Yet another installment, newcomers welcome.

Varien approaches the flame being. He grabs a robe from one of the acolytes and applies the drenched wool to his body. Our servants clear a path for the grotesque to follow, and soon he stands atop the temple. Varien begins to cast spells at the atronoch, how simply absorbes them. When the ginat undead sees this, he leaps down the hill, landing with suck force that the ground cracks under his weight. The flame creature has little time to prepare itself before the large hulk simply falls on top of it. Sizzling can be heard, and when the grotesque stands once more, all that remains of the atronoch is a seared spot on it's stomach. The gates fall in on themselves after several bashes by the grotesque. The Undead pour through and the priests yield just as the last of their guards are defeated. They have their king brought forth, who is sick with the plague. Varien kills him with his staff and the body is risen to serve like the rest of the undead. Varien marches to briefly sit atop the old kings throne. The city is still filled with sounds of violence, but the battle is won. The priests are chained and brought before the lich. They all pledge alliegance, but when VArien commands them to kill one of there fellows to join, only a few rise to the challenge. Gains (one acid tearer, 5 acolytes.)
IMPORTANT: I'll be adding up the total gains and losses after the fighting has ceased.

Yesss... So what are our options here?

For this turn I say.

Mop up the remaining resistance around the city, putting emphasis on turning as many as possible into undead. If we are able keep humans in their armor, they'll make more effective undead servants.

k, i'll post the stats and then get to work on that. should take a minute or two because i don't have the undead mojo flowing yet.

Ok, First we need to search their amories and labs, find anything that could possibly improve our technology.

Gather up 10% of the survivors, burn them as an offering to the Sisters
>>
A small contingent of rotting zombies are left to guard the city center while the fighting is quelled through out Nazzi. When the last of the undead are forming up down the narrow streets and grouped into the square they are counted by the acolytes. Losses: 534 rotting zombies, 21 plague rats, 5 skeletal horrors, 2 archers, 6 ghouls, a reaver, 2 pale zombies. GAINS: 677 rotting zombies, 82 plague rats, 12 reavers, 5 skeletal horses. Only a hand full or horses were scavenged, and these had been recently eaten for food. Few survivors were found, as the undead hadn't planned on taking prisoners, but 36 adults and 15 children were brought un harmed before the dark lord. 10 adults and 5 children were burned in a pyre of the driest wood available. The city was scoured, and fine glass objects were found. We could learn how to fashion such crafts, but we lack the fine grains of sand they seem to be blown from. The only question that remains before turning wwest is what to do about the city. The rain has stopped but the buildings are still drenched with rain.

How many turtles do we have?
>>
>>20641017
Hm, i hadn't been keeping track of them. Logically we would have left them in the chasm along with the scorpions to be picked up on our return trip as we make our way west. thanks for reminding me.
>>
>>20640937

I guess our chasm is a better base than the city. But maybe we can make it a necropolis turn the prisoners into ghouls and let them breed in the city.
>>
>>20641054
I presume you missed last thread. We're on an exodus because three shadowy goddesses came and told us to do different things. They were the celtic queens of war and we chose one who told us to travel west. you can find it here http://suptg.thisisnotatrueending.com/archive.html?tags=Spriggan
>>
We need to convert the rotting zombies to more deathknights, horrors, siege grotesques, and random things we make when we get bored
>>
A flesh works is set up in the town square, and bodies are torn and molded by the acolytes. They use up 187 zombies, but they are able to weave 6 abominations and 67 skeletal horrors. The rest are used to repair damage to our remainging troops. The clock given to us by morrgian stirkes a chime. This signals that we have only 8 months to leave before whatever threat s destined to plague the wastes arrives. The main armoury of the horn people is found. It will take time to melt it down into ingots and other useful forms.

Do you plan to continue the coral giants/frog people civ. game?
>>
>>20641160
yes, i'll probably do a thread for them next time if we manage to make some progress in this one.

Get all the turtles and scorpions we have and kill half to make Scortles that are gargoyles with pincers and stingers. Kill only the smallest ones so we can breed giant turtles
>>
>>20641178

Maybe we should turn Tyrell into a lich before doing our exodus. About the city scavenger anything of valuable and leave it and empty tomb. But make sure to erase any clue of our passing let it be an enigma for the next person to find it.

Evening gents.

The nagas are still to our north, correct? What's our diplomatic status with them? If it's "friendly" we should collect them before heading west.
>>
The naga acolyte leads a large party of undead ahead of the main group while the undead masses prepare to march once again. More wagons and carts are salvaged and modified while a second forge wagon is contructed. The plate and mail of the horn men are piled into some unused wagons while the siege grotesque is examined. It appears that the lightning strike only improved its intelligence, though that is 1 up from zero. The beast is affixed with a mild case of split personality disorder. The phases are largely unnoticeable, though it changes voice and accent slightly when ever one occurs. The main group is expected to be ready to depart soon.
>>
>>20641252
It's mutually beneficial, would you send a group ahead to confront them, or detour the main pack?

Send our Naga Acolyte ahead (with a group of our troops) with tidings of the coming plague and offer the nagas asylum within our growing horde.
>>
F two new types of undead ideas best part is they should be able to help us with the moving bit.

bone shards and left over bones that are not enough to make up something else are gathered togethered and animated into a single entity. Creating a animated pile of whirling bone capable of surrounding targets flaying them alive.
second type is a made up of left over bits and pieces of fleshy bits. Creating a mound of flesh capable of lifting itselfs and slamming down onto opponents(hm jelly) or just rolling right over them.

make wonder teams due to their focus. is capable of absorbing the flesh or bone recycling and repairing them later depositing raw flesh or bone for use.
>>
>>20641318
basicly overgrown recyclers of flesh or bone capable of combining and fusing different parts to make whole new ones that we can actually use just make sure to feed them the scraps of unused bone or flesh. Yet still capable of giving horrifically painful end to the living and having a side function.

send a division of undead up to the naga and warn them telling them they can come with us if they so wish do the same thing with the mintaurs or more precisely have our death knight finish up and take them over so we can take them with us. really don't wanna give up that potential people.
>>
The main force begins to move out towards the west gate of the city, leving it ruined and derelect. The horn mans armor is mostly bronze, so it is gicen to some of the ghouls whose armor was broken in the fighting. The broken iron is smelted back into ingots for the road, and no word has been heard from the nagas party sent ahead. Just as Varien exits the gate, he is over come with a painful head ache. A Black cloud materializes over him, and small purple seeds rain down. They do not seem harmful, though the lich is picking them out of his crown and chest piece for hours to come. The seeds are collected and stored in a linen bag, there is no time set to counting them. The horde should return to the chasm soon enough, where they can deal with the animals and supplies they left there. Black blood still lies in his make shift tome, having eaten all of the kobold tunnelers. He will have to dig to the sruface soon or he may become to weak to do it himself, and slip into stasis. The acolytes continue their expirements even as the caravan begins to move, molding flesh and bone into independant undead. The bits left over form blobs and piles of matter, but they are unable to move on their own. If a dark magic user puts their focus into these bags of left overs, they can be thrown a tossed about. A useful tool, no doubt.

Research ways to give certain undead more autonomous thought. During the siege, it seemed like we lacked a mid-level command structure.
>>
Spells are practiced and refined through out the day as the caravan makes its' approach on the chasm. It seems as though shades can be charged with nagic to think and communicate telepathically with their fellow undead. This effect only lasts for a few hours, and some times fails at random times. When the column finds the chasm, it is clear that the naga and her escorts already re-supplied and moved on. The smaller turtles are slaughtered, and the smae is done for all but 2 of the scorpions. The two largest are chained to Variens wagon, and shall march along side him. The undead animals are quickly drafted together to form what is called a "scortle." These beasts display alot of weapons at the front, though they ar fairly vulnerable from the sides and behind. The chasm is being stripped of all supplies, and a reaver is dispatched to find our naga and guide them back to our current position as we march to the mountains. Mean while, black blood decides to tunnnel to the surface. It is grueling work, and when it is completed he is torn and rugged. The army seems to have left, with long tracks of hoof marks in the red sand.
