One and a half years ago, you were a Magical Girl.

Back then, however, you were beginning to doubt if that title still applied to you.

Throwing up black, clotted blood whenever you so much as transformed kind of puts the entire Magical thing up for debate, really.

Not to mention turning into an actual Witch a few months back. A sordid affair that had you coming to in the middle of a massacre, sitting upon a mountain of severed heads. Sitting there like a king upon his...classy king chair, for kings. Made of severed heads. The concept is lost to you at the moment, but the point was, somehow, you turned back, to the surprise of everyone including yourself.

As lucky as you had felt then, you sure do not feel as lucky now.
>>
>>20645072

You are Valnikov Kharn, the current Warmaster of the 9th Incubator. You've just begun your day giving the Warmaster of the 14th Incubator a toe-curling orgasm. She was very happy about it, smiling that very beautiful smile she should really show more often. You could barely recognize her from the huffy young woman in the rather flashy crimson dress from last night, loudly lecturing anyone who would even dare strike up conversation with her.

In fact, she had been so annoying that you had almost passed on the chance to introduce yourself to her, even with your well-known fetish with blondes. You were still quite sore over Tomoe Mami, back then, and all you wanted to do was maybe drink a little bit and just laze around in bed. Malal had to literally drag you from your sulking chair to where Nero was, and told the blonde young woman that you had a few views of your own regarding the proliferance of fraternization of Magical Girls between Officios.

The rest, as they say, is history. And Malal was right, it did make you feel a little better. And Nero was a nice girl, all in all. She even tasted right.

You should thank Malal for this, like you should thank her for a lot of other things. A whole lot of other things that she had gone beyond simply being an aide for.

You're not sure where you would be without your aide--no, your friend.

Wherever it was, it would be in a very bad place.
>>
>>20645077

With that said, you are now currently transformed. Which means that your hands - and your feet, up to mid-thigh - are now living black fleshmetal. Yes, fleshmetal is not a real word, but it's metal, it's sharp, and you can feel everything through them, as if they were skin instead of...well, metal.

Your legs are the same spindly structures, elegant in their own right, with certain pointy things jutting out at the knee and toes. Your hands, well, they look like they belong on some giant metal skeleton model, as that's what they are: oversized steel simulacra of the human skeletal hand, all black, and the tips forming into brutal claws.

You've wondered how your wish could have possibly been interpreted into giving you these sort of armored appendages, but they are as useful as they are...appealing, so you do not wonder so much, anymore.

It's only ironic that your normal limbs, out of transformation, actually look much more horrible. Here, at least they realize that it is simply due to your costume, but your hands and feet when you're normal, well...they are not exactly standard issue.

You clap your brutally-clawed hands against your cheeks. Stop, you murmur to yourself. This is no time to be bothered by trivialities. Work must be done. Professionalism. You are a professional.

You carefully button up your black greatcoat - a present you inherited from your father, from his days in the army - the Warmaster skull epaulettes glinting from the garment's padded shoulders. The Warmaster's cap comes on last, and you carefully pull it down so that the visor is barely obscuring your eyes while not making a mess out of your hair. Nobody wants a Warmaster with a bad case of hat hair.
>>
>>20645083

You glance back at Nero, and she is still sleeping the sleep of the blessed, entangled in the satin sheets of your bed. Nothing wrong with that, of course - your policy is to let whoever it was you've been fooling around with to stay as long as they like, until they find it in themselves to leave. No driving them out and telling them not to call you, you'll call them - that's just bad comedy. Your father raised you better than that.

You turn back to look at yourself in the mirror, before nodding at yourself. You're ready as you can be.

What do you do?

You could always make it into a flash game, that's what they did with Ruby quest way back when. It wasn't a game obviously, more like a power point with the OP's posts shown beneath the pictures he drew. It was quite good I think.

Not sure MGNQ would translate that well into one of those though.

You take this time to check your inventory.

You don't carry a lot with you, and some of the stuff you have you're already wearing. You have your Warmaster cap, which proves your station to anyone in the Officio, and thus your authority over them (it also helps protect your scalp and eyes from the hot sun, a good plus).

You have Skulltaker, your Magical Girl weapon, a very long, very huge and very noisy chainblade that you like to spend long nights maintaining. You have recently replaced its chainteeth, so it is in fine working order.

You also have your smartphone, which you only use to make calls to Malal to - and the remaining handful of Jolly Rancher candies that one of the Officio Warmasters stationed in America had given you. Finally, you have twenty of the wondrously sour things left, and you will be sad when you finally run out of them.

Hmm. What's this strange frilly scrap of cloth in your inventory, here?

[]Investigate it.

You take one of the Jolly Rancher candies and unwrap it carefully, before popping the delightful piece of sour goodness in your mouth. It is as sour as you like it, wonderfully so, and you close your eyes momentarily as an involuntary shiver goes down your spine. Sure, you think the American Warmaster was quite the uncivilized, boorish young woman, but she had certainly taken your heart with these things! You should remember to have Malal look for these things. You do not know what you would do if you run out of them, and because of this, you only have nineteen left.

Letting the treat dissolve slowly on your tongue, you finally make to investigate the frilly piece of cloth. It comes out of your inventory rather reluctantly, as if it caught on something. It finally comes away, unfolding as it does so - and it's a white, silky number, embroidered with a rather vulgar amount of lace. And almost see-through material.

...

Oh. OH. Right. This is Nero's. You...you made a point of pocketing it at the heat of the moment, after you yourself pulled them off of her. You're not sure how you forgot, as certain portions of her skirt were also transparent to the point that anyone who came within ten paces of her could see every detail of it.

You decide to keep the frilly pair of undergarment as a trophy. Your very first one - you've only recently come upon the idea, after overhearing a blue-haired Eversor explain the used underwear market to an utterly confused (and soon very embarrassed) red-haired Eversor. You didn't catch their names, but you've seen them hanging around with Tomoe Mami. But yes, a trophy collection of your conquests sounds like a good idea, and where better to start than Nero?

You make a note to tell Malal that she should inform the Fourteenth Incubator's Warmaster of this honor.

...Perhaps when she's safely back in Italy, of course.

Walking over and giving the still-somnolent Nero a farewell peck on the cheek, it's then that you finally walk out of your room, closing the door carefully behind you. As always, there are two guards posted near your door, quiet and taciturn. Wearing the same Culexus gear as your aide, down to the skullish helm, the padded gloves, the armored shoulderpads and boots.

"Warmaster." Both of them utter through the vox units of their helmets, the speakers distorting their voices enough that they actually sound exactly the same, from their pronounciations to the digitized edge of their words.

You nod at them, before glancing around. Normally, your aide should have been waiting outside your room, ambushing you with her tablet as soon as you stepped out. The hallway seems to be devoid of Malal now, however.

What do you do?

[]Ask the guards if they've seen Malal.
[]Ask them about their uniforms.
[]Ask them if one of THEM is Malal. Seriously, they look the same...
>>
>>20645676
We could also offer them to Girl A as a token of friendship.

Both Culexus glance at each other for a moment, and it's then that look up at you, seemingly in confusion. "N-no, Warmaster, neither of us is Malal." The one to your right says, shaking her head briefly. "I am Alpharius, Culexus rank."

Alpharius. Hnh. Well, this is the first time you've had Culexus guarding you, so this is also the first time you're encountering them - besides Malal, that is. You commit the name to memory, and you glance towards the one at the left, asking her for her name.

"U-um." The other Culexus seems to be flustered at you asking her name. "I am Alpharius as well, Warmaster. I am not Miss Malal. Although, I did see her heading towards her own room, she seemed quite distressed about something--ah! Here she is now, Warmaster!"

And so she is. Your aide and friend, Malal, attired in the same Culexus gear as the two guards you've been talking to, makes her way out of her own room - which is beside yours, her being your aide and everything. She closes and locks her door rather fastidiously, as if loathe to take any chances of anyone getting in - and it's then that she waves at you, tablet in hand, before approaching.

"Getting to know your door guards for a change, Kharn?" Your hear the smile in your friend's voice despite the vox-corruption. "That's new. Usually you're much too busy trying to sleep with them." The Culexus at the left seems to fidget at this. "And no, before you ask, none of them are blonde. As far as I know. So hands off."

How do you respond?

>>20645851

Hahaha, I'm glad I wasn't the only one who caught that.
>>
Take out marker.

Mark a simple X on Malal's head.

Proceed casually
>>
>>20646135

"...What? Distress? I'm not--how did you...?" If anything, Malal seems taken aback by your sudden concern of her, and she glances at the two Culexus you've been chatting with. The one that had mentioned Malal's distress fidgets again, and you hear muted clicks issuing between them - a faint audio sign that they are conversing on a private vox channel. After a few moments, the Culexus hangs her head down, her shoulders shaking slightly, and she steps back timidly, as if wanting to resume her post and at the same time take herself out of the conversation.

...Of course, you didn't hear what they were talking about, but you feel that you may have gotten the flustered Culexus in trouble with Malal, a bit.

"You, back to your post." Your aide snaps at the other Culexus, who is quick enough to obey. It seems that Malal runs a tight ship, at least when other Culexus as concerned - you've never seen her act this way towards Eversors or Vindicares, anyway.

It's then that she lets out a sigh, before beckoning you towards her. You approach, and you fall into lockstep with your aide as the both of you make your way to the floor's solitary dining section - where your breakfast should be waiting for you.
She starts talking as soon as the other Culexus are out of earshot.

"I'm flattered that you're worried about me, but there's nothing wrong. Just some personal issues I have to deal with, nothing that should affect my work." The skull on her helm is grinning, completely at odds with her seeming mood. "If you're noticing it, though, then I apologize."

[1/2]
>>
>>20646361

You wave her apology off. Not all of us can wake up with a personal blonde goddess in our beds, after all.

"...Yes. Unfortunately." The smile is back in her voice, before it disappears again. "How are things with you, though? Did you check today? Is it improving?"

Malal seems to be talking about the corruption.

How do you respond?

"..." Your aide is silent as you tell her your thoughts, and it's a moment before she breaks the quiet between the both of you. "Kyuubey will find a cure, and soon enough. I hear he's actually devoting a lot of resources into finding one, including the R&D base in Siberia."

Huh. He's doing that? Well...Kyuubey may be more considerate to you than you thought. And here you were, thinking that the Incubator was all about dollars, cents and grief seeds.

In a rare breach of decorum between Warmaster and aide, Malal reaches out to grasp your fleshmetal hand, giving it a squeeze.

Of course, she doesn't do exactly much squeezing, since your hand is all but metal shaped like bone, but the thought was there.

"Dammit, Kharn, that was supposed to be a comforting gesture. How can I be comforting when you've got all that weird shit on your hands? And legs?"

You blithely snap that she does not exactly present a picture of empathy, with her face covered by a grinning skull helm, and being covered from head to toe in black body armor. Her squeezing your hand with a padded glove does not help, not at all.

Your combined laughter carries all the way to the dining section.

Yes, the both of you have problems. Both Warmaster and aide.

But sometimes, you just can't help but laugh at how much the Universe deemed fit to throw at your direction.

Sometimes, laughter is how you cope.

Other times, it's murdering. And skulls.

Breakfast resumes in the quiet dining section. It is simple, but it is private; a circular white table with a comfortable, cushioned seat curving around it, so that others can dine with you if necessary. You tuck in to greasy western food with an alarming gusto; you suppose that Nero did take a lot out of you last night. Might as well carb up for the day.

You offer Malal some of your food in mid-chew, she politely refuses as she continues to consult her tablet.

"Let's get your itinerary out of the way while you eat," Malal says as she swipes one glove-encased finger across the surface of her tablet, before tapping at a specific spot and then sliding the device, face up, towards you. "You have ten outstanding appointments today. I've taken the liberty of marking out the most important ones - those being your meeting with the Third Incubator's Warmaster this afternoon, and your judgment of Girl A in the Silent Room, this morning."

You glance down at the tablet screen. The ones that had gone unmarked are the things you normally skip. These events being motivational speeches by the Human Resource department of the company (where you are also invited to speak in, an abhorrent thing you will never do), sparring duels that you've been challenged into (that you've always turned down, there's no point now that you're Warmaster) and other things you'd really not spend the day doing.

"Now, do you have any questions about your appointments, Kharn?" Malal takes back the tablet, looking up at you - and you see your face reflected on her helmet's visor. You frown at yourself, before delicately picking off a bit of bacon from your cheek.

What do you ask about?

[]Ask about Girl A's judgment proceedings.

"Of course." Malal swipes and taps and swipes some more at her tablet. "Girl A was rescued six months ago from the Barrier of a Witch identified as Charlotte. Tomoe Mami and Miki Sayaka were the first to respond to her rescue; Alpha Squad was sent along with Kure Kirika to back them up after.

"She woke up after being comatose for three weeks, and has been in the custody of Mami Tomoe ever since. Upon interrogation, we've discovered that she does not know where she is, where she's from and how she got there; she doesn't even know her name or any memory of her own past. She has been confirmed to be a Magical Girl, and her ability seems to be a perfect Time Stop - it freezes time momentarily around her, leaving her targets vulnerable to her attacks. She also seems to have some capacity regarding firearm generation."

Another swipe. "After two months of rehabilitation, she was temporarily approved for probationary service, with the stipulation that she cannot accept assignments unless Mami Tomoe is with her. Her performance isn't exactly anything to write home about, but she's proven to be quite obedient to Mami's commands, and is very handy with all sorts of firearms."

"And you're judging her for this, Kharn. Happened just two days ago."

One more tap, and it's then that Malal turns the tablet to face you. You squint at the device's blank screen, and blink as it comes alive with the video playback of what looks to be grainy CCTV footage of...a wide office area in some sort of building.

[1/2]
>>
>>20647376

You see unfamiliar Magical Girls - three squads of them, with seven girls per squad - noisily march towards the camera, weapons drawn, faces tight with determination. It's then that they stop in their tracks as a girl with long black hair, braided into two thick ponytails, materializes right in front of them, impeding their progress. Girl A. Words are exchanged harshly, and one of the squad leaders move forward to push the girl out of the way.

You didn't even see Girl A move before the squad leader suddenly jerks back before crumpling to the ground, most of her face reduced to gore. As if someone from off screen had taken her.

It happens again. And again. And again. Girl A somehow disappearing out of frame, only to return back to where she was - and a new victim would fall to the ground, lifeless, with some horrific exit wound sprouting from her body, as if they had suddenly just decided to die. No last words, no moments of tearful goodbyes, nothing.

Those who try and attack Girl A seem to overshoot her by completely meters, and they barely have time to register their disbelief before their hands explode, leaving them without hands to get a grip with. Their faces exploding in a bloody shower would be next, or a hole tunneling itself right through their torsos. Without warning or preamble.

The video recording ends with Girl A taking up one of the discarded weapons from the bloodbath around her - a worn bat with its striking tip full of steel nails - and then suddenly braining the last surviving Magical Girl there, someone who seemed to have been begging Girl A for her life on her knees. Her skull cracks at the first hit, then pops like a ripe melon at the second. The corpse flopping to the floor, still twitching - before falling motionless as her murderer crushes her soul gem underfoot.

[2/3]
>>
>>20647398

The video ends after that, and Malal turns her tablet back to her.

"Well, that's the gist of it, mainly. Murder of twenty-one allied Eversors in one mission. Obviously premeditated, as she first murdered their bodies, and then destroyed their Soul Gems immediately after. Can't get much more premeditated than that." Malal lets out a pained sigh. "The Third Incubator wants her head on a platter and her Soul Gem crushed to powder. Kyuubey is undecided, but he's letting you make the decision."

Your aide sighs. "Such a shame, really. Perfect Time-Stop. You don't see that kind of gimmick around, not anymore."

How do you respond?

>>20647398

>>

1. What was their mission?
2. Where was Mami?
3. What has Girl A said since this incident?

Yes, but the point is even in spite (or because) of that, the case against her appears open and shut. The fact that it's in question at all is itself worth investigating.
>>
>>20647541
For starters Kyuubey doesn't particularly care about other incubators, he is testing Kharn to see how she handles a situation like this since he always keeps testing the girls in various ways.
Also Murderfaces power is both rare and extremely useful, she demonstrated the ability to wipe out three full teams of meguca without even getting touched.

That sort of power isn't something you casually flush when you have a chance at controlling it

You thoughtfully crunch on another strip of bacon, before you ask the obvious questions, first. What was the joint operation all about? Where was Mami while this was happening? And finally, what did Girl A say in her defense?

"If I'm reading the dossier correctly, the joint operation was a purging. An entire building, fifty floors, approximately two thousand souls. One of the yakuza groups that the Third Incubator had been working with, but suddenly turned around and kidnapped a few of his girls, trying to hold them for ransom. The Third Incubator's a bit of a sensitive type, so he asked us for help in the purge. Kyuubey sent one squad to help, and that one is Tomoe Mami's."

A tap on her tablet, and Malal continues. "Tomoe Mami was exactly one floor up when this happened. The Third had instructed his three Eversor teams to let our squad get first run of each floor. That resulted in one of ours getting put in the hospital, but she'll be fine." The contempt is clear on your aide's voice. "In her statement, Mami says that she didn't see Girl A make for the lower floor until it was too late. Girl A literally disappeared from under her nose."

You shake your head at this. Ah, the poor angel. To be beleagued by such troublesome companions.

"As for Girl A's defense?" Malal shrugs. "That's what you're going to find out in a little bit, right? Although I did hear in her initial interrogation that she only did it because she heard one of the Eversor Squad Leaders call Mami a...a really bad word. And that after the operation, she'll share Mami with her squad."

You smile at this.

It seems that chivalry is not dead. It just takes other forms.

What do you do? Your breakfast is all but done.

She's our aide and friend beside. Get her take on Girl A.

Get a bum's rush on the other matter after that.
>>
>>20647776
This.

We should get Malal's opinion on Girl A.
>>
>>20647755
Offer Malal some food again and then go see our interesting new friend after we finish up.
I think that we will find much in common with her

Okay, Guys. Case over. Seems it was a clear case of mass suicide.
>>
>>20647755
Get Malal's professional opinion of Girl A. Can she be salvaged?
Also, what about the political situation between QB and the Third?
It's one thing for QB to play his games, but I doubt even he would risk open warfare with another Incubator. Even if he won, he'd be weakened and other Incubators might take advantage of that.
>>
>>20647807
Pretty much this.
>>
>>20647755
>Called Mami a really bad word
>Said she'd share her with the rest of her squad

Well that explains a little. It's conceivable that Girl A, having no apparent memory of any previous social interaction, thought this was a real threat and took it seriously, acting accordingly.

Well there's nothing else to do but go and deal with her directly.

Kharn probably would of done the same thing if she's heard someone say that about Mami.
>>
>>20647807
Case closed, give Girl A a stack of pancakes.

Suicide by Murderface.

I would say see if she can be salvaged and collect her skull if she can't, but...

..Holy shit! It all falls into place now. The other Incubator whose squads got murdered by Chiaki is Jyubey. The Saints-girl in Mami`s Apartment probably witched out while she wanted to get revenge for her fallen comrades.

Though it doesn`t explain why the witch called her Homura.
>>
>>20647896
Uh.
No.

"Jyu" is 10 in moonrune. Jyubei is the Tenth Incubator. These crass eversors belonged to the Third.
>>
>>20647896

I thought Kyubey was surprised by the physical description of Jyubey? I at least I don't remember Kyubey referring to Jyubey by a number, something that seems to be the case with very other "official" incubator.

In any case, get Malal's opinion on Girl A and then move to the schedule.
>>
>>29647921
Who would be Sanbei
>>
>>20647755
>she heard one of the Eversor Squad Leaders call Mami a...a really bad word. And that after the operation, she'll share Mami with her squad."

Well, either this was just a bad joke made in the /wrong/ company or this was a double cross.

'Magical Girls' getting kidnapped by some chump gangsters? Calling in a team from a rival incubator instead of just slaughtering the fuckers themselves?

This whole thing sounds fishy!

Nothing else for it. We'll just have to speak to GirlA and get the details from her.
>>
>>20647995
This is a good point. It does sound like a doublecross. Sending in our squad first while having three of his own?

>>
>>20647995

you present a compelling argument.
>>
>>20648052
Maybe. But this was before Murderface's rise to fame.
Right now, she's just a nobody, her combat skills are mediocre, and it's only because of her Time-Stop that she has any value.

Also, Malal is turning out pretty nice. It's a shame she's dead.

I wonder how she and Girl A got along? If Pinky saw fit to bring her up when berating Chiaki on her choice of friends, they must've actually hit it off pretty well once this incident and the whole 'vomit inducing presence' thing got sorted out.
>>
Murderface brutally kills a bunch of people and in the future half the officio wants to get into her panties. What the hell?
>>
>>20648079
Yep, that's why they never saw it coming. They had no idea the kind of mistake they were making.

>>20647995
Yeah, sending in Mamis squad alone when they had three squads just sitting there.

Classic double cross set up. Send them into the meat-grinder then swoop in and finish off whatever is left.
>>
>>20648123
Lethality is catnip for magical girls.
>>
>>20648123
Obviously there's something more going on behind the scenes.
>>
>>20648123

Apparently MGs get off on brutal, bloody murder. Everyone wants into Kharn's panties, too.
>>
>>20648123

Mami is well liked in the Officio. It probably got out that she did it in defense of her honor. Throw in Midori's doujins, which probably started to come out shortly after this incident, and you have the image of a chivalrous dark heroine.
>>
>>20648143

To add, a 'chivalrous and troubled dark heroine' just waiting for the right girl to bring her around.
>>
>>20648143
I now want to read Midori's doujins of Murderface.
>>
>>20648184

You have a good point there.

Death by swirly tongue thing? I am of divided opinions on this
>>
>>20647932 >>20647784 >>20647776

You wipe your lips carefully with the napkin provided, and it's then that you ask Malal what she thinks about this whole thing with Girl A. Sure, you have your own views on it, but you'd like to get a second opinion on the entire deal. After all, that's what aides are for, aren't they?

"...Aides are helping you with logistics and crap, Kharn." Malal says after a moment, shaking her head. "The stuff you're supposed to be bothering with but are just too busy to, being Warmaster. Paperwork. Errands. Gopher stuff. An aide isn't supposed to offer her views on something the Warmaster needs to decide upon, as that could influence her judgment. That said..."

The Culexus looks around, as if to check whether anyone is listening, before leaning closer. "Professionally, it's an open and shut case. No matter her reason for doing so, she killed three allied squads on her own. Killing a friendly is tantamount to early retirement already, Kharn. Sentence her to death, make it quick--" She draws a glove-encased finger across her throat. "--Third Incubator's happy. We're happy, although not really."

It's then that she leans back on her seat. "On the other hand, there's something really fishy about how the Third Incubator and his squads behaved. Also, Magical Girls getting kidnapped? KIDNAPPED? When has that ever happened? Even the weakest Callidus could stab herself out of trouble if she wanted to. Plus, he had three Eversor squads, and the Third still asked for one of ours. We only get by with one squad per purge, for fuck's sake!"

[1/2]
>>
>>20648356

There are inconsistencies, indeed. But does she mean that Girl A should live?

"Professionally, no. But personally...I think she should get another chance." Malal nods after a moment. "I mean, I've had to train some of the Culexus here myself, and they're not exactly from exemplar backgrounds. They're good girls now, but before they were given the suit...ugh." She pats the table in front of her. "What I'm saying is, while what she did was reprehensible...I don't think we should punish her for doing the right thing. She just did it the wrong way, that's all."

The right thing, but the wrong way. You're not too sure about that.

Because you know you'd have gone right for the Third Incubator's headquarters instead, and killed them from the inside out.

You toss your napkin onto your plate, before standing up from your seat. Your legs and feet clanking again as you do so, and you tell Malal that you want to see Girl A, now. Without delay.

She has just proven herself to be much more interesting than originally let on. YOu'll just have to see if it's worthwhile for you to spare her life. If not, then you'll have a new skull for the taking.

It's win-win, really.

Nobody loses. Well, except her.
>>
[]Buy some time. After that we'd have some room to act and figure out where a kid like that got all that skill.

"Sure, third incubator, we could put Girl A on trial and probably execute her for killing your squads, but doing so would admit that three of your eversor teams couldn't take on a single little girl. Why, I imagine that would be a horrible embarasment. Surely, there must be extenuating circumstances."

Are the Incubators ranked by number (First Incubator is the head, Second Incubator is his lesser, etc)?

They don't seem to be
Kyuubey for example would be the ninth ranked but in this world he seems quite powerful and closer to if not the first

While we have a thread up, an enterprising soul made a deculture-posts-only archive that we might peruse or direct new readers to:
https://s3.amazonaws.com/magicalgirlnoir/index.html#p19491991

Also, i archive dived and came up with a bit of a to-do list for when we return from the flashback.

>Apparently, we need to inform Kharn that Souji said she has nice... Mamis.

>Get an Ushanka hat for Kyouko.

>If we have to go under for a month to resist the corruption, we should let Iori know we'll be delayed

>We can apparently 'take control' of Midori through the soul link, which could be... interesting. We might try it to see how it works.

>On the subject of green and eager, I don't think we've ever specifically told Midori about the connections between Pinky, the Gold Weapons, and the Flesh of Fallen Angels.

We shouldn't forget that Oriko is still out there and probably has not forgiven us for retiring Kirika. She was a normal girl back then but I can easily see her making a wish for revenge. I don't know if she would have her future sight powers as her wish in the manga was to understand her meaning in life. That said, given how much trouble those powers gave Homura, she might get them or something like it for a revenge wish.

Thanks for posting the link, I've been busy this morning.

Hello everyone, I'm here to take suggestions on the archive. Current plans are to add a way of changing/keeping track of the threads to the floating bar. Another idea I've been tossing around is maybe a kind of dictionary for certain words/names when you mouse over them?
>>
>>20651517
I think everyone left, it's been like 6 hours.

I'm basically already convinced you're a wizard, your archive is pretty seriously cool. For the record, it loads fine for me even if it is huge.

Mostly, i'm just curious about how you're going to add threads on as they happen.
>>
>>20651850
Manually! Kinda, I have a script that fetches the page content that I run, then I just copy paste what it fetches and upload it. I could do a server thing but I'd have to set up that section of AWS. I would do it if I end up archiving other quests but for now this is easier and saves time.
