>PREVIOUS THREADS: http://suptg.thisisnotatrueending.com/archive.html?tags=Summoned%20Hero%20Quest

LAST TIME on Summoned Hero Quest, you ventured out and got the training done. And then you talked with Cadencia for all of two SECONDS and went on MORE ADVENTURES! You're now in the Underworld, the Run Down Village with your faithful fox-demon-beastkin sidekick!

---------------------

The air was dry, the sky was cloudy and hopes were dashed. The people of this village sit in the darkness, broken and with no vision for the future. They just exist, plain and simple. That's all they can do. No purpose. Nothing. Sad, but that's how it was. Just thinking about it angers you. You were pissed when you thought your freedom was stripped from you, but that was different. What is it with these people? What's wrong with them?

"You honeslty think these people are worth something?" Brunstault takes the initiative and speaks up first. You nod, eyes falling on the ground as you walk. There were puddles every few steps. There was no grass, not even in the yards of the the buildings nearby. Just dead. Everything was dead. "Why is that. Please, tell me." Brunstault smiles.

"Because I don't think they want this."

"That's not justification, you know, that's just selfishness. What if they want to stay here, hmm? Did you consider that?"

"I have... but I won't know anything until I go and ask them, won't I?"

"But a couple of minutes ago you just said you wanted to save them without their consent! Tsk tsk tsk." Brunstault's tail wags, her fangs show with her smile. Her brow furrows and she laughs at you.

>"I just know they want saved, okay?"
>"What would you have me do, abandon them?"
>What to do?

Ah, egoism and hypocrisy. We're really bad at this whole 'give people the freedom to choose' thing, aren't we?
>>
>>20289159

"well, you're right. Ok, here is what i am going to do. I'll walk into one of those brothel's and ask if they want to be saved. How does that sound?"
>>
Two questions:
What kind of setting is this quest?
What kind of character is the MC?

Just asking so I don't have to backlog before playing.
>>
>>20289225
Let's not say that. She's already pointing out the hypocrisy of our actions to do, so let's just ignore her and figure out the situation in the place first and see if the women do need saving.
>>
>>20289290
>setting
Some combination of sci-fi and fantasy. People use magic and live on floating islands, but the Lunarians have hovertanks, spaceships, and a self-sustaining colony on the moon.
>MC
MC is...kind of all over the place.
The first two sessions we were a complete asshole and an emotional little bitch, because we thought we had been taken from our world without our consent in order to be a tool in this one.
However, through our research, we found out that only people who are in imminent danger of death and who wish to escape their fate, are pulled through by the Summoning Ritual. So, we insulted and yelled at the person who saved us, Candencia, who is our Summoner. Oh, and punched her in the face. We excused our actions as Dimensional Crossover Psychosis, mostly as a way to explain our scrambled memories.
Then, just as we were starting to get over our social awkardness, last session it came back in full force, we went gallivanting off to explore some Lunarian ruins on the surface of the planet and left Candencia behind even though she wanted to come along, and pretty much acted like someone who's not only socially inept but also fairly stupid (since we didn't even bother to get money before coming down here).
>>
>>20289290
1.Fantasy world with magic, MC is a amnesiac hero summoned to defend the floating island our summoner lives on.
2.Asshole.

"And what, do nothing? I know it's not well thought-out, but I have to at least try. Do you want me to just abandon them without even trying to find out if they want this or not?" as you speak, the sky becomes illuminate with white light. It begins to thunder, and rain soon follows. It's as if it's setting the mood.

"You're still a hypocrite, and that's what I find interesting." the fox Beastkin grins. She takes pleasure in your stupidity, it seems, and so much more. "I could also care less about the people in this village. I showed you what I thought about it when I devoured that means entire body." she licks her lips proudly.

"Tch. " you throw out any thoughts about talking or coming to an agreement with Brunstault. You have one thing on your mind, and that's freeing these villagers. You walk forward, through the street and open up various doors to see who's inside. The first one was empty, the second one as as well. Then, the third one. There's a woman in the corner, covering up with a raggedy blanket and she's chained... to a metal bar sticking out of the ground. It makes an L-shape with the taller end in the ground and the shorter one against the wall.

>"Are you alright? Do you want freed?"
>"Brunstault, dinner."
>Say nothing and look around

Also what's her condition like beyond being chained? Does it look like she's not really being cared for?
>>
>>20289334
Dont listen to him, all we did made sense in context. The main character might be a bit of a dick but its nowhere as bad as he says it is.

>>20289363
"Do you want to be here? If I break that chain there, would you leave? Do you have any place you can go?"
>>
>>20289334
Sounds like narcissism, agression issues, and a hero complex.
Was there a lot of arguing in past threads?
>>
>>20289387
How did that stuff make sense in context? We had no reason to assume the worst of Candencia when we first met her but she was chewed out and treated like shit. We freaking threatened her for no reason. It is as bad as it sounds.
>>
>>20289410
>Was there a lot of arguing in past threads?
In the first thread, yes. Between those that wanted to assume the worst of Candencia, those that wanted to get more information before making a judgement, and those that just wanted to go off and do our own thing.

Honestly, I can only suggest you read the previous threads, they're not too long. Then you can decide if >>20289387 is right or not.

"Are you alright? Do you want to be freed?" you bend down, extending a helpful hand to the girl. You examine her condition further beyond the rags. It's torn, up and down her legs. Her shoulders have scabs on them. You pull the cloth away from her elgs, but she fidgets in response. Bruises, cuts, there isn't a place where she isn't beaten up. Anger rises, but you keep it under control as best as you can.

"N-no." the small, blonde girl with tarnished blue ribbons speaks up. "N-no, I'm fine. If I don't want to go. Thank you for the offer." she tries to force a smile. She was obviously lying. You want to free her, but what if she doesn't want that? Forcing your thoughts on the situation-

"So what will you do, Hero?" Brunstault walks in, her presence entire unwelcomed.

>"I'll save her."
>"She said she doesn't want to go, so I might as well check for others."
>Stay silent

>>
>>20289411
Your "Last thread we went full retard again" comment is completely exaggerated. We left her behind because we did not want to drag her and her husband (we or at least i assumed that they were married at that time) to some dubious dungeondive. Other than that the most dickish thing we did was strike our master, but that was at the beginning of the thread were noone of the regulars was back.

In the first thread the... atmosphere was heated, and there was this paranoid tripfriend that was always pushing for more MANIPULATION. It came out as a bit juvenile.
>>
>>20289461
I didn't type up that summary actually and I wasn't talking about the last thread part so I'll give that to you. MC didn't go back to first thread levels of retard but I still felt it was kind of lame how we ditched Candencia completely.

Read the old threads. you'll spend less time than asking or figuring it out, and you'll catch up with us in twenty minutes or so if you're a slow reader...

"Why don't you want to leave? You don't have to be afraid. We've dealt with one of the people here. I can get you and the others out of here." you start to talk, hoping that the smaller girl understand. She merely stays silent, her eyes meeting Brunstault's. The fox grins and licks her lips. She walks on over, sits down on what one would call a 'stool'. It's damaged, one of the legs is shortened. Brunstault gets comfortable, leans forward and places her chin in her palms.

"May I?" she licks her lips again. The girl cowers in fear. She can probably see the blood on Brunstault's cheeks.

"Dammit, Brunstault." you shake your head from side to side. You were losing patience. The smaller girl grabs onto your sleeve.

"I do want to go home. I want to see my family again but they'll beat me again if I try and leave... I don't want that."

>"Don't worry, I'm here to protect you."

Don't release her yet though. Find out from her how many other people are here that are in charge as well as where the other girls may be. Let's take care of anyone else in our way first before leaving. Otherwise these girls just become potential hostages.

"Don't worry, I'm here to protect you. I'll get you out. Now, can you tell me if there are others?" this information was crucial. Without a doubt, there 'were' others but you had to know where.

"Others? O-oh. Those men..I don't know where they hide, but the other girls are in that big building in the center of t-town." she stutters as she speaks. The girl shakes, clenching the rags around her body closer so she can keep warm. You take off your cape and place it around the young girl's shoulders. She stops shivering for a moment and meets your gaze. "T-thank you."

"No problem." you stand up from the ground and look to Brunstault. "You eat her, I cut off your ears."

"Oh ho, threats." Brunstault grins as she sits up from the table. The stool falls to the ground with a thud. The small fox girl shakes her head from side to side, looking out the door into the wet street. "So what now?"

>"We go in guns-a-blazing for justice."
>"We take it slow. Let's take this girl with us so she stays safe."

"I'll go. Brunstalt, could you make me some gold, so I can look like a customer? That should get me in, and could you stay here to protect this girl? Please?" you were almost pleading in your efforts to get Brunstault to do it. The fox closes her eyes, taps her foot and wags her tail.

"Very well." she places her hand int your own and, out of nowhere, gold appears. There are at least twenty pieces! You really have no clue how much that can buy here, but it'll have to do.

"You better not eat her." you narrow your eyes at Brunstault who just chuckles.

"Don't mind me, now go along and play Hero, Anon. I'll keep her company." without looking back, you walk forward, making your way towards the center of town.

...

There are no guards at the main building. You just walk in, open the door and enter the brothel. There are young girls dancing, some others stroking 'junk' in different rooms with the doors open, as you could see. What kind of place was this?

You walk forward through the establishment, looking for the one who's in charge. However, he wasn't hard to find. There were guards nearby. Some thin, some large and muscular. one stood out, however. A guy about as tall as you. Black hair, hazel eyes and a derby hat. You ignore him and move forward. The man in charge. He had rings on each finger, a mullet and a monocle. Way to look stereotypical, you thought. "I'm looking for something special! Hope you got what I'm looking for."

"Eh? Ahahaha! How much we talking?"

"I've got 20 gold pieces." at that, the man's eyes widen. Or rather, the 'Boss's eyes widened.

"20? Excellent, excellent! What are you looking for 'used', 'mint'?" the guy just laughs at his analogies. You want to bisect him, but that was out of the question.

You stare at the 'Boss' for a second. Your eyes go to your gold, then back to the Boss. "Let's see what you got that's in mint condition, eh?" you put a sly grin on your face. The man in front of you claps. One of the guards walks forward, opens up a door and leads you into another room. It's a hallway, dimly lit with lanterns along the walls. There are eight open doors on each side with lanterns in between the spaces that connect each door.

"Feel free to look around and test them out." the man says as he closes the door. Wow, these people were truly something else.

"Keep your head on straight." you take in a deep breath.

You walk along the first door. The first one, the girl was sleeping. The second on, it was a tan girl with brown hair. She was staring at the floor, in a daze. Third one was asleep, but her legs and arms were a strange red color. She was obviously beaten. "Ghk.."

There wasn't anything there. There are other doors that you haven't checked. You move forward, checking the remaining five doors on the left side. The fourth one, there was a sleeping black-haired girl. The fifth one was a dog Beastkin with red eyes. She was leaning against the wall, probably contemplating something. The sixth, seventh and eigth are nothing special, just sleeping girls with different hair colors.

You check the other side, and there was nothing to note either.

You stand there as you contemplate your decision...

Alright, the Beastkin was the first to come to mind. If she was anying like Brunstealt... no, you don't even want to think about that. "Umm.. what are you watching?" you walk into the room, kneeling down to get a closer look at whatever she's looking at.

"Nothing. The wall. So, what the fuck are we going to do? See, I used the word 'fuck' like a pun or something." the Beastkin simply states as she walks forward, turns around, and plops down on the bed. She lifts her legs up, pulls her tail back and prepares for the worst.

"No, no." you walk over to the door and close it. There were no windows in the room, so that was fortunate. "I'm not here to screw you, alright? I'm here to free you."

"You're playing hero, a kid like you?" funny since the Beastkin talking doesn't look a day over eighteen. "Get the fuck out." did this world hate you that much? "I'm sick of false hope, just get the fuck out or I'll scream."

Blue energy builds up in your hands, forming the assault rifle. "You don't give me enough credit. THough I can't blame you; I'm a little short for a stormtrooper and all." you say with a grin. However, the Beastkin is thoroughly unamused by it. She sighs, closes her legs and sits on the bed without much of a second thought.

"Doesn't matter what kind of weapon you have. That guy, Clive, will kill you. He's a Guardian too." that was completely unexpected.

"Wait. Another Guardian? Wait..." you think back to the guy wearing the derby hat. "Uh... Cadencia told me that-"

"I don't know who Cadencia is, but you're screwed if you think we're getting out of here alive. Well, you. Stop playing hero, buy me, and let's go."

"Alright, fine, let's go." the Beastkin gets up off the bed, walks forward and holds your hand. "Let's get going. Oh, what are you going to name me?"

"Uh..." you think for a moment, but you just walk forward, open the door and exit into the hallway. That could wait! You could name her later. Wait, why did you have to name her? After a few moments of walking, you're back out in the main room.

"That will be twelve gold pieces! She is a Beastkin, after all, a RARE breed down here in the Underworld!" the 'Boss' grins happily.

"Here." you throw him the twelve pieces of Gold and turn around to walk out.

No interruptions, good. You exit the buidling and return to Brunstealt.

"You seem happy." Burnstealt looks at the dog girl and laughs to herself. "Oh boy, you know how to pick them, Hero!"

"Who's the bitch?" says the nameless dog girl.

"You." replies the fox.

"Please, shut up. Alright, tell me about Clive." you were talking to the girl you just 'bought'. Burnt Salt was about to speak but you place a hand over her mouth.

"Clive, he's a strange one. He never talks to any of us.. well the other girls. He's always formal, polite. He never drinks, antagonizes others... it's weird. He also has a weird magic ... uh.. wand? I have no clue. He holds it like this." the girl makes a motion with her hand as if she's holding a gun. "OH, it's like your thing!" she was meaning your assault rifle.

"This guy is from... dammit." you fall back into your chair, trying to regather your thoughts.

>"Alright, Brunstealt, we're going in there guns ablazing!"
>"Let's take this slow..."
>What to do?
>>
>>20290840
Great. He's got a gun too, eh? We need to take this carefully then. He's obviously the main threat. Might be best if we go in and cause a ruckus with the guards but don't make it obvious we're guardian level. Then when Clive appears, we go all out at him.

Also, tell the girl we're not naming her since we don't own her. She can keep her old name.
>>
>>20290840
We need to tak this slow.
We are not going to take on someone who could be an old crime boss.
Do we have any new toys other than the gauntlets, zweihander, and rifle? Can we get any new toys to match them?
>>
>>20290840
"Alright, Brunstealt, we're going in there guns ablazing! if you can do something else apart shitting money and eating scared people, this is the right time to tell me."
>>
>>20290840
Quick, sketch a picture in the ground of a revolver and a pistol.
"Which one of these does Clive use? They're both bad, but the second is worse. And are there any mages among the guards?"

"Brunstault, you feel like killing some people? Better yet, what can you do besides make people explode and produce gold from nowhere?"
"Christ, I'm starting to sound like I've played too many shooters."

Let's come up with a plan first, then go.

"Alright then." you grab the unknown girl's hand, walk on out into the mud and bend down. "Tell me which one of these Clive uses." you use your finger to draw a revolver and then a pistol. "They're both bad, but the second is worse. And are there any mages among the guards?"
"I don't think he uses either of those. He.. um..." she edits your revolver drawing into a .44 Magnum (?).
"Great, great... anyway, about those mages."
"I don't think so. They just use daggers and stuff." you sigh in relief. Things got a little less complicated.
"Oh, is Clive's Summoner around?"
"Nope." the Beastkin states plainly.
"Brunstealt, you feel like killing some people? Better yet, what can you do besides make people explode and produce gold from nowhere?"

"I thought you'd NEVER ask!" Brunstealt's fangs expand, her nails turn into claws and her tail expands downward. "I can kill, don't worry! I could probably even beat YOU in a fight!"

"Don't bet on it... and christ, I'm starting to sound like I've played too many shooters."

The problem I have with this is that it puts us inside the building where a pistol will be better than an assault rifle. We have an AK, not an AUG.

"Alright, Brunstealt, what can you do exactly? Specifics please." you just thought she was quick, she can claw the opponent and stuff. That's it.

"I can move faster than you, I'm stronger than you, and I can tear you in two. Does that give you an idea?" wow this girl was something. "I'm also one of a kind." She states with a smile. "Rare, and cute as well! You better be glad I'm helping you, Hero."

"I-I am, I am." you nod to reassure her. "Alright, I guess that's it then. You can take care of the guards and I'll go after Clive. However, don't HARM any of the girls! Got it?"

"Whatever you say." Brunstealt merely grins.

Wow this girl...

If the fight happens under 20 feet and Clive doesn't already have his gun out, then fists might work. We have a zweihander, so that's not going to be too much help.

>>20291247
>Go with this plan
We find a good place where we can shoot from cover.
We use one of our powered up blasts to blow open the front door. Wait for the guards to come out and start picking them off with our assault rifle. When Clive comes out, we pump him full of holes.
>>
>>20291247

Hey OP, now that we can have a bit more control of magic, can we materialize parts for our gun using magic?
Like a bipod and PSO-1 scope for our assault rifle?
>>
>>20291310
Consider two points: our zweihander is probably powerful enough to cut trought those walls without difficulty, avoiding big wielding problems, and that we can still disarm him or avoid the firing point of the gun using close combat; also, its plenty of temporary shields (the other guys)
>>
>>20291404
Also lots of girls there, too. Lots of chances for screwing it up by accidentally killing the girls there.
>>
>>20291422
I don't care anymore...I just want that guy's head!
>>
>>20291404
That would still put us in a POSSIBLE danger zone.
My plan was to use our really powerful ally and our own firearm that (probably) has a farther range to our advantage.
No need to get in close when it's not needed.

"Alright, we're going with that plan. Let's get moving. Beastkin girl, stay here. Also, use your old name. What is it, anyway?" you walk forward, mud splashing onto your boots. You turn around to face the girl. She smiles, tilts her head to the side and wags her tail.

"Just call me Beatrix." she places a hand on her hip, waving you two to keep going. "Show me what you can do hero. Save them, alright?"

"Will do." both you and Brunstealt run forward and to the main building in the center of town. The battle begins in a flash. Brunstealt, in a blur moves in and destroys the entire front end of the brothel. "Holy shit." you just mumble to yourself, getting your assault rifle. You let out some fire, taking out some guards in the process. Brunstealt is tearing them to shreds. Kicking them, slashing at them, eating them. A total monster!

"Phew.. some party going on here, right fellas?" The man that you presume to be Clive walks out in the middle of the carnage, whistling a happy tune.

>Fill him with led! (Roll!)

>What to do?
>>
>>20291460
Uhm, I think that we're more in a danger zone trying to compete on the same field as our enemy. we know he uses a gun, so its natural assume that he's good with it; we lack experience and training, so its logical assume that we're inferior to him from distance...trying our luck with the close combat sounds more reasonable to me.
>>
We should ask our new subordinate (even if she's temporary) what she can do as well.
>>

The distance a rifle can fire at and stay consistent is vastly beaten by a pistol.
That's how it is in our world, and the MC wouldn't expect differently.

Going into mêlée against a gun is a bad idea. There's a reason soldiers stopped maining swords. It had a little to do with getting killed before being able to use them.
Being in mêlée is different, since you're already next to them.

You stay hidden, holding your rifle up, readying your aim. You create a scope on the top of the gun in a small, sparkle of light. You're still not seen, even after that. You're ready to pull the trigger at any time.

Meanwhile, Brunstault is still killing, maiming and utterly devastating the forces of the Brothel. Her mouth is dripping with blood, her tail is wagging back and forth. She's laughing and having a good ol' time!

You pull the gun. There was no need to second guess. The target was right there! You squeeze the trigger, and the barrel of the gun lights up. Bullets fly forward, straight into Clive... or not. A faint aura of purple surrounds the young man. The bullets were stopped in their tracks. They fall to the ground, sinking into the mud.

"You're pretty stupid, guy. I heard the gun shots when you were taking out the guards. Predictable." Clive shrugs to himself with his eyes closed. "Not like they could do much." Clive pulls out his magnum and, in an instant, fires off a few shots. No, not a few, he unloads the entire thing in a second! As soon as you saw the motion to pull the gun up, you project a barrier of your own in the shape of a circle that covers your entire body. It's pushed outward, about a foot from your body.

Crack.

Your own guard breaks under the force of the attack. Clive quickly reloads by creating new bullets. He smiles slightly, pushing his hat up. "So what's your name, stranger?"

You don't say anything because nothing needs to be said. You bring your hand up, reel it back and thrust it forward wit hthe gauntlet covering it. You don't yell because there's no need. With nothing but rage, you push forward!

"HAH!" Clive brings his own hand up, and grips your hand with an open palm. The sheer impact of the attacks colliding break the ground that you're standing on. It sends out a shock wave that rattles the entire foundation of the village, the entire foundation of the island! "You're pretty strong!" he speaks as though you're his junior.

"Just call me Anon." you share another blow before separating from one another. You both slide on the muddy surface, your clothes stained by the Earth as you lock eyes with one another.

"You're pretty good!" you perform a hand gesture, pointing to Clive. The guy only smiles. He bends down, low to the ground and leaps forward, mud and dirt blasting up from the ground hehind him. You crouch low and perform the same thing, destroying the building that was right behind you. You throw your fist forward, only for Clive to grab it with his palm again. "Why are you helping these guys? Aren't you a guardian!?"

"Because of true freedom!" Clive answers as he smashes his other fist into your stomach. You cringe in pain as Clive releases your other hand. "UPSY-DAISY!" Clive spins, performing a round-house kick. His foot meets your face and a loud crack is heard. You're sent flying backward, but you recover with what energy you have left from the recent attack. You place one arm on the ground, angle your feet and hope that you stop your acceleration into the building behind you. Thankfully, nothing comes of it. "I have to make a living too." he smiles mockingly. "Ready to die yet?"

"Shut it." you finally prepare for another attack!

Clive shrugs, crouches low and races forward at break neck speed.

You run as fast as you can, meeting the other Guardian face to face.

>>
For the future, might I recommend we head back home after this? We're ending this exploration side trip early but if there are two people about to turn into remnants, we should probably deal with that first.
>>
Thanks a lot, OP.
Now I have ANOTHER item on my catalog filter list.

Good quest, can't wait for tomorrow.
>>
Hey op, does the training gave us new combat maneuvers maybe?
>>
>>20292554
We just got here though. It won't have been a day since we came down here.
Once we clean up this mess, we can do a cursory examination of the Ruins to confirm if they're Lunarian, and I'd they contain any information useful to us concerning Remnants. Even confirmation that the Remnant disease is viral would help in letting us know that we need to set up quarantine measures.
Give it an entire day before going back.
>>
>>20292763
Maybe. Watch that one day was all the time we had left until one of them goes remnant...
Also, maybe we can agree that we should stop making the MC as reckless as he is now? Shooting Clive the way we did, when he was obviously waiting for us to do that, wasn't the brightest idea.
>>
>>20292835
That was actually the opposite of reckless. we are too caculating and predictable, and often we lack creativity in combat.
>>
>>20292915
I don't know about the calculating part. If that were true, we wouldn't have shot at him when he was painting himself as a huge target and standing there doing nothing while there was chaos going on in front of him.
>>
OP seems to take the most dramatic idea put forth.
Even if they are railed against by everyone.
>>
>>20293028
I wouldn't say that. OP just rolls with what he's given and unfortunately, some of the less smart actions had more support.
>>
>>20292953
the obvious target was more an invitation than a trap, and at that point it was the only thing to do. we felt compelled to play it safe, but in the end it didn't really changed anything. if we started being all out aggressive from the beginning, we could have gained a little edge on the guy, forcing him to react and show his cards.
or some shit like that. its 00.23 here, pardon my shitty english...good night
>>
>>20293028
...I like that.
>>
>>20293068
The first thing we did in this quest was punch a person in the face.
That had the backing of two people only.
Also, this fight is going the 'drawn out' route some shows tend to do.

We also don't seem to be the best at rallying behind a single course of action. Everyone likes to state their own variant, no matter how slightly different from the others.

Just my personal observations. I could easily be wrong.
>>
>>20293197
I won't comment on the earlier threads since those were a mess. But more recently, I think OP has been better at crafting the more popular opinions into the course of action.
>>
OP I'd like to make a suggestion. When faced with a choice to write in Anon, ask yourself if it is really necessary, for example in this sentence
"Don't mind me, now go along and play Hero, Anon. I'll keep her company." it would still flow nicely even if the word Anon was left out.
If you don't feel comfortable with leaving out a name then you can do what you were doing before and have them say a random name. I say this only because it's slightly jarring to see the Anon name.
>>
>>20293349
It's not a random name. We don't remember our name.
So we tell people to call us Anon.
>>
>>20293197
I try to ignore the first few threads and just deal with the consequences of them... It's definitely made things a lot more annoying and I wish they could be changed so Anon wasn't as socially retarded and on better terms with his summoner but thems the breaks. Just hope we get a chance to try to fix that soon.
>>
>>20293349
It's not a random name. We don't remember our name.
So we tell people to call us Anon.
We even go by 'Anon the Nameless' for a full name.
>>
>>20293349
Anon isn't a random thing. Since the character couldn't remember their real name, he's asked everyone to call him Anon.

>>20293402
If you ignore the first few threads, then how will you know what issues need to be addressed?
>>
>>20293403
I was talking about when people kept calling us different names in the last thread. Drei and Jeremiah being the names. I found it interesting that we were called a slave.
>>
>>20293503
Ignore them in the sense of how OP was running this then. We've lose some of the players from then, which has improved the quality of the story thankfully, and hopefully won't have to worry about suggestions of that level again.
>>
>>20293525
Drei is the captain of the knights. That was an impressive fight we had when we met him.
No idea who Jeramiah is.

I literally just finshed reading the fight. GARsplosion.
>>
>>20293637
And then he shacked up with our summoner and is probably going to make things awkward for us.
>>
>>20293637

The old man called us Jeremiah.
I quite like the name.
>>
>>20293674
He's only been dating Candencia for two weeks at most.
But yes, that will make things awkward, and we don't need any more awkwardness.
And I still want to know what the circumstances are around Candencia.
She's the princess, but can't order the Knights to do anything? She's royalty, but doesn't live in the castle? She's the only heir to the throne, but she's dismissed by her grandfather, her parents are nowhere around, and she's treated like just another commoner?
Someone is weird there.
>>
>>20293637
Yeah I messed up the name.
"Alright, you're welcome to come back any time, Jermiah."
"That's not my name."

"But you're the Guardian, Jack. Why don't we go and you stay!" Drei says something that isn't your name,

This is what I was talking about.
>>
>>20293719
I definitely also want to find out what's going on with Candencia. Hopefully we can actually pull it off and not get stopped by anon's who seem to hate her and just want to put her in Drei's lap and never talk to her again.
>>
>>20293774
Not only that, but while Drei seemed to be happy about spending more time with Candencia, she didn't seem too thrilled with the idea.
Am I the only one seeing that?
>>
This is a fantasy world. It seems to me she's just very autonomous.
Also, she's the daughter of a prince, which I believe in the real world would put her in line to only get a duchy.
OP is using quite a few fantasy tropes, and some more to explain those.
Cadencia does have her own house, she also seems to not have a job.
I have a feeling the king actually spoils her.
>>
>>20293936
He might be trying to pull a Griffith. Getting in good with the princess and moving up the social ladder.
>>
>>20293936
I had a similar thought honestly but wasn't sure.

>>20293947
She doesn't seem the spoiled type. And someone like that would probably be living in the castle. If she were being spoiled, she probably would have access to a lot more wealth and power.
>>
>>20294017
Somewhat readily endulges her ambitions?
You don't have to be a stuck up bitch from your grandfather spending some money on you. I have firsthand proof of that.
I'm not saying he goes "YOU CAN HAVE EVERYTHING FOREVER!".
>>
>>20293972
Feeling a little of this.
Also, we told her IT'S ADVENTURE TIME and then left her there.

Just to confirm, is our scary fox person that destroyed a storefront REALLY a loli?
>>
>>20294164
>REALLY a loli?
Do you mean in the sense that she's underage?
Or in the sense that it's the physical appearance she prefers to take?

Ah, she can transform. Guess she's a true fox demon.
Yes, mainly the appearance. Wanted to make sure I read it right.
