Kaliel suddenly swung one leg over the bed, straddling you, the tail of her living armor twitching as she did so.
"Ishelda." She said, suddenly, looming closer to you, amber eyes staring into yours. "I was really worried."
She licked her lips, and-
Someone knocked on the door. Reflexively, Kaliel leapt off of you as Raziel opened the door and walked in, her staff glimmering- it looked improved, and polished to an orichalum sheen.
"Leon told me you were awake again." Raziel said, giving you a smile. She had large bags underneath her eyes, but didn't seem to notice.
>>
>>20581981
"Y-yeah. Did you put Sker into the staff?"
>>
>>20581981
"Raz!" Hold arms out for a well-deserved hug.
>>
>>20581981
I- wh- yes.
>>
>>20581981
"You look tired. Have you been working the entire time I was asleep?"
>>
"I- wh- yes." You say, and hold your arms out for a hug. Her wings twitch, and she hugged you, not seeming to notice the way Kaliel was blushing furiously, hands behind her back.
"Did you put Sker into the staff?"
Raziel closed her eyes and nodded.
"I did the totem and everything." She said.
"You look tired." You say. "Have you been working the entire time I was asleep?"
"Not . . all of it." She said. "Just whenever Kali was watching over you. How are you feeling?"
>>
>>20582071
"I'm okay. My arms are kind of strange though."
Hold up our hands so she can see the silvery lines.
>>
>>20582071
Probably a lot better than I should.
>>
>>20582071
"Okay, I guess. Although my hands do look really strange now. Leon was so nice to watch over me while you were busy, and Kaliel slept."
>>
>>20582071
"Quite well. Kal brought me tea and cookies."
>>
"I'm okay." You say. "I guess. Although my hands do look really strange now."
"They do." Raziel said.
"Leon was so kind to watch over me while you were busy, and Kaliel slept. She brought me tea and cookies."
Raziel grinned, and turned to Kali. "You finally got someone to eat the lembas bread you made?"
"Kiyara said they were good." Kali said, pouting.
"Elves can hardly taste sugar, though." Raziel said. "That's why those wafers have ten times as much sugar as they need."
>>
>>20582162
"I think they're good Kali."
>>
>>20582162
"Do... do you think they make me look weird? Should start wearing gloves, now?"
Take one of the wafers, break it in half, and shove one half in Raziel's mouth.
"They're great. I bet you just haven't tasted them!"
>>
>>20582162
"Well, if you think that, you obviously haven't tried them yet."
Offer her some delicious lembas bread.
>>
"Well, I like them." Kaliel said.
Swiftly, you snap a wafer in half, and shove one half in Raziel's mouth as she opens it to speak.
"They're great." You say, as Raziel stands there, chewing. "I bet you haven't tasted them."
"They're a . .bit too sweet." Raziel said, and you pop the other half in your mouth.
You look down at your hands, staring at the glimmering silver lines that trail down your skin. They don't feel strange or uncomfortable, but. .
"Do... do you think they make me look weird? Should I start wearing gloves, now?" You ask.
"I think they're pretty." Raziel said.
"Definitely." Kaliel added. "And they make you look. . More *magical*, I suppose."
>>
>>20582278
the most magical hands in all the land!
>>
>>20582278
"Magic!"
>>
>>20582278
"Thank you." All Kalak must be hugged. "It means a lot to mean to hear that from you two."
>>
>>20582351
> to mean
Derp. *to me*
>>
"Thank you." You say, and get to your feet so that you can pull them into a group hug. "It means a lot to me, to hear that from you two."

Kaliel's tail snatches up another wafer of lembas bread- one from your pile, no less, and she took a bite.
"Well." Raziel said, returning your hug. "We still need to decide where to go after this." She said. "And you need to win me thirty silver from Fellwind."
>>
>>20582424
Giggle. "You're just hoping I'll lose soundly, so you can take care of me again."
"I think we should inform the ogres the portal has been closed. We can do that either by contacting their magi through the rings, or by visiting their cities to the south."
>>
>>20582424
You're not winning any silver, you said you'd give it to me.

>Bets 15 silver
>If she wins, she gets her 15 silver back and gives the 15 in winnings to us
>If she loses she's down 15 silver
>>
>>20582424
"I suppose we should tell the ogres that the portal is closed. Did anyone even tell Jeanne about that bet?"
>>
>>20582537
Whoops, I completely misread that somehow. Whatever, remind her she promised us half, you know.
>>
>>20582537
>She bet 30, and is giving you 15 if you win, and keeps an extra 15. If she loses, she's down 30.

"Did anyone ever tell Jeanne about that bet?"
"I'm pretty sure Fellwind did." Raziel said.
"I suppose we should tell the ogres that their portal is closed." You say.
"Probably." Kaliel said. "We're near the mountain, so we can go tell the mages without travel time."
"We decided to go here because it's closest to the center of the continent." Raziel said. "So that when you woke up, it'd take less time when you decide where we're going."
>>
>>20582588
"Well, let's go tell them then"

Also show them our cool hand magiscars, see if they know what it is.
>>
>>20582588
"Let's visit the magicians in their retreat, then. They might have a clue what happened to my hands, as well."
>>
"Let's visit the magicians in their retreat, then." You say. "They might have a clue what happened to my hands, as well." You say.

After shooing Kaliel and Raziel out of the room, you get changed out of your nightclothes and back into your armor, strapping Rikar to your hip.
"Glad to see you back, Lady." Kristoph said, nodding to you as you came above deck. The sun was already setting, it seemed. While he was near, though your magic was still 'free', so to speak, the silver lines going down your arms dimmed until they were all but invisible. Kris, Kaliel, and Raziel were the only ones abovedeck at the time, it seemed.

Jormungandr returned to the cliff where the retreat sat, and you see several pale brown sgragol look up at you, some of them wearing large bags on their backs- supplies, no doubt. You see two ogres at the cliff-face, one reciting something off of a scroll. The other looks up at you as Jormungandr sets down, and he waves.
"You were the commander of the battle at bastion, were you not?" He asked, and bowed. "I'm pleased to make your acquaintance. Welcome to Sgragol Bastion."
The second ogre finishes reciting his spell, and the cliff-face vanished, once again becoming a tunnel.
>>
>>20582746
"That was indeed me"

Head inside.
>>
>>20582746
"Thank you, I was. It is an honour to meet you."
>>
"Thank you, I was." You say, stepping down the gangplank. Kristoph and Raziel followed. "It is an honor to meet you."
"I was one of the ground fighters during that battle." He said, and the two ogres took a large satchel off of one of the sgragols. Together, the five of you made your way down through the tunnels and into the bastion proper.
"Ishelda." The ogre mage said, as the five of you entered the hall. The two ogres quickly got to work unloading the sgragol- they were carrying supplies, it seemed. "I am glad you've returned. The portal is closed, and the minotaurs have lost cohesiveness- it seems that their leader has been killed."
>>
>>20582870
Yes. I think he was going to tell me something, but then Dras'Lea killed him.
>>
>>20582870
"Indeed. They should be relatively easy to defeat now. Since you are so knowledgeable concerning magic, I was hoping someone here would know what this means."
Show him our hands.
>>
>>20582870
"Indeed. However, I must inform you that Skerghaul was killed in the battle around the portal."
>>
"Indeed." You say. "However, I must inform you. . Skerghaul was killed, in the battle around the portal."
"I... I see." He said, after a moment. His eyes blinked in surprise. "He was. . He was very determined, to do what he could for our people. Then. . that means we no longer have any seers."
"And. . the prophecies in our library were all burned by the minotaurs." One of the other magi spoke up.
The ogres were silent for a moment.
"Since you are so knowledgable concerning magic, I was hoping someone here would know what this means." You say, and raise your hands. In the dimness of the dark, underground hall, the silver lines started glimmering, glowing in the darkness.

The ogre closed his eyes, and incanted a spell, twisting his fingers into a somatic component. With the strong scent of divination magic, he opened his eyes again and examined your arms.
"I'm. . not exactly clear." He said. "It's similar to our tattoos, however, which is rather strange. . But I have a feeling that this isn't the cause of a meddling seer. I have a feeling this is something. . accidental. How was this caused?"
>>
>>20583027
"I thrust my hands into the raw fury of a void that exuded massive amounts of magic"
>>
>>20583027
I... don't really know. I burned my hands off and passed out and then they healed like this.
>>
>>20583027
"I ended up with my hands in the portal, trying to drain it or seal it. My hands were charred very badly."
>>
"I... don't really know. I burned my hands, and passed out and then they healed like this." You say.
"Fire wouldn't do this, even spellflame of all sorts." The ogre mage said. "How were they burned?"
"I, erm, thrust my hands into the raw fury of a void that exuded incredible amounts of magic." You say.
"You. . .you burned away your skin with raw magic." He said. "A lot of it. That would. . that would do this. I suppose. It's hard to say what raw magic would and wouldn't do."
He took a deep breath.
"I'm sorry, but I can't say what they are or what they do. It's entirely possible that they're simply cosmetic." He said, finally.
>>
>>20583122
"Hmmm, thank you, anyway. If I come to dislike them, I guess I could just magic the lines away."
>>
>>20583122
"I don't think so, they spark if I poke them."
Do the soulfire poke again.
>>
>>20583122
"I don't think they're purely cosmetic. They reacted to my soulfire a bit. I'm not sure if they do anything useful, but they certainly do something."
>>
>>20583122
lantern arm heh
>>
"I don't think so." You say. "They react if I poke them."
You uncoil your soulfire serpent again, and it weaves unnaturally through the air, finally poking one of the silver lines. It sparks, but little else seems to happen.
"Perhaps, but I'm afraid I can't help you much more than that. Whatever I see is too. . twisted for me to tell."
"Hmmm, thank you, anyway." You say. "If I come to dislike them, I guess I could just magic the lines away."
"You're welcome." He said. "You may visit any time you feel the need." He said. "But we still have lots of work to do, to recover what we've lost."
Suddenly, the ogre bowed his head, and fell to one knee, his crown of horns pointed toward you.
"Thank you, from all my kind."
>>
>>20583285
"You're very welcome [name here, assuming we know it]."
>>
>>20583285
"Oh my,... I appreciate your gratitude, thank you. I am glad we were able to help you." Motion for him to stand up again. "With whom will we need to speak to establish official diplomatic relations between our kingdoms?"
>>
>>20583285
"Rise, you've no need to bow or thank me. And know that Skerghaulorwhateverhisname died fighting along with whateverthelegendaryfightersnamewas."
>>
>>20583365
woops
>>
>>20583372
fuck.
Also have we seen Grayson since we got up?
>>
>>20583383

Nope. Only Kal, Raz, Leon and Kristoph.
Grayson seems really trouble lately, we should probably sleep on him, for old time's sake.
>>
"Oh my... I appreciate your gratitude, Ghidluk." You say, and motion for him to stand again. "I'm glad we were able to help you."
He stands.
"With whom will we need to speak, to establish official diplomatic relations betwee our kingdoms?"
"It's hard to say, in truth." He said. "Our capital was burned, our seers killed, and the only one that knew what was happening and knew to stay away is now dead. Without the seers. . we don't have anyone or anything that would serve. We need to. . settle things, reclaim and rebuild, before we consider matters of international diplomacy. But when we do, when we have things rebuilt and we speak to or defeat the remaining minotaurs.. . I will give this ring to them. Or, perhaps, we will send a sgragol courier to your land."
>>
>>20583435
"Thank you. If you need any help rebuilding, or fighting the minotaurs, just let me know. I'm sure I'll be able to send some aid your way."

So, should we see how our Kobolds are doing before heading back?
>>
>>20583435
I almost forgot, I think you should know that Skerghaulwhatshisclan died gloriously, fighting alongside lordgreatwarriorwhatshispants
>>
>>20583435
>Or, perhaps, we will send a sgragol courier to your land
Fuck, Ishelda will never deny a request from fluffy. They win.

"Please also contact me if you hear anything else about the Gearworks or Dras'lea."
>>
>>20583465
I don't think they need to know that. It's not even true, the ghost was in the other party.
>>
>>20583435
I almost forgot, contact somebody in the provice the world key is usually kept in. Have them prepare some food and drink for the sgragol that brought the key to Ishelda, that poor creature must be exhausted as hell.
>>
>>20583480
they were still in the same fight on the same side, close enough.
>>
>>20583506
Yes, but fighting with Whargaul was more of his own personal wish fulfillment than something all the other would be awed by. They'd just be like, "Okay. That's pretty cool I guess."
>>
Suddenly, you're reminded of the sgragol that the whistle sent your way. It flew across the sea. . and it must be exhausted. You use your ring to contact High Lord Ursae, and quickly convince him to prepare some oats and food for the poor fuzzy wyvern. He chuckles, and agrees, obviously glad that the World Key is returning.

"Thank you." You say. "If you need any help rebuilding, or fighting the minotaurs, just let me know. I'm sure I'll be able to send some aid your way."
"Of course." He said. "But we already owe you too much, as it is. We need to do the rest on our own. For our pride."
>>
>>20583572
"Well, I can understand that. The offer still stands though."
>>
>>20583591
Not much to add to that.
>>
"Well, I can understand that." You say. "The offer still stands."
"If we require your help, again, I'll use the ring, or send a courier." He said, bowing again. "Good luck, Queen of Arcturus. You and yours will be welcome in this land- I have no doubt of that."

You make your way back out of the tunnel, and back up onto Jormungandr, where the entire crew, both your friends and the soldiers greet you. By the time you get back, the sun has already set; today seemed like a rather short day, but then again, you slept halfway through it.

>Where Go, and Wat Do while going there?
>>
>>20583755
Go to see the kobolds, and have a threesome with Kaliel and Raziel while going there.
>>
>>20583755
>Where go
New Arcturus.
>What do
Contact the kobolds, then build more sexual tension and/or drink moar tea.
>>
>>20583755
I vote for heading home, see if anyone has heard anything about Lewin and if so what we have learned about the Dragon Cult.
>>
>>20583755
Return home, call to see if Lewin has been in contact. We may have some more head kicking to do.
>>
>>20583755
Return to New Arcturus, contact Feegul and inform him of the good news, try to work out Grayson's existential crisis with him, join the Fight Club and beat Jeanne into submission with our newly magical fists - all the while continuing to flirt with and court Kaliel (and maybe also Raziel) at every available opportunity.
>>
>>20583755
I'd say let's take a quick detour to see the kobolds, then head to home.
>>
>>20583755
>Wat Do while going there
Call Marigold, train some more, especially unarmed combat, and then have our fight with Jeanne.
>>
"So." Ell said, cracking his extra-long elven fingers. "Where to next?"
You can't help but get a small smile. "Home." You say, softly.
He grins, and nods, putting his hand on the control crystal, and reattuning the compass. Jormungandr groans. .
And a sgragol leans up over the side and licks the elf, knocking him over, before flying off again.
He grumbles and picks himself up again.

You lift up your ring and close your eyes, contacting Feegul.
<Hey, Boss.> He responded, and you can see his grin, alongside the sloshing of water. <The clan has been rather busy of late- I hear you're shaking things up, to the north.>
>>
>>20583906
<Yeah. We closed the portal and their leader is dead, so things should get much easier from now on. How have you fared?>
>>
>>20583906
<A bit, yes. We managed to close the portal that brought the minotaurs to this world, and their leader was killed. You should be able to free your fellow kobolds much easier, now.>
>>
>>20583906
We shook them all right. Now we're leaving. How're you doing?

>a sgragol leans up over the side and licks the elf, knocking him over, before flying off again
Hey, remember when we had a sgragol? Then you killed him. You monster.
>>
<Yes. We closed the portal and their leader is dead, so things should get much easier from now on. How have you fared?>
<Very well, actually, boss. We've freed many of our kind. Some are. . clanless, sadly, so I've adopted them. We're nearly twice in size, now. We also rescued a fellow clan by defeating their boss, and helped the ogres hold their 'great bridge'. They're writing a song for him now. I'm thinking. . we're going to stay here a bit longer, and help the other clan rebuild things, along with the ogres. You don't mind, do you, boss?>
>>
>>20584002
"But you will return, eventually? You do good work in Arcurus."
>>
>>20584002
<Of course not. I'm sure your clanmates in Arcturus can stay for a while longer.>
>>
>>20584002
<Of course not. As long as you and the clan are alright, I'm happy.>
>>
>>20584002
No, you can stay and help if you want. Just don't stay too long, your wives and children will miss you.
>>
<Of course not. I'm sure your clanmates in New Arcturus can stay for a while longer.> You say. <But will you return, eventually?>
<Yeah, boss. We have enough in the clan to sing the song of 'here and far away' in order to return. And. . . I'm considering having the clan moving to New Arcturus proper. With our new size, I don't think we'll be able to scrounge enough food to survive in Sirius Province.>
>>
>>20584088
<That's probably fine. I'm sure we have more than enough room for them.>
>>
>>20584088
Of course. Arcturus has plenty of land. It will be hard living, however, since most of it is desolate.
>>
>>20584088
<It will be good to have you.>
>>
>>20584088
<I would love to have you around. New Arcturus is still so empty.>
>>
>>20584088
"Makes sense, we can make enough room for your people without any trouble. It'll be good to have you close."

On the way back we should probably visit Sosaria, have tea with the Queen, have Belethor appointed as official ambassador to New Arcturus.
>>
>>20584124
They already have an ambassador in New Arcturus.
>>
>>20584124
>have Belethor appointed

We already have a Sosarian ambassador though. It'd be kind rude to kick him out. Belethor can stay with us regardless.
>>
>>20584136
Right, I'm sure we can think of some official reason for him to stick around.

Also I bet the Queen will love having tea with someone and being able to speak freely.
>>
>>20584124
>On the way back we should probably visit Sosaria, have tea with the Queen, have Belethor appointed as official member of Queen Ishelda's harem.
Fixed.
>>
<I would love to have you around. New Arcturus is still so empty. It'll be good to have you so close.>
<I am glad, then.> Feegul said. <Travel safe, boss.>
<I will.> You tell him, and break the connection. Next, you reach for lewin, but other than a slight amount of buzzing, the connection is still much too far away to contact him- it seems that, while you can communicate to New Arcturus, the ring's range isn't quite far enough.

You relax, and stare up at the stars, laying down on Grayson. Apparently, while you were communicating with Feegul, most of the soldiers had gone below deck. You examine your ring again, and contact Marigold.

You get a loud yawn in response.
<Oh, Ishelda!> She responded, happily.
>>
>>20584214
Marigold! I'm doing okay, sorry about worrying you. My hands look all magical now.
>>
>>20584160
Agreed. I'd love to see how the ring for the queen is working out.
>>
>>20584214
<Marigold, we're coming home!>
>>
>>20584214
<Hi Mar! We're on our way back. We sealed the portal, and things should be calming down somewhat over here. Has anything interesting happened?>
>>
>>20584238
Well I'm betting she likes being able to use the ring, but if it's just her and Ishelda we can turn on an anti-mind magic shield.
>>
>>20584214
<Good morning, dearest cousin. What kept you up?>
>>
>>20584246
We should always have the mind-shield up around her. That power is really dangerous, and even if she doesn't mean to, it's obvious that she still slips up and uses it sometimes.
>>
<Marigold, we're coming home!> You cry, and she cheers. <We sealed the portal, and things should be calming down somewhat over here. Has anything interesting happened? What kept you up?>
<Travel kept me up.> She said. <I just got back to the castle. I've been going down to the farming villages Gehenna set up for the kobolds, and I've been making the soil healthy for them. Soon, we'll be able to produce our own food!>
>>
>>20584309
<That's great! Feegul was considering moving the entire clan to New Arcturus. Do you think the village could support them permanently?>
>>
>>20584309
<That's great, I wouldn't know what to do without you. I've missed you so much.>
>>
<That's great! I wouldn't know what to do without you. I've missed you so much. Feegul was considering moving the entire clan to New Arcturus. Do you think the village could support them permanently?>
<In a few more days of this, yeah!> She responded. <There was a. .minor mutant issue, though, so they're not all gone yet. . but Kell was there, so I was safe. And Ishelda. . I've missed you too. This is the longest we've been apart since. . well, since you found me in Ursae Province, after the cathedral pretty much exploded.>
>>
>>20584372
<Well, I think the only thing we have left to do before heading home is stop in Sosaria and drop off Belethor and his soldiers.>
>>
>>20584372
<I know. Waking up after a slumber party without you just isn't the same.>
>>
>>20584372
I'm glad you're safe. Thank Kell for me.

I'll be back soon, though sadly I might have to head the other direction depending on what Lewin digs up over there.

I'm planning on stopping in Sosaria on the way back, have tea with the queen, that sort of thing.

>>20584404
We might be able to keep Belethor with us, I'd prefer that, he's a nice guy and remarkably competent.
>>
>>20584422
I'm not really a fan of him, but I'm sure we could convice his parents to send him and his parents with us when we're dealing with the other continent.
>>
>>20584404

or maybe we could ask them to come you know, for a diplomatic royal Visit and all...

(we still have to deal with the wyrm cult)
>>
>>20584372
<Why is it that as soon as we split up this relationship stuff started? It's just getting more and more tricky. What do you do when somebody climbs on top of you and licks their lips?>
>>
>>20584422
>>20584440
Maybe, but we have no reason to believe that he will be coming with us. Visiting friendly countries is a Thing for royalty to do however, so it wouldn't be that weird.
>>
>>20584457
HAHAHAHA OH GOD THIS
>>
>>20584457
Good thing Marigold is a healer, otherwise the poor servants near her will be permanently deafened from the squee.
>>
>>20584457
>>20584489
If the ring vibrated intensely just from us telling her someone was potentially interested?
I think it might just shatter if we say this.

So thirded I suppose.
>>
<I'm glad you're safe. Thank Kell for me.> You say. <I'll be back soon, but the only thing we have left to do before heading home is stop in Sosaria.>
<Well, I hope you travel safely. Scribe kept telling me about sea serpents in the ocean and now I'm a bit worried.> She said.
You sigh. <Why is it, that as soon as we split up, this relationship stuff started? It's just getting more and more tricky.>
<. .What happened?> She asked, suddenly wary.
<What do you do when somebody climbs on top of you and licks their lips?>
<I.. uh.. Wh-what exactly happened?> She asked. <Because if they were going to do something without your permission. . you use sorcery on them to get them off of you. That. . that kind of thing just isn't right.>
>>
>>20584517
"W-well they didn't have explicit permission, but...it wasn't...unwelcome. And it was interrupted before anything else happened."
>>
>>20584517
Make sure none of the other rings are listening in.
<Well, Kaliel baked cookies for me, hugged me because I just woke up after being hurt, and then did what I told you just now. But Raziel interrupted before anything else happened.>
>>
>>20584517
"I-I didn't really mind. I knew I could have gotten her off, and she wouldn't have done anything unwanted."

<I-I didn't really mind.> You say, your cheeks burning- You're glad you upgraded the rings so that nobody else can listen in. <Kaliel baked cookies for me, hugged me because I just woke up after being hurt, and then did what I told you just now. But Raziel interrupted before anything else happened. I. . knew I could have gotten her off, and she wouldn't have done anything unwanted.>
<Well, uh. . . It sounds like she. . knew what she was doing.> She said. <Just. . .uh, let her. . take the lead.>
For some reason, you get the strong feeling that Marigold was hiding something from you.

>>
<Is something wrong?>
<Well. . .when we talked on the ring, and Kaliel was asking me questions. . I told her how much you liked sweets.> Marigold said. <I think I know why she made cookies for you.>
>>
>>20584643
<But I... I don't know. I shouldn't let her when we're just friends, should I? She didn't really give me time to think.>

<What's wrong with making me sweets because I like sweets? I like it when people give me sweets.>

You giggle. <That would explain why she used ten times the normal amount of sugar.>
Marigold giggled back.
<Well, you hardly gave away any state secrets there, Mar. Besides, I don't mind that you told her things about me.>
<Okay, I'm glad.> Marigold said. <I was. . kind of worried that you did mind.>
<Marigold, she already told me that she liked me, she hasn't tried to hide it. Is there something else to it?>
<I don't *think* so.> She said, sighing. <It's strange though- she asked me in ways like she wanted to keep her questions secret, and then she tells you how she feels. . I guess I just don't know her well enough.>
>>
>>20584908
<We must definitely change that. I'd suggest a big slumber party, you, Raziel, Kiyara, Jeanne -Fellwind's girfriend, Kaliel and me. I'm sure it will be lots of fun.>
>>
>>20584908
She's an odd one, and about as confused by romantic feelings as I am. Maybe she's shy or she doesn't want me to find out these things from you or she she wants it to look like she's doing this on her own and doesn't need help.

We'll have a slumber party for all us girls when we get back.
>>
>>20584908
<I think she told me before she asked you the questions, which is even weirder.>
>>
<I think she told me before she even asked you the questions, which is even weirder.> You say. <But we must definitely change that. I suggest a big slumber party. You, Raziel, Kiyara, Jeanne- Fellwind's girlfriend, Kaliel, and me. I'm sure it will be lots of fun.>
<Don't forget the girl that Treechild keeps complaining about.> Marigold said. <The one the adventuring party rescued from that Great Wyrm people. We could probably take her out of Treechild's hair.>
>>
>>20585014
Is the adventuring party back? What did they find?
>>
>>20585014
<Of course. Naturally, Treechild will have to attend as well. Could you tell me anything about that girl? Lewin is still too far away from my current position.>
>>
>>20585014
<What girl? I don't think you ever told me about her.>
>>
<Is the adventuring party back?>
<No, but they're on the ocean now.> Marigold said. <I spent all day today talking to Treechild through Lewin's ring.>
<What girl? I don't think you ever told me about her. Could you tell me anything about that girl?>
<Well. . Treechild didn't elaborate much, but her name is. . I don't remember. But she isn't human, and apparently very annoying. She was going to be sacrificed, and Lewin couldn't leave her alone, so the party broke her out, and they're bringing her back with them.>
>>
>>20585105
I love meeting new friends, we'll drink tea and have slumber parties and do each other's hair.
>>
>>20585152

Oh Mar, I so miss doing you.

>>20585105
<That's understandable. I couldn't idly stand by while somebody's sacrificed.>
>>
<I love meeting new friends.> You say. <We'll drink tea, and have slumber parties, and do eachother's hair...>
Marigold giggled, and the two of you spoke more, as you relaxed on Grayson's sleeping form.
Next thing you knew. . she were asleep, your ring buzzing softly.
>>
>>20585105
Well I hope she likes tea.
>>
>>20585279
Time to train, young queen.
>>
>>20585279
Scritch Grayson behind the ears, let Marigold sleep some.

Find Belethor, ask him about his mother's favorite type of tea while we spar.
>>
>>20585279
Use magic through the rings to tuck her into bed.

We did this enchantment for a reason.
>>
>>20585279
Well, hang up. We should probably call Sosaria to let them know we're coming but tomorrow not in the middle of the night. Just go to sleep.
>>
>>20585323
That's actually a neat idea. Seconded.
>>
Expending a small amount of magic, you reach through the ring. . and tuck her into bed, before breaking off the connection.
You climb up off of Grayson, who simply rolls over and goes back to sleep, and you walk toward Belethor.
"Ishelda." He said, smiling pleasantly. "Glad to see you awake. We're returning to Sosaria, correct? I have to admit. . I'm rather homesick."
>>
>>20585447
"Hmmm, I can understand that. I often miss my home as well, despite all the friends I made here. Say, would you be interested in sparring a bit?"
>>
>>20585447
I was hoping you would continue to accompany me. I have to go even further east, and your skills would be of great use to me.

And you have not met marigold yet.

We should set them up.
>>
>>20585447
We're stopping by Sosaria on the way back, I was in a bit of a hurry last time so I was unable to have tea with your mother, so I absolutely must have some with her now. I would enjoy you continuing to accompany me, allowing me to show you my Kingdom but I would not keep you from your home if that's where you wanted to stay.

Would you care to spar? I think it'd be a good way for me to see if I'm recovering properly.
>>
"Hmm, I can understand that." You say. "I often miss my home as well, despite all the friends I made here. Say, would you be interested in sparring a bit?"
"Well, it is rather late. . . But very well." He said.

Quickly, your assorted friends moved out of the way, opening up a clear spot for a proper spar, while Belethor drew a simple shortsword out of his weapon chest, twirling it in his hand.
"We can begin anytime, Ishelda." He said, and bowed. "Good luck."

>Roll 1d100. Taking first roll
>>
rolled 51 = 51

>>20585619
Well, let's see how this goes.
>>
>>20585630
Probably not good enough. We lost badly to Leon and Leon lost badly to Belethor.
>>
rolled 24 = 24

>>20585619
Use our new magic fingers!
>>
>>20585652
We needed a 60 to beat Leon, and we rolled an 8, I think. So I guess even if we lose, it won't be as humiliating.

And we've seen Belethor fight before, so I guess a smart girl like Ishelda is at least a bit prepared for her enemy this time.
>>
>>20585718
I'm hoping our styles match up better this time as well, since were all dancy, and belethor is all spinny.
>>
rolled 92 = 92

Rolling for creating Ishelda benefitting magic good luck field since Belethor suggested it...
>>
Quickly, you dive forward, drawing Rikar, and bringing it forward. Belethor parries, and takes the blade in both hands as he swings toward you. What results is a long minute of trading blows, blade sparking against blade, as you dance around him, and as he twirls his sword strangely. Neither of you gain much of an advantage over the other. Belethor fakes a hole in his guard as he tries to make it look like he overextended himself, but you notice it, and don't fall for it. Your guard is perfect. . but so is his. For the longest few minutes, the two of you hack frantically at one another, doing a savage dance as the two of you danced around one another, like two spinning tops, clashing against one another and bringing forth sparks.

Panting, he fell back, and twirled the blade in hand before stepping forward again, holding the shortsword underhanded. You were unused to the style, as he parried your own blows, slowly weaving around you, ceasing to attack at all. He looked. . .thoughtful. Finally, he jabbed his hand toward you, the underhanded shortsword twisting in his palm, culminating in an attack that looked, to your trained eye, like a thrust, but acted like a slash. Instinctively, you step back, parrying it despite the strangeness of the attack-

And then, while you were otherwise distracted, he kicked you in the knee. You hissed, and he knocked Rikar out of the way, putting the edge of his blade against the side of your throat with a quick jab. A few inches to the left, and he'd have placed it directly through your throat.

Belethor pulled his blade back, and started breathing deeply, wiping his brow. He didn't say anything.
>>
>>20585816
Time for a comeback with that 92 here >>20585801
>>
>>20585816
"That was wonderful Belethor. You'll have to teach me how you do the twirling of the blade that you do so often, I think I could learn a lot from that, integrate it into my fighting style."
>>
>>20585816
"Hmmm, I guess I need to focus more on attacking my enemy with more than my sword and my magic.
A very interesting fight, thanks Belethor."
>>
>>20585816
Bah, I keep losing to boys!

Hopefully we can beat Jeanne because she's a girl.
>>
"I guess I need to focus more on attacking my enemy with more than my sword and my magic." You say, as Fellwind examines your knee- Other than the way it still hurts, it doesn't seem damaged. "A very interesting fight, thanks Belethor."
"No problem, Ishelda." He said, giving you a grin. "You just need to keep an eye on everything, not just the enemy's blade. If you'd leaned a little to the side. I would have missed my kick, and you could have bowled me over, easily."
He bowed again, and made his way back to the balcony, looking down to the ocean.

You huff.
"What's wrong?" Raziel asked.
"Bah, I keep losing to boys." You say. "Hopefully I can beat Jeanne, because she's a girl."
Her lips quirked. "Well, if your knee's okay, we can set that up, so that Fellwind will owe me some silver."
>>
>>20586037
It's fine, it's not like I was duelling Redglare.
>>
>>20586037
"Give me a day to recuperate and another day to prepare. I should be ready to win you some money then."
>>
>>20586037
I could beat them, but it'd be unfair if I started throwing magic around in spars, it's against the rules to have the floor eat them.

Get the fight set up and find Jeanne, it's time for Boxing Queen!
>>
rolled 64 = 64

>>20586037
First we need to hulk out a bit. Rolling to shapeshift us some muscles, so we don't lose instantly.
>>
>>20586037
"Well my knee is fine."
Grin
"Let's go get punchy."
>>
>>20586112
That's cheating. And we're already pretty fit. Ishelda's been training a lot.
>>
>>20586112
That's cheating. We don't cheat in this sort of thing.

Also Ishelda is already fit as hell.
>>
I'm going to bet we take a single punch before going down.

Three internets, any takers?
>>
>>20586112
Let's not do that. We can beat pretty much everybody on the ship with magic.
>>
>>20586112
>Hulk out a bit
>Not going full Dire Ishelda
>>
>>20586150
We can beat absolutely everyone on the ship with magic. Even Kristoph, since his anti-magic doesn't stop us from transforming into a warform, and we've beaten him without magic before anyways.
>>
"Well, my knee is fine." You say, and grin. "I could have beat them.. but it'd be unfair if I started throwing magic around in spars. It's against the rules to have the floor eat them."
"Once we get to Sosaria, you can probably duel Leon with magic, on the ground." Raziel said. "And then have the floor eat him. He has magic too, so it wouldn't be unfair."

You make your way belowdeck, and stop off in your cabin to put away your armor and Rikar, before going even further belowdeck, where several soldiers are leaning up against the walls, chattering and chuckling. A few go silent when you walk in, trying to be respectful at first, but when they see that you're not acting as either queen or captain, they continue talking to one another.
Fellwind grinned at Raziel, and she grinned back.
"Is Jeanne ready?" Raziel asked.
"Indeed." Fellwind responded, and nodded his head behind him, where Jeanne was wrapping cloth around her hands. "Is Ishelda?"
Raziel looked at you, and raised an eyebrow.
And Jeanne tossed you some cloth.
"Wrap that around your hands- it keeps your knuckles from getting split open." She said, grinning.
You do so, the silver lines on your arms glowing *through* the cloth. Taking a look at your handiwork, you nod.
"Yep, she's ready." Raziel responded.
"Anytime, then." Jeanne said, raising her hands.

>Roll 1d100. Taking first only. whee!

>>20586259
I'd think we'd need a better roll to block EVERY punch. She'll still get a few in.
>>
>>20586280
>implying we didn't need at least a 95 to not be punched in the face.
>>
"Hey, Jeanne." You say, tying up your hair. "Have you ever punched a queen? Sadly, you still aren't going to have punched one by the end of today."
"Oh?" She asked, and grinned. Before you realized it, she already jabbed toward your face. You hardly tilt out of the way in time, and respond with a punch of your own, which collides against her shoulder. She shrugs it off, and swings again, which you catch on your forearm. It hurts, but that's nothing you can't handle- not after your extensive training with Redglare. You're used to your forearms breaking, not just getting a little bruise.

What ensues is-
Pain bursts into your lungs as she catches you in the solar plexus, causing you to wheeze, and start to collapse, but with an incredible amount of willpower, you stay standing, and right when she pulls her right arm back, you smash your head into hers.

Jeanne collapses, blood oozing from her nose, and a pair of soldiers- both sporting black eyes, it looks- cheer, raising their arms in the air.
Raziel starts clapping, while Fellwind kneels to check on his girlfriend.
>>
>>20586399
Lift one fist into the air in the standard show of victory.

"Who wants to fight the Queen, I'll take any of you on, right here, right now. BRING IT!"

"Woo! You okay Jeanne?"
>>
rolled 69 = 69

>>
>>20586399
"Oh my. I'm terribly sorry."

Would have been nice if we had that roll for the combat...
>>
Can we not be full of ourselves? Nobody likes a sore winner.
>>
"Woo!" You say. "You okay, Jeanne?"
Jeanne starts laughing, and gives you a thumbs up.
"Neber 'etter." She said, as Fellwind started twisting his hands to cast.
"You broke her nose." Fellwind said, and he quickly started to chant a spell.

But you get to work first, focusing your magic. .
A strange, golden mist wafts from your arms, draining from the lines there- which were now golden as well, and the spell leapt from your palm, quickly repairing her nose- almost as good as Marigold would have done. The golden lines continue to blaze with light for a few moments, before returning to their standard silver color, and dimming.
Strangely. . you don't feel tired at all- as if the spell didn't drain your power.
>>
>>20586521
"Well that's new."
>>
>>20586521
WE MUST EXPERIMENT!
>>
>>20586521
Awesome, the silver in our arms might be extra magic reserves or allow us to cast somethings without cost if we're lucky. I don't know.

I think we need to perform SCIENCE on this. Experiment casting some spells, trying to replicate this effect, see if it only works with healing spells, it's not like there's a lack of black eyes to fix up.
>>
>>20586521
Hug Jeanne.
>>
Apologize to fellwind for breaking jeanne's nose, thank tell Jeanne she's an impressive fighter, collect 15 silver from Raz, hear meta-soldier comment on how close we came to blowing the dc.

>>
"Well." You say, and pull Jeanne to her feet- and give her a hug, while you're there. "That's new."

While you try to cast various spells- and succeed, half of the time, your arms refuse to do the same thing they'd just done, as you heal all of the soldiers' bruises. Meanwhile, Raziel and Fellwind were speaking.
"I told you she was superhumanly strong." Raziel said. "Good thing I won, because I don't have thirty silver on me."
"Well, um. . " Fellwind said. "I, uh, don't exactly have thirty silver either."
Jeanne just . .stared at the two of them, then put her hand on her face, sighing.
>>
>>20586620
"Wait you both bet money that you don't have?"
>>
>>20586620
"Care for some tea and cookies, Jeanne?"
>>
>>20586620
"Fellwind, I have the authority to throw you in debtor's prison for failing to pay Raziel. My judgment as queen is that you now owe her a favor.

She was even going to split the profits with me.

Jeanne, would you care to leave the company of these cheapskates who bet with money they don't have and get some post-boxing tea and biscuits?"
>>
>>20586620
That's very irresponsible of you. Now you'll have to work for it~

>>
"That's very irresponsible of you. She was even going to split the profits with me. . . Now you'll have to work for it."
Fellwind sighed, and Raziel chuckled evilly.
"Care for some tea and cookies, Jeanne?"
"Sure!" She responded brightly.
Raziel's grin suddenly grew, and her eyes flashed blue. She had. . an idea.

"Miladies." Fellwind said, bowing low as he served the three of you. He was wearing some kind of suit Raziel had conjured, and Raziel had him serving her and your every whim- which, for now, mostly involved having him serve the three of you tea and cookies.
"Well, he *did* dig his hole. . but then again things would be the other way around if you'd lost." Raziel said.
"I still don't get how you stayed standing after I hit you in the stomach." Jeanne said. "Most guys just collapse and start wheezing. Even one of the hobgoblins did that."
>>
>>20586748
"Well, I train with Redglare, who's a hobgoblin. I'm used to broken bones and missing limbs from sparring."
>>
>>20586748
I'm a Queen and as such my willpower is strong. Also I trained with a Hobgoblin for a few years, learning to fight, broken bones and grievous injuries were part of that. You get used to it after a while.
>>
"My trainer Redglare regularly breaks my bones, so I've had to learn to push through the pain. Even so, I very nearly did collapse. It was a close thing."
>>
"I trained with a hobgoblin for a few years." You say, sipping daintily at your tea. "Broken bones and grevious injuries were part of that. You get used to it after a while."
"Really?" She asked, eyes wide. "There's only a really small group that did that to train their young. You ended up getting a warchief to train you?"
"Redglare's the armsmaster in New Arcturus." Raziel said. "More please."
"Of course, madam." Fellwind responded.
"Redglare? Really? The hobs always said he was the only one that actually enjoyed fighting." Jeanne said. "Probably why he isn't a gardener now, like the rest."
>>
>>20586748
Maybe isheldas babymaker doesn't work or is missing or something.
>>
>>20586854
"I think he enjoys sparring more than actual combat. I'm sure he'd agree to fight you if you asked him."
>>
Hmmm, I'll introduce you when we get back. Just make sure Marigold and Fellwind are both around if you decide to spar with him...
>>
>>20586854
"He's an absolute sweetheart. And he did make me strong so I think I can forgive a few dozen broken ribs.

I can introduce you to him when we get back to New Arcturus.

So it seems you can add Queen to your list of things you've punched, how does that feel?"
>>
>>20586854
"Hmmm, he's an excellent teacher. Although I wouldn't recommend his training unless Marigold is nearby."
>>
>>20586854
He is pretty good. Sometimes I can beat him in sparring, which is part of why I'm so annoyed I keep losing to the boys.
>>
"He's an absolute sweetheart." You say. "And he did make me strong, so I think I can forgive a few. . dozen broken ribs."
"Only a few dozen?" Raziel asked. "Closer to around. . hundreds. I think Marigold kept tally marks on how many bones you've broken, and how many limbs you lost."
Jeanne raised her eyebrows.
"I think he enjoys sparring more than actual combat. I'm sure he'd agree to fight you if you asked him." You say, and she nods.
"Then I might as well come with you." She said. "Rik needs to pay back the other. . twenty-five silver, anyway. Five silver a day?"
Fellwind sighed.
"Anyway, I'd best get to bed." Jeanne said, finishing off her tea. "You two sleep well... and try not to exhaust Rik too much- I need him. For reasons."

She got up, and went to bed. After a few moments in silence, Raziel finished her own tea.
"I think I should head to bed, too. And then summon Skerghaul tomorrow."
>>
>>20587005
"I'll probably go to bed too."
Who else thinks Kali is going to show up?
>>
>>20587005

"Well, if you don't want to stay up..." Accompany her to her room, then kiss her goodnight.
>>
>>20587005
"Sleep well Raz. I'll see you in the morning." Give her a hug and a kiss on the cheek goodnight.

"Rikar, sit down and drink some tea. I like Jeanne, she's a wonderful girl. I'm glad you two found each other. By the by, for what reasons was she referring to earlier?
>>
>>20587069
We already know what reasons. The kind of reasons that Fellwind could only fulfill by being a male human.
>>
>>20587069
Oh come on, even Ishelda isn't THAT clueless.
>>
>>20587092
No, but it could be fun. Ask awkward questions for the luls.
>>
"Sleep well, Raz." You say, and finish off one more biscuit. "I'll see you in the morning."
"Right, then." She said, stretching her wings and arms. She got up, and you quickly gave her a hug and a kiss on the cheek goodnight.
"I'll probably go to bed too." You tell Fellwind, and finish up your tea.
"Goodnight, then, Ishelda." He said. "I suppose I'll have to clean this up. Sleep well."
He bowed, and you made your way back down to your cabin.

You lie in bed. . and almost immediately fall asleep.

You don't hear when Kaliel knocks on your door.
"Ishelda? Can we talk?" You don't hear her ask.
You don't hear her walk back to her cabin a few minutes later.

>like letting a dude (or chick) continue to hug your girlfriend
But... Raziel and Ishelda are both single. In what way is it like that?
>>
>>20587842
Since he's posting on /tg/ I would have to say yes.
>>
>>20587866
Raziel didn't really show much interest. It seemed more like we could have built interest, but she didn't actually have any by default.
And since we haven't been with any of them, it's more like seeing someone your younger sister hug the person you were interested in (Assuming she actually was interested.)
>>
>>20587912
Whoops. That "someone" shouldn't be there.
>>
>>20587887
Ishelda ran away three times, in a row, after being told that a person was interested in her. one of those people continues to show interest.
>Increased, how many times have there been cheek kisses in this story?
Why did Ishelda not freak like last times?

>Although I suppose that she was tired after two spars and was going to bed.
>>
>>20587978
Context man.
And I've been advocating Kaliel, but we're going nice and slow with the waifu thing.
>>
>>20587978
Because it's just a friendly- Yeah, I can't be bothered to argue with the troll this evening. Someone else will probably pick up the slack.
>>
>>20588036
I'd LOVE to argue with the guy who doesn't understand human relationships, I really would. But I'm far too busy having my wisdom teeth pulled out with barbed wire. So sorry.
>>
>>20588177
Your argument would have more weight if I hadn't seen a relationship progress in a very similar way to the Ishelda/Kaliel one.
>>
>>20588201
You misunderstand me good sir, I'm on the side of we're doing just fine with Kaliel the way things are and should continue to progress with them as we have.
Except for maybe the bit about her knocking and us not hearing, but really that was out of our control.
>>
>>20588242
Ah. Then I apologize good sir (Presumably).
>>
>>20587280
>not even a chance to talk?
Nope. Ishelda were asleep by that point.

>>20587397
>Too huggy
A bit, but when consensus is on hugging, Ishelda hugs.

>>20587629
>How big are the continents?
Hard to say how big, exactly, because I have a horrible sense of distance. With the newest, most improved version of Jormungandr, you can travel from New Arcturus to any edge of that continent in twenty four hours.
>What's the population of New Arcturus
Around two thousand to five thousand people. 50% lizardman, 25% human, and 25% assorted. AKA 'not very many'. But people are moving in as the mutants get hunted out, and as Marigold restores life to the wastelands.
>How big was old Arcturus?
Completely massive. it took weeks to travel via carriage from Rowan Duchy (Marigold's home) to the capital, where Ishelda lived. All of the 'known world' were pretty much part of or allied to the kingdom of Arcturus, because of the whole 'led by a sorcerer king' thing. That's why the world's name is essentially 'Arcturus', because the kingdom of was 75-90% of the whole thing.
>Is the world flat or round?
Round, I suppose, but I'm not sure yet. Each world could be a different shape.
>How many digits is the Void Queen's kill count?
Insert cryptic comment here.
>How big is Fellwind's cock?
Big enough to sate Jeanne's needs.

>>Field too long. More answers incoming!
>>
>>20587763
>because of culture because of culture
There's a difference between being unused to love and general friendly affection. For the most part, it's a habit Ishelda got from Marigold, who hugs and kisses on the cheek all the damn time.

>>20587978
>Ishelda ran away
I literally don't recall this. Yeah, she was touchy and stuttering because she was completely unused to romance, but I don't remember her running away. Not arguing your point, but I don't remember this and I'd like to be refreshed.
>cheek kisses
Marigold does it all the time- it's a learned habit.
>Why did Ishelda not freak like last times?
People adapt over time.
Ishelda moreso, probably because she learns through 'protagonist time', which lets a novice swordsman at the start of a book or game become a master who can out-fight the BBEG.
>>
>>20588324
How big are Jeanne's needs?
Why did you kill the fluffy?
>>
>>20588394
Will any fluffy's ever trust us again?
>>
>>20588394
>>20588394
>How big are Jeanne's needs?
Inversely perportionate to her bust size.
>Why did you kill the fluffy?
Same reason I do everything. Either to further the plot, create conflict, or character advancement. I killed the fluffy for those latter two.
also to show off kaliel's zerg/shoggoth 'Passion'

>>20588446
>Will any fluffy's ever trust us again?
They instinctively trust everything, for the most part. So yes!
unless you kill more of them
>>
>>20588516
Why did Kaliel bother going and walking across the ship to knock when she could've just used the ring?
>>
>>20588516
How big is Jeanne's bust?
>>
>>20588588
Somewhere between "no" and "A"
>>
>>20588588
non-existent

>>20588516
"Jeanne." the young queen approached the visibly distressed woman.
"Fellwind... Rikar, had to return to his home planet. He told me to take care of all your needs for him, from now on."

The next day, Marigold had to heal Ishelda's broken pelvis.
>>
>>20588605
I want it exactly, I've got to calulate it all the way back to Fellwind's penis so little errors will compound.
>>
>>20588588
She has Mosquito bites, nothing more.
>>
>>20588571
It isn't actually that far a walk.
Also, the rings, however useful, still seems impersonal when you use it- a face to face conversation is usually preferred.
>>20588588
Mosquito bites.
>>
>>20588649
Ok, so mosquito bites are on average somewhere around 0.2"? So her needs are 1/0.2 = 5"... so Fellwind's dick is actually kind of average? It would be a lot easier if you just answered the questions in the first place.
>>
>>20588694
He never said anything about Fellwind's size correlating, you retarded fuck.
>>
>>20588711
He said Fellwind was big enough for her needs, and her needs were inversely proportional to her bust size.
>>
>>20588731
So, I still don't see any indication of penile size in that.
>>
>>20588751
Other than >micro-penis.
>>
>>20588694
I'm not sure you set up that equation correctly.
>>
>>20588767
Missing constants everywhere.
>>
>>20588751
>How big is Fellwind's cock?
>Big enough to sate Jeanne's needs.
Jeanne's needs are 5". I concluded that his penis was around average which is pretty much the whole area from 5" to 7". Any bigger than that and it would have a qualifier, like "more than big enough to sate her needs" or whatever.
>>
>>20588800
You are operating on several assumptions. First that the value of the constant that is divided by the breast size is 1. Second you are assuming it is the size of a breast instead of being based off of the bust size.

Also her needs do not necessarily refer to size, they could refer to the level of satisfaction received which is tangential to penis size and those two are not necessarily related.
>>
>>20588800
Jeanne's needs can be expressed in more than simple penile size however. For example, what if she needs to be smacked around a little in order to get off? What if she's particularly susceptible to having her ear nibbled? There are just far too many variables for you to state this with any real confidence.
>>
Fellwind could have golden fingers. Or he could be a cunning linguist. His cock might have nothing to do with Jeanne's satisfaction.
>>
>>20588841
Yes. What else am I meant to do? I have very little to go on here. I went with the simplest assumptions and got an answer within expected bounds and that seems fair to me. It could be wildly wrong but until you get more data saying 'oh but you don't really know' doesn't help anything.
>>
>>20588870
That's a point, it was said that Fellwind being a kalak wasn't good enough, maybe it was because of the beak?
>>
>>20588876
But it's just as dangerous to act on incorrect assumptions! What if Jeanne is built like a golf bag?! Five inches would be nothing!
>>
>>20588891
He was a babby girl kalak at the time. Maybe babby girl kalak don't have the proper manual dexterity to do what she needs.
>>
>>20588876
All we know is that Fellwind is capable of satisfying her needs. Her bust size is small therefore her needs are great. Ergo Fellwind is extremely good in bed for some reason or another.
>>
>>20588922
Or her needs are easy to satisfy, but she has lots of them.
>>
>>20588863
>>20588870
The question was "how big is his cock" and the answer was "big enough for her needs". Non-cock needs were implicitly excluded.

>>20588891
Or because he doesn't have a cock or usable fingers or tongue and she's not into xenopedophillia.

>>20588902
I'm not acting on them. If Ishelda needs to shapeshift herself a cock to satisfy Jeanne at some point I will make sure to obtain more reliable data beforehand.
>>
>>20588962
Then the only answer you can reasonably give is "not enough data".
>>
>>20589010
If I was being reasonable I wouldn't be trying to calculate a fictional character's cock size from vague author comments in the first place you retard.
>>
If you're still there Exa:
Does Jeanne have freckles? If so, does she only have them on her face or does she have them all over her body?
This is important to know because of reasons.
>>
>>20589192
Holy shit that is important I can't believe we never asked that before.
>>
>>20589192
She does have freckles- a lot of them, and they're all over her body.

More questions of the Highest Importance:

- You mentioned Ishelda has a scottish accent, what other accents do the notable characters have?
- The current architectural style of New Arcturus is primarily Ogrish out of the ruins right now, but what style are the new buildings being built in?
- Would the elves allow a weave tower to be built in New Arcturus and linked to the weave if we built it ourselves? Would it stretch far enough?
>>
>>20589542
I think we were planning on a weave nexus point thing, to open up trade. Not sure if it actually happened over the timeskip though
>>
>>20589542
>Accents
Well, Marigold's accent is cottish as well, but it's nowhere near as thick an accent as Ishelda's.
Elves have primarily british accents, and lizardmen speech is chock full of sibilants.
The kalak don't have a real-world version of their accents, mostly because their first language was primarily made up of birdsong, so there's a bit of that as they speak, although at times they can speak so quickly that they stumble over their words.
I haven't decided on much else other than this.
>New Arcturus
Mostly, the newest buildings are little more than grain silos or log cabins- For the most part, Raziel's undead are set to repair the ogrish domes.
>Weave tower
It would stretch far enough, but there needs to be enough fertile land to grow the Galadriel's Light, you need a massive amount of orichalum, and the elves aren't too keen on stretching the weave.
>>
>>20589819
Did Ishelda have some kinda of pet back home? Or her own, personal, horse?
>>
>>20589865
Aside from the zergling, you mean?
>>
>>20589887
Ah, sorry. Meant Arcturus with 'back home'.
>>
>>20589865
She had a horse, and a white cat that followed her around, but they weren't exactly pets- the horse she never really rode after learning how, but she did visit him to pet his mane and feed him sugar cubes. Until the demons sieged Arcturus, then it was chopped up for extra food when the rations ran out. The cat just. . vanished, one day.
>>
>>20589914
Was Ishelda upset about the horse?
>>
>>20590057
Nope, but she was also upset about Henrietta dying, as well as pretty much half the entire world dying, and by that point she'd already been training with the militia for a week. There were a lot of bad things happening, so she didn't focus much on the horse.
>>
>>20589914
Man, I was feeling all good, we've just got our hands back, got a new magic trick, closed a portal and only one person died, which is pretty amazing, and then you're all like. "Oh and also, EVERYTHING YOU KNEW AS A CHILD HAS DIED A HORRIBLE DEATH."
>>
- Do horses exist? I don't recall you ever mentioning them.
- Are there plans to plant forests in/around new Arcuturs as a non-imported lumber source? If so, what species of tree?
- Weren't we going to revive one of the Kalak that got killed? What ever happened to that plan?

GUESS WE KNOW WHAT TO CRY ABOUT IN KALIEL'S ARMS ABOUT WHEN SHE'S NUZZLING US NEXT TIME

Also, is the girl Lewin saved Eidolon? It's fucking Eidolon isn't it?
>>
>>20590131
It's still on our to do list, but we're planning on doing that once we get back home and have time and space to set up the ritual, and maybe try fishing around where we killed him for something to use as a focus for the totem.

We're not in a huge hurry, he's been dead for 2 years, he can wait another week.
>>
>>20590125
Marigold didn't. But yeah, everyone and everything else died. That's what happens when 'Suddenly Demons'
>>
>>20590144
No, it's the bastard love child of Gareth, Eidolon, Void Queen, and the Great Wyrm. None of them are even quite sure how that happened, but they are sure it's Ishelda's worst fucking nightmare, and also the only being in the world more mary sue than her.
>>
>>20590143
Yeah, it's just a bit of a grim reminder, that's all.
>>
>>20590125

>>
>>20590144
It's EIDOLON.
actually it's the newest possibly-party-member! Also intended to be a love interest, but I'm thinking 'fuck that' because you've all pretty much already chosen.
>>
>>20590196
I would assume Ishelda has very, very, very large bed.
>>
>>20590144
Nah, it's Dave.
>>
Hey Exa, how come such an ecksboxhueg empire got completely buttfucked by demons anyway? This universe lasted decades with the demon menace, and less than half the world was even aware, IIRC. Did they hey multiple portals in Arcturus or something?
>>
>>20590196
Well I'd like Kaliel to have competition, but you'd need to try REALLY hard to get anyone close.
>>
>>20590183
Sometimes that sort of shit happens. Like, you spent the last three and a half years building emotional and mental barriers about this horribly depressing THING in your life, and you thought you were okay. You thought you were past it and living your life.
And then something happens. Maybe it was a dream, or a particular smell, or something else that triggered your mind in just the right way. And suddenly it's as if those walls were bypassed as if they had never really been there in the first place, and you just break down crying over something that happened years ago.

Sometimes that happens.
>>
>>20590214
Arcturus had anywhere from dozens to hundreds of portals all over their everything. This world had forewarning (Yay seers!) and they took steps to limit the demons.
>>
>>20590196
To be honest, if Jeanne had been an option I would have supported pursing her instead of Kaliel&Raziel.
>>
>>20590238
Arcturus was also almost completely lacking in magic. Not no-magic, but it was definitely low-magic
>>
>>20590232
I'm voting that we leave it until we get to fighting the VQ, then we can use the emotional wreckage to fling various chunks of inter-realm space at her face.

>Pic is a rough version of Ishelda's, Marigold's, and Henrietta's family trees.
>>
>>20590356
See, now I'm even more confused. How can Marigold still be set against cousincest with Ishelda when her own parents were even more closely related?
>>
>>20590408
Pretty sure Marigold was just teasing.
>>
>>20590408
It's actually mostly the fact that Marigold's straight. If Ishelda paraded around in the form of a young man, Marigold might be a little (who are we kidding, I mean a lot) more interested.
She was teasing about the 'cousin' thing.
>>
>>20590457
She's not yet gay for Ishelda. Damn, we'll have to wrok hard on her.
>>
>>20590457
So... Ishelda needs to shapeshift into a man more often?

What shall our Super Secret disguise name be this time?

Isheldo?
>>
I never would have thought I'd miss the "no romance and that's final" from the pre-timeskip threads.

Well, I do now.
>>
Here's a question; why have we not taken the time to inspect that damn gear the Void Queen gave us, or tell anyone about it? For all we know she has the Gearworks. Or part of it. Or maybe she just gave it to us for some reason or another. I'm all for these breaks for character development, but Ishelda needs to take some time to herself for crimmeny's sake.
>>
>>20590492
There will be far less of it when we finally get Kaliel into bed.

Then it'll just be me and the smut I'm writing.
>>
>>20590552
Because nobody suggested it, really.
>>
>>20590553
The funny thing is that I find Kal the least believable romance option. You guys and your silly metagaming.
>>
>>20590606
How so? Kal and Ishy have the most in common right now. They've also got good (albeit somewhat awkward) chemistry.
>>
>>20590606
Guilty as charged, people seem to like her and she's probably unproblematic when it comes to going after Raziel.
So I'm fine with it.
>>
>>20590606
In a counter-metagame sense, Kaliel is going to be the most entertaining when we dump her for someone prettier. And it'll probably hurt more when she dies too.
>>
>>20590627
I think Kaliel and Ishelda make really good friends. It's the lovers part I don't like. Sure she likes Ishy, but I'm not seeing how Ishelda would like her romantically. I've been getting the "little sister" vibe from her more than anything.
>>
>>20590707
Gonna step in on this one guys, I kinda agree on the whole, Kal doesn't seem like a natural choice for Ishy. I mean yeah, they both have a uniqueness that sets them apart, but Kal would have fallen the [REDACTED] VOID QUEEN VERSION OF KAL [REDACTED] route if it wasn't for Ishy. That sets Ishy apart from her enough in my opinion for Ishy to be a little meh about the romance with her. Like she sees how much stronger of a person she is than Kal in the sense that we didn't have anything but Grayson really to keep us from going that path. Damn him and his fluffyness. That being said, I'm still holding out for a person that is as strong as Ishelda as a person, will wise, for a romance option. This really leaves just Leon and Belethor left. We need to find out more about them
>>
>>20591004
I don't think it's so much a particular strength of Kal's so much as it is a particular weakness of Ishelda's. I mean, look at all those bad endings. Every single one occurred because when Ishelda came into contact with something that bypassed her conscious mind, it took over her being completely.

Looking for someone else who has that particular combination of strong in magic, weak in resistance means your ONLY romantic option is Void Queen. Which I personally am I against for overarching narrative reasons.
>>
>>20591100
Actually I take that back, I briefly forgot the cloak-singularity BADEND. But that one was very silly.
>>
>>20591100
But, almost everyone of those bad ends were just Exabyte being funny........
>>
>>20591184
>>20591111
>>20591100
The bad ends, the neutral ends, the good ends both are and aren't and never were and always were canon. They're nebulous, and the more serious ones might show you a little insight on the characters involved, but the silly ones are completely batshit insane and show you nothing. The problem is, it's hard to tell which is which sometimes, but none of them are truly canon.
>>
>>20591220
Fair enough, but would you also say it's accurate that Ishelda is particularly susceptible to being influenced?
>>
>>20591228
Ishelda's mind has always been a little wobbly when it comes down to it, as a side-effect of three things.
Sorcery itself is an ability to warp reality, but it's all based on intuition. You have to follow and obey that intuition in order to get something done- it's similar to kalak Passion, in a way. She has to obey her intuition without a second thought- so anything that influences her similarly, her first instinct is to obey it because she's 'trained' herself that way.
Then there's the fact that everything and everything she loved pretty much died, as far as she knew, and her first response was to repress everything ever, which is pretty psychologically damaging- although with Marigold's and Grayson's assistance, she's been getting better.
Finally, there's the fact that /tg/ are the ones being the little girl, and controlling her mind. That has no actual non-meta difference, but it's still something to note.
>>
>>20591287
So if you think about sorcery too much it doesn't work?
>>
>>20591322
You can think about sorcery as much as you want. You can analyze it, you can examine it, you can write down everything you feel and think while using it, as long as you still follow your intuition. You can think about it, yes, but you have to manipulate your inner 'chi', or whatever it is, exactly how you feel you're supposed to. It's all based on instinct, but that doesn't mean you can't think about it while you're casting.
>>
>>20590480
Dashile, obviously.
