Continuing a previous fate/stay setting/roleplay thread some anon came up with the idea of using "Baron Samedi, 'The Shadowman'" as his caster servant, with the master being an out-of-town new orleans tall dark and voodoo southern gentleman involved in the grail war.

After a bit of clamor someone came up with some stats for him which are as follows.

>BARON SAMEDI
>Strength: E
>Endurance: E
>Agility: E
>Mana: A
>Phantasm: B
>Luck: B
>Noble Phantasm: Friends on the Other Side
>The Baron can summon powerful voodoo spirits to fight at his side- but they'll want some sort of compensation.

Overall that's pretty damn good in addition to what normal casters get (like workshops, magic resistance and cheaper casting), but I think there are a few other things that could work quite well as secondary / tertiary noble phantasms. Namely his particular magical style which allows him to prevent or cause early deaths and lift or inflict deadly curses.

I've seen some depictions of him that state while normally he's a somewhat ambiguous force when he really wants something he could go so far as rape. Play him as neutral and very capricious, if he likes you he may prevent your death, if he doesn't like you he could bury you alive.

Lets keep a 300+ post fate/stay thread going. I believe the 'ideal' system discussed for running it was a somewhat refluffed world of darkness.

>voodoo spirits
Other Loa or just ghedes/shadow men? Do they have to ride a Horse like Loa normally do, or are they somehow manifest physically regardless of the normal mythology?
>>
>>19654427
Other good systems:
Legend of Wulin
Dresden Files RPG
GURPS.

And yeah, the Baron as a Caster would be a fun character.
>>
>>19654494
Well the idea was that similar to attempting to summon angra mainyu or satan or the like, you don't get the real thing, you get a somewhat toned down version of him.

So while the 'true' baron samedi would be able to utterly prevent a persons death or absolutely induce it, this one can't quite go to that length, he can make it much, much harder for someone to die or curses wither and weaken someone to almost the point of death (bar some servant shenanigans).

The Spirits that he'd get access to are the 'dark' spirits of voodoo, either Samedi's direct servants (which look and dress like him, and are basically lesser avatars of him), or the spirits of murderers or the like.

His motivations for competing in the grail war could be to gain access to the souls of the orthodox he'd normally not have access to... Or Samedi being the womanizer he is, he's in it for the bitches.
>>
>>19654494
I'd assume normally. And they'll help you out, for a price. Some maybe would want something simple, like a bottle of rum. Others might want something insanely difficult, such as the breath of a dead man. You never know what you'll get. But after all, what did you expect, dealing with the Baron's friends on the other side...
>>
>>19654556
So he would summon ghedes (somewhere between a ghost and a shade). Would they be required to take a Horse (possess someone willingly/unwillingly) in order to interact physically with the world? Or would they be given a physical body?
>>
I believe there's a Baron Samedi in the the Freedom City setting, the official setting of Mutants and Masterminds. Take a look on google if you're interested.
>>
>>19654494
Other shadowmen primarily, great for spying / information gathering.
>>
>>19654427
www.youtube.com/watch?v=yZAY-78zhmw
>>
>>19654571
Ideally, have all options available - Incorporeal undead, 'possessors' (man that would be a *great* way to fuck with other masters if they had a lot of worldly attachments) or able to have a body manifested for them.
>>
>>19654594
Yes, we're aware of that song which is why the noble phantasm was named after it.
>>
>>19654427
One thing that Voodoo is especially good at is sympathetic magic.

Maybe give him a Noble Phantasm that if he gets an item with a serious spiritual connection to the target or a lock of their hair or something like that any Curses or Magic that Baron Samedi uses on the target become much more dangerous and potent.
>>
>>19654605
Okay. So it would only be loosely related to actual voodoo. Normally spirits (that includes Loa i.e. Deities like the Baron) don't have a physical form. That's why they borrow your body when you call them up and operate through you. They do the thing you wanted and, in exchange, they take their payment (usually rum, sex, and tobacco) via your own borrowed senses.

These, though, would have a physical manifestation option, instead of having to ride around in Horses (hosts) it seems.
>>
>>19654571
Likely just, shadows and shit. Maybe they'll possess bodies, maybe not. You can't tell, with his friends on the other side.
>>
>>19654647
I was focusing less on having the baron summon other loa, and more 'spirits' in general which have incorporeal forms but can interact with the world (albeit with some difficulty, unless they possess something).

I'd say that asking another loa for a favor through Samedi could be worth a command-spell on the most powerful end of the spectrum, weaker stuff might just have them possess the master for a little bit.
>>
>>19654645
Yeah.
Noble Phantasm: I Know You
>>
>>19654427
Isn't Baron Samedi a God?
>>
>>19654711
Vodoun Loa are a step below Greek gods on the overall power scale. They're about on the same power tier as Norse gods.
>>
>>19654711
You could get Jesus as Caster. Being considered a diety by some isn't the same as actually being one.
>>
>>19654723
Well you don't see Norses and Greek gods as servants.

Also when did we created a god tierlist?

>>19654731

But he isn't Jesus Level
He is Hades level
>>
>>19654645
Friends on the other side is ideally the main phantasm, but I am a very big supporter of multiple noble phantasms for someone like the Baron Samedi.

Ideally in order to powerfully affix any of his curses or boons, he needs to get a thing of theirs. This also trumps up the "DONT LET THEM FIGURE OUT WHO THE FUCK YOU REALLY ARE IN THE GRAIL WAR, THESE GUYS ARE VERY, VERY BAD NEWS".
>>
Samedi isn't human, I thought. If he's a spirit/deity he cannot be a servant.
>>
>>19654711
They aren't gods. They're very powerful spirits who act as intermediaries between this world and the Creator, Bondye.

Also we won't be summoning the real Baron Samedi, it'd be a bit too absurd, we'd be getting a toned down fake copy of him. Still dangerous as all hell of course.
>>
Oh, also, I can't imagine spirits being terribly effective against Servants unless they can be summoned infinitely ala Zero Caster, because the Servants themselves are really badass spirits
>>
>>19654711
He's more the Boss of the Ghedes than a true deity. Loa aren't exactly gods.
>>
>>19654745
Averted by not actually getting the spirit that is samedi, similar to summoning angra mainyu, you get someone who represented him, but with their powers toned down a whole bunch. So instead of "Lol my master cant die" and "Your masters are all dead" you get "My master is gunna be really hard to kill" and "If I get something of yours, you're not going to have a very fun time at all".
>>
>>19654767
Spirits are their own thing in the Nasuverse. If he's a spirit, he can't be human, which means he can't be a servant.

However, you could perhaps have him be a non-heroic spirit who managed to inject himself into the Grail War for whatever reason. That might be interesting.
>>
>>19654745
What we're summoning, is the closest HUMAN soul to him. Some voodoo priest most likely, with most, if not all the talents he has.
>>19654744
Agreed.
So, lesse:
Friends on the Other Side
Something to do with curses (Tentatively titled I know you.)
>>
>>19654790
Angra Mainyu is a really shit Angra Mainyu
>>
>>19654803
Once he got in the Grail though...
He lives up to the name. Or he would, if he was ever allowed to be born.
>>
>>19654802
>What we're summoning, is the closest HUMAN soul to him. Some voodoo priest most likely, with most, if not all the talents he has.
Hah. A human soul, bound as a servant, serving as the Horse to the Baron.
>>
Well i don't think Samedi should be summoned as a heroic spirit.

I'm ALL for a Avatar vs Avatar grail war
>>
>>19654818
That's because the grail granted his 'wish'.
>>
>>19654779
Depends on the spirits and what they're used for, Direct combat isn't a casters strength. Abducting another masters relative and putting a murderer spirit in them and then sending them at the other master is much more effective.

It'd *probably* be possible for Baron Samedi to come up with a spirit of servant strength or two, or to just throw so much dark magic at you its not funny. Where Samedi would get the scariest is probably in an alliance with another master + servant combo.
>>
>>19654831
Well, he tainted the Grail. Just by returning to it.
>>19654822
In which case... this Grail War just got really deadly.
>>
>>19654822
>Hah. A human soul, bound as a servant, serving as the Horse to the Baron.
But if the soul was dead, and was in life a Hodoun, that means he was a Ghede bound as a servant, letting the Baron act through him. At reduced capacity of course.
>>
>>19654822
That... actually works incredibly well, and definately fits caster-level shenanigans, especially when the master is another black skinned new orleans tall dark and voodoo southern gentleman.

I'd like to see *one* potential noble phantasm used as a last resort to all his other shenanigans.
>>
>>19654864
What about the Baron jumping from the Servant into the Master, leaving the Baron in a living host with a super-strong Ghede as the Servant?
>>
>>19654874
That is shenanigans worthy of a Grail War right there. I'm considering that as a possible phantasm.
>>
>>19654896
It would have to be an absolute last-resort, though. The sort of thing that gets done only when the Master is in a bad situation too far away from the Servant. Then suddenly the Master is the Baron and shit gets real.
>>
So...
What would be Baron wish?
>>
>>19654921
Something to do with partying.
>>
>>19654921
All the bitches, all the rum, all the tobacco.
>>
>>19654874
>>19654896
Phantasm: I am you
>>
>>19654914
Yeah. Likely it wouldn't be reversable. It's a last ditch, "Win the War, or die trying" phantasm, much like say, El Cid's army summoning one in HGW Seattle, or the Oliphant of Roland would likely be.
>>
>>19654874
I hope when this happens Baron just shrugs the other people attack and goes on to make the biggest conga line in the world
>>
>>19654929
>>19654930
>partymind
>>
>>19654921
Either for the soul of the hero he chooses to go to the shadowlands, or samedi is in it for the bitches.

>>19654874
I was thinking more of a weapon... but the ability to have the baron possess you as a defensive tactic is fucking brilliant, kudo's to you anon.
>>
>>19654937
>Likely it wouldn't be reversable
Unless, of course, the Master dies. Then the Baron has a new head Ghede to bind to a new Master as a Servant...
>ouroborus
>>
>>19654921
Bitches and booze.
Holy shit. He's Bob the Skull.
>>
I'm trying to imagine the summoning ritual for him.

You don't need some artifact that he had in life, all you need is a box of cigars and a few bottles of rum and you ought to get him.
>>
>>19654961
...the Master is always the new Servant, the Horse to Baron Samedi. Jesus fucking christ.
>>
>>19654929
>>19654930
He wishes Cuba was back to how it was under Batista, obviously. So New Orleans could get good rum and cigars for her rice and chicken again.
>>

"After a rough night of alcohol and high quality cigars in japan, I woke up to found out I had severely fucked up my voodoo hangover cure, and was now participating in a potentially lethal war for the holy grail... Fuck." - Chronicals of the 6th Grail War, an Excerpt from the Master of Caster.
>>
>>19654961
Good god. The amount of dickery that could be pulled off with this guy as Caster is inconceivable.
>>19654968
Likely you'd have to be a practitioner of voodoo though.
>>
>>19654989
That's likely how it would happen.
>>
>>19654968
Sure, Loa are easy. Any of them could be summoned with the right veve. Most of the dead could be summoned with a black chicken or rum in the right place.
>>
>>19654990
>amount of dickery
That's accurate. He doesn't have much in the way of raw power. But fighting him is like trying to punch smoke. You're just going to embarrass yourself.
>>
>>19655015
Likely? That's *exactly* how it would happen.
>>
>>19654989
On the bright side Caster is a pretty cool guy. When I woke up he had smoked half of my cigars, drunk all my alcohol and was in the kitchen making gumbo. He asked if I wanted to go out on the town and pick up women.

It was the best gumbo I'd ever tasted.
>>
>implying Samedi would even fight the Grail War
He would just have a party all day long, then dig a grave for each master.
>>
>>19655026
Doesn't have much in the way of raw power unless he gets his hands on something of yours.

Friends on the other side is great for intelligence gathering and 'shenanigans'.

I know you is his primary method of attack when he's not turning everything you care about against you.

I am you is his "You don't kill death" trump card.
>>
>>19655045
>It was the best gumbo I'd ever tasted.
The Baron is the truest bro you'll ever have as long as you're willing to party binge 24/7. If you can keep up, even barely, he'll always have your back.
>>
>>19655050
Pretty much. However, if he gets his hands on anything that could power him up... hoo boy. It's not going to go well for the other Masters.

>>
>>19655050
I think that there should be a scale of how fucked you are based on how much the Baron knows or has on you.

If he knows nothing aside from your class it's pretty weak, he can still screw with Masters to a degree but is unlikely to do much unless they are the worst Magus around.

If he gets more information on you, your name, where you live and so on then the effects are ramped up, he can inconvenience you, start pulling shit off.

If he gets an item of serious significance to you, a piece of a noble phantasm or something like hair or blood, than he can go to town on you and seriously fuck your shit up. If you don't have good Magic Resist he might be able to kill you at that point if he throws enough Voodoo at it.

Obviously this is just for the sympathetic magic portion, he can still pull off many tricks not reliant on this, he isn't the best in straight up combat but he could probably pull some fun tricks with shadows and direct attacks.
>>
>>19654937
>>19654961
>>19655026
The key thing is that the baron can, and likely will pull "I am you" whenever the 'servant' would get destroyed so he can continue the grail war, none the wiser.

Because it was actually the 'master' who was destroyed, (and ideally the master and samedi look identical) and Samedi now resides in the masters body with command spells (preferably placed in an easily hidden location, via a gentlemans gloves or somesuch) other masters will likely think they killed the 'servant', at which point they probably walk away from you as the master didn't want to be part of this war anyways he just royally fucked up his hangover cure like several consecutive nat 1's to the point where the dm goes 'your hangover cure fails, and you're now caught in a war between you and six other powerful magi'.

After they walk away the 'master' walks over to the remains of 'caster' and picks up the voodoo skull mask and slides it over his face, with it being a *perfect* fit.

Fluffypost done. Crunchypost to come
>>
Friends on the other side - allows samedi to summon dark spirits / other loa to aid him in combat or gather information, these spirits or loa can be used to forcibly possess people. Not entirely sure how to stat this.

I know you - greatly strengthens any sympathetic magic samedi performs, if he has a thing of yours or your servants (it must be a personal object, a lock of hair or a fragment of armor would count, where a coin would not) his magic is treated as a C++ rank antipersonnel noble phantasm against that specific target. If he gains possession of one of your noble phantasms or magical circuit powered weapons / tools this is upgraded to an A++ rank antipersonnel noble phantasm, should samedi kill you while in possession of one of these items he gains the ability to use it as you would for the rest of the duration of the grail war.

I am you - Your servant is really just the true spirit of Baron Samedi acting through the spirit of the human most like him upon summoning, the spirit is not Samedi, but Samedi acts through it... Should the spirit be on the verge of destruction, the spirit of the true Samedi may jump to the master and act through him (completely overriding the masters free will). This technique can be used in situations where the servant does not risk destruction (such as in cases of extreme need by the master) but for its duration it leaves the spirit that samedi normally 'rides' essentially a lifeless defenseless husk. The Master retains all access to noble phantasms that samedi has gained, and full use of all of his powers for as long as Samedi is "riding" him.

Essentially frees up the need to use command spells defensively, and may allow you to use a command spell to barter with another powerful loa for a spirit of almost servant like strength.
>>
>>19655190
For "I know you", you might be able to pull it off with part of the Noble Phantasm, but it has to be something very much magically attuned to the target.

I could see this being utterly hilarious against Gilgamesh if he went up against him. He does weapon spam, you acquire one of them, boom dead. We also might want to allow the summoning catalyst for the Servant, if they used one, to get up to A++.
>>
>>19655202
Sliding scale of power, the closer and more personal of an object it is the more powerful the sympathetic reaction it causes. So while having something they touched once isn't worthwhile at all, a locket of their hair or a fragment of their armor is capable of doing some stuff, a bit more potent if you know who the spirit is... where if you managed to get ahold of one of their weapons or some incredibly personal object (like tohsaka rins amulet that saved EMIYA's life) you'd essentially have them in the palm of your hands.
>>
>>19655233
I would probably put blood in there, a step above hair but below a NP or similarly personal or magically attuned object.

Though for most Masters blood would be enough to screw them over.
>>
>>19655258
NP "I Know You" is fairly well developed at this point and straightforward in terms of mechanics, as is NP "I Am You". Friends on the other side is relatively untouched.

Last post before I head off to bed, lets hope thread stays alive till I wake up.

Anyone else have awesome idea's for badass servants but unsure how to mechanically represent them? Lets get that shit hammered out, Baron Samedi was unbelieveably successful.
>>
>>19655282
Ok, free summoning or almost free summoning of minor shadow spirits who are best used for infiltration and shadow gathering.

For some more powerful ones you'd probably have to offer gifts to the spirits, things like rum, cigars, chickens and other food, blood, that sort of thing. You'd get something competent, could take on a decent Magus or Executor in a fight but unless there's a lot of them in a straight fight they'd get stomped by any Servant, except Assassin as Assassin sucks in a straight fight.

For the really big ones you'd need to make a good sized offering, you might owe them a favor, and you'd have to provide a person for them to "ride", which could be the Master himself. These ones would be able to stand up to a Servant in a fight, they might not win alone, but they could at the very least delay and hurt them. They'd be Loa, with Baron Samedi you'd probably get one of the Guede but you might be able to go for different Loa but it'd be harder and you'd have to offer more.
>>
>>19655330
First sentence, I meant infiltration and information gathering.

Also the second tier ones probably couldn't take an Assassin, and by this I mean one of the Hassan aspects, but they wouldn't get stomped like they would against someone actually good in a straight up fight.

The third tier major ones could probably beat the shit out of an Assassin and if you get a few of them, and Baron Samedi can pull off a decent leveled "I know you" you'd have a good chance of winning. Though Saber having absurd Magic Resist would make it much harder for Samedi. He'd need to get it to A level or higher to hurt her. If he got a fully powered "I Know You" he could do some serious damage as that exceeds her magic resist.

>I believe the 'ideal' system discussed for running it was a somewhat refluffed world of darkness.

What about FATE Kerberos Club?
This variation of FATE has build-in power tiers and skill constructor that can be used for Noble Phantasms and things like Mystic Eyes. Not sure how good it'll be for Nasuverse magic. Don't know much about magi.
>>
>>19655356
Sabers are always kind of the foil to casters, I'm inclined to believe that Samedi Caster would be more likely to try for the Sabers master via any available dickery or maybe burn a command spell to bind/enhance a particularly powerful loa to the body of an innocent and send it at a honourable Saber. Because for every bit of light hearted antics you have happen you distract people from the fact that Samedi is the dark side of voodoo and has all sorts of potential to be a sinister motherfucker.
>>
Not relevant to his NPs, he should probably have the skill Charisma at A or at the very least B as Baron Samedi is pretty much the suavest guy around.

>>19655433
Yeah, fucking Saber. Fucking A ranked Magic Resistance. For this guy to take Saber he would either need something really personal for Thaumaturgy, just hair and blood wouldn't do, some evil tactics like using innocents to attack, or allying up with someone, supporting them and helping them take out Saber.

Then we betray our ally and backstab them with "I Know You" as in that time of allying up we should have had plenty of time to grab something that allows us to pull that at its full or almost full potential.
>>
You know who I would want as a Servant for a Fate game?

Steve Irwin.

He fits the qualifications for a Servant and has useful skills involving Beasts.

His NP could be Gates Of Australia, like Gilgamesh's but with deadly snakes and spiders.

Not all of them. He's too recent.

Could Yi Sun Shin be a servant? I'm not very familiar with the nasuverse at all. Is there a servant class pertaining to military genius or maritime skill?

Caster:Fafnir
>Strength: B
>Endurance: B
>Agility: B
>Mana: A
>Phantasm: B
>Luck: D
>Noble Phantasm: Ridil & Hroti

>Fafnir's Swords Ridil & Hroti both act as magical crests, and in his posession act as foci for his spellcasting. With them He does not have to use incantations. Ridlil has poison magic, and Hroti has Fire magic.

:Bio, the draconic foe faced by siegmund the hero, Fafnir is summoned to the holy grail war as an monster-type hero.
A Dwarf by nature, Fafnir was a magical shapeshifter, that famously held the form of a dragon, a feat only few could ever do. With wicked spells and draconic breath, he famously dueled the hero.

Summoned as a caster, Fafnir uses shapeshifting spells, and through Ridil and Hroti, uses fire and smoke on the battlefield, bringing harm to all in his way. Being a spirit originally, his stats are far superior to a hero-type.
He has the special attributes:
>>Shape shift.
Transform body into any beast.

>>Dragon-blood.
Spells are greatly empowered and enhanced past normal limits. A large plethora of spells are automatically known to fafnir.

Fun-facts: As a dwarf, Fafnir's original form is that of a young boy whom never reaches maturity. His height is 4'8. Much to his chargin.

Fafnir's goal in the holy grail war is to inherit all the worlds wealth and power, very much like a dwarf/dragon would be expected to do.
Will convert him to WOD tommorow.

Lemme try my hand at this Servant-making thing.
>Archer: Arjuna (Can also be summoned as Rider)
>Alignment: Lawful Good
>Strength: C
>Endurance: D
>Agility: C
>Mana: C
>Phantasm: B
>Luck: B
>Noble Phantasm: Gandiva and Vajra
>Bio: Born thanks to a wish his mother Pandu made to Indra, lord of thunder, Arjuna was a warrior without peer who excelled in the use of the bow. He helped lead the Pandavas win the war at Kurukshetra, slaying his half-brother Karna in battle. He is known to be a morally upright man, though he has been known to be consumed by doubt at least once, as seen in the Bhagavad Gita.

Gandiva comes with a quiver of infinite arrows and lets Arjuna fire Vajra once every three days by invoking Indra's name in a prayer and then charging up the bow. The result is a B-rank attack, either focused into one big blast or into a rain of arrows.

Arjuna has the special abilities:
> Independent Action: A- Allows Arjuna to operate without a Master for a week.
> Divinity: A- As the son of Indra and having joined his brothers in the heavens after death, Arjuna has the highest rank in this attribute, like his half-brother Karna.
> Riding: A- Qualifies Arjuna for Rider class.

... Huh, willya look at that. He looks like a nerfed version of Karna.
>>
>>19655611
Isn't he qualified as berserker also, since he lost his mind and killed his brother?
>>
>>19656166
That's probably another option for him, sorta like how St. George can either be Saber or Rider, and how Hercules can be anything except Caster.

This iteration of Fafnir got the spell-slinging powers.
>>
>>19656189
Okay, but what use can make a caster of the shapeshifting ability? he's not a true phantasmal beast( or whatever those inhuman things were called); he'll be sliced like salami by every other servant.
>>
>>19656218
Probably to make himself a faster and more unpredictable target, like a fly or a bird.
>>
>>19655522
As a fellow Australian, I cannot let this go unstatted.
Keep in mind I'm very new to Fate/Stay Night.

Rider: Steve Irwin
>Strength: B
>Endurance: A
>Speed: C
>Mana: D
>Phantasm: B
>Luck: B

>Noble Phantasm: Life Of A Hunter
Steve Irwin's life was dedicated to an endless chain of hunting, and as such cannot successfully fight without choosing his prey. Selecting a class of servant (or a master, should the name be known) will allow Steve Irwin to use his other phantasms against the chosen servant and master. All other servants consider him one rank lower for every attribute but Luck, which becomes E. Additionally, he cannot use his phantasms against them. This will not change unless the prey he has chosen is killed, or a command seal is used.

>Noble Phantasm: Beast Tamer
Steve Irwin has defeated many beasts stronger, faster and more cunning than him, and his link with the land connects him with those he has conquered. Steve Irwin can call the beings he has faced to aid him in battle, along with anything lower on the food chain. Should a Servant be killed by him, he gains a one-time ability to call upon their aid for five minutes.

>Noble Phantasm: A Fool's Immortality
Steve Irwin has survived countless fatal encounters, and by normal logic it should have been impossible to live to the age he did. Should Steve Irwin engage in dangerous activities, his Luck is considered one rank higher, and only damage to his heart will kill him.

_

I think this may be kinda overpowered, though. Thoughts, criticisms, points I've missed like an idiot?
>>
>>19656730
At least one of his Phantasms should be called "The Crocodile Hunter".
>>
>>19656845
I didn't want to be so obvious, but sure, Beast Tamer can be renamed Crocodile Hunter. Unless another Phantasm would fit it more?
>>
>>19656730
I like it, I'm not that worried about him being overpowered. He is exceptionally vulnerable to getting blindsided, if someone he isn't explicitly hunting goes after him he'll get his ass handed to him on a silver platter.

When going up against his chosen target with a Fool's Immortality Up he is pretty dangerous, with Luck and Endurance both at A he is next to impossible to kill and he can probably do some damage with Beast Tamer, hordes of elephants, crocodiles, lions and other predators descend upon his enemy, him riding atop a 30 foot long Croc.

You could have something in Gandiva about how the twang of the string was like thunder.

What rank is Gandiva itself?

I might improve Vajra some, it was both thunderbolt and diamond, It could cut any object and was irresistible force. Maybe instead of being a blast or rain of arrows, the latter of which he probably should be able to do with his archery skill and Gandiva, have it be a single lightning fast attack that penetrates defenses.
>>
>>19657062
Gandiva is around rank B to A, I think. And yeah, making it a single armor-piercing shot is cool.

I'm also thinking of giving Arjuna Brahmastra. I think that without Karna's ability to turn it into a tac-nuke with prana, it's just a single powerful homing shot.
>>
Is it just me, or are the Fate/Stay Night characters balanced by being completely overpowered at whatever they do?
>>
>>19657132
That's how it's supposed to work, everyone is supposed to have their own special brand of HAX, it all kinda balances out as even if your HAX, HAX A can beat HAX B, that HAX C, which is beaten by HAX B, won't kick your ass.

Unless we're talking about Gilgamesh whose only real weakness is that he's arrogant as all hell and thus screws himself over.
>>
>>19657173
I meant HAX C will kick your ass. Also you can have environmental factors, clever usage and knowing how the other person's HAX works can give you one hell of an advantage, which is why you try not to reveal who you are.
>>
Hey guys, I just realized something.

A heroic spirit qualifies for Assassin if they have done a great act of subterfuge, right?

If that's the case... Queen Elizabeth the first qualifies for Assassin. The most English family in the world is directly descended from a German family, after all. They became English when people started hating Germans.

King Solomon would make one hell of a Caster.

He's renowned for having great magical powers such as being able to command Djinns and whatnot and he even has one of the more well-known books of demonology named after him. There's also the whole supreme wisdom thing, and the fact that Israel reached its apex in terms of power and wealth under his rule doesn't hurt.

I don't think he uses a sword.
But you can always get some artistic liberties with it.

Don Quixote
Rider

An old man of Spain, gullible but good natured, inspired by heroic literature to take up the lance in search of adventure.
>Strength: D
>Endurance: D
>Agility: D
>Mana: E
>Phantasm: E~A++
>Luck: A
>The Chivalric Code
All stats increase a full rank when acting in defense of a woman or the downtrodden.
>The Ingenious Gentleman of La Mancha
Weak in body but strong in conviction, reality itself is malleable to Quixote's beliefs. The closer held, the farther reaching.

Basically a servant who'd be difficult to win with, but fun to play.

Illustrating his later phantasm a bit, Don Quixote, as a knight-errant, believes it his duty to deliver justice upon the wicked; good always triumphing over evil (in those sorts of stories he reads), it would be hypothetically impossible for him to lose against any servant of evil alignment, no matter how skilled or numerous. However, also believing a knight never turns his sword against a lady, he'd be absolutely powerless against literally any female combatant imaginable.

No idea what would happen should he face an evil woman.

Furthermore, though he carries no signature weapon, any object he is or can be convinced is a weapon he may wield as one, with all the blessings and abilities he believes it to possess. He could slice a tank in half with a wooden sword if he believed it capable.

The only caveat to all this is Quixote's belief must be genuine; he can't simply decide he's good at something or that the fountain pen you handed him can split the sky, it has to be something he's internalized within the very fiber of his being.
>>
>>19657335
EGO used him as Caster in HGW Seattle. Along with the Skinwalker as Berserker. Solomon is currently running a company, and my theory is that he'll become the God-Emperor of Mankind.
>>19657343

>>

>>
>>19657589

Also, if we're doing an Avatar war, Poseidon as Rider.
>>
>>19657358
>he'd be absolutely powerless against literally any female combatant imaginable.

That actually might depend on situation.
I bet that facing someone like Arthuria he would convince himself that he fights a man. Because, obviously, no woman can be a knight in his book.

The scary part is, with his Phantasm that just might become a reality...

As for evil women... Weren't there stories about brave knights slaying evil witches? I guess he should be fine facing against a female evil Caster. Or any Caster for that matter since only Satan-worshipers engage in black magic.
>>
>>19657718
Double gender-bent King Arthur?
>>
Has anyone statted a Doom Rider rider?
>>
>>19657561
Thanks!
>>19657718
Well, the idea I had behind his noble phantasm was that it's all subject to his perception. He wouldn't inherently know whether someone was good or evil (or, in Arthuria's case, a man or a woman). He'd probably think Arthuria simply a very beautiful man, unless she revealed herself in some fashion he'd be unable to ignore (I doubt shouting at him would get the point across).
>"For the last time, good sir knight, I tell you I am a woman!"
>"As beautiful as one, by God's grace, to be sure!"
As for evil women, you have to remember Don Quixote's brain basically overwrites real world complications for literary convenience. Most likely if he found himself fighting one, he'd think them a man hiding their true shape, or a demon possessing a woman's form, since women are always pure and noble.

Basically, he's gullibility is both his greatest strength and weakness. In the service of a master of rhetoric or an accomplished liar, he might be nigh unstoppable. But, of course, he would never condone subterfuge or ungentlemanly, unsportsmanlike tactics, proudly announcing his name whenever meeting an opponent in battle.

Triumphus - The Sword of Rome: The Triumphus is the highest gift any roman can have receive from it's country and it's usually given at it's Emperors. Germanicus was the last citizen to receive this legendary gift and so he carries with pride. It's a a fairly simple Spatha but anyone who looks at it will sense a great power within it, as the sword carries the pride of the longest empire in the whole earth.
Triumphus while not a particularly powerful sword when compared to the other legendary ones, it will make lesser opponents cower instantly to the user and make it's user allies rally stronger to his cause.

Teutoberg Forest - The Bloody Revenge of the Roman Legions: The Battle of the Teutoberg Forest was one of the biggest disasters that ever happened in Roman Military History, where over 20,000 romans were killed and one of the Legendary Eagles was lost in battle, and Germanicus whole military carreer was about revenging this shameful defeat.
Teutoberg Forest is a reality marble where Germanicus transforms the world into the so fated forest, where 20,000 butchered roman corpses were left hangeds in the inumerous trees, and with an enraged Germanicus appears 8 mighty bloodthirsty for revenge roman legions, who will then use a ferocious charge at the enemy.

Speaking of which, here's an updated sheet for the Baron.

Baron Samedi
Strength: E
Endurance: E
Agility: E
Mana: A
Phantasm: E - A++
Luck: B

Noble Phantasm - B: Friends On The Other Side
The Baron can summon powerful voodoo spirits to do his bidding. However, they will want some sort of compensation for their work, no matter how small or large their job.

Noble Phantasm - E - A++: Things I Haven't Even Tried
The Baron is a master at sympathetic magic. Items he possesses of the target of his magic increase it's effectiveness. A piece of clothing doesn't do much; A blood sample can over ride almost all magical defenses, to say nothing of a phantasm or sympathetic artifact.

Noble Phantasm - A: I Am You
The Baron is really just the true spirit of Baron Samedi acting through the spirit of the human most like him upon summoning, the spirit is not Samedi, but Samedi acts through it...

The bow given to Arjuna by Indra, it comes with a quiver of infinite arrows and lets Arjuna fire his other two Phantasms. The twang of the bow has a sound like the cracking of thunder, so while it gives the arrows piercing power, it makes stealthy shooting harder.

>Rank B-- Vajra: The Diamond Thunderbolt of Heaven
Every three days, Arjuna may invoke Indra's name in a prayer. The result is that the next arrow Arjuna fires becomes a lightning-fast attack that can penetrate any defense: as fast as lightning, as strong as diamond. However, Arjuna must keep the arrow on the string for five seconds before it can be launched as a Vajra shot.

>Rank A-- Brahmashira: Oh Brahma, Sunder the Earth
Once each week, Arjuna can pray to Brahma to use this weapon, which is a single, powerful homing shot that creates an explosion comparable to an anti-tank rocket. It can only be used on those with weaker abilities than himself, like Karna's version, and can't be supercharged with prana.

Well, she became some sort of a monster in legends, and I'm not sure about Nasuverse rules about summoning someone-who-once-was-human...

Aside from this, yes, she would make a terrifying Caster.
With NP allowing her to gave birth to various monsters or call her children from across the world.

Also it should be noted that she could literally become pregnant from breath.

And... err... I remember a legend that she rapes boys when they reach puberty which is why their voices start to change and hair start grow... I'm not sure that that legend should be made into NP...

Church would have... many words to say to her, however.

There lived the son of the titan Thetis, The Giant Adamastor who controlled the storms and sunked many many ships.
Vasco da Gama and his crew were the first sailors to defeat the giant and so they renamed the Cape to Cape of the Good Hope and now Vasco can summon a little of his power to defeat his enemy.

A meager workhorse, nonetheless prized by Don Quixote as a faithful steed. Although slow and ambling, it is said it will never fail to reach its destination. Quixote's only consistent "Material" phantasm, it is subject to the effects of his conditional "Immaterial" phantasms.

>Noble Phantasm - Rank C "The Chivalric Code"
It is a knight's privilege to defend the weak and abused in the name of his designated lady. In the event that Quixote finds himself acting on behalf of a woman or the disenfranchised, all parameters temporarily increase by one rank. If Quixote's master is a woman, all parameters permanently increase one rank.

>Noble Phantasm - Rank ??? "The Ingenious Gentleman of La Mancha"
Weak in body but strong in conviction, reality itself is malleable to Quixote's beliefs, provided he holds them genuinely and honestly in his heart. Under these conditions, Quixote is permitted to wield any object of any description as a noble phantasm, to the exact parameters and abilities he believes it to be capable of (at variable mana cost), or perform any task he thinks is within his means (again at variable mana cost), up to and including the predestination or orchestration of unfolding events (always at substantial mana cost).

Shit was nuts.

I'll give you a stat line for Beowulf.
Class: Saber
Name: Beowulf
Alignment: Neutral Good
Strength: A
Endurance: B
Agility: D
Mana: C
Phantasm: B
Luck: B

Ability: Monster Slayer (B+): Beowulf inflicts more damage against anything with beastial or draconic traits.
Noble Phantasm: Hrunting, Sword of the Red Plains (C+)
Hrunting is a incredibly sharp blade, able to cut through almost any substance. However, it cannot damage anything constructed magically.

Noble Phantasm: Naegling, The Unfailing Blade (B+)
Naegling is Beowulf's trusted family blade. While it caps his strength at C, it at the same time increases his damage against monsters and dragons, as well as boosting his Endurance, Luck, and Agility to A.

Noble Phantasm: Bypassing the Hide (B)
No matter the defenses, Beowulf can use his Strength to break through. He can forgo the use of his swords to boost his Strength to A+, and attempt to simply rip his target in half. This attack must be contested with the target's Strength.
>>

Seconded that.
With NP "I don't die when I'm killed"

More Russian Casters:
Baba Yaga - cool old lady, live in the house with chicken legs, fly in mortar, eat children. Depending on legends may be utterly evil witch or helpful adviser. Still will try to eat the hero, but can be impressed. IIRC, can turn people into animals, enchant forests, control animals and send swans to kidnap people.

Koshey the Deathless. As the title implied, he doesn't die when killed.
Proto-lich. Have a philactery which is a needle hidden inside a duck hidden inside a mare hidden inside a chest which is hanging on chains on the old oak on the island that either constantly change its location or constantly hidden behind the clouds. There is usually a quest that hero must overcome in order to find it.
Can turn people into stone or trees, can either fly or teleport, like to kidnap princesses. I think he's based on some god of the underworld.

Vasilisa the Wise. Helpful adviser. Have a power over water - from her sleeves flows rivers. In one tale she gave the hero three artifacts. Combs, I think. I don't quite remember the story, but I think, when the hero thought them behind him the first comb turned into forest, the second into mountains and the third into hundred warriors.

What's the ruling on mythological beings who weren't exactly human, but weren't anything as powerful as gods either? I say this because I still believe Chiron would be a very useful Servant (Archer, most likely).

Not least of which because you get a Servant who can turn his master into a figure of heroic skill with one noble phantasm infused montage.
>>
>>19657358

I love most of this. I'd argue for him being Lancer because of his lance and his terrible luck (things don't turn out very well for him, ever.)

I'm trying to figure out a good Reality Marble or PHantasm to title The Impossible Dream. The song infects Dulcinea with his ideals, maybe it forces other Servants to conform to the ideals and tropes of his chivalric romances?

That depends on your rank of Mad Enchantment (the higher the rank, the better bonus to stats in exchange for more and more sanity) and the nature of NP.

Yeah. Beowulf never really went mad during his myths. So, likely, he'd be able to use Naegling at the very least. Hrunting was a borrowed blade, yet is still part of his legend, the blade that failed him. He failed Naegling, shattering it with his strength against the dragon.
>>
>>19659736
Ups, an error.
Needle hidden in the egg hidden in the duck, etc.

>>19659771
Come to think of it... Yeah, only Koshey doesn't pretend to be anything but evil overlord. He's also famous for being fucking rich with chests loaded with gold. But he doesn't spend it on anything. He just like gold to be there. And watch.
>>
>>19659799
Wrong, you forget that time he (and some other bloke) wore a wolf-pelt and went berserk, also furry.

It wasn't one of his better moments.
I may be mistaking this event of one mythic hero for another, but I'm fairly sure that was Beowulf.
>>
>>19659841
That isn't in his poem at all. He did however kill some ice serpents or something while swimming.
>>
I suggest jack for an assassin, saber or archer or whatever.
Not jack the ripper.
I mean Jack that constantly appears in fairy and folk tales.

The cunning thief, the giant slayer, the skin churl, the fool.
Jack of all Trades, Master of None.
Technically depending on what folktale you take he could fit into any class. (He does magic in some)
>>
>>19659898
Since EGO's planning to do four sets of Servants, we can have one set to consist entirely of Jacks.
>>
>>19659898
Nice. That's a pretty good idea.
>>
>>19659898

As long as it's not the Jack from Fables, he was unbearable. A Jack that's the ultimate everyman would be interesting in a rumble between Heroic Spirits.
>>
>>19659803
Oh, and until the needle is destroyed Koshey can't die. Period.
He can be imprisoned, however.
Once he was bounded (literally, he was hanging in chains in the closet) by Vasilisa the Wise (or the Beautiful - there are two Vasilisas in Russian folk tales). He required tree full baskets of water to "restore his power". When idiot hero gave it to him, he broke the chains, catch Vasilisa and flied into sunset.
>>
>>19660157
I'd say he's a LITTLE too OP for the Grail War then.
>>
>>19660374
>I'd say he's a LITTLE too OP for the Grail War then.
>a LITTLE too OP for the Grail War then.
>too OP for the Grail War

As in, too powerful compared to the guy with anti-world phantasm?
Besides, he probably doesn't have a way to get prana without Master.
He's also an old and not particularly strong man most of the time. Breaking of chains was magic, IIRC.
But yeah, he's a boss.
>>
>>19660419
It's more the "Cannot die until a needle hidden in a nearly impossible place to reach thing" that makes him over powered.
>>
>>19660374

Fixed by the phylactery being summoned with him, leaving the Master with the problem of hiding it. Or maybe the master has to keep it on him, for the sake of fairness.
>>
Since the grail can summon heroic spirits from the future, isn't it somewhat conceivable that it could summon Judge Dredd as a servant?

He'd make one hell of a Rider.
>>
>>19660433
OK, that's a good balance thing. Hey EGO, if you're going to use him, do this.

My group actually put together a grail war a while back, it was quite entertaining to compete against someone other than our DM. Our lineup was as follows:

Saber: Surt (oh loopholes, you so crazy)
Archer: Robin Hood
Rider: Ramses II
Lancer: Benkei
Caster: Dante
Assassin: Hassan
Berserker: Samson

The final two were Berserker and Archer, with Archer ending up with the victory.
>>
>>19660492
>Caster: Dante
NP: "Everyone I don't like rot in Hell! Forever!"

>Archer ending up with the victory.
Archers are always full of hax.
>>
>>19660492
Who was your Servant?
>>
>>19660157
Continuing with Koshey.
Appearance: he's a very old skinny bald man with an epic beard. Usually wears some armor and have a two-handed sword. Not very good with it but can defeat a hero at the beginning of his journey.
>>
>>19660569
Oh, and wears a steel crown.
Sometimes epic bear is substituted for goatee.
>>
>>19660517

Surt. I used F/SN Rider to convince the DM it had a precedent. Of course, he was broken as shit, and after Surt one-shotted Ramses and later activated his anti-world EX Noble Phantasm, everyone started hunting the Master.

Dante shoved him into the seventh level of Hell, but I had enough time to use command seals to give Surt extra time before he was unsummoned. Berserker and Archer were the only two who were able to escape the fire.
>>
>>19660594
Nice move.
>>
>>19660586
>An epic bear
So he uses bears as facial hair? Kick ass man.
>>
>>19660717
Shit. Beard. English isn't my native language, sorry for mistakes.

The idea is cool, however.
>>
>>19660510

Yeah, Robin Hood was pretty busted as well. He could conscript people into the merry men turning them into mini-servants, summon Will Scarlet and Little John, and his arrows functioned in a fashion similar to Gae Bolg.

Dante was pretty meh aside from the Reality Marble.
>>
>>19660867
Did the Hassan ever use his phantasm?
>>
>>19660867
Which Hassan was summoned, btw?
>>
>>19660911

Yeah, this one had Zabaniya: Delusional Nightmare. He had the face of Satan under his mask, materialized the worst fears of the target, killing them with fright. He used it to kill Caster's Master.
>>
>>19660940
That's a pretty sweet phantasm actually. Fitting too.

Noble Phantasm:
>Osaka Castle: The Unbreakable Fortress
It was in this castle that Sanada Yukimura made a place on Japanese Story as one of the greatest warrriors of the country. There Sanada defended against the inumerous soldiers, cavallary, guns, cannons and other mighty warriors that Tokugawa throwed at him in order to defeat the last bastion against Tokugawa rule's in japan. While Sanada may have defeated later his acts of bravery during the siege were left in japanese history forever leading to him being called "The Crimson Demon of War","A Hero who may appear once in a hundred years" and the "Number one warrior in Japan".
When he uses this Anti-Army NP, the whole mighty castle appears behind Yukimura. The castle comes with a contingent of soldiers(not Ionian Hetaeroi level) who may help Yukimura and it's master, and a group of 10 ninjas(The Sanada Ten Braves) who are Heroic Spirits by themselves but as they are being called by Yukimura they appear weaken than if they were normally summoned. While fighting in defense of the Fort, All Yukimura stats go up in one.

Sanada can also use a minor version of it where he begins to consider any edification that he wants on the Osaka Castle gaining the bonuses on stats and half of the Senada Ten Braves but only a small handfull of souldiers

>Also he truly is a lancer, but his lance never really got like a famous name or legend.

For characters like that, consider an NP that works like Lancelot's anyweapon NP but instead works much better so long as the weapon is "a lance"

I was considering more like Alexander where he has his sword and he is pretty good with it but it isn't a NP

The thing is, Alexander isn't a Saber, he's a Rider. So it makes sense to have a nameless blade. Less so with a lancer and his lance.

If you want a Lancer with a famous lance, look no farther than TADAKTSU FUCKING HONDA. He was essentially Japanese Lu Bu, but better because he didn't get hanged LIKE A BITCH.

He used the Tonbo-Giri, the Dragonfly Cutter, one of the three greatest spears in Japan. It was so sharp, a dragonfly committed suicide just by landing on it.

Aside from his bitchin spear, he was never wounded during battle, despite being involved in the thickest fighting of the goddamn Sengoku period. This was probably due to his fucking awesome STAG ANTLER helmet, which basically told whoever saw it that they were completely fucked.

Noble Phantasm - Rank A - "Kukuijimonji"
An apparently normal, albeit very fine sword with only one remarkable quality: the ability to nullify magic along the length of its blade. Does average damage, in line with what a normal sword can do.

Ability - A+ - "Sandanzuki"
In combat, Okita may initiate a strike that seemingly lands in three places at once. Combined with the nature of his Noble Phantasm, this makes defense exceedingly difficult.

Ability - D+ - "Hirazuki"
Immediately after missing a strike or successfully parrying, Okita may launch a surprise attack that deals minor to moderate damage, depending on whether the opponent has seen the attack before.

Yukimura: The Hero's who appear once a 100 Years

While he made himself famous as Sanada Saemonnosuke Yukimura his true name is actually Sanada Nuboshige. Nuboshige himself adopted the name Yukimura to be able to finally become one of the greatest warriors leaving all his weakness behind with his older name
Yukimura is adept in fighting with all kinda of spear, or anything that could pass for a Lance, and every spear he uses is considered a Noble Phantasm, and will gradually become his favourite kinda of Spear : The Jumonji Giri

Seriously hilarious potential.
Also, I imagine a lot of first generation magi, aka mages born into a family without magic, end up a lot like your average unknown armies character.
>>
>>19662372
Yeah.
I actually thought a bit about a setting based both on Unknown Armies and Nasuverse.
On the background you have a conflict between old mages (traditional magi) whose magic is slowly dying (but not as dead as in UA) and new ones (adepts) who gain power by being batshit insane.
Magi have connections, influence and ability to dictate "rules" for occult underground... Mostly because they aren't as crazy as adepts. Adepts generally have more power. Or at least potential for more power.
The conflict slowly builds but for now there isn't any open fights... A few assassinations here and there don't count.

There were some more details, but I'm going to skip them.

So, magi have their Holy Grail War. Five wars go as planned (corrupted Grail aside). Then, when preparations for the 6th War (with more fail-safes) are completed some douchebag kleptomancer with magor charge steals the whole war from magi, Servants and all.
>>
>>19662535

I don't think someone like that could accomplish such a thing, the Holy Grail War is pretty much watched over by both the mage association and the church, the two top dog in term of the Occult in the whole Nasuverse.

Also the Grail outer shell was pretty much destroyed in the 4th war, then the Greater Grail either get dismantled after the 5th war, or Heaven Feel happen.

But yeah, Id love to read what happened then since the wiki say the confrontation was on par with a Holy Grail War, Waver probably gathered his students.
>>
>>19662783
...I'm not sure. Fuck, I'm going to have to re-read UBW. Oh well. GARcher getting his time in the spotlight makes up for that.
>>
>>19662630
Kleptomancer magicked it away. Major charge is capable of it, IIRC.
And yes, Magic Association and the Church are going to catch up in what's going on, especially since at least half of the new Masters don't know anything about the war, so it would take longer than usual.

Also, this potential setting isn't a straight crossover between Fate and UA. If I finish it someday, I'll change organizations and dynamic between various types of characters so the setting could actually work. It's just a general idea for now.

Berserker.
Bruce was ALWAYS mad.
But it was a calm rage...
Would love seeing him yell in that classic bruce style and destroy people.

His game of death outfit would be his noble fantasm.

Fate/Extra
If its canonical or it isn't it's another thing.
But it's the only thing we have on a Hand to Hand fighter
>>
>>19662910
But, from what I understand, the servants of Berserker class AREN'T usually that strong, but the Mad Enhancement makes up for it?
>>
>>19662938
Mad Enhancement makes them stronger but seals their other abilities.
So most of the times being a Berserker is suffering
>>
What about Sun Tzu?
>>
>>19662938

Entirely depend on the servant, take Hercules for exemple. He can fit into every class but Berserker class pretty much gimp him, however Lancelot mad enhancement made him stand to Gil spam, so it ususally depend on the hero in question.
>>
>>19662938
They can be.
For example, herakles. HE was strong. Mad enhancement made him stronger, but any skills he might of had suddenly became smashy-smashy.
Ilya was the best master he could have had as a berserker, as she had a a SHITLOAD of command seals.

>>19662957
Saber or Assasin
>>
>>19662957
Sun Tzu fits...
Saber
Lancer
Archer
Rider
Berserker (Since any hero can fit this)

He would be one hell of a powerful Servant.

Alright, I'll edit Berserker slightly.

Impassable Resolve (C) - The Master of the Viking at Stamford Bridge can set an area as his "Bridge". While he is in this area, physical parameters increase by one rank.

Now he's still a mindless beast, but gets to keep that signature "don't fucking fight him here" feel.
>>
>>19662971
>Berserker (Since any hero can fit this)
Any hero who has been insane. Not any hero at all.
>>
>>19662971

I think he'd fit better as a caster, Sun Tzu wasn't known as a great warrior was he?
>>
>>19662991
The way I see it, any hero can fit it. It's just the ones that did go insane are more likely to get into the class. Berserker is a catch all class really. You can get pretty much any other class there, just insane.
>>19662992
True, he'd also fit well as a Caster. And he was a pretty decent warrior. He actually fought in battles if what I remember about him is correct.

>Berserker (バーサーカー, ?), Mad Warrior, is one of the seven normal Servant classes summoned for the Holy Grail War. Servants placed within this class are always incarnations of Heroic Spirits who have gone berserk during battle at least once in their lifetime. This trait allows them to use the special ability Mad Enhancement, which trades their consciousness and sanity for a large power boost. This class is usually for magi who have summoned Heroic Spirits with insufficient abilities and attributes, allowing them to strengthen their Servants to make up for their lower attributes and compete against stronger opponents.

I'd like to see some of the Fate/Extra servants in the Fuyuki grail war, if Tamamo wasn't gimped to all fuck due to the combat system of that game she'd be very scary.
>>
>>19663049
Thanks for that. That clears it up.
>>19663059
Eh. I prefer to simply say: FUCK Fate/Extra, not canon. Aside from the Robin Hood bit, that was actually a pretty sweet idea, their being multiple Robin Hoods, like there are multiple Hassassins.

Its as canon as any route of F/SN. Deal with it.

Most of the servants were great too, like Nursery Rhyme, but the main one yo ucan summon are the best and would have a place in Fuyuki without a doubt.
>>
>>19663119
Fine I'll deal with it. It's just to me, Fate/Extra is non-canon. Just my opinion.
>>
Wasn't Sun Tzu just an Old Man in a wheel chair?
>>
>>19663204

Fast wheels?

Nah. He wasn't Fast Wheels. He was actually competent.
>>
>>19663204
Well... That would make him Rider.

Let's try this statting...

>Simo Häyhä
>Strength: E
>Endurance: EX
>Agility: C
>Mana: E
>Luck: A

>Weapons
Mosin-Nagant M28 "Pystykorva"
Suomi KP/31 submachinegun
Simo can spawn ammunition for these weapons in the appropriate feeding devices, but only in his pockets or pouches. Weapons still have to be loaded manually.

>Ability: Breathless (B)
Simo can stay unseen with ease, having evaded counter-snipers, artillery-strikes and a full infantry battalion. This ability raises one rank if the terrain is familiar (needs to scout it once) to Simo. If he is not appropriately camoflaged for the area he's in, the ability lowers a rank, and cannot benefit from the familiar terrain bonus.

>Fantasm: White Death (EX)
A white, brightly glowing bullet. It contains relatively little mana, but it's concentrated enough in that little projectile to pierce any armor without fail. If Simo is detected, the bullet may be dodged if the Servant's Agility stat is high enough. The requirement drops as range increases, due to the flight time of the bullet. The second limitation is ammunition. Simo only has 5 cartridges loaded with these special bullets. For ease of carry, they are stored in a standard stripper clip, but they can be used individually like any other cartridge.
>>
>>19663506
That's as archer of course, as assassin his fantasm would drop a rank and his ability would gain one, probably.

New thread.

>>19663153
I don't think you understand what canon means. You don't get a say in the matter.
>>
>>19663980
Personally, it isn't canon. It's like the non-existent second and third Matrix movies, and the Turkeyhandle anime.
