You are Alex Murphy, a 250 year old robot who can think, and the voice of your creator is inside your head.

Last episode, we discovered Willie's powers, mercykilled a wormhost, found where the worms are coming from, and met a robosexual mechanic who is putting us under their wing. Oh, and we got a home base too.

You go out with Willie onto the street, bringing out a foldable table for him. He sits on a laundry bag full of clothing and waits for people to come up.

You watch him do his thing. It's almost a work of art, seeing him shuffle the cups around. Every so often you see his eyes bug out for a moment, you assume him using the Phantasm to better predict which cup someone's looking at.

You watch in awe as person after person deposits their bets and attempts to win, and not a single person does after 30 minutes. The bag of loot grows larger and larger.

You already know that Willie spent the most of the night getting the place organized and getting the blood out of things. You go back to the base to see Willie there, feeding Rex a raw steak. You also see there's a raggedy looking but also soft looking doggie bed for Rex. The place also looks somewhat more furnished, with a table with two chairs and a chess set on it, a bookshelf full of books and also various board games, and a somewhat old couch against the wall. "Nice haul," you say to Willie, and he nods to you. "Ready to go worm hunting?" You say as you flex your gauntlet.

Okay first we survey the building from the outside, get a grasp on entrances and exits. If possible block off exits so that the host can't easily escape to the sewers, because I'm not touching that place with a 10 foot pole.

There aren't really any obstacles you can set up in there way, but you get two tables from the floor and set up a makeshift barricade.

There's about another 5 minutes before the enforcers arrive, and the activity upstairs is getting noisier.

Excellent, bring it to the stairs, make a small hole in it so the gas leaks out, leave a trail of gas from the bottom leading up to a good point on the stairs no so high up that we'll aggro the worms. We'll set it off when they start coming so they have to charge through a pile of fire and the ones in the front get blown up by the exploding canister.

You set up the gasoline tank on the stairwell, briefly explain the situation, and tell them to cover their ears.

You activate the feedback again, and twice for good measure. You hear the noise upstairs stop as the figures stop moving, and then, they begin moving down.

You had nothing to worry about. They are 100% wormhosts.

>>

>>20037472
"OPEN FIRE!" You yell as you duck down so the Enforcers have room to shoot. You hit the canister first, making a big explosion that tears a chunk out of the upstairs floor and stairs. Also it seems the house is now on fire. The wormhosts begin rushing down, ignoring the fire, leaping at you.

You watch Willie as his eyes bug out and his skin turns pallid. He stands up, ignoring a bullet that grazes him, and runs into the tangled mass of bodies. It's absolute chaos, Willie in some sort of trance as he just beats the shit out of things and you just keep firing, trying not to hit him in the mass. Fortunately, you're good at aiming and the Enforcers are as well.

Within short order, the ball of violence stops moving. Willie gets up, raises his hands above his head, yells "Whooooo!" And promptly collapses.

It's just a shifting ball of biomass. It's too differentiated for you to find any weak point before it changes.

However, you do know the weak points to the house. Several pillars of wood that hold the house up from collapsing in on itself.
