WE ARE BUTLER, 100% PURE DAPPER AND SWAG.
From days of long ago, from uncharted regions of the multiverse, comes a legend.
The legend of Swagtron:
Seducer of the Multiverse!
A mighty butler, loved by girls, feared by evil.

You run after Yuki.
She's lost herself again, here in this place that she might possibly consider her first home.
Among the aisles of books and tomes, the quiet shy girl has put up walls and barriers to protect herself.

You turn another corner, calling out her name.
What greeted you wasn't her, but something a bit more unexpected.

There, standing at the other end of that dimly lit, book entombed hall was a figure wearing a butler's uniform.
With a silver sword in-hand, and blue hair swaying with each step, this person approaches you a determined look in their eyes.

You know, if people are really that worried about injuring people during a training exercise, we could contact Dr. McNinja down in the infirmary, and ask him to get ready to receive fatal injuries.
If he acts surprised, then we'll know something's up.
If not, then apparently live-fire exercises are commonplace here at the Bureau.

And there you were, being held at sword-point by a copy of yourself.
You have an idea how Yuki did this, a diary.
She keeps a diary and used that to summon a copy of you.
Hopefully, he's not as perfect a copy as you fear he is.
The two of you stay there frozen, saying not a word.
"So... I take it you won't let me go after her?" you ask your copy.
In response, he shakes his head and pokes you in the chest with his sword.

You reach into your jacket and pull out your coach gun.
You've been sneaking in some practice time with it, and now feel confident enough to use it not only as a ranged weapon but as a blunt instrument as well.
Its loaded with a pair of deer slugs, ones that have enough stopping power to make even Mike hurt.

You use the body of the gun to bat away the sword that was poking your chest, and use it to defend yourself when your doppelganger attacks.

Being a copy of you, this guy has no new moves you've not seen before.
Infact, you could go as far and say that he's predictable.

As you parried and dodged the sword, you get Kraus to get you in touch with the infirmary.
'Sir, sorry to disturb you," dodge "But I was wondering if you were equipped to deal with near fatal, or possibly even fatal injuries?"
"This is Ayasaki right? Don't worry. I'm watching the exercise right now. My staff and I are fully prepared to heal and fix you up. But still, I'm sure shit will hurt, so maybe try not to vaporize anyone."
'of course sir. Thank you.'

"I guess that's that." you say as you parry the sword with the short barrel on your gun and aim it right in your copy's chest.
*BANG*
You unload both barrels into him.
He's flung into a nearby shelf and vanishes.

Oh we gon' get it!

Except this would have involved basically straight up killing them for real, and we've already seen how imperfect magical restoratives can be.
>>
>>19629684
See but that's the point. Hayate can't hurt his friends because he has a full blown mental condition related to losing them

So while we can fight them in training where it is a video game fighting them where the pain is real is a bit beyond him

>go to twilight canon

i'm entirely alright with this set of circumstances.
>>
>>19629684
Their whole team was running away from ours. This wasn't a training excercise, it was fucking hide and seek. There's no point to it if the participants can't get into it.
>>
>>19629713
As long as we can burn the entire meta to the ground for harboring a dangerous amount of SUE's I see no problem with this
>>
>>19629684
You're ignoring one crucial factor: we're Yuki's guardian. We have no idea how much pain we'd likely cause by "eliminating" her outside of an exercise.

Under our standing orders, we can't do it. And if they ordered us to do the same to a "family member", we'd probably decline as well, but in this case it really is a conflict of orders.

The Director stands up from her seat, her face still unreadable as ever.
"Exercise ends. All parties involved will be deducted a week's worth of pay. The leaders," She looks at you and Yuki "will be kept in the brig for 24 hours beginning now."
She walks out of the gym without another word.

Security personnel come out of the wings and approach you and Yuki, the girl seems scared but you give her a reassuring smile as you let them take you away.

The Moonlight that Ryuu showed us actually worked pretty damn well, considering we really were dying at the time.

>>19629741
And that really needs to stop. That means that we really are useless for training and exercises outside of the sims, with all of the safety gloves on.

That means that we lost the chance to get Susan through to this side. She's going to be stuck in an empty Bureau, all alone and no chance of escape.

"Well that sucks." Erica comments as she walks out of the gym with the others. "now he gets a night's free pass."
"Sister, shouldn't you be a bit more concerned about him?"
"He'll be fine. It's not like they're gonna torture him or something.... Right?"
"I hope not." Hina answers her with a look in her eyes.
Jack wordlessly follows the other girls home.
"Well now we have a whole to prepare for his arrival" Erica grins as she makes some smacking motions.
-------------------------------------------------------------

The Director walks back into her office.
Kyon, who had been keeping an eye on the place while she was away welcomes her back.
She's as expressionless as ever, a blank slate that no one could read.
No one, except for that man of course.
"Well, you look happy." he comments
"You saw?"
"I was watching the whole thing." he gives her a hug from behind.
"Full independence is almost achieved. Soon that child will be ready."
"Ready for what?" He asks
"Ready to take my place."

-----------------------------------------------------
The group of guards lead you and Yuki to a large, armored side door in the administrations building.
Mike has been tailing your procession since you left the gym, but has not said anything yet.

There, they confiscate you badge, your bag and anything else you had on you, leaving you only with the clothes on your back.
They also took Shamisen from Yuki, as well as the books she had with her, but hand her back a small leather-bound notebook that you assume was her diary.

Still not saying anything, you are led deeper into the complex to a row of waiting cells.

Maybe. Is Yuki's independence from Nagato the fact that she rebelled?
Or just that she felt a surge of emotions and that's what's making her independent from Nagato?

Given what Nagato has been saying, and making Yuki experience more emotions, I think it's the latter.

Looks like Yuki's being groomed to replace Nagato.
Seems like her wanting to disobey the Director was a sign of her being unshackled from her "mother"

It's reasonable, she wants Yuki to replace her, and be more connected to the people of the Bureau.
it's also the reason she has Yuki go through training instead of just spawning a perfect copy of herself.

The two of you are locked into a cell at the far end of the row, the massive door blocking it only having a small slot to slide food through.
It all looks very secure with the thick walls and the armored door, but you're sure it's got even more majaikal means to keep you in if they really wanted to.
Inside, was a pair of small cots, an open sink/lavatory and nothing else.

"Wait," You ask the guard as he slides the door shut, "We have to share a cell?"

>head to Director

Abandoning the medical wing, you set your eyes on the Administrative building.
There, in that empty office that over-looked the Bureau, was the one person that could be powerful enough to help you fix this.

You ride the elevator up, see and ignore the empty desk that was Kyon's and push the door open.

**ROLLEM**

How did we ignore the easy route?
Was it by not shooting Yuki?

The office was as empty as ever.
There were no decorations on the walls, nothing on the large desk that she used.
And without the Director herself there, it was more empty than usual.

"FUCK." you say as you kick over one of the two chairs by the desk.
"FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK."
The swears echo through the room, the words sounding weird from your feminine mouth.

There's a noise behind you, and the door opens again on it's own.

Fuck you. Fuck All of you.

I've been telling you for MONTHS that there's a time when you have to stop rolling. Just quit while you're ahead. But you can't do that, can you /tg/? Because the more of you get together in one place, the lower your collective IQ gets.
>>
>>19632231
>23

Oh. Well. Guess I can't, either.
>>
>>19632240
The IQ of a group of people on tg is the average divided the number of people in said group
We are approaching rock levels of stupidity
>>
>>19632240
I note that LG still took the 96.
>>
>>19632278
Because he was already writing up the post no doubt
>>
>>19632278
It could be that he didn't refresh when it happened. He's taken nat1's over other rolls before.
>>
>>19632225
Pay attention we may very well find ourself.
>>
>>19632278
That's both missing the point and explainable.

He rolled a 17 not two full minutes before the nat 1, so he had probably started writing by the time it came up. Three minutes later, he posted. Had he been slower about it and checked before posting, we would've gotten the 1.

Which brings me back to my original point. WE HAD THE 96. There was no reason to keep rolling.
>>
>>19632327
Yes, there was.

The 97.

"Nagato, Open that door. I'm headed down there."
"No." She tells him.
"But you put them in a cell together! And you know what he can do. What if... She... He..."
"No." she tells him again.
"Okay.. Okay... But if he touches her, If he does anything to her, I'm bouncing his hass abck to his home dimension faster than he can say "Santa-Claus"."
At that exact moment, the door that was gone materializes itself and opens on it's own and closes again.
"..."
"..." the two occupants of the room observe this.
"......"
"No, Kyon."
"........."
"No."
"..........."
"Don't do it."
"..............!"
Kyon jumps out of his seat as it falls over, races to the door and runs out of the room.
"IMMA KILL YOU AYASAKI!~" he screams as the Director, acting surprisingly like a girl of her age, runs after him.
>>
>>19632340
Fuck the 97, we got one earlier
>>
>>19632327
The point was that we know that at some point(s), there will be special bonuses if we can hit a 97+.

It's kinda cruel of LG to wave that flowchart like that, now that I think about it. It practically begs for us to accidentally hit a 1.

On the other hand, there's a 4x greater chance of hitting the lucky zone (97, 98, 99, 100) than getting a Critical Failure (1).
>>
>>19632386
Actually, have you taken a look at the numbers that get rolled? The pseudo-RNG that is the /tg/ diceroller tends to get more nat1's than anything in the 97-100 range.

Foot steps, you heard footsteps going out of the room.
In the hall beyond it, you hear a faint, but distinct
".... AYASAKI!"

You follow those footsteps and that voice out the hall and into the elevator.

-----------------------------------
In the box, you hear some shuffling noises, but there's no one in there with you.
The door opens and the shuffling heads outside.

You continue following this disembodied noise.

I'm gonna put the blame on haruhi for this one. Since she can bend the universe around her to her whims and she likes kyon, it would make sense. If we take what was said in infinicon and the future vision this might be the starting point of something big.
>>
>>19632455
Wait, are people only just now realizing that the Haruhi reference from Infinicon might be extremely significant?
>>
>>19632468
When the word Haruhi was uttered my mind began to race.
It's not coincidental that she pops up when we have 2/5 of the SOS Brigade running the Bureau.

>>19632468
We have lost some old people and gained some since infinicon

In the brig, after you and Yuki have finished eating, the comfortable silence again settles around you.
Yuki, a girl too shy to initialize conversation, sits there writing in her diary.

You yourself have taken off your jacket and is now doing your nightly exercises
[ones that you do whenever you can find the time.]
"155, 156, 157, 158, 159, 160..."
You count off the one-handed, one-fingered push-ups.

A chill comes over you, something is not right.
"I feel a disturbance in the force." you mutter as you momentarily stop your push-ups.
"What?" Yuki asks quizzically
>>
>>19632468
For new people, maybe.

I've been expecting that if we go down to the deepest depths of the Bureau, that we'll find Terminal Dogma, and in the place of Lilith will be Haruhi, pierced through by an Ebon Lance of Longinus as Juice pours down from her wounds and pools in a lake.
>>
>>19632517
So does that mean the Bureau has cyborg mechas based off of Haruhi's genetic code?

No I knew the haruhi thing was important. The thing is that this event gives a possible starting point for the future events and also infinicon which im guessing was a sim of a past mission, or something like endersgame. We think it's just a sim but it is really a mission.

oh god. as im typing this this is the banner for 4chan
>>
>>19632517
I actually think it would be a lance made of pure reality emitting metal in the vein of a tg reality emitter.

That or reality emitting full containment gear would be the only things capable of stopping haruhi's powers
>>
>>19632517
>we find Terminal Dogma
>Haruhi is pierced through by an Ebon Lance of Longinus
>Juice pours down from her wounds and pools in a lake.
Nope. Nope. Nope. Nope. We leave her there. It's the safest solution, bitches be crazy.
>>
>>19632550
I see it as a replay of a mission that was a major turning point in the bureau because they realized what they had to do
>>
>>19632538
>Devices
Yep.
>>
>>19632580
...You just blew my mind there, bro.
>>
>>19632517
I find it infinitely more plausible that she is kept sedated with pure anti sue juice and locked in a loop of the Haruhi canon's events.
This is in order to keep her from rampaging off and remaking the meta but also to keep the opposing sides from her canon in check
It is the only way to keep her
>>
>>19632595
Supporting that. The Infinicon mission was when they realized they needed to keep her sedated after she disappeared and the agents tracking her down in that sector stumbled across her and got dragged into her powers
>>
>>19632589
How do you think I feel? We're giving him ideas, this game we are playing is wrought by danger
