>heres what happened when 4chan is down and I tried to wrap up the thread on the tweet.

You break-off from the girls and proceed to look for Alice and Yuki.
You find them in the library, seated in one of the piles of cushions near the windows.
Yuki has a notebook and a pen in front of her and is telling Alice a story from it.

"...and then the queen gave the princess to her knight, telling them to be together and be happy."
'and then?" Alice asks.
"hmnn... and then the knight," Yuki takes up the pen and begins scribbling in the notebook, "the knight took the princes to his house in a bott-, I mean, in space, his house IN SPACE, and there she lived with the knight and all of the other princess happily forever and ever. The end."
"Yay!!!" Alice says happily, and then she spots you. "Papa!"
She runs up to you and jumps into your arms.

"Alice, how was your night with mama Yuki?" you ask your 'daughter'.
"She told me some stories!" she says as you pick her up.
"Mama?!" the other girl reacts from her seat on the near the window.
"Well, Everyone's her mama. Right Alice?"
"Yes papa!"
"M-mama?" Yuki asks in bewilderment before pointing at you, "P-papa?"
"Yes?" you reply as if being called by a nickname.
She blushes a gorgeous shade of red and her glasses begin to fog much like what you'd expect from your latenight, slice-of-life romance animes.

"So," you ask as you walked towards her with the girl in question in your arms "How was Alice?"
"She was fine. It's fun being with her." Yuki answers as she shifts to one side to make room for you.
You sit down beside her and say, "So that story, you were just writing it just now huh?"
"Y-yeah."
"Didn't I promise to do that with you sometime?"
"Y-you did?"
"I did. I remember it clearly now. We were supposed to do a round-robin story together. Why don't we do it now?"
"O-okay." she answers, suddenly aware of how close you were to her.
"Well then," you say with your most charming smile. "Let's start."

You decide to go for to get the ball rolling and Yuki hands you her notebook.
"Far, far away in a land whose name has been forgotten by time there once lived a young princess. She had a kind queen mother, and an angry king for a father. Any and all that tried to be friends with her were driven away by the king, until one day..." you wrote into a blank page of the notebook as you said it out-loud for Alice's benefit.

You hand it back to Yuki and she continues the story.
"A knight in service of the queen saw her, he was a new knight in the legion. A troublesome one they say. They met in the princess' favorite garden. The knight's initial roughness scared her, it surprised her. She didn't know how he got past her father the king [who wasn't really angry, just a bit on the edge at times.], and so she ran away..."

She hands the notebook back to you.

"Papa, I heard this story already. Can't you make another one?"
"Okay sweetie." you then turn to Yuki, "So you told her this story before?"
"It's... similar to the one I just finished."
Well then, let's make another one..."
You turned to a blank page and began to write again.

"Long ago, in a distant land, there lived a great hound, by the name of Enkidu. He lived with his master, Gilgamesh, and his friend, Urshanabi the raven, in the great city of Ur."

"EENkidoo? GigaMeltz? Urshashabi? Papa. The names are haaaaaaard." Alice complains.

The next day, Tuesday, you and your class are gathered in the classrooms getting a surprisingly in-depth lecture from the Dude.

We were already told about the Bureau having treaties with the TSAB and the TG. It stands to reason that we should ask if the Bureau has allies or enemies among other agencies.

The dude stood there behind his podium trying to figure out a way to answer you.
"I'm sorry kid, but that for now is classified information. Once you become full-fledged agents, you will be told about it. But as of now, your clearance is too low."
"Then it's some form of secret technology?"
"Somewhat. I'll tell you this though, it's the Bureau's #1 source of income, It also as you've said, powers most of our tech. It's not really much of a rare substance but collecting and refining it is a hard, dangerous process. That's the most I could say about this subject."

"I mean, we know that the TSAB and the Transpace Guard have treaties with the Bureau, and we're mostly going to be fighting inter-dimensional criminals. But are there inter-dimensional agencies that are enemies of the Bureau, and whose agents we might have to fight?"
"Well, yes, and no. There are some operations out there that would be openly hostile not only to use but to other agencies as well, but as far as we know, they themselves have yet to encroach on places that we have a presence on. The big-dogs are too busy fighting among themselves to notice the mouse in the corner that's us."
"What if they do notice?"
"Then we defend ourselves. Counter-attack only when attacked. But then again, we have been training you to keep under the radar, and we hope that you keep doing so out in the field."

It's the one where the dude finds girls with latent magical ability and trains them to fight super magical girls, but then the girls he trains become too powerful and so he has to find a weaker girl to train to fight the super magical girl, etc. He does this to collect their power for REASONS.

Why do people dislike campaigns so much on a board where pretty much the only other thing that is discussed is rules systems for campaigns and stories about campaigns that have already run?

If D&D and WH and other things can truly be called traditional games, why can't other rules systems be called TGs? I barely ever see any threads about truly traditional games on this board, and they tend to die very quickly or get super trolled.

I think every chess thread I've seen gets the response "Queen's Gambit" within 5 posts, and dies within 20. If the board is slow.
>>
>>20435588
Cartographer is being reasonable at least, if LG says sage then I'll sage.
>>
>>20435637

Dude, he's being civil. You could at least try to do the same.
>>
>>20435588
It's not about the threads themselves. It's not about any individual quest.

It's about the fact that the ratio of quest threads to other threads is unbearably high. Lots of people on /tg/ like to talk about other things that quickly get page 2/3'd by quest threads and are difficult to find.

I'm trying to find a compromise; I think the threads belong here, but it's the same as vidya generals belonging on /v/; too many of them.
>>
>>20435649
>>20435653
This has been tried in the past and more than a few of us do sage but it doesn't help the that 1 tg is slow and 2 some don't sage because really it isn't necessary.

None of the other quests even bother with it because frankly the people are going to bitch regardless of what we do to appease them.

So sorry cart but I doubt that will actually be done or work, you and others just have to use the catalog or look past page 0
>>
>>20435669
>Guys I have a compromise. It's called go the fuck away guys. I'm being reasonable, I swear!

Nope. Usually less than M:tG threads

>>

There are eleven Warhammer 40k threads on /tg/ right now.
There are less than eleven quest threads on /tg/ that are active.

You're wrong.
>>
>>20435653
He's trying to be civil, but he seems confused about how many quests there actually are. Currently, quests make up 11/165 threads on /tg/, or about 6.66 percent of /tg/. There is no quest flood, there is no "sheer volume of quests", there is no problem. People just aren't using the tools available to them.

And why should we sage? MSQ is obviously popular, with a high amount of activity. If Cartographer doesn't like seeing threads he doesn't like, he should try to contribute more to threads he does like.
>>
>>20435669
Look, I understand that there are some threads you just don't care about. But I don't barge into 40k threads and tell them to do shit because I don't like how they're having fun and they're taking up board space that could be used for threads about what I want. I just ignore them and move on. Why can't you?
>>
>>20435760
Because he thinks he is right and that these threads shouldn't be on the front page because they aren't tg related to him and a bunch of neckbeards who canng handle anything but D&D, 40k or MtG being on tg

He is just being polite about it
>>
>>20435637
>>20435726
>>20435734
This.
Go there first and find the threads about contemporary tabletop games that you want to participate in and click the picture. It's a much better system than what 4chan has. And you won't even really notice that your thread is on whatever page.
>>
>>20435482

There's no reason to sage. If you don't like the quest, just ignore it.
>>
What if... what if the trolls planned this argument?
>>
>>20435813
It's not like it'll keep LG from posting or us from answering.
And that's the only thing that really matters.
>>
Objectively, there is no reason why posters in a quest thread can't/shouldn't sage.

Unlike every other type of thread, quest threads do not involve discussion of /tg/-related material, and so should be kept off of the first couple of pages ideally.
>>
>>20435828
Yes but if they are getting smarter it doesn't bode well for the rest of the website.
>>
Ironically, Cartographer's request for a voluntary autosage has produced the largest quantity of posts in the shortest period of time in today's thread.

Thanks for inspiring us to get back on the front page. You've really helped our visibility.
>>
>>20435838
Quest threads don't "involve discussion of /tg/-related material" because they, themselves, are /tg/-related material.
That's like saying you can't post manga in /a/ because it isn't a discussion of /a/ related material.
In other words, asinine.
>>
>>20435838
Objectively, you can go gargle your father's dong.

You get out of your seat and approach Sousuke, He's in his seat checking out a magazine depicting some sort of robot similar to one youve seen him pilot before.
"Hey man, What's up?" you ask the soldier.
"everything is under control." he answers.
"err.. yeah. well, I just wanted to ask you something, if you don't mind."
"Go on."
"Well, how are things with you and those girls? have you, well ironed things out?"
"Affirmative."
"And how are Tessa and Chidori now?"
"They have been enrolled in Basic training as of yesterday. Their instructor is Mike like he was for us and their handler is also Mike. Commander Mardukas and I have an uneasy truce set-up for now."
[ ]well that's good

>>20435838
Who's grandfather played D&D? Or mtg? Or 40k?
Now tell me if you're grandfather told you stories.
Did you respond to him in the middle of those stories, about what you thought or what you wanted to happen in the story?

I know that when my dad started playing D&D my grandparents thought the devil was possessing him and forcing him to do evil magic.

But he did tell him and me stories. My father also told me stories. I remember telling them what I wanted to happen in the stories and what I thought about it. I've also told my son and nieces and nephews stories and they reacted pretty much the same way I did with their commentary.

Quest threads definitely remind me of the story times.

Look up the definition of tradition. You may be surprised at what truly is traditional.

must introduce them into the information network, we'll have to see Keima about that.

[x]ALONZEE!
>>
>>20435838
Little late but to weigh-in on this. What should be done is OP/Votes bump longs all /other/ talk should be saged. There, at times, can be a lot of other stuff be talked about in the thread that doesn't involve the a vote or answer to 'what do' as it were. Even if it is talk about the quest as a whole people end up bumping it needlessly.

But that would need a change to the whole of /tg/ to have any real affect. At this point you're just better off at hiding the thread or going to catalog.

>well that's what I think at least...

"Affirmative. They replaced the last class that has now moved on to advance lessons under Lord Commissar Max."
"And Mike is their handler?"
"Affirmative."
"I hope the guy isn't over-worked."
"Anyway, thanks for the talk man." you tell Sousuke as you lean in and whisper, "I know how you feel about those girls becoming trainees man. I know how you feel. If you ever need anything. ANYTHING. just come talk to me okay?"
"Roger that."

>>
>>20436051
Seconding talk to Ayumu if just to check up on the guy
>>
>>20436034
Let us commit shenanigans.

Our mission is to somehow get Keima and Susan in the same room and talking to each other, without either of them freaking out beforehand.

Then we make videotapes.
>>
>>20436034
Keima.
Ask if he would like you to introduce him to a couple of girls from the new class so he can expand his database. And tease the shit out of him.
>>
>>20436051
Yeah plus we have seen the bugger in a while
>>
>>20436065
>>20436051
We could do Keima and Ayumu at the same time.
>>
>>20436080
I'd like to point out that we're still supposed to be helping him get over the fact that he's forced to wear a skirt every time he transforms, and we haven't actually done anything to help him with that.
>>
>>20436093
We have given him the whole confidence bout atleast.
>>
>>20436093
And that's also a problem (in a different flavor) that Keima is having. We need to get Ayumu comfortable being a guy in girl's clothing, and we need to get Keima comfortable being a girl in a guys skin.
We need a private, crossdressing tea party with just the three of us.
>>
>>20436130
He's not a girl in a guy's skin. He's usually a heterosexual male, he's just gay for Hayate and has no clue how to deal with it.
>>
>>20436143
Crossdressing tea party is still the right answer.
Just... we can't let the girls ever find out.
Ever.
>>
>>20436130
>We need to get Ayumu comfortable being a guy in girl's clothing, and we need to get Keima comfortable being a girl in a guys skin.
Ayumu's situation is that his Device hasn't been recoded to have his armor fitted to him, since his Device wasn't activated by him. He's got no desire to wear girl clothes, either consciously or unconsciously, it's just that his job makes him because of the equipment he's been issued.

As for Keima, he prefers being a guy, and it's only Hayate that makes him feel any different. So he's not really a girl in a guys skin, as you put it.
>>
>>20436171
We should really ask Mike about that. They may have a way to reset stuff like that.
>>
>>20436189
But the question remains.... have we come to far to stop now?
I think we have. All those threads ago much has changed, but our femkeima lust remains.
>>
>>20436171
>>20436189
I thought he secretly liked it, but couldn't handle the thought of liking being dressed as a girl at the same time as the shock of actually being dressed as a girl.
Wasn't the main reason he idolized us that we could be perfectly comfortable with ourselves?
>>
>>20436242
>Wasn't the main reason he idolized us that we could be perfectly comfortable with ourselves?
No, it was more the fact that in spite of being dressed in a skirt, we were a babe magnet.
That's what he wants to learn from us.

"Hey Keima what's up?"
"Nothing much." he answers without looking up at you.

"In spite of" nothing. One of our appeals is that our masculinity increases in proportion to our femininity when crossdressed. Our girls love dressing us up. Being in a skirt is not at all a detriment to our ability to attract the ladies.

"Sooo... Sexual relations." you say jokingly just to get a rise out of the lad.

You did, get a rise out of him, but one you did not expect.
He stands up abruptly, the PSPs tossed into the safety of his pockets and grabs your hand.
he drags you down the hall to a service ladder you've always assumed led to the roof.

He pulls you up and out through it and you indeed arrive at the roof.
"H-hey Keima. You're freaking me out man." you say as he keeps his back to you.
"You think this is funny? You think it's a joke?!" His voice begins to shake. "Do YoU thinK thAt DoiNg aLl of ThIs to ME is amuSing?"
"IT'S NOT!" he turns around, a distant look on his face.
"You want sexual relations?" He fumbles with his belt, his Zapper stretching the fabric of his trousers. "I'LL GIVE YOU SEXUAL RELATIONS!"

"So.. huh. Where'd Hayate go?" Erica asks Hina as they ate at home.

this list is rather old, there's probably stuff that should be added to it that I can't think of at the moment.

Continue work on original potions (BEARMODE, genderswap, Swag brew, Sexual Stamina, chibi, speed, melmo, invisibility, clones), read Alchemy book.
Read the books Yuki gave us(Cyrano, Don Quixote, Shakespeare).
Plan a day long event with one of the Bureau’s facilities at our disposal during a break period (Steampunk/Victorian London Murder Mystery, Warehouse 13/23/51, Alice in Wonderland).
Acquire Flux Capacitor/Variable cogitator, waiting to hear back from Doc Brown.
Cultivate Snowberry bush. Lo, Boku, Desu, and Manda are in charge of it.
Check out that robot we found in the lab.
More training with Mike/Ryuu
Reconsider prank-revenge on Mike for the psychic paper. Rood & Tesla have been recruited.
>>
>>20440333
Also, penis-butt.
