You were sitting on your haunches, on the ground, the table about chest-height for you, one paw on the table holding you up.
Daintily, you take a biscuit between two of your claws, sliding them out of their sheaths, and popping it into your mouth, before taking your orcish teamug in paw, extending your pinkie's claw away from the mug, before quickly licking up the tea inside.
"This is the eeriest thing I've ever seen." Kristoph said, as you spear a slice of vinefruit with your claws.
"I don't think it's quite that eerie." Your father said, carefully cutting his vinefruit into perfect cubes. Kaliel, on the other side of you, simply grinned and continued eating, pleased at the fact that the form she invented was capable of this.
>>

<The only problem with this form is that it can't actually talk.>
>>
<The only problem with this form is that it can't actually talk.> You say, to nobody in particular.
"You're right! Sorry, I'll see if I can fix that if I get some spare time." Kaliel said, while your father translated for Kristoph.
"Oh well." Kristoph said. "Oh, and before I forget! Belethor wanted to talk to you, I'm not sure what about, and Zeke, Cassie, and Aeriel wanted to talk about the new vault."
>>
>>20947171
<Such a busy day! I'll go an see Belethor now, I think.>
>>
>>20947171
<Ok, thanks. I'll go and see them after lunch.>
>>
<Such a busy day!> You say, and Kaliel says it out loud for you. <I'll go and see Belethor after dinner, I think.>
"He seemed pretty anxious." Kristoph said, and shrugged. Together, the four of you finished your meal, and you prowled out of the dining hall, making your way towards the lavish guest room Gehenna had put him in. You tap on the door with a knuckle.
"Come in." Belethor said. You have a little trouble with the doorknob, but eventually you twist it open, to find Belethor sitting at his desk, with a series of letters, an inkwell, and some quills. "Sorry for the mess, Ishel..."
He blinked at your form.
"Anyway, sorry for the mess." He said, shaking his head. "I'm just thinking that it's probably time I return to Sosaria."
>>
>>20947280
We should probably transform back so we can talk properly.
"I see. Missing home?"
>>
You close your eyes, and twist back into your human form, your hair disheveled.
"I see." You say. "Missing home?"
"Well..." He said, folding up some of the letters, and dripping wax onto the envelopes, pressing his own signet ring onto them. "Yes and no. I can do more there, and it's my duty, I suppose. This has been a pleasant vacation, I must admit, but I'm still a prince. I have to return home someday. And.. well, I miss Aowyn and my mother. The rings don't do them justice."
>>
>>20947380
"Very well, I'll see if we can cast a portal straight to your home. Do take care and be sure to visit again"

"I understand. It was nice travelling with you, feel free to come back any time you need another vacation."

"I understand." You say. "It was nice traveling with you. And feel free to come back any time you need another vacation. Do you need a lift home, or are you going to do your windy thing?"
"I'm going to try the... erm, 'windy thing', I suppose." He said, and started putting his belongings into a satchel. "Although I'm going to drop off some of these letters off in the provinces. Faster than having a courier do it."
>>
>>20947506
Not John's windy thing, Belethor's windy thing. They're completely different things. Although both windy.

"When are you leaving? I hope we'll be able to have a tea party of sorts before you do."
>>
"When are you leaving?" You ask. "I do hope we'll be able to have a tea party of sorts before you do."
"Well, I intended to vanish in the night." He said. "So in a few hours, I suppose. We can have a tea party, I guess. Though I hope it's just something with friends instead of one of those ceremonial things full of pomp. I really dislike that sort of thing." He added, and chuckled.
>>
>>20947565
Fake pout for a moment, then smile.
"So, who would you like to attend?"
>>
>>20947565
"If you insist it'll be a small event. But I do insist on there being dancing and no small amount of revelry."
>>
"If you insist, it'll be a small event." You say. "So, who would you like to attend?"
"Kristoph and Marigold, for sure." He said. "I've been trying to subtly encourage those two. And... well, you... and I can't think of anybody else." He said. "Zeke, maybe?"
>>
>>20947668
"I don't think those two need all that much encouragement. They're both interested but they both seem to want an elegant courtly romance so it might take a bit.

Don't worry about invitations or setting it up, I can take care of it.

Be sure to visit, give my regards to your family, especially your mother. How long is it going to take you to get home anyways? And more importantly how are you going to show your family that you awoke your talent? Are you just going to casually introduce it by using it without mentioning it?"
>>
"I don't think those two need all that much encouragement." You say. "They're both interested, but they both seem to want an elegant courtly romance, so it might take a bit."
"Fair enough." He said, with a chuckle.
"Don't worry about invitations or setting it up, I can take care of it." You say.
"Well, you did insist the party, so it'd be quite rude if you made me set it up." He said, with a grin.
"Be sure to visit and to give my regards to your family, especially your mother."
"I will."
"How long is it going to take you to get home, anyways? And more importantly, how are you going to show your family that you awoke your talent? Are you just going to casually introduce it by using it without mentioning it?"
"Well, I can fly faster than Jormungandr, so I should be there in less than a day." He said. "And I never said I was going to show my family my talent. I still think I need to consider things before I tell anyone."
>>
>>20947815
"Well if you don't want to tell them I can hardly interfere. But I feel you should, even if it's only to see the shocked faces of your siblings.

Your Talent is a part of you, it defines you not because it changes who you are but that it's because of who you are that the Talent has accepted you."
>>
>>20947815
"Do you mind if I bring Kaliel to the party too?"
>>
Rolled 34

>>20947862
lets not we don't need to do everything with her
>>
"Well, if you don't want to tell them, I can hardly interfere. But I feel you should, even if it's only to see the shocked faces of your siblings."
"... That *would* be rather entertaining." He said. "But my talent is to move quickly, and through objects. That's not... an overt talent. It's not something that's all 'look at me, look at me', so it's better if nobody knows about it. It'll be much easier for me to get around if nobody knows I *can* get around, if that makes sense." He said, rambling. "I put quite a bit of thought into it, and decided not to tell anyone. Your soldiers, from the time we got the refugees from Arcturus are under the misapprehension that my unnatural abilities were from an enchantment you placed on me." He said, and shrugged, chuckling again.
>>
>>20947935
"While that is quite a believable explanation, I have never tried such an enchantment. It could be pretty fun though. Might've been useful that time Raizel, Zeke, and I were trapped in a /very/ well made magical vault. . ."
>>
>>20947935
"You go to decent lengths to not tell anyone that you have a talent. Can you blame them that they think that I, perhaps the flashiest magic user you've ever met, did something flashy?

Now that I think about it that would be a useful enchantment. Maybe I should give it a try some day."
>>
>>20947935
"Have you tried if you can travel through magic?"
>>
"You go to decent lengths to not tell anyone that you have a talent." You say.
"I do." He said. "Of course, I didn't tell them that it was you... I just implied it." He said.
"While that is quite a believable explanation, I have never tried such an enchantment. It could be pretty fun, though. Might've been useful that time Raziel, Zeke and I were trapped in a *very* well made magical vault..." You say.
"If it was warded, I couldn't have gone through." He said. "I was curious, and asked Cassiel to ward a plank of wood for me." He shrugged. "Couldn't go through it, even when I tried. I think I ended up eroding the spell eventually, though..."
>>
>>20948037
"Considering the amount of work we put into the wards it'd probably take a fair while to get out that way.

Oh, and Belethor, if I start getting soldiers asking me to turn them into wind I'm blaming you.

How are you going to explain getting home so quickly? Are you going to imply that it was me this time as well?"
>>
"Considering the amount of work we put into the wards, it'd probably take a fair while to get out that way." You say. "How are you going to explain getting home so quickly?" You ask, and give him a smile. "Are you going to imply that it was me this time as well?"
"I'll just say 'I'm home'." He said. "Leave them to come up with their own explanations. The simplest of which is that I left days ago, instead of later tonight."
"Oh, and Belethor, if I start getting soldiers asking me to turn them into wind, I'm blaming you."
"Feel free to blame me." He said, and waved one of the letters. "I think getting Neptune and Ursae to assist the elves with your bridge was worth a bit of annoyance." He said, chuckling. "I was able to convince the High Lords that opening up trade with the elves would give them more access to magic. Which, it will, of course, but I brought it to their attention that the bridge was being built... *so* slowly."
>>
Having a elite of windy soldiers would be cool.
>>
>>20948142
"Are you going to be able to keep a straight face when they keep on coming up with explanations? Maybe one of them will say "Maybe his Talent woke up" and the rest will shoot the idea down, when that happens will you be able to not laugh?

And thank you for delivering the letters, you're a wonder."
>>
>>20948142
"We don't quite have the resources to build it ourselves, and the elves were being a bit unreasonable, last time I checked."
>>
>>20948142
"Oh, thank you. That's useful."

>The simplest of which is that I left days ago, instead of later tonight.
That doesn't explain how you got onto the island without a ship.
>>
"Oh, thank you." You say. "You're a wonder."
"I have no idea when their workers will pass through." He said, with a shrug. "But they'll probably send you- or Gehenna- notification that they're sending workers through your land, before they do. I already told Gehenna about it."
"... Are you going to keep a straight face when they keep on coming up with explanations? Maybe one of them will say 'maybe his talent woke up', and the rest will shoot that idea down. When that happens, will you be able to not laugh?"
"I think I'll be able to manage it." He said, and gave you a perfectly stern expression- one that told you he was *not* amused. Then the expression rose into a slight grin. "So, just call me when it's time for the party." He said. "I have a bit more packing to do, and I need to talk with Denegrin for a short while."
>>
>>20948220
"I'll let you know when everything's set up then."
>>
>>20948220
"Ok, see you then."

Mar, Kris, Zeke: <You're invited to Belethor's farewell party, later tonight.>

Go find the people who wanted to talk about the vault.
>>
"Okay, I'll let you know when everything's set up then." You say, and give him another smile.
He nodded.

As you make your way to Jormungandr, you quickly invite both Marigold and Kristoph to the farewell party, later tonight, and you finally reach the top, where Zeke and Cassiel are still butting heads about charms, while Aeriel is just leaning back, laughing at the two.
"Ishelda." He said, turning to you. "We've been arguing about what to do with the vault all day. Well, they have, I'm fine if I use my magic or not."
>>
>>20948324
"What are the proposals?"
>>
>>20948324
"Oh? What exactly is there to argue about?"
>>
The answer is always more magic.
>>
"Oh?" You ask. "What exactly is there to argue about?"
"Well, we have three proposals." He said. "Cassiel wants to slap every ward possible on everything. All abjuration, anti-scrying, alarms, the whole nine yards. Zeke, however, wants to only slap on the anti-scrying and basic wards, and then erect Force wards around everything, making them impenetrable from both sides. My own suggestion is just a few wards... and then make space bend around it when it's not in use. Like hiding behind a curtain, but with the fabric of space. But if you have any other ideas, feel free to suggest them."
>>
>>20948411
"I like the idea of space bending around it, but what would happen if the spell were to fail?"
>>
>>20948411
"Well I already use a dimension trick like that."

Pull out and show him the gear, then put it back.

"Is it possible to do everything at once? I'm leaning more towards walls over ward's."
>>
>>20948411
"Total anti-magic field and a strong lock would be ideal, if only achievable."

Keep it simple, stupid.
>>
>>20948411
"Let's just chuck the whole lot on!"
>>
>>20948471
I don't think Kristoph can stand there and keep that up 24/7. We've never even heard of any other antimagic.
>>
"I think I'd like the force walls on the non-door walls, and then have more of the wards onto the vault door. If we could then implement the space curtain on top of that, I think it'd be ideal."
>>
"I like the idea of space bending around it, but what would happen if the spell were to fail?"
"Then it would be pretty much the way it is now, except warded." He said. "It wouldn't wipe it from existance, it would just... unbend, I suppose."
"Well, I already use a dimension trick like that." You say.
"I know." He said. "I can sense it, clear as day. I could probably even open it, if I had to."
"Is it possible to do everything at once? I'm leaning more towards walls over wards..."
"Yes and no." Zeke said. "We can only have so much magic energy going around without a spell overcharging, and there's such a thing as too much complexity on an enchantment."
"No matter what we're doing, we decided that adding a few simple wards would be best. Anti-scrying, alarms, ones to stop spells from leaving the artifact chambers, things like that." Cassiel added. "So the choice is to put even *more* wards on that, put the walls on there, or Aeriel's silly portal thing."
He grumbled for a few moments that portals should be two dimensional, not entire spheres.
"Or we could skip the wards and just put the space curtain and the walls on there." Zeke said.
>>
>>20948509
Is there any way to make the dimensional pocket more subtle? I thought I was being sneaky.
>>
>>20948509
"The space curtain seems like the most impenetrable. What could get through it?"
>>
"Is there any way to make the dimensional pocket more subtle? I thought I was being sneaky."
"You are damn sneaky." He said. "But I have two hundred years experience in this sort of thing. It's my specialty."
"The space curtain seems the most impenetrable." You say. "What could get through it?"
"Anything or anyone that can translocate." He said. "But you'd have to know it's there, which is pretty impossible in most cases, and even *more* impossible when Cassie wards it against detection. We're trying to hide it, rather than protect it, is the idea."
>>
>>20948648
Is there any way we can get the force wards in too? It'd be good if we need to lock up things with escape capabilities.
>>
>>20948648
"Anything that could translocate could get through the force walls anyway, they just protect against physical. I don't think they're worth it. What would Cassiel's extra wards do?"
>>
"Is there any way we can get the force wards in, too? It'd be good if we need to lock up things with escape capabilities."
"Not without getting rid of the normal wards." Zeke said.
"What would Cassiel's extra wards do?"
"It would be almost exactly like it was before the thing that possessed Kristoph messed it all up." He said. "Except better. They have a spell mirror, anti-detection, and most of all... It would re-weave itself, if the ward takes damage, and repair the vault itself. It would be impossible to get in without having an incredible amount of power, and it would suppress the magic of anything on the inside." He said.
>>
>>20948743
"What do you think we should go with?"2
>>
>>20948788
Seriously?
>>
Gonna re-suggest >>20948489
To see if the mix and match on different portions of the vault is feasible.
>>
>>20948788
You know the whole point of this is for us to pick one...

I would go with Cassiels way personally. The old system 'worked' up until the whole mind control point. Either that or Aeriels way.
>>
>>20948743
"Hmm... I think making the current wards better is probably the best choice for now."
>>
>>20948743
Aeriel:
+ Impossible to get in without knowing how.
- Easy to get in if you do know how because you just possessed somebody or you're a mind-reader or you're betraying us.

Cassiel:
+ Hard to break in to even if you know the defences.
- Would do an even better job of trapping us if we got stuck inside.

Zeke:
+ Stops things without magic from breaking out from the inside.
- Basically useless and we can make a separate prison if we need that.

I think I'm going to go with Cassiel.
>>
I think dimension pocket with a force wall across the door. That seems like a good mix of hidden and impenetrable
>>
>>20948882
No it doesn't. It seems completely retarded. Hide everything then put a big strong door that they can just walk around now that you've given away where the vault is.
>>
"I think I'd like the force walls on the non-door walls, and then have more of the wards on the vault door. If we could then implement the space curtain on top of that, I think it'd be ideal."
"Wards don't work like that, I'm afraid." Cassiel said. "The force wall is a wall, yes, but normal wards can only be put in areas and rooms, not piecemeal. The force wall is fiendishly complicated, too..."
"What do you think we should go with?"
"Personally, I think the space curtain is the best plan." Aeriel added. "Don't even let them know it's there, and the basic wards could stop the artifacts on the inside from doing anything. Anyone with translocation magic could probably get into it, provided they even know how, but I'm the only specialist I know of."
"The force wall would laugh at however much power you throw at it."Zeke said. "It would be literally indestructible, and it hardly drains any energy to do it.. but there are ways to unweave the spell if you have enough finesse."
"The wards are impossible to intrude unless you destroy the entire thing, and you can only destroy it for a short time before it starts weaving itself. I vote for my design." Cassiel said.

Being the only specialist you know of does not mean that there are no other specialists. Especially seeing as you do know of Dras'lea who you taught everything to. I'm not even going to go into Zeke's it's clearly worse than the other two.

Even though the Vault trapped us last time, it did exactly what it was supposed to do. If it can keep us in like that, then it can keep in dangerous foes and artifacts. Which is EXACTLY what it's supposed to do.
Just because someone uses your own blade against you is no reason to blunt it.

But then we couldn't get to it. And no one knows how to do that spell. Azariel himself didn't even know that spell existed until we told him about it.
>>
"Cassiel, even though the Vault trapped us last time, it did exactly what it was supposed to do." You say. "If it can keep it in like that, then it can keep in dangerous foes and artifacts. Let's go with the wards."
"Right." He said, and nodded. "I'd better get started, then."
He bowed, his wings twitching, and then made his way down the tower.
"Well, that leaves me free, since I don't need to help." Aeriel said, and rubbed the top of his beak. "I think I'm going to go fly to Azariel's tower, for now. Check out all those books that none of us ever took a look at, before, because they weren't related to our specialties."
>>
Well, what should we go do now?

Tea party preparations?
>>
"So, Zeke, have you made any interesting art lately?"
>>
>>20949173
"Ok. Tell me if you find anything interesting."
"Zeke, is there any way to trace a spell to it's caster?"

"Okay, tell me if you find anything interesting." You tell him.
You thank Aeriel for his help, and then turn to Zeke as he flies off.
"So, Zeke, have you made any interesting art lately?"
"I finished the carving of Qu'az some time ago, and now I'm working on one of your dragon form." He said. "I'm getting a lot better."
"... Is there any way to trace a spell to it's caster?"
"I believe so." He said. "It usually is easier the newer the spell is, and it's based on the type of spell, but it's possible. Why do you ask?"
>>
>>20949440
"It would be interesting to find out who made Grayson."
>>
>>20949479
Let's not spill that just yet. Grayson might want to keep that secret.

Zeke can keep a secret. But I suppose we can dodge the question.
"I have a spell I want to trace. Can you teach me?"
>>
"It seems like it'd be a useful ability to have." You say.
"I don't know the spell right offhand, and I'm not sure what school it's in." He said. "It might actually be universal..."
"And I have a spell I want to trace. Can you teach me?"
"I'll have to look it up, first, but I can try." He said, and shrugged. "It won't be an easy spell, though, and it will get harder the older the spell is. Azariel might know more, if he ever comes back."
>>
>>20949573
"Ok, I'll just keep training then. By the way, you're invited to the party this evening. We're saying goodbye to Belethor."
>>
So guys, how about we mount an expedition to go the Dwarven City, meet (and possibly kill) their leader who used to play The Game. I think his name was Tyr?
Dras'lea mentioned he was going to destroy wizardry. I figure we should probably put a stop to that.
>>
"Okay, I'll just keep training then. By the way, you're invited to the party this evening. We're saying goodbye to Belethor." You say. "Later tonight."
"Later tonight?" He asked. "It's already pretty late right now."
You look up at the stars, and it's already long past sundown, only an hour or so from midnight, by your reckoning.
"Good point." You say.

You make your way down to the dining hall, Zeke accompanying you, and grab a few things, before seeking out a room just large enough for everyone to sit comfortably, but small enough to make it a quiet, low-key affair. Eventually, you set up the teapot, snacks, and such, while Zeke helps out, and then it's all prepared. You call for Belethor, Kristoph, and Marigold on the rings, and soon enough, they arrive, one by one.

"I didn't know you were leaving." Marigold said.
"It was kind of a ... sudden realization that I'd have to go *sometime.*" Belethor said, chuckling.
"... It wasn't that, was it?" Marigold asked, seeing something that you don't. "... It has to do with a girl, doesn't it?"
"Well..." He said, and sipped at the tea. You recognize that very stern expression on his face- the one he used while he was bragging he could keep a straight face. "I just think that I have duties, back at home."
>>

>>
"I see." You say, smiling into your tea. "Which girl are these duties to?"
Kristoph started laughing. "It's that one Aowyn girl, isn't it?" He asked.
Belethor spluttered, his cheeks pinkening.
"Well, erm, I do assist her sometimes, when it comes to taking care of her siblings, but I'm talking about princely duties, such as drilling the soldiers for battle, and... and such."
>>

"I may not be an expert at relationships, but I would advise cutting down on the smoke bombs."
"Really? I'm not certain about that." Kristoph said, a sarcastic edge in his voice. "I mean, in my experience, sometimes you have to make a quick get away. Like when her husband shows up."
Marigold frowned and nudged Kris while he laughed.
"I will, Ishelda." Belethor said, chuckling. "I might not even use the grappling hook and rope. Maybe."

Seriously, just sit down and talk to her. It's the best relationship advice you'll ever get.
>>
"In my experience, fuzzy things are the best way to a girl's heart."
"... I wouldn't be surprised if Qu'azlith said the same thing." Belethor said. "But for completely different reasons."
"Seriously, though, just sit down and talk to her." You say.
"I know." He said. "It's Aowyn- the only thing I can really do is be me."

The five of you continue talking and drinking tea for quite some time, before Marigold falls asleep. Kristoph looks down at her, sitting in her chair, snoozing softly.
"I'll go take her to her room." Kristoph said. "Or Kell. I haven't decided yet."
He stood, and Belethor stood too, holding out his hand.
"It was a pleasure to meet you, Kristoph." Belethor said.
"I need to get one of those rings to work so that we can talk." Kristoph said, and grinned. "See you, Belethor."
Kristoph, Carrying Marigold in his hands, left the room.

"I should probably go too." Zeke said. "I have some research to do."
"Fair enough." Belethor said. "If you do ever find that bit on phasing you were talking about, send me a copy."
"Will do." Zeke said, and left, as well.

Now it was just the two of you remaining.
"Well..." Belethor said, suddenly. "I'd best take off."
>>
>>20950218
Kristoph, I learn new things about you every time we talk.
>>
>>20950407
"Thanks for helping me with the minotaurs and the demons. Good luck with Aowyn. And keep in touch."

>I need to get one of those rings to work so that we can talk.
What? He's used the rings before.

It's been a real pleasure adventuring with you belethor. Travel safely.

Rolling to make him an awesome dagger that he can phase independently from himself.

Oyh.

Never mind, it can be his wedding present.

"It's been a real pleasure adventuring with you, Belethor." You say. "Travel safely."
"I will." He said.
"Thank you for helping me with the minotaurs and the demons... and good luck with Aowyn."
"Thank you, your majesty." He said.
"Your highness." you respond, and he bows deeply.
"And now... Home." He said. He slung his bag over his shoulder, and then suddenly became a cloud of black smoke, shooting upwards through the ceiling.

Completely alone, you put away the tea, and make your way to your bedroom, undressing, and then you go to bed.

"Wake up." Someone says, their voice so hoarse that they had to snarl in order to make any noise. You open your eye, sometime a few hours later, and Dras'lea was standing there. Her cloak was in tatters, and she was holding her arm, breathing heavily. You feel roiling enchantments on her, wracking her system with... too much power? Not enough? It was almost impossible to tell. "Wake up." She repeated. "Wake up."

Jump up, draw sword. "what's going on? Why are you bleeding?"
>>
"I'm awake." You say, sitting up. You grab your sword. "Are you alright? What happened to you?"
"I failed." She snarled, her hands trembling. "My talent is sealed. My wizardry is all but sealed. My.... magic sustains me. Is supposed to."

She reached toward her cloak, and you saw long, black scars crawling across her body, wrinkles sprawling and dust falling from her limbs, Her arm creaks as she tears off the cloak... And with the hood gone, she looked exactly like you, but with deep-set, baggy eyes, like she hadn't slept in *years*. Other than that, she was wearing a simple tunic, and the strange, rusted elven bracer, complete with a dozen cracked shards of spellcrystals set into the top.

"I will die. But this curse can only be used on one person until they die." She said, giving you orders. You try to speak, but she simply talks over you. "The cloak is now yours. Use it. Do not use the World Key on me yet. Tyr is weak. Kill him first. Find the Gearworks. Use the key on me. Use the Gearworks on me. This is my plan."

She looked down to her bracer for a moment.
"Resurgence. Petrify." She said to the bracer. It started screeching, loudly, and you hear something churning on the inside, as orange lights bloom from the cracked crystals, and you felt a spell start building in her wrist.
>>
>>20950728
"What does the cloak do? Where is Tyr?"
>>
>>20950728
This,
>>20950776
But in reverse order.
>>
>>20950728
Well fuck. <kaliel, I need your help.>
>>
>>20950790
If she wants us to use the cloak, knowing what it does is helpful. We can find out where Tyr is by other means but nobody else will know what her cloak does.
>>
"Where is Tyr?"
"East. Dwarf." She said, and stone started crawling up from her wrist, her fingers going gray as they turned into stone. "Maybe at war with elves. Maybe Children. Hard to say. Things have changed."

"What does the cloak do?"
"Hides you." She responded, as the stone crawled up to her neck. "Made it for a friend... And then he died."

As soon as the spell had started, it covered her entire body, even transmuting the bracer and her clothing into stone.

"Lew-"
And then Dras'lea was still, a word forever unspoken on the statue's lips.

>End of thread!
>>
>>20950853
Fuck you Dras'lea, I do not want a statue of myself looking ill in the middle of my bedroom. What kind of shitty decoration is that?

So... Lewin died? Is that what triggered the 'tear out my emotions' thing?
>>
>>20950853
>>20950853
Lewin was killed by the elves? That would make sense. Then fellwind would have blamed us, then we'd go all soul rippingly evil. I can buy that. Don't know why she doesnt like tea though, since she's practically us.
>>
>>20950907
It's likely that all of Dras'lea's alternate versions of our friends died.
>>
>>20950991
She has no emotions, she can't like things. This is kind of the whole point.
>>
>>20951028
True, but nobody else's name begins with 'Lew'.
>>
>>20951052
She was saying the name of the person she made the cloak for.
We made a sneaking cloak for Lewin at one point.
>>
And I state this once again, for the final time. IT'S ALL FELLWIND'S FAULT!!!
>>
There are only four names in the world that contain the letters 'lew' in that order: Lew, Lewis, Lewa, and Lewin.
According to scrabblefinder.com the only words in the English language that begin with 'lew' are:
Lewd, Lewdness, Lewder, Lewdest, Lewdly, Lewisite/s, Lewisson/s, and Lewises.

Odds are pretty goddamn good she was going to say Lewin.
>>
>>20951069
Yeah, we did. That's what almost got him killed as well. So in her world, it did get him killed and that started all this shit. Everyone else died later, maybe she even killed some of them herself, but that's not as relevant.
>>
>>20951139
For sure, but just Lewin dying shouldn't be enough to push her that far. It's more likely that Lewin died along with everyone else. Or Lewin died, Fellwind did that thing he threatened to do, she probably killed him, and either she felt horrible about the entire situation or everyone else assumed she did it on purpose, and so she killed her emotions.
>>
>>20951139
No, she wants to do lewd stuff with us. That's why she was undressing in our bedroom at night. You're so oblivious, anon.

>Thread ended with 120 posts
This thread was seriously fucking slow, what's up with that?
>>
>>20951139
Or she's commenting how lewd we are, prancing around naked with a sword.
>>
What happened to our world's version of that cloak, anyway?
>>

blame Monday.
>>
>>20951258
The dude who runs Iron Hearts? Why him?
>>
>>20951220
I think it was mostly that there was little to do today, other than set up the vault and Belethor's departure, combined with it being Monday. But now, things should get out of sandbox/freeroam, and you'll have things to do in the east.

>>20951238
It was burned by the elven fireball that hurt and scarred Lewin.
>>
>>20951258
Exabyte has done 143 threads. 1/7 of them have been on a monday. I don't think any of them have been this slow except Mind-Eater 2, but that had clear reasons.
>>
>>20951312
>Monday
>First of the month
>Quest in Sandbox mode with little objective, most plans already been put in motion.
Most likely, people were just busy today broski, that plus little to do.
>>
>>20951286
So, you stopped the thread early because there wasn't anything to do...right as we get something to do?
>>
>>20951451
It's not early.
>>
>>20951464
He usually runs for another hour or so after he stopped.
>>
>>20951511
His "official" end time is actually about an hour and a half ago. He ALWAYS runs late.
>>
>>20951451
>>20951464
>>20951511
>>20951551

My ending time is usually a complete clusterfuck, because there are so many times I get tired or annoyed or writer's block or other variables, but I've decided that 4 PM, Pacific Time, is the minimum end time. I can go hours above that, or I can stop right then, or whatever. I do usually go hours later than that, though.
Sorry for being rather unreliable.

>>20951576
It's cool Exa. No worries.
