Started as human, turned himself into an artificial cerebrate. Raynor found and nuked him.Infestation Missile - ICBM loaded with Zerg spores. Used to infest large areas at one time.Toaster - Favorite Cerebrate. Is sitting on more nukes than the Fallout Universe ever had.Cyberbrate - Computer the size of a planet. Controls Lovemuffins, terminators, and ZergleksLovemuffin - Gigantic shiny drone-ship. Controlled via a series of Transmitter Arrays on Dagobah.
Gausslisks also have a sort of power-armor that is worn. They're essentially very beefy Zerg marines. Also of note are Mantalisks, which are fast flying creatures that slice things with psionically-charged blades. Non-combat units include: Thumblings and 100% spawned infested terrans, which are used to crew/pilot Terran/Protoss craft. Protoss Observers, which we know all about. Cloaked Overlords, which are overlords with cloaking devices.Dropbservers, which are Terran dropships that sacrifice the cargo bay in order to carry a cloaking device and an appropriate power supply for said device. The Anon-Cerebrate has also managed to infest several protoss. Though this did not yield any horrific hybrids, it did give all Zerg units an increase in baseline toughness and the ability to augment their natural weaponry with a psi-lash attack.
>>19596645Oh god. You just reminded me of all of the horrible hybrid creatures we made. Warbrate if I remember right is an Overlord fused into a Ultralisk. And depending on when we are, we want to stay the fuck away from UED space, because it's either 100% zerg, or 90% Dyles, and Dyles is worse than the Anon Swarm.
On a completely different note, names for our new ships. We can ignore some of the smaller ones, but we should probably name the Nyx supercarrier, maybe the Hiigaran Shipyard. Nyx:NocturneJudicatorTestamentJustice
Well how about this for a plan?1. Send droids to identify parts to salvage2. Beam up needed parts.3. Awake and interrogate captured personal, see of they can be persuaded to join. Perhaps mention "we are going to dismantle the base and there is nothing you can do about it. You should consider joining us, if you don't we can just drop you off after salvage operations are complete. I think you are going to have a much harder time trying to make the base self-sufficient after we taken half of it"4. I am not sure how big that psionic scream the bird let off but I think it safe to say that someone heard that and they are going to send a force to investigate. We should arrange our ships that the sensors cover as much as possible.5. If anything appears, abort salvage and get out of system
>>19598068>3. Awake and interrogate captured personal, see of they can be persuaded to join. Perhaps mention "we are going to dismantle the base and there is nothing you can do about it. You should consider joining us, if you don't we can just drop you off after salvage operations are complete. I think you are going to have a much harder time trying to make the base self-sufficient after we taken half of it"No, don't be hostile towards them. That's why we're having Tosh do the talking. If we have to, tell them that the Confederacy has pretty much been wiped out by the Zerg, we gassed them to make sure none were infected, and we're taking everything we can to a safe location. Honestly, it's up to you guys if you want to tell them about the Meta or not.
>>19598068That's the plan we had since last night, right after MetaOP ended the session.>>19598131I think that they should be told in no uncertain terms their current situation. They can either join up with us, or we wipe their memories and leave them on a Kel-Morian Combine outpost.Since we're going to be wiping their memories anyway, it doesn't matter if we tell them about the Meta.
Make sure that our casters all have one of the caster armors. Order of importanceAll heroesAbjurersWhite MagesOther
>>19598332Already equipped on Layla, Elaine, Vitun.Equipping Spellcaster Armor on:AgriasLavianAliciaShould we also equip it on Spike, Finalon, and Ryu?
>>19596390Ya missed highlinears or whatever there called, basically super speed transport, And I mean super speed.
>>19598310They'll be more likely to join if we approach them with connections to the confederacy. Also, if we recruit them why exactly are we mind-wiping them? Get off the mind-wipe fetish.
>>19597972>>19597972Nyx: Nocturne sounds good. Or some sort of name that signifies its presence as a tanky support ship that acts as a beehive for drones, like "Legion." Or "Amphigean Hierophant" if we want to go full thesaurus. Hiigaran Shipyard: Pioneer, Artisan, Artificier, You Must Construct Additional Pylons.
>>19598558Your reading comprehension is terrible.Memory-wiping is for if they refuse to join, and we need to remove memories of us and of our technology and abilities, especially the teleportation.Once they join, it'll become very apparent that we're not connected with the Confederacy, so keeping up that charade is not useful.
>>19598619>You Must Construct Additional PylonsSo, the Aldaris?
>>19598513If we're looking at Zerg Quest during the pre-Dyles conflict, then the Heighliners won't exist for a while. I'm estimating that we're at the point where Anon-Cerebrate is fighting off VoidGate... although this outpost's information could be very outdated. The KMC puppet government could have forgotten about this outpost in its haste to establish itself.
>>19598637Your reading comprehension is terrible. >They can either join up with us, or we wipe their memories and leave them on a Kel-Morian Combine outpost.>Since we're going to be wiping their memories anyway, it doesn't matter if we tell them about the Meta. That implies we'll be wiping their memories either way.
>>19598670No, it doesn't.Since we will be wiping their memories if they don't join up with the TG, then it doesn't matter if we tell them about the Meta, because those memories will be wiped if they refuse.
Ice to see you.
>>19598669If we are at the point in time where Zerg Quest is currently at, all that's left of humanity is Moria, if I remember right. These humans would be some of the only humans left that aren't aligned to the Zerg.If we are at the point of the Voidgate Scenario, Tarsonus, Moria, and Umoja are still in this portion of space. Most of the UED, however, is currently being infected by the Dyles entity.>>19598722Hi, MetaOp.No matter what happens, we MUST STAY OUT OF UED SPACE.
>>19598722MetaOP, there's some questions you need to answer.>>19592746>>19594385
>>19592746Yes, though it takes much longer than normal.>>19594385Tria mission accepted.Watch and Boots are about the same.Yes, they're trying to boost security, but there's little to improve on.
>>19598918>though it takes much longer than normal. How much longer are we talking about?Regular replication takes about 3 to 4 seconds; how long would replicating enough EBO Cortical Stacks and RED-2-Generic for our front-line combat troops take? If you don't want to do the calculations, just tell me how long it will take for each item. Also, can we replicate the Advanced Bio-Stabilizer Masks? Finally, let's get HK-50 and the droids down to the facility and get to tagging things for transport and uploading the base's databanks.
>>19599001Yes you can, but only after scanning, reverse engineering, and uploading the data on them to the replicator database. This task will take 2 days for your research team to complete.Where normal replication takes 4 seconds, replicating RED or the EBOCs takes a full minute per dose/stack.
>>19598740Actually, Tarsonis is still around, too. It's just under the thumb of the Morian government, which is a puppet government of the Swarm. There are surely lost bases like this out there, even ones that haven't had any kind of contact with the rest of the galaxy since all that collapse-of-human-government thing...Unless you get more information, this could be anytime.(Just thought I'd poke in)
Should get the security codes from the unconscious personnel via Auror mind-magic? Or should we wait for them to awaken and then convince them to join us and cede the codes?I'm leaning towards the first option since we're strapped for time in regards to this canon and the whole reality distortion heading towards HQ.In the meantime, we should prepare Tosh, Spike, and Vitun to diplomance their CO and the other officers first. It'll be considerably easier to get the grunts to agree if we can sway their superiors.
>>19599074>2 days to be able to replicate Advanced Bio-Stabilization MasksWe've got 12 squad's worth right now. I think we can hold off for just a bit longer. At least, until we finish S2 Organ research.I'll begin calculating how long we need the replicators for.
>>19599104It'll be fastest if we just use legilimency to get the codes and security plans from the CO's mind, then send them over to HK-50.That creature's psionic cry is likely to draw a lot of unwanted attention to this system. We need to move fast.
>>19599074Also, I replied to your email. Better late than never, right?...right?
>>19599102I thought most of Tarsonis was infested. Well, either way.And my comment about them being "some of the last humans" are in proportion to the amount there were BEFORE we infested the entire UED.
rolled 7 = 7>>19599172Quite right, old bean.>>19599001Your droids begin to salvage what can be salvaged as another begins to work with Mouse to download the Confederate database into your network.
>>19599197>7....What the Hell, /tg/ dice.
>>19599197Can we use a double roll for this?Fucking DICE!
>>19599231>>19599197Gotta declare double rolls beforehand.Unfortunately, Mouse triggers a few failsafe programs in his attempt to break the Confederate security. Programs immediately come alive, melting and fizzling down every single last byte of data... were it not for Mouse's quick thinking and prodigious talent. It's not much, but the hacker manages to save a file containing locations of worlds on the outer rim of the Confederacy earmarked for prospector investigation, as well as recent sensor readings from the long-range scanners. It seems they picked up Terran energy signatures passing through the system on their way to somewhere else. One of the scientists calculated a projected path, but before the base staff could decide whether to investigate, you showed up.
>>19599306Alright, alright. It's not a total loss.We can still get the Science Facility and the Covert Ops add-on.Have the Aurors use legilimency to go through the CO's mind to see if there are any fail-safes like the ones that got triggered, within the Science Facility or its add-on.If it's safe, have HK-50 tag them to be beamed up to the All Under Heaven.Once that's done, and there's nothing else useful to salvage, let's collect everything up and leave this system. We'll talk with the CO, recruit him and his people, and plan our next step, in the safety of deep interstellar space. And have Vitun use his Double Roll for the next roll.
>>19599306Those Terran energy signals could be anything from a KMC task force to a Dyles task force to a reinforcement fleet for the new Swarm. ANON, do we have a starmap of known Terran space in the Starcraft canon? Where is this planet located relative to the areas that the UED breached during the start of the Brood War?
rolled 54 = 54>>19599364Auror magic time! Show us your stuff, Fumbles!
>>19599306Can we compare the timestamps to the canon information on Zerg Quest so we know when in the canon we are at?
>>19599306Additionally, let's run a scan on the KO'd Confeds for any Zerg infestation or Psionic parasites. Dyles is bad news, and getting the Swarm alerted to our presence would be worse news. Also, infestation of our crew is something we do not want.
rolled 9 = 9Oh right, double roll.>>19599441If you show me what canon info you're going to reference, sure.>>19599425The signatures are numerous, but lack the power output a normal military fleet usually has, the reactor pattern of a Behemoth-Battlecruiser, for example. It might be a troopship fleet or the like, though it's strange for them to run without a BC or higher escort. If you cut the Koprulu sector into fourths, you are on the same half, but in a different quarter than the UED breach.
>>19599440>>19599487>>19599468Everyone here is clean of infestation.Your Auror team manages to pry failsafe information out from the CO's mind in time to shut them down, but just barely.
>>19599487Craaaaaaaap.Those are probably a flotilla of civilian ships, freighters, and salvaged patrol boats/small military craft. This sounds like a Dyles infestation fleet. From what I can tell of Dyles' MO, he preferred to use such a massive fleet of ships to crash-land parasitically-infected humans to the ground to spread some tadpoles around the general populace. Note that infected humans (and possibly Zerg, if any of them lived long enough) have superhuman strength/reflexes, and are capable of matching Zerg in melee combat. We might be near the area where Dyles is starting to make an incursion into the Korpulu Sector by infecting the UED bases that neighbor it.
Front-line Combat Troops (not including the crews of our ships) that are Cortical Stack Compatible:1479Total time to replication of all necessary EBO Cortical Stacks = 24 hours, 39 minutesFront-Line Troops and Heroes for RED-2-Generic doses:191Total Time to Replicate RED-2-Generic = 3 hours, 11 minutesUsing both industrial replicators at full capacity, we can produce all doses and implants needed in 13 hours, 55 minutes.
>>19599563(cont.)In other words, we gotta get outta here. Dyles will KNOW that there was a huge psionic scream here, and will undoubtedly send Infected to investigate. I suggest we pack up everything as quickly as we can, erase all traces of our presence here, then bug the fuck out.
>>19599573Damn, lets get started on those RED doses then the Cortical Stacks.
>>19599504Once the failsafes are down, beam up the Science Facility and the Covert Ops add-on.Is there anything else of interest that HK-50 and the droids have found? If not, beam up all personnel, and let's get out of here. Warp to interstellar space away first. We should be safe in the void between star systems, and we can plan our next move, as well as try to recruit these facility personnel.Check the CO and the marines for loyalty implants; no use trying to recruit them if they're still chipped. The Ghost definitely is, so we shouldn't even bother talking to them until they've been 'freed'.
>>19599586How should we erase all traces of our presence?Just leave a crater behind?I do agree with getting the hell out of here though.
>>19599563Can't we use the R-Types to snipe the shit out of the fleet?
>>19599651See if the facility has a reactor that we can set to self-destruct.That way it'll look like a black ops facility that was ordered to self-destruct.
>>19599676We -can-.But that's stupid and you're stupid.
