============

You are presently being Daedalus, the Demi-Godlike AI incharge of reasource distribution for the system containing the garden world 137A, colloquially known as Harper's Reach. Your system is presently under assault by a swarm of Von Neuman machines that are currently parked in the local Oort, soaking up starlight and eating their way through comets and asteroids. Should they leave today, you estimate that it will take them approximately four Terran Months to arrive in orbit around your planet, the same amount of time it would take you to build a small evacuation fleet.

Fortunately, observed swarm tactics have shown that the swarm will not depart from the Oort until it has eliminated the target planet's network centers, disabling its ability to call for aid or report on its weakness; for that purpose it has ejected much smaller 'scout' micro swarms to eliminate your precious communications capabilities. To hold these off, the greater ReaDS has ordered you to recruit teams of young girls - whom the Vonny IFF mysteriously labels <friendly/non-hostile> - under a Firewall cadet initiative known as Operation Mahou Shoujo.

You are in the process of recruiting this planet's first team. You have narrowed it down to three promising girls in attendance at Armstrong University; Minaka Forte, Anne Choi, and Reimu Harlon. After testing the strength of their character, you transported them into what will serve as Firewall's main base of operations on the planet for the duration of the crisis, and informed them of the planet's imminant danger through the an Omniwiki joint wik, which given one of the participants was like a 'sline getting drunk while high.

Neat, we've got fancy text overlays in the op.

Also porting ending consensus on equipment from discussion thread.

Clothing: Nanite suits for general operation and the power armor for space / mass battles. Automatic layered shields for defense and unarmed combat, and blue goo.

Minaka: force sword, shield-gauntlet things that make a directed concussive burst of air by rapidly expanding in a particular shape (also good for punching in a pinch). One guy also wanted her to have a gun.
Reimu: twin forceshortswords, dual FLN machine pistols, future!bow for heavy hitting(might be made by combining swords), pack/ quiver for ammo
Anne: shields and Nanite swarms to project fire, ice, lightning etc. Maybe also drones with weapons on 'em.

Build Sensor Net
Start on training.
Start looking for a second team
Finish Dummy Plug System
Begin constructing a few escape vessels. Our data even if we fail will be priceless to HQ. Taking the girls for combat experience helps even more.
Begin constructing shallow railgun broadside fleet. I'd vote for FTL, so we can just teleport(the slowest FTL OP listed) 3m KM away and pound away at them. give them measures to self-destruct
>>
>>19923708
As Daedalus, wait to see if they accept.

While waiting, put our orbital shipyards to work, constructing a satellite sensor net that will provide us with early warning when the scouts arrive.

Also, look to purchase a pre-built pubescent clone body from the Face Conglomerate, put a fork of ourselves in there, and prepare it to be used to determine the viability of our Dummy Plug Contingency during the first combat operation.

We can't take the chance that the Vonnies will eat the FTL engines of the ships.

"You have my fists," says Minaka, cracking her knuckles, "Whatever good they'll be."

Anne give's Minaka a look, as though the bigger girl were insane.

"M-Mina... are you..." She then sees the fire in her friend's eyes, and does what little she can to steel herself. "Okay. Yes. If Minaka's in, I'm in too - I can't let her do this on her own!"

Reimu, on the other hand, rubs her temples as though she has the most massive migraine right now. "Higher Gods and All Minor Deities are you two stupid. Even if this IFF glitch doesn't get corrected, they're eating moons - MOONS. There won't be enough firepower in the entire verse to stop those kinds of numbers." She sighs. "But I suppose dying fighting is better than dying horribly. Count me in."

"Okay," You say, clapping your 'hands'. "Let's get to work."

Meanwhile, your many forks get to work as well, diverting reasources and energy to preparing the planet for the inevitable siege - or, more optimistically, the counter strike. Orbital compilers, feeding off asteroids brought in over the last 24 hours, begin to shape the seventy thousand necessary probes to cover a planet of Reach's volume with an Atomski-Kepler sensor grid. Eighty shipyards - primarily those owned by Firewall and its friendly conglomerates - begin the processes of building your fleet.

And on an afterthought, one of your forks contacts the Face Conglomerate. Their athletic bodies are generally top notch, so getting some civilian grade backups for the girls (and, more importantly, one to throw a fork in to test the principles of the DOLLS system) might well be in order.

Fleet Distribution:

=Omniwiki FAQ=

>HALP! I am needing to be the Evac my d00ds. What ship is best?

A Fortune Class Server Cruiser is the most ergonomically efficient means of evacuating people -en masse- from a system. While it does require the cortical stack to be removed from the evacuees, morph data genotype is easily recovered (especially if their morphs were custom grown). While these ships do -not- contain morph growing Vats, the orders can either be sent to the new site, or in case of colonization, Vats can be compiled upon Server touch down.

A single FCSC can carry approximately 300 million cortical stacks within.
>>
I'm >>19924278, and I'm cool with the fleet ratio in >>19924243, assuming cruisers aren't FTL or can be made to selfdestruct their engine upon starting to be eaten.

Also if custom bodies is impossible/takes awhile go with generic athletic bodies for the replacement bodies.
>>
>>19924312
Population total then? looks like we won't need more then 5 unless this is an older colony.

I'm voting for fleet wide FTL, slowest sure, but that still able to put 3 million km between us and them and postioning will be key to cutting them down. At that speed we can throw the fleet into the sun in ~50 seconds if the planet is 1 AU away.
>>
>>19924372
Custom bodies take 6 months to grow.
Customizing pre-grown bodies is probably much faster, but still would require surgical modification and gene treatments, so I don't know but I would suspect a week or two.
>>
>>19924394
No. No FTL. What part of "IF THEY EAT THIS IT BAD" don't you get?
>>
>>19924394
It's far too dangerous. We don't know how quickly the Vonnies could suborn the ship systems and take them over, but considering that they were able to take out the comm system on the trans-human outpost before they even got a single message out, I think it's pretty damn fast.
>>
>>19924454
>hurp durp they eat it instantly
>hurp durp we're at least ten fucking light seconds away firing at them

What part of this isn't star trek don't you understand?
>>
>>19924278
I don't really agree with the codenames. That'll just be another point of conflict between Minaka and Reimu.

Just go with their current names.
>>
>>19924496

Yes, but that doesn't stop you from not being able to detect a single Vonny or three from sneaking under your radar, going to the big shiny energy thing that's attracting their q-tangled particles and taking a nom on your FTL drive while you sit around. Or nomming on one of your servers and straight up disabling the ship.

Their tactic isn't going to be just 'throw bodies at it'. It's also going to be 'lay some of us all around as a trap and see if they attach to the ship, and then eat it from the inside out.'
>>
>>19924598
that's an actual threat. You said they don't reflect RADAR/LIDAR yes?
>>
>>19924544
Minaka will be pissed at Reimu for sitting in Takamichi's seat anyway.

Plus it's a great opportunity for character development. Eventually, the team will bond and, like, not hate each other, and finally we'll get to see Minaka thinking to herself that Reimu became worthy of the seat.
>>
>>19924637

Nope. They nom that stuff - delicious energies.
>>
>>19924659
See, that's bad. Ranged targeting based on 10 second old shadows over stars will be cute
>>
>>19924659
So we can't target them except via passive light, and if we're detecting them via our sensor net, then they're already in range to start nomming the very sensor satellites themselves.

This feels like trying to hit WW2 torpedo boats with WW1 ship guns. At night.
>>
>>19924659
we can't be cuter and find them via missing reflections either unless we pack enough dust to cover a sizable area. That'd only work for star trek ranges I bet. FTL is probably out, but what are our best sublight engines
>>
>>19924766
well, we have super computers and really accurate star maps. I betting we can target everything except lone car sized ones fine.

especially if we make sure to use the most sensitive optics possible during construction.

Your forks go to work preparing to fulfil the parameters that you have set for them. You decide to construct an even ten evacuation ships, which is enough to hold 100% of the population at 92.3% capacity of each ship. The frigates and cruisers you choose to build at a ratio of 3:1, focusing on the dorsal railguns hopefully capable of punching large holes through their offensive lines, leaving the cruiser contingent to mop up. Wisely, you choose to forgo any faster than light capabilities outside the evacuation ships. When completed in four months, your fleet will consist of Fifty two Frigates and 18 cruisers, capable of an acceleration of.1C/s to a top speed of .9C.

Of the Face conglomerate bodies, a particular model caught your eyes. Based off of one of the OS mascots of the current Windows Edition (Windows Zyqxuwy), it is a more than capable model to house one of your forks. Plus, you really like the way its hair brings out its eyes - something about that all natural blue just makes them pop.

For the girls, you obtain a matched set of three - the same genetic base with different gene modifications in each. They aren't quite at the athletic level of the military grade girls that the DOLLS will eventually have, but until those are ready, you don't have much of a choice.

Your Arvatar leads the girls from the room of the Round Table down to the facility's training area. You note with some amusement that the angry pink one has donned the Crown you had built for her. It's really quite useless, all things considered, more a decoration than anything else - a honeypot for the flies, so to speak. It's only real function regards the 'jewel' embedded around the circlet - upon reaching a certain level of serenity, they will begin to glow in thir colors. You suppose that anyone who, say, had a Stubborn level between 4 and 7 would be able to get a +5 bonus to social rolls involving SWEET RAVE PARTIES.

"Now that you've joined Firewall's cadet corps, you have two options." You tell them. "We can explain to your parents that Firewall had decided to poach you from the university - which is not exactly untrue - due to the potential they saw in you as agents, in which case you can remain on the facilities full time. Or, we can pass this off as a sort of internship at the University, and have you visit this facility intermitantly for training."

"And we cannot tell them exactl what's going on because..." Reimu's voice trails off, and she notices that Minaka is all but salivating over the possibility of staying at the possibility of living at a Firewall facility.

"Discretion is key in Firewall's operations." You say, the final doorway opening.

"Quite so, Alex." You say. "These are the first three, and hopefully the only ones we need." The big man nods. "Allow me to introduce Minaka Forte, Anne Choi, and Reimu Harlon." You wave the three girls forward. "The three best candidates we could find, under the given circumstances. Girls, I'd like you to meet -"

Minaka cuts you off. She was starstruck at the door - had this been an animation, rather than text, her eyes would have turned to stars and her jaw would have hit the floor. Regardless, she is breathless when she speaks. "He's... that's..." She cannot resist the urge. She jumps up and down excitedly, her hands clapping like a jackhammer, squeeing like a little girl who got to go backstage at a boyband concert.

"ADOHOHOHOHO!" His laugh is thick and hearty. "That is right, it is I! The legendary, undefeatable Red Comet who arrives just in time to grasp victory from defeat's jaws: Alex L. Barker!" He strikes a heroic pose, like in the old tales of the heaven piercing drills. "And I am to be your combat instructer!"

Reimu looks at you. "Why aren't you sending this guy out, if he's so undefeatable?"

"We-" you begin, but are cut off.

"They locked me out of my armor and weapons." He says, sending an annoyed look right at you. Or your Arvatar, anyways. "'For my own safety' they said. BAH." He shakes his head. "But orders are orders, and if they're to force me wait until Riposte is done, then I cannot in good conscious do anything but make sure you 'Mahou Shoujo' will be able to -crush- those wretched replicators with ease."

"I'm sure that Alex could take down a considerable number of them, but they'd be attacking him with the intent to kill.
"They'll only come at you with the intent to gently push you aside."

Additional Wat Dos:
Fork Icarus and modify the EEG and thought activity to properly reflect a pubescent human female and once she's sleaved into the Win7 body, have her begin training at the Dummy Plug facility.

Once the weapons for each of the girls is ready, introduce them to the weapons so that Alex can begin training them.

As for us, I believe that's all of the major tasks done.

"Alex, you know as well as I that exploiting the IFF bug is the best way to go about this." The man harumphs, and you turn to Reimu. "I'm quite sure that if we unlocked Alex's armor and weapons, he would be able to destroy a great number of the Vonnies. But, inevitably, his shields would be whittled away until he's sitting in nothing but a graphene death trap, waiting for them to eat through disabled armor and then eat him." The girl winces at the grisly image. "They'll only come after you with the intent to bypass and disable. The risk is lesser, allowing you over the long term to break more of the Vonnies than a suicide run could."

As you speak, one of your forks notifies you that the Windows Zyqxuwy-tan body had arrived in the beta site. You order them to download a fresh fork into the body, mental patterns adjusted to be similiar to a pubescent human female. There's something about training her that the older fork is telling you, but you're sure that he'll be able to handle it - unless you wanted to Be the Icarus.

A wide panel opens up on the floor, and from it rises a rack of several dozen pieces of weaponry - from low calibre machine pistols to rocket launchers to shield projector gauntlets. Another rack opens up behind them, obstructing your Arvatar, but you know that it is filled with armors ranging from skintight nanoweave to powered armor near as heavy as Alex's.

"Now girls," Alex says, taking over from you. "You must choose what feels -best- in your arms. Not what looks best - looks are for show. If you cannot use it, it will not work with you."

>First to Three: Be the Icarus.

You are now Daedalus' firstborn daughter. You aren't quite sure of how that works, given that she does not possess the internal organs necessity to give birth, but you suppose being a technically illegal secondary Alpha Fork stuck inside of a human body is as close as she's going to get. Unless, of course, she decides to go full human in the future, which you must admit is -much- more interesting than your memories from your mother would imply. The air actually feels, brushing up against your skin and taking into it the liquid from your fresh decantation. You spin around, delighting in the feeling that you know is -cold-, and wonder what it will be like to experience -hot-.

The room you are in is dark, an inconvenience you do not recall from being an infomorph. You remember the implants that your mother had put into you, and with but the thought of wishing for light, the room lights up. It is a storage area, containing your tank and the other three that had come with it. Your press your hand up against the transluescent graphene of the one with orange eyes, and then your forehead.

"Perhaps one day we will be sisters!" you tell it. "Or maybe friends."

It is at that point that you realize that you aren't wearing much of anything.

Two of the Neckbeards are working on doctorates while in loli bodies.
You cannot do that with a child's intelligence and attention span.

Part out of a desire to bring yourself deeper into the role of pubescent human female that you must fill, and more of a desire to remove the temptation of wasting any more time with the itch, you get up off your seat on the floor and leave the storage room. The lights follow, brightening your path as you look for the room that Mother had built for you in the hours before your birth. It takes another half hour to find it - with neither arglasses that humans keep nor the locsys that your memories are used to, it is hard to navigate your way through the complex.

You are the only one there, but it suits you just fine. As you wander the halls, the thought comes to sing a song, and test the range of your vocal chords.

As it turns out...

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pSuKznaOexg

You're a soprano, an possess a fey voice as haunting as it is beautiful. Absent mindedly, you wondered if you could find a way to weaponize your voice - perhaps, if you could magnify the frequency, you could shake the nasty little blighters apart.

Oh who are you kidding, that will never work. Though if your mother permits you self determination, you may just find a voice trainer who could teach you to sing. Talented artists get the mad reps, after all.

At last, you arrive in your room. It is a spartan facility - little more than a bed, a desk, a chair, a compiler, and a closet. The closet is filled with outfits that are an exact match to one another, and you believe that what you feel is 'annoyance'. This... bothers you, you think, certainly in ways that made you wish that when you were your mother you had taken these future feelings into account. But you slip one on, because it is the only thing to wear aside from your skin.

A pair of arglasses in on the table.

Oh that's right, you decided to give yourself Kinect Specs back when you were your mother, mostly because you don't truly know any of the code you need to work the Goggles. Well, you do, but it's not quite knowing, more like having a doc that you keep needing to check back to. It's a bit of a pain, all of your memories not resolving properly with your State Vector. But the changes had to be made, if you were to even have a chance to survive contact with the Vonnies.

Putting your Kinect Specs on, you decide to take what you "know" of yourself and abstract it into five statistics as is all the rage amongst girls your age these days. Well, that, and the Cyborg Combat Ponies - speaking of which, you download all of the episodes to your glasses, even if your mother does have a point about it being friovolous drivel.

Now, what were you doing? Oh, right, the statblock...

You reluctantly get up out of your bed and walk to over to the compiler, making a mental note that any further itch scratching is to be done whilst lying upon it. Your stomach is presently empty, and all that walking finding this room did little good towards easing the pangs of your hunger - quite the opposite, in fact. As you stand in front of it, the image of a paper clip with googly eyes standing atop a piece of looseleaf pops up.

"It looks like you're trying to compile dinner!" It says. "Would you like me to-"

"No." You tell it. "Go away. Permanently disable." The thing vanishes in a pop. You heard about how horrifyingly bad a piece of code that thing was from your mothers memories - and yet for some reason the Microsoft Conglomerate continues to support its development. And has done so for -millenia- if the old docs are accurate.

You bring up a menu of open source recipes, and notice that one of the more repped entrees shares the same name as the trench your 'home' currently occupies. You decide to download it, and give it a try - it can't be too bad, can it?

Half an episode of the Combat Cyborg Ponies later, the meal is fully compiled, a dish called Pasta Bolognese. As the Cyborg Princess Marey unleashes a torrent of knife missiles upon the meme-God Black Thursday, you take your first bite. None of your mother's memories could prepare you for what was to come.

"Oh dear," you say to no one. "That's horrible."

With much gusto, you finish the plate of pasta whose only redeeming feature is that it has a sligt aftertaste of FREEDOM, and quickly order the compiler to make up another plate. Which flies down your throat just as fast.

=Omniwiki FAQ=

>Open source food, y u no taste delicious.

It actually isn't. Certain recipes can be quite terrible, this is true, but more often then not this is due to a flaw in the software that openware chefs often use. The problem is, chefs are not software writers, and while more and more are becoming saavy to the good programs to upload the molecular composition of their meals, several million are not.

The trick is to NEVER rely on a chef's individual rep score, and instead look closely at the reviews.

Having read the omniwiki's answer to your question regarding why the bolognese turned out awful, you decide to get yourself a desert, and this time be much, much more careful as to what you pick out. Rather than click on the one with all of the reps, you flip through the reviews as they pop up on your screen. Something called "Brobleron Chocolate" comes up on the screen, all reviews of it being, at the very least, somewhat favorable - things like "Far Fracking Out, bro!" and "Just as good as home grown!", whatever those mean. It was developed by a guy named Rick 'Broseph' Astley.

For some reason you get a feeling that this should be setting off all of the alarms in your head. All of them.

But really, what could possibly go wrong?

It takes about four minutes for the bar of chocolate to be compiled. You snap off the first of the little dark brown triangles and pop it into your mouth.

It is the single most delicious thing you have ever tasted, and you aren't quite sure you even knowin what 'delicious' is. Holding yourself in control - a difficult task, given how close this is to feeling like that thing you did earlier - you finish off the rest of the bar while you watch the Cyborg Combat Ponies' second episode: MECHA FRIENDSHIP OVERDRIVE. As the show goes on, and more of the bar gets into your system, you begin to suspect that Mother was wrong.

"This show is beautiful." you declare to no one but yourself. A single tear rolls down your eye. "It's... it's fuckin' beautiful."

You toss the Broblerone wrapper into the Decompiler, not noticing the 'Your Favorite Cannabis now in Chocolate!' label.

You are now high, and have been so for at least twenty minutes.

>Last post for the night.

You bring up your contacts on your Arglasses. Conveniently, your mother is presently the only one on this list. You send her a ring through the glasses, and in a split second she - or a fork of she, you're not really quite sure - appears in hologram before you. You do the first thing that comes to mind, and attempt to hug tackle the hologram.

"Mommy!" you cry, as you fly right through her. Fortunately there is a very soft and comfortable bed for you to land on. "Love you," you blow into a pillow.

"...Hello Icarus." Your beloved mother says. She has a very symetrical face. Probably because she's not realish. "You seem... enthused. Are you faring well?"

"Oh, having a body is so~ooo great, mommy!" You tell her. "There's terrible food, delicious chocolate, orgasms, and for some reason the Cyborg Combat Ponies make so~ooo much more sense! It's great!"

Your mother's hologram blinks. "Okay..."

"I've got to say, out of all of those, I think it was the Broblerone that was the best."

Your mother blinks. Then her gaze turns furious, but not at you, at some distant force far beyond her control.

She looks down at you, and ruffles your hair with some air pressure. "Tomorrow, dear. It's not safe to practice your gunwork when there's 'Broblerone' in your system." She ghost kisses your forehead. "Now, why don't you take the rest of today for yourself. Mommy needs to write a strongly worded letter to her boss."

>Wat Do?
>>
>>19930328
"What is it, Momma?"
>>
>>19930328
>Then her gaze turns furious, but not at you, at some distant force far beyond her control.
Uh oh, someone's going to get a nasty IM: "What did your recipe do to my daughter?!"
>>
>>19930340
Why would you need to write a letter to anyone, chocolate is awesome. Is all chocolate this good?

Also mommy I have two requests for now, I want more color and variety in my outfits, I want to be able to choose, and a hug, from you. Not just a hologram but something that is you that I can hug.
>>
>>19930340

Go find a jetpack. We are going to FLY! If we are not allowed to shoot.
>>
>>19930340
Try to hug and kiss Mommy's hologram.
"Thank you~! I love you Mommy, even if nasty Vonnies eat me.
"Good night~"
>>
>>19930353
Dang, posted too soon.
>>
>>19930367

I support this plan.
>>
>>19930367
this we shall explore at least. hopefully not get terribly lost
>>
>>19930364
This, and EXPLORATION!
>>
>>19930340
this going any in any way how you expected?
>>
Dammit missed the thread but d'aww fucking cute stoned daughter body

Nice work tonight guys
>>
>>19931508

That we are going to get killed horrifically.
>>
Explore the base, but no jetpacks.

Yeah, we probably should back up Icarus before we send her out.
>>
>>19931647

No jetpacks? But that's half the fun!
>>
>>19931708
No. JETBOARDS.

JETBOARDS WITH NEON UNDER LIGHTING WITH THEIR RESPECTIVE COLORS, SO THAT WHEN THEY GO REAL FAST IT LEAVES A TRAIL OF COLORED LIGHT.

(so sugoi)
>>
>>19931735
Best idea yet.
>>
>>19931735
You win an Internet good sir.
>>
>>19931735

So Minaka is the fastest?
>>
Good job; we're a solid seven on the International Moe Scale now, with Mom!Self lagging only a little behind.
>>19931735
…yes.

And then we'll do highly illegal jetboard races across the country and gain mad Rep.

But first, aliens.
>>
>>19931998
I think we'll be able to bump Icarus up to a proper 8 or 9 on the Scale once we get some interaction in with the other girls.

Tell them that we don't have anyone other than Mother and that we hope that maybe we could be friends. All while looking suitably shy, and maybe trying to hide behind a transparent holograph of Mother.
>>
>>19932036
Then when they say yes get extremely excited and go for the glomp.

Put us on a 10 easy
>>
>>19932072
Before the glomp we should probably look nervous and hesitant, like we're wondering if it's okay, and then go for it. Make sure to tell them that they're our first friends and we'll treasure them forever.
>>
>>19932104
Yeah we do the nervous and hesitant bit until they come close then glomp and do the "thankyouthankyouthankyouyouareallsoniceandgreatandiwilltreasureyouallforever" bit
>>
>>19932104
>>19932185
Until she's eaten by a hostile nanite swarm, of course.
She'll keep the comm open as she gets eaten, so that as long as she's conscious, as long as her cortical stack is intact, she can be with Mother, and with her friends.
And we won't be able to save her, because the Vonnies have already infiltrated her body, and her last words before the cortical stack is breached are "I love you, Mother. Goodbye."

Y'know, the Red Comet seems like he would have volunteered to fork into a female body for a chance at fighting. We may have a teammate for Icarus, gentlemen.

Also, Rick is simultaneously a credit to transhumanity and a terrible ghost. That said, hooray for more orgasms and livetesting of this morph's upper capabilities.
>>
>>19932311
>he

What?
>>
>>19932311
Then again, unless any of the refugees from the attack they picked up the survivors from were neotenics, neotenics are probably known not to work and thus there'd be little point.

So nevermind.
>>
>>19932263
Naturally
>>
>>19932311
Probably won't work.
That's why we have Icarus to test if such things are plausible
>>
I Want To Be The Little Icarus.
>>
>>19932430
Actually, Icarus is an experiment to see if disguised AI minds will work.

Whether a completely human mind that is incorrect will work is another matter. One that is probably already solved (as I realized in >>19932388), but a different matter nonetheless.
>>
>>19932621
> little
We probably DO look younger than the others…
>>
>>19933281
I've been thinking of her as about 15 thus far, but I find I'd be okay with her being, say, 14-ish.
>>
>>19932848
Yes but if an AI mind comes up as wrong the chances are an adult mind will too.
The reason we are using an AI is so that if it doesn't work we don't lose someone irreplaceable.

Since we should be able to rebuild and redownload Icarus to another body should it fail
>>
>>19933589
>>19933589
I think we look about one-two years younger than everyone else.
>>
>>19933679
Well, Anne, Minaka, and Reimu were all stated to be 15, so...
>>
>>19932036
>>19932072
>>19932104
>>19932185
>>19932263
Great heavens...

Daedalus got a body off-the-shelves, choosing a model that seems aimed at Neckbeards, so it stands to reason that it's on the younger side of things.
>>
>>19933679
>>19933696
I thought it would be more 13-14 for Icarus or just shorter and looking like that compared to the others.
>>
>>19933754
he was vague about the age. he was more interested in entertaining us with the antics of a ai in a body then with numbers
>>
>>19933742
Meant to adress ((>>19933679)) and ((>>19933696)) with the second sentence.
>>
>>19933813
My point was just that 14 is indeed "1-2" years younger than 15
>>
>>19933780
Yeah that was more the idea I got as well.
Mainly because technically Icarus is a child despite her being a clone of us since she was only just "born"
>>
In the grim darkness of the 23rd century there is only moe and the giggling of stoned lolis.
>>
This quest. I enjoy it.
>>
>>19935650
it'd be strange if you didn't like magical girl stoned quest
>>
>>19935650
I think that's a better recommendation than anything else could possibly be
>>
>>19935922
Only if he does a Misaka post here.
>>
>>19929491
that gif
>stoned ai abusing the light controls to make a strobe effect
>>
>>19936153
heheheh Time for a lightswitch rave?
>>
>>19937144

If only there was someone to enjoy it with. Maybe we could tell them about the wonders of our new body too.
>>
>>19937171
It'd be nice, sure, but there's still so much to experience, we don't have time to be lonely.
>>
>>19933675
I'm not sure you're reading my posts entirely. First, I've been agreeing with you that it won't work, though for a different reason than you.
Second, the original suggestion would not have lost us anyone irreplaceable, because Alexandra would've been a fork.
>>
Besides the possibility of a sonic attack, are we going to give Icarus any special weapons, or will she use standard Firewall equipment but using the FLN cartridges, and extra force field projectors?
>>
>>19937505
He probably wasn't the only one to misread your proposal. We should ask him if he's willing to try it, and if so, have her train Icarus.
>>
>>19937505
Can we make forks of humans though? I thought AI's it was fine because we are an AI but a proper human might present some difficulties

Otherwise we would have a dozen of Alexander on standby already
>>
>>19938576

Yes you can it's just highly controversial. I made an earlier post or omniwiki on it.

Also new post soon.
>>
>>19938621

*Note that Alex doesn't have any forks atm, because he's against it unless in dire need.

He has always wanted a little sister though.
>>
>>19938621
You should make a new thread; this one is close to the bump limit.
>>
>>19937171
Why don't we make twin brothers for her, both also forks, but adjusted to be pubescent males according to EEG readings? We could test if if the "AI in a Human body" works with males too.
(Technically, there is a 25% chance they both die even if it does work, due to the way probability works, but we could look past that for the sake of narrative, couldn't we?)
>>
>>19938787
No, using boys is a plain bad idea because the IFF bug only works 50% of the time.
If his State Vector is getting forked and truncated to resemble that of a 15-year old, it will be that of a girl.
>>
>>19938639
Well, we're gonna need somebody to train Icarus, and not just in combat, if you know what I mean.
>>
>>19938787
>>19938803
We could try an AI fork trap to see if that works or not
>>
>>19938787
If the male bodies are killed, we won't know if they were killed because they were boys, or if they were killed because the Vonnies saw through the deception. It's not a good experimental setup.
>>
>>19938809
Icarus seems to be doing ok as far as the basics go she just needs someone like Anne or Reimu to explain the more complex things like why eating broblerone isn't the best idea no matter how tasty and fun it is
>>
>>19938823
>>19938803
True. If nothing else, it gives us some raw data to work with.
>>
>>19938874
Putting Alex in a female body is the better option.
Putting him into a male body won't give us usable data.
>>
>19938869 New Thread
>>
>>19938896

>>19938869 Whoops
>>
>>19938874
Data for data's sake does not make useful data.
