You head up to the clocktower dominating the campus.
The tall structure, one Hina hated when she still had that paralyzing fear of heights, contained the student council's offices and of course, the Presidents.

*Ding!*
The old styled elevator sounds your arrival.
You step out of it onto the floor indicated to be the Student Council's.
"Hello?" You call out, expecting to find a student or something.
"Hellooo?"

Someone stirs awake from a behind a couch,
"Yeeeeeees...?"
A cyan haired lady pulls herself up and looks straight at you.
"Who are you...?" she asks "You look suspicious.. and poor. ARE YOU A THIEF?!"
"Of course not!" You object.
"T-then... are you after m-my body?!"
She stands up and goes for one of the swords adorning the walls as decoration,
[why they have those here, you will never know]
"I WON'T LET YOU!" Weapon in hand, she attacks.

You instinctively reach into your pockets for a knife to defend yourself with, grabbing nothing there, you sidestep to narrowly avoid the wild strike.

The woman's waving the sword around dangerously.
Her swings wild and uncontrolled.
Moving in to disarm her, a quick jab at her wrist makes her drop the sword.

"Guh..." She looks at the fallen weapon "I'll get you for that..."
She begins to attack you with her fists.
She's decent you guess, her punches much more accurate then her sword swings were, but you of course had the upper hand on her, what with being trained by a magic gorilla and all.
Easily avoiding her punches and occasional kicks, you hold her off for a few minutes.

**DING**
the elevator arrives at the floor and opens.
Hina, the pink haired girl you were looking for steps out and sees the fight.
"Nee-chan, what's going on here?" She asks her sister.
"HINA! THIS GUY'S AN INTRUDER! AND HE... HE WANTS MY BODY!"

"So... Who are you?" Hina asks as she calms down and walks towards the large desk dominating the room.
"Why do you know my name and what do you need from me?"

"I am Hayate Ayasaki. I'm the new butler for Nagi Sanzenin. I was hoping to learn more about the school grounds so that I could better serve her and be of use."

This is just a simulated Hina.

Gonna second this. Sounds like the most reasonable thing I've heard throughout the simulation.

Since it's now obvious that this Hina does not know you and is also just a simulation herself, you decide to just introduce yourself and move on.
"Hello Hinagiku san. I'm Sanzenin Nagi's new butler, Ayasaki Hayate. I came here to thank you for helping milady out with her academic pursuits and to offer you my respects."

"well... could you please direct me to the music room?" you ask her.
"Oh? you have business there?"
"I just need to check it out for something."
"Hmnnn, alright. I'll take you there myself."

You and Hina ride down the elevator, [stepping around her still unconscious sister] and head across the campus to one of the buildings.
There, she leads you to one of the unoccupied music rooms and stays to watch whatever you had to do.

You look around the room, it's more of a concert-hall than a simple music room, a full orchestra of instruments sat there waiting for someone to play them.

The piano's lid stood open, a violin lay it's in open case on a racks.
Trumpets, guitars, horns and flutes all stood at the ready for the next class.

A song you drew from the fact that you missed your family and how much you wanted to get out of here at this instant.

Fingers danced, the bow flew, a sad yet determined melody issued forth from the lovely instrument you cradled.

we got scolded because we didn't try to change our tactics.
Both people we know to be connected to the bureau are not. For all intents and purposes we're back in our home dimension, canon uninterrupted.
I don't know what 'Stop Dancing. Feel' means.
Dancing might be an allusion to the fact that we're somehow being manipulated, but the last time that came up was romancing Mio.
Did Athena teach Hayate anything about dancing?
We haven't tried yet to significantly break offf the rails of our canon, maybe we ought to try that. Would 5000 yen be enough to get us a ticket to mainland Asia? Maybe we should try becoming a professional cyclist or a concert musician or something. first thing would be to leave our 'home' though.
>>
>>20563455
We still have the "Check A-tan" choice.

Speaking of that, if Hayate doesn't remember where she live, Hina does.
>>
>>20563401
[x]stay in the school, look around the campus for anything that doesn't fit.

>>20563455
That doesn't fit in at all with what the Bureau tries to teach.
"Stop Dancing. Feel" could also refer to stop dancing around, trying to find an exit, making a mess of the Dimension's intended course, and feel what the universe is trying to make us do so that we fit in better.
>>
>>20563401
Alexi believes we should take Nagi on a week long trip to America. Fuck canon.
>>
>>20563503
tyring to listen to the will of the universe also isn't something the bureau has been trying to teach us.

whatever we're doing right now isn't working. I doubt at this point that finding A-tan is going to make a difference.
>>
>>20563601
>tyring to listen to the will of the universe also isn't something the bureau has been trying to teach us.
Yes it is. We're deep cover operatives. We're supposed to be unseen and undetected, completely indistinguishable from the natives. If we don't listen to the universe, how do we act like we belong and there be unnoticed?
>>
>>20563624
Alexi will point out that the only objective is to break out, not blend in.

>>
>>20563624
you are right, we're supposed to blend in and be discrete. but that's not what i thought
>feel what the universe is trying to make us do
meant.

The best I can make of 'Stop Dancing, Feel' is that we're not supposed to be following a predetermined set of steps, that whatever it is we're trying to break out of, doing so will require some genuinely unconventional behavior from us. The objective is so vague and the possibilities of what it means is so all-encompassing that i have no idea what we ought to try next.
>>
>>20563692
Most likely via Stargate. We don't know because we were knocked unconscious because of majaik drain when we used our tea laser too much.
>>
>>20563698
So you automatically go with the most reckless, most violent, or most stupid actions when given vague mission objectives, insufficient intel, and ambiguous orders? The exact kinds of situations that a deep-cover operative would experience?
>>
>>20563401
"Well.. If you three would excuse me, I have other things to do." You say as you slip out of the bed.
"awww.. we wanted to play with you some more." Izumi objects
"Some other time Izumi-san, I'll play with you to your heart's content."
You slip out of the infirmary, leaving the three behind.

You decide to stay in the school, looking out for something that doesnt sit right.
This world is perfect, too perfect.
As far a s you know, there's no Yakuza out to get you, no parents wanting to ruin everything.
You have the beginnings of a stable somewhat normal life.
If you didn't know that this was all a test, a simulation, you'd be inclined to stay here.
But no, you need to break out.

You search the school for something, anything that might help.

the danger I see with that plan, is how long do we wait before we become convinced that we've woken up from the bureau?
A week?
A month?
A year?

What happens if we go a decade in Nagi's service, being the duitiful butler, living in this world like we were always meant to. If the doorway shows up then, are we going to want to walk through it?

We know we belong at the Bureau, but how many years of living according to canon do you think it would take to convince Hayate otherwise?

We didn't get massive headaches before the Bureau, so if we did "wake up" we likely have a brain tumor and will die soon anyways.

Anyways, checking A-tan couldn't hurt anything? Worst that happens is that she's a sim too.
>>
>>20563907
dat be true.
>>
>>20563918
Of course, to help us with that "woke up" issue, we should probably get a small tattoo in an area that isn't noticeable. That way, if we "wake up" and the tattoo is there, either we weren't dreaming, or we're insane.

You look around the school, strolling aimlessly through the large campus.

You really don't have any idea just what you could do to get out of here.
Getting in contact with Tama was a bust, so was talking to Hina.
This perfect world has you securely trapped.

After sometime looking for something, even if you have no idea what that something was, you hear the bells in the clocktower begin to toll.
It's noon.
A whole morning has passed without much progress.

Still walking around listlessly, you happen to bump into your lady as she talked on the phone.
"...Well that was fast." She remarks as she sees you and puts down the phone.
"What was milady?"
"I was just about to call Maria to get you to pick me up. I guess It won't be necessary now."
"What about school Milady?"
"I'm ditching." she answers honestly. "So, Hayate, Let us go home!"

--------------------------------------------------
Days pass, you live a half-hearted life in the mansion with Nagi and Maria,
You've met Nagi's friends Sakuya, the eccentric comedian, and Isumi, the girl that always seemed to get lost, those two also seemed to be just more characters in this simulation.

On the morning of the 7th day, a week after the simulation started, fed up with this mostly pointless existence, you decide to try something different.

WAT DO?
>>
>>20563942
Check A-tan.
>>
>>20563942
Go feed Tama
And by feed I mean have him gnaw on us
>>
>>20563942
I have no fucking idea.
>>
>>20563942
Call Hina, ask for info about A-tan
>>
>>20563942
Ask for a leave of absence, and ask Hinagiku if she could lead to Athena.
Let's see how well the simulation is built.
>>
>>20563942
Start dominating people sexually and become Negayate.
Obviously being Hayate isn't working so maybe being not Hayate will work
>>
rolled 99 = 99

Fucking simulations must feel like a god damn dream, pinch our dumb ass and focus on that, slap The Dude around for putting us in this shit when we finally get out. otherwise got with the A-tan thing and keep thinking about our life in the bureau so we don't forget who we are.
>>
>>20564073
>slap The Dude around for putting us in this shit
For what, doing his job?
Not his fault we're too stupid to figure it out. He already said at the beginning that it'd be easy to figure out for some, and hard as hell for others.
This is supposed to be a test of our ability and skill.

You decide to try and look for A-tan.
You don't even know why you want to do it, you just think that you have to.
If this simulation, as you believe it, is built out of Tama's, Hina's and your memories, then she just might be in this one too.

You remember Hina talking about how she befriended A-tan for a short period back on your home Dimension after Alice appeared in the Bureau.
If this world is as well crafted and as perfect as you think it is, then she should be here as well.

You ask your lady a day off, citing personal reasons for doing so.
She relents and goes back to sleep, ignoring her need to go to school that day.

Changing out of your butler's clothes, you don your Bureau uniforn, mended by Maria after Tama's attack, and head out towards the school.

There, you quickly go to Hina's office to ask her about A-tan.
"The Chairman? Why? What do you need from her?" She asks.

WAT SAY?
**add a roll**
> considering first 5
>>
rolled 81 = 81

I'm looking for an old friend and I heard they might know each other.
>>
>>20564117
Sorry, tired. Reword that to.

"She's an old friend, and I'd like to speak to her."
>>
>>20564095
He hasn't even given us a fucking goal.
'Get out' is the only clue we've got, and if we assume that to mean 'get out of the simulation' how the fuck are supposed to achieve it? Kick our data manipulation powers (which we've had ONE experiment session for) in the ass?
>>
rolled 78 = 78

>>20564109
"She's an old friend, but we haven't seen each other in a while. I was hoping to get back in touch with her."
>>
rolled 3 = 3

>>20564109
Its not gonna suck itself bud
>>
rolled 2 = 2

>>20564109
"She is an old friend, and we lost touch with each other. I'd like to mend our friendship, if I can."
>>
>>20564127
That's for us to figure out, not for him to give a detailed briefing on. We're also supposed to handle investigation and apprehension of inter-dimensional criminals without Bureau support or intel reports once we're fielded. This is a test of our abilities.
>>
rolled 69 = 69

>>20564132
well there's a slim chance this will be worse than the two before.
>>
>>20564173
Either way, if this universe is based on our normal one, she knows magic. Hopefully she can teach us some.

If she's still pissed at us, we just put on a target.
If she's not pissed at us, we just got a potential way out.
>>
>>20564109
>81 decent enough
"She's an old friend, and I'd like to speak to her."
"Oh, you knew her?"
"We... We were childhood friends I guess you could say."
"I could try to get you an appointment with her I guess... but..."
"But what?"
"It's nothing. I'll see if I can get you in."
She turns to the computer on her desk, possibly sending some e-mails and such, and a few minutes later, turns back to you.
"Well, you're in-luck. She's going to visit the school for an inspection tomorrow, I'll try and set something up for you then."

"Thank you Hinagiku-san." you say as you get ready to head out. "If there's anything I could do for you to repay you please do tell me."
"No, It's nothing. You don't need to pay me back."

YOU HAVE A FULL DAY UNTIL MEETING A-TAN.
DO ANYTHING IN PARTICULAR AS YOU WAIT?
>>
>>20564306
Do Nagi's homework.
>>
rolled 66 = 66

Start dancing,....then stop.

Hey it is dumb but it might work.
>>
>>20564306
Wrestle with Tama, brush up on our swordfighting skills.
A-tan is the one who taught us how to fight with a sword; we may as well see just how good this simulation of her actually is.
>>
>>20564306
Go to a hat shop. I'd like to see if we can manage to "turn" any animals without Klaus.
>>
>>20564306
Continue to look around for stuff that seems off for the setting? People we don't recognize, or people that we should know being missing.

Alternatively, just try to feel your way through this. Don't think, overthinking is the enemy, go with your gut, not your brain.
>>
>>20564321
and read up on the show Stargate.

the Dude just said we have to find a way out. if other paths lead nowhere, we might try finding one of earth's stargates as an extreme option.
>>
>>20564340
Alternatively, ask Hina what her reaction would be to the statement we were given, "Stop Dancing. Feel," would be.
>>
>>20564340
What about Ayumu Nishizawa.
She's someone we know is supposed to be here, but that we haven't seen.
Also, if she doesn't recognize us when she should (since we have the scarf she made for us), then we can see if our existence was erased from this world. If that's the case, that would give us something to search for, any mention of our existence would be a clue to breaking out.
>>
rolled 9 = 9

>>20564306
We should go karaoke some Freddy Mercury
>>
>>20564388
That might work as well.
Maybe look for a karaoke bar called "Dancing Feel"?
>>
>>20564306
As you got into the elevator, you paused to ask Hina this,
"Hinagiku-san, if someone to tell you 'STOP DANCING. FEEL.' what would you think of it?"
"I would think they'd been watching too much anime." she answers.
"Other than that?"
"I don't know, It seems like a very enigmatic phrase to be told out of the blue. The weird structure of the sentence though correct, is strange. I'd say whover told me that has something they want to get across, but as to what it was, I wouldn't know. Maybe it's some kind of code."
"I see, thank you again Hinagiku-san."

You head out of the tower and get on with your day.
-------------------------------------------
The rest of the day was spent wandering around town, still trying to figure out what STOP DANCING, FEEL meant.
The day ended without much of a breakthrough.

The next day, you go to school with your lady and await the moment when you would get to meet A-tan again.

As you hung around near the library, leaning against a tree, thinking of how you would proceed when you meet A-tan, an announcement on the P-A system catches your attention.

"Will Ayasaki Hayate please proceed to the Student Council's office? The President would like a word with you."
Thinking that this was the signal, you head back to the clocktower.

There, at the base, you meet Hinagiku waiting for you.
"She's up in my office. This is your chance to talk to her." she tells you as she walks away.
"Thank you again Hinagiku-san."
You ride the elevator up, unsure of just what's waiting for you.

There she was standing on the balcony over-looking the school.
She's grown from the lovely little girl you remember to a stunningly beautiful woman.
Even if her back was turned to you, you are still sure that it's her.
You would never forget that golden blonde hair that you had the pleasure of brushing so long ago.
Its her alright, your first love, Athena Tenousou, A-tan.

OK, Looks I can scrap that "Google for Lisa S. with the burning card" And go "A-Tans Castle" "A-Tans Castle" "A-TANS CASTLE"
