You decide to sit down and do some homework. You tear into your work, and it reminds you about the whole Roslyn thing. You frown. You're normally really good about this, but you attribute the day's activities to your forgetfulness. At the very least, you'll make an extra effort from now on to not forget that sort of thing.You get to English, and you really start studying. At the very least, you'd like to show some measure of improvement in this subject to Roslyn. A few hours pass, and you find yourself asleep on your desk.You look around and see nothing but pure and utter darkness. Your body feels weightless, and it's as if you're floating. You look around again, and this time you start to see what looks to be a never ending road. On the road, you see a familiar looking car, one you remember seeing in a dream. "What...?" That's when you see another car, or maybe truck? You aren't entirely sure, but it's six-wheeled and moving down the road at a decent pace. The road splits, and the cars turn towards you. You look down and see the road pass underneath you, and both vehicles pass underneath you, the roar of the engines almost deafening. You hear a door slam, and then everything goes black.Beeeep. You push the thought out of your mind and finish washing up, then you climb out and dry off before heading back into your room. Your back still seems a bit stiff, so you do some stretches and then some crunches before getting dressed. You're feeling physically better somewhat, but your sour mood hasn't changed.You head downstairs and make some toast and pour yourself a drink. You sip on the juice and then, when the toast pops up, you butter it and eat it. You get comfortable in a chair when the door opens and Chiyo walks in. "Oh! Anon-kun? You're awake already?" You nod. Her pencil, however, is blazing a trail through her work.You start to say something, but stop. You think it might be better to talk to her up close. You get up and walk over to her. "Roslyn-chan?" you say diminutively.She looks up and sees you standing there. "Eh?" she asks offhandedly as she turns back to her work. "What is it?""Er, listen. I realize that I'm the cause for you having to work on your homework now, and I'm sorry. A lot of stuff happened yesterday and I completely forgot about taking it all to Tadashi-senpai."You see her pencil slowly come to a standstill as you explain it to her, and she looks up. "You... Are the reason why I had to come here this early?" she says slowly. "The reason why I had to come in when the teachers came in so I could ask for the homework they assigned yesterday?" Her voice is slowly rising. "Tadashi told me that he forgot to ask someone from the class, but he actually did, and instead of letting me believe it was no fault of his, he took the blame for you?" She stands up abruptly.
"I said a lot of mean things to Tadashi last night when he came home from school," she says to you quietly. "I wasn't in my normal state of mind, but he didn't even flinch at what I said to him. He stood there and took it." She looks up to you and meets your gaze. "It's because... of you.. that I said all of that?" She walks up to you and slaps you. "You have no idea how terrible I felt this morning after realizing what I said to him. Tadashi, even if he is my adopted brother, has been there for me since he's been a part of my family. You tell yourself to just wait, though, because things will fall into place.Roslyn turns to you and the others before you all head out.
