we sorely fucked up last time
>>
>>20963792
(Good to see three already here.)
>>
>>20963792
We did. We need to stop going on the offensive this session, consolidate our power, smooth things over with the dwarves, up our military power and the defense of our village.

Attacking other mines now is going to lead to our town's destruction.
>>
>>20963811
guess who!
>>
>>20963824
>>20963792
WOW what a novel idea
>>
>>20963841
You guys have now got back to the village after everything went down...

1A: Work on honoring the dead.
2A: Work on shit to defend the village
3A: Scavage the battle field.
>>
>>20963891
1A maybe if we honor the dead, dwarves might be a little less pissed?
>>
>>20963891
scavenge, we're going to need to gain more weapons and tools if we are to sucessfully defend
also search mine for anything useful(not sure what happened in the end there, did we hide in the mine? if so search it)
>>
>>20963891
wait 2A we need defenses now
>>
>>20963918
1A, we need to show the dwarves we sympathize with their loss, they lost 30 guys
>>
links to previous threads?
>>
>>20963948
unfortunately if we want to reconcile with the dwarves we need to do much more than honor the dead, and If we start down that road I can see us agreeing to go after the red dragon for them, and that will end badly, we should reconcile later, when we have regrouped, and defended our perimeters
>>
my apolagies for not attending last time got in a staring contest with a tree suffice to say I lost(curse the need to sleep). bugger knew I had to sleep eventually.
>>

greeeeaaaaat HE'S here
>>
>>20964048
(I slightly enjoy him...)

The villagers and warriors move the dead back to the village. The goblins and elves are saddened by this all while Slaren is fucking pissed...

They go to the edges of the swamps where the bodies will decompose into the swamps and the plants will benefit.
>>
>>20964073
Now we desperately need to up defenses, and send word to the dwarves of our defeat.

1A: Focus on attacking the next mine
2A: Get some dwarves out here
3A: Check the last mine out that you had taken,.

3A let's check that mine out before we get ahead of ourselves

3A. Check that mine, gotta return to the crimescene.
>>
>>20964159

voting for 3 A
Also, the next mine we attack should be one closer to the mountains, as a show of good faith to the Dwarves.

The red dragon would probably not expect such a drastic change. Can our magic users give us a dense canopy to avoid easy sky detection?
>>
>>20964223

Canopy for our village I mean
>>
>>20964223
(If you focused on that with illusions probably)

The village sends a good amount of men and a few goblins to help move anything that they missed in the mines. They find a few pounds of Magrite but also something else. Where a large scorch mark was, there was Red Magrite. When it was picked up it left a warm sensation but it almost burnt the goblin.

Red Magrite
1A: Ask Elves
2A: Ask Dwarves

Village:
1B: Focus on their defences
2B: Go help the dwarves take a mine.
3B: Take another closer mine.
4B: A suggestion

>>
>>20964294

If it can burn hot enough to forge metal though, give it to the dwarves! It was created with dragon's fire, so by extension...
>>
>>20964298
The elves say the new Red Magrite isn't much different from the normal blue magrite.

How ever this red one now produces fire and heat instead of an electric charge. But it seems the low amount could only be found in this one mine.

The elves and humans work around the village. They place precharged spears in hidden pits out of the main paths. If anything comes to close to the village without knowing where not to step. They might fall in these new traps.
>>
>>20964390
(Now what do you guys want to do?)
>>
>>20964390

If it is just a low amount and it's not dragon's fire, we should keep it. Winter's coming and if we burn wood, the forest may be angered.
>>
>>20964417
We need to tell the dwarves what happened.Send the red metal to them to smooth things over.
>>
>>20964390
good, now we need to strike at these elves before they strike back, before they can organize a full fledged attck force, because when we're honest, I doubt we have the ability to defend against an oncoming wave of organized enemies, we're much better off striking at the mines, cutting off resources and scattering their forces

The four groups gather in Slarens hut. They pour over the tomes on a large golden slab he had in his horde.

They find two of the books were written in elvish and had the basics of nature magic and a few ice spells.

One book was written in goblin and it had a basic instruction guide to build things. One of them was a cross bow and others were very complicated. This seems to come from the mountains.

The final book was written in Draconic. It was not a spell book, but a guide book written by dragons about Dragon and Rider relationships.

Riverheart and Slarens are very interested. They wish to study this deeply and perhaps connect as the stories of these riders to become a powerful force. Though Slarens insists that he will take much of the Red horde...only a dwarf makes a mumble about this but doesn't let it keep air.

Books Books Books, but which to read?
1A: Nature Elvish
2A: Elvish Ice Magics
3A: Goblins odd tinkering
4A: Dragon Riders manuel.
>>
>>20964887
4A. DRAGON RIDING FOR RIVERHEART OH.
>>
>>20964887

1A is in our BEST INTEREST
2A could prove useful
3A would be most useful to the dwarves or our goblins
4A would be FUCKING FANTASTIC for Slarens and Riverheart

1A as primary
Slarens and Riverheart are the only ones who can even read the last book, so let them pour over that.
>>
>>20964887
4A
Dragonriders all the fucking way
>>
>>20964887
I feel we could do 4A with just Slaren and Riverheart and 1A with the rest of the people
if not then just 1A
>>
>>20964887
4a, then 2a
>>
>>20964960
I change my vote to this. Slaren and Riverheart learn how to be dragonrider and dragon, everyone else do the Nature Elvish
>>
>>20964939
1a from me
>>
>>20964887
Why not divide the load? Have Asrid work with the Elves on 1A, Bren and another group of elves work on 2A, a group of dwarves, goblins and humans (as moderators) working on 3A, while Riverheart and Slarens work on 4A.
>>
>>20964960
Slarens and Riverheart keep the final book for themselves. The rest of the apprentices, with the elves start to pour over the nature tome.

Slarens keeps the rest of the books in his horde for safe keeping.

A Goblin says he would like to take the manual to their village, so they could build weapons for their fighting. A Dwarf argues that they would use them better, half insulting the goblins thinking they'd use them against them.

(What do?)
1A: Goblins get the book
2A: Dwarves get the book,
3A: Suggestion
>>
>>20965077
3A, if the Goblins or Dwarves can read the book, then they should be able to copy it. Have a copy written so both can have one.
>>

>>20965113
Agreed.

I also have to ask, how easy would it be to defend one of the mines we've taken?
>>
>>20965208

That depends on what we're defending against.

I've decided to get an actual name.
>>
>>20965208
The dwarves and goblins are promised the copies. One of the Elves they saved keeps the orignal copy he starts to focus on making copies of this book.

The Dwarves aren't very happy but the goblins are rather calm about it. They don't mind very much as they will get it eventually.
>>
>>20965208
>>20965240
I would assume he means the dark elves we took the mines from..
>>
>>20965247
while a part of me still doesn't trust these goblins, I like them better than the dwarves
>>
>>20965247
1A: Focus on Riverheart's training
2A: Focus on military training
3A: Get the Goblins ready for battle.
>>
>>20965240
Generally speaking.

I'm thinking along the lines of sparing a few people to set one up as a sort of HQ. A central (as best we can get) point where everyone can work on projects in relative secrecy and, most importantly, unity.
>>
>>20965261

Understandable. The dwarves are racist to start with.

And this war has not been kind to them.

Are we giving them all the red magrite, or only part of it? (if we haven't already)
>>
>>20965247
How do the dwarves feel about losing the 30 guys?
>>
>>20965281
1A. Slarens and Riverheart might be the only ones capable of facing the Red Dragoness.
>>
>>20965306
(You haven't sent any yet.)

Red Magrite:
1A: Give half the Red magrite to the Dwarves
2A: Give the mine of the Red Magrite to the dwarves
3A: Give all the red magrite to the dwarves but keep the mine
>>
>>20965281
2AWe need to get our pathetic fighting force better equipped and trained.
>>
>>20965281

Torn between 1 and 2
We need more military, but on the other hand, we need a dragon rider who is TRULY attached to his home
>>
>>20965329
2A, we need to somehow reimburse them for the guys the lost in the battle.
>>
>>20965281
2A I think our military needs some work especially considering that the shit is about to hit the fan if the entire tide of the war doesn't turn soon
>>
>>20965329
1A we need some magrite for ourselves and the mines are a strategic control point, that we should keep
>>
>>20965349
1a For the first choice
2a for the mine
>>
>>20965329

3a. As per our agreement, we keep the mine, but the current red magrite is the least we could give, all things considered.

if there are no further red magrite mines, I suggest we share future yields
>>
>>20965281

I have to go with 1A... We lack the numbers for military training to be our first priority.
>>
YO YO YO
>>
>>20965368
The dwarves get most of the red magrite. They are saddened by the lose and greave in the whole town. They all drink plenty of their ale and only their blacksmith keeps sober.

He keeps the Red Magrite and goes to study it himself, wanting to possibly trade for some in the future.

>>
I still say we should give some consideration into utilizing the mines as more than just a resource point. Have the goblins set up a workshop there, and invite the dwarves to do the same.

If nothing else it allows us some privacy, keeping our enemies guessing.

>>
>>20965754

Yes, I can agree to that.
>>
>>20965760

Especially since they wouldn't expect us to do so so soon, however we can expect that they will have more security around the mines. Nothing a good plan can't deal with though.
>>
>>20965760
sounds good
>>
>>20965760

Let's Let's take a mine near the mountains to aid the dwarves. We can also grab weapons from the depot on the way, saving us time.
>>
>>20965798
(weapons it is.)
The smith had been sent the work on the blue magrite. He sent a few swords with blue magrite on the tip.

The swords are very strong and the magrite gives out a good charge of shocks. The spears he sends back are made of iron and the arrows are only bits of Magrite with a little of the red magrite.

At impact these give either a burning power, and sometimes makes a fire start at the impact point.
>>
>>20965724
That's why I asked how easy to defend them. Food for thought.

I do have to agree, better weaponry would not be amiss.
>>
>>20965884
I agree, doing this would strengthen our relationship, however, keep in mind that the mountains are at least a few days away, is this really our best option?
>>
>>20965890
Can we ask Slaren to fly by a near by mine, to see what kind of resistance there is?
>>
>>20965903
(They are easily defended now...but you guys have never stationed someone there.)
>>
>>20965890
do the sizes of the triangles represent the resistance we would face attacking them
>>
>>20965939
Information would be good, but I worry that it's too exposed.

Perhaps a double scouting scenario? Slarens flies near a particular mine a few times, while a small cadre of well hidden goblins check to see if that mine gets any re-inforcements
>>
>>20965962
(Not really. Their just random sizes. It's the Size of the mines themselves. Not the forces inside)
>>
>>20966018
alright, thanks
>>
>>20966015
(So you guys pick a triangle on the map. Then scout it.)
>>
In the last thread I posted a good plan for taking a mine, however that plan was based around the idea it would be a mine close to us. If we're taking a mine near the mountains I say we have Slarens help us. It's time to show what our dragon can do.

>>20966076
The plan was to send a goblin in disguised as a slave, gather info then return to us so we can sneak in and end it quick
I still think we should do this on the biggest mien because the more goblins the easier it will be to slip in
>>
>>20966152
(Your agreed to go against this largest mine. Does all agree to the plans?)
1A: Have Slarens scout
2A: Goblin slave spies
>>
>>20966152
plus the liberated goblins will add to our fighting forces
>>
>>20966152
This gets my vote
>>
>>20966152

Also inciting a slave rebellion would be helpful.
>>
>>20966172
Counterpoint: Have Slarens scout another mine, repeatedly, while a goblin slave spies on the large mine.

>>20966231
I like this as well.
>>
>>20966277
Alright, this is the consolidated proposal.
We have one or two of the goblins sneak into the mine we intend to take, and tell them the exact time we will be assualting the mine.

The plan is that the goblins will then attack the guard from the rear while we smash into the front.

We also send Slarens to draw attention to himself at another mine, one far away from the one we intend to strike, in hopes that any reinforcements are sent there.

Does that sound good?
>>
>>20966277

I like it!
>>
>>20966334
Alright, let's do it
>>
>>20966334
(smart...)

They are getting together. The goblins agree and two of the bravest young goblins get a little beat up. He runs toward the mine, while Slarens takes off. Riverheart flies on his back to distract and shoots a few random beasts off the face of the plains to scare the grey skinned elves.

The goblin informs the slaves after he gets in. The mine is very large, roughly 20 elves and 20 swamp goblins being enslaved and worked. He tells them the time...and then they wait and allow the slaves to get prepared...all slightly sharpening the picks and shovles for the rebellion...

(roll for reaction. Smithy, you there?)
>>
>>20966334
(A nearby mine would be better, they'd be more likely to shift forces from our target to the fake target. I'd say have Slarens scout the mine right under the part that says Grassy Plains. Too far away and they'll just pull reinforcements from a closer mine.)
>>

>>
>>20966476

74?

>>
>>20966518
(Ok. How is that picture coming by the way?)

The rangers and guards sneak with a new, smaller group of dwarves from the mountain. They stay in the shadows of dawn as the grey skins were sleeping in now...A ranger shoots a single arrow at the largest tent causing mass panic with the awaking guards and the slaves who were above ground.

The main forces of the mine were sent to the other mine to defend against Slarens.

The rest of the guards and rangers attack. The Goblins who were fighting from the inside with the elves steal anything they can use as weapons. Soon they could even see a large drow in heavy armor.

Arrows of the Magrite seem not to be hard enough to piece the armor. Soon they fear for the one on one combat before it turns into a small chicken and then fried by a blast of magic from the cave.

Out walks a large elf, wearing albet muddy robes, he looked as if he were royalty. He stomps on the chicken and the rest cheer as they cause the rest to flee into the harsh mountains.

All the elves and goblins were saved, all but 2 enemy goblins and elves were slain. The mine is very large.

20 swamp goblins with 10 Normal Forest elves are saved. Along with the new magical user elf.

On another note, I say we keep up this momentum we have, utilize the good morale gained from this victory. Make a move towards the mine that Slarens was hitting, then shift towards the mine just south of the one we just captured.
>>
>>20966923

The red dragon seemed wary of Slarens. Moving to that mine could be a good bet. Seconded
>>
>>20966844
What?)

Waterstone leads the elf to one of the smaller mines...a few goblins from the swamps have started to guard the other mines while the Dwarves get this mine.

The goblins wear hodpog old armor of leather and a bit of iron they find around. They stay by the mines and on down time they sit around fires and sing different songs.

Lord Adren is led back to the village, while Slarens is still away on a flight with Riverheart from the distractions. He is told all about what has been happening with the 'drow' and mountain goblins. He seems indifferent to the swamp goblins and finds them rather odd. The humans don't interest him and he is rather rude to most except for the apprentices and Waterstone.

He hears the flapping of the wings as Slarens and Riverheart land, it had become around noon and he raises his arms seeing Slarens was a Black dragon.

He whirls to Waterstone and shouts "You dare hold a...A Chromatic Dragon? In your home? Are you mad?"

Slarens growls and rolls his eyes saying "Great...another one of the 'mighty then thou' metalic lover..." He goes into his large hut with Riverheart following behind reading the dragon rider manual glaring at this new stranger...

"I cannot let you in good heart not know what that...monster can do." He says.

1A: Heed his words
2A: Tell him off for bad mouthing our dragon.
>>

Waterstone asks why they cannot trust or have it in the village.

"Well...For one it is a Chromatic dragon. A cruel side of all Dragons. They are not the wise and kind Metalics. Who serve the gods faithfully while the chromatics are heretics to all but their own gods. They think they are better than all...he has you all serving him." Lord Arden.

"He is probably just at odds with that red dragoness and they may just want to get rid of all your races around this area."

>>"He's never done anything against us...He even trusted Riverheart ,his rider, to come with him to a black dragon meeting just a few months ago...bringing back eggs aswell."

"Eggs?! Your letting the beast spawn?!" He shouts glaring as Slarens watches him, his eyes clear in the sun shining.

"You better drop that attitude elfy..." Said one of the guards. "We rather like our big scaley friend...he's more of a help then you probably can."

Lord Arden drops it and glares walking closer to the fire and away from most except for the other elves which he only speaks in another language.

We REALLY can't have this cunt sowing discontent in our village. I say he "disappears" one night.
>>

>>
>>20966951
It's not doubt we need him as an ally. Is there any way that we can point out that Slarens has already been very helpful in liberating his (adren) own kin?

>>20966953
I had thought about that, but there is minimal risk here. If we fail to take the next mine we can fall back and consolidate. If we succeed and face a massive counter attack, we've already gained a fair amount of manpower, some resources and (potentially) a powerful new ally, so it would be a small loss to abandon one of the mines, inflicting as many enemy casualties as possible (scorched earth?) and regroup.
>>
>>20967081

He clearly doesn't realize that we don't give a shit if it's evil, just so long as it doesn't screw with us. Besides, its been our plan all along to have dragon mounts.

I'd also like to applaud Samson for telling him what's what. (We all know he's the only guard with enough balls to say that.)
>>
>>20967109
dunno, he is a LORD the other elves might not like it, may even blame the dragon, no we have to keep him alive

Elfish Woes
1A: Ignore this for now...
2A: Confront him about it.
3A: Have him go somewhere else...There are enough elves to go back to their village to fix it up and be relatively safe.

Slarens informs Riverheart that the eggs have been moving a little in their acid pools...but he worries about the baby dragons with the elfish mage. He wishes to perhaps move them into the goblin village, they see him as a king of the swamp from legends.

1A: Have him send his eggies there.
2A: Don't let him...might not be safe
3A: Suggestion

on a side note having a conversation with tree takes forever. only my talking mushrooms keep me awake long but I keep on seeing things.
>>

Fantasy: where comics and racism collide!

This could seriously harm our relationship with the elves though. They must not be keen on trading one chromatic for another. Yet based on our previous actions, Slarens knows that we can be trusted with his horde and hold his interests on par with our own. I see no reason to heed the elf's warnings.
>>
>>20967109

There's no way I could abide by such a plan.

3A; let us allow the elves to return to their village. We can even help rebuild it for them.

The elf lord is...informed by Riverheart and the other elves that the old village of the local elves is ready to be lived in again. The numbers of the elves are well large enough and, with his 'oh so mighty magic' he can keep them safe.

The Elf lord falls for their compliments and he goes up the river. He shows slight..disdain for the huts and tree top homes saying 'My village was not like this...must more clean."

Riverheart, Slarens, Waterstone, and the leaders of the goblin tribe are brought together in Slarens's home. They explain the situation and split the eggs up. The leaders of the goblin tribe promise that they would die for the egg. While Riverheart thinks of a place for him to hide the egg he was intrusted with. Slarens keeps the rest in their normal spot in the metal cask of acid.

The goblins keep it in a hollowed out totem pole with slight magrite lining so it does not melt around the acid of the egg.

Riverheart keeps his egg's location a secrete and writes a few things in the journal. The elf maiden didn't leave with the rest of the elves...seems she is uncomfertable as the dragon around this new 'elf lord' not to mention the odd looks she was getting from him...

1A: Scout another mine
2A: Go help the Dwarves some more, perhaps get the info on the Red Magrite.
3A: Bumrush a mine

now that that is a cheap shot. Trees are assholes who if u can get to speak with u and not ignore your presence will fuck with u because of how bored they are. Of course they wont say that oh no that use the excuse of showing the foolish, young, and fleshy movers their ways. bullshit. then there is the way communicate with them. their language is incredibly long worded and slow spoken. its so bad as to be painful even when they speed it up for u. as for the forest spirit what I found has come from the talking delicious mushrooms and its not much. what I got is the spirit when it bothers wonders the forest problrm is u cant see it unless it desires to be visible but it is ALSO the very forest itself. rather your better off finding a forest gaurdian and good luck finding one of those.
>>
>>20967439
its official trees are assholes.
>>
>>20967493
The two races who have gotten the two copies of the tomes have made a bit of progress in their own fields.

The Dwarves have found that they could use the books to make something they call 'Giant's Arms' in referances to how a giant throws stones in the mountains. They aren't accurate and take much effort and pines in the mountains to build them.

The goblins took a different approach. They had looked through and found that they could make something akin to a forge without using coal or wood.

Instead they learned of the swampy muck to use as much better fuel and has passed on the skills to the humans. The dwarves had kept their 'Giant's Arms' to themselves as it would be too difficult to get across the plains. Now the humans have a forge. When asked where the books came from, the dwarves only said.

"Seems the very wee ones made these...far to the south 'cross the desert."
>>
>>20967526

I meant no offense, but with the current state of affairs some progress would be nice.

Our Philosopher brings up a good point though, how connected are the river and forest spirit?
>>
>>20967561
The dwarves also have mined more of the Red Magrite and had the humans help move the stuff. They found that the heat was very powerful. The skill to make anything bigger than an arrow head with it was rare but one dwarf managed to make a battle ax with one side Blue and one side Red Magrite.

>>
>>20967631

>>
>>20967664
That's what I meant. It could absorb fire, then we could reflect it back.
>>
>>20967631

We would probably need multiple such shields. This may require a greater inflow of red magrite? We should move against mines still.

We should remember what happened to 30 dwarves in one pass...
>>
>>20967684
Some rolls, just have to happen. But yeah, on the mines. We could even discover different types of magrite while doing so.

(You'd have to roll for some shit like that.)

Now...
The dwarves and goblins are ready for a little revenge...the month is closing to an end and the dwarves are planning another attack on two mines.

The humans are asked to attack one mine while the dwarves attack the others. The largest mine will draw attention away from the dwarves, while letting them help take the others sweeping toward the largest with a large slave revolt.

1A: Agree to this plan
2A: Make the dwarves distract. You sweep.
3A: Suggestion

>>
>>20967831

Bring out the big guns! Slarens, Riverheart, and a lot of heavily armed Guards. Of course we're also going to have some Rangers there too, but we'll keep them concealed. Since the point is to be a distraction, we'll fight trying to minimize our losses while making ourselves as noticeable as possible.
>>
>>20967831

For the fight itself, we are expecting the dwarves to lead a slave revolt towards us?

We should focus more on keeping pressure. Archer attack, followed by a charge. This coupled with an uprising inside the cave should throw our foes off balance.
>>
>>20967739
1A. As before, we sneak in a goblin spy and start a slave revolt, but we tell them specifically not to take any action until the attack is already underway. They will have told each other about what happened, the slave revolt signalling and impending attack and will be leery if the slaves rise up.

(Better than you thought)

Slarens and Riverheart lead the battle...staying high in the cloudy night on the final days of the month. The rest of them walk toward their battle field, the day before a goblin team was sent in to attack from the inside with the slaves.

The dwarves had not yet attack and would start when they say the flare from a spell from Riverheart around the mountain.

Soon the rangers were in place near the cliffs near the mine. It was in a small gully and they were easily hidden.

At first...Nothing happened. The night was dark...not one of their enemies had seen them...but suddenly, through the clouds a loud bellowing roar sounded, a flare shot through the clouded night singling all from all around that the battle had begun.

Slarens swooped low, breathing his acidic spit on many of the heaviest and large of the goblins and drow whilest Riverheart shot a few with his lightning.

The goblins clashed with their brothers, the only way you could tell the difference was the dirty brown and the swampy green skins.

The apprentices and waterstone were going against another two mages on the side of the Drow...they swapped many a blows on the landscape and none hit one another.

Asrid got lucky with a stay fire ball, it wasn't weak but it was ment to just bang. It made the Slaves scream running out with thier improvised weapons and kill the mages with the picks and shovels.

A few shots from bows came raining down on waves of goblins trying to flank their main soldiers.

But in the Distance...they saw it. Something they were dreading but knowing would happen. The red dragoness.

Slarens and Riverheart flew high into the sky...ready to face the Dragoness in battle.

The Red Dragoness was unknowingly going into the Trap. With no rider...she had but herself in the battle whilest her slightly smaller enemy had Riverheart.

She roared a challenge which Slarens took no time to answer, except with a charge. Riverheart held onto his mount's spines chanting magical spells while they locked claws in the air...

Riverheart would have fallen. He would have died if not for the whisteling Slaren had heard as he broke away from the red in time. The dragoness could only turn to see the boulder with a small, grey haired dwarf with a dual bladed axe of Blue and Red.

Slarens and Riverheart knew they could not interfere with this now. The Dwarf would subdue the dragoness, or he would fall and then they would slay her.

The dwarf hacked away, shaking the Dragoness's horns making fresh wounds burn from the Red side of the ax, and the wings go numb with the blue side.

In a final blow, he found a place where her neck scales were weak and dug the blue magrite into her flesh. The blood flood over the blade as the magical charge of the dragon blood made the whole beast fall from the sky.

"CATCH ME BLACK DRAGON!" The old dwarf yelled as he fell. Riverheart and Slaren dove to the rescue, catching the dwarf in the last few second before he smashed onto the stones. The battle drew on until the rest of the dwarven battle force came from behind, with roughly 30 goblins and 20 more elves.

The Red Dragoness had fallen against the stones in her desent...Slaren checked her after the battle and knew, she was just in a state of pure shock and would slip into unconsciousness when the stun wore off.

No men were lost...all the slaves were freed...the swamp goblin tribe is now all fine and dandy with 70 of their people back.

.
>>
The dwarves and the elves lit fires, the goblins made it change colors with powders and chants. Slarens destroyed the chains of oppression the slaves still wore with his acid...this was a day of a great victory...

The final days of the 8th month and the first day of the 9th would now be a celebration for all the races...The Goblins of the Swamp tribes.
The Elves of the forest.
The Dwarves of the mountains.
And the humans, that have held them all together.

Most of the goblins are given to the dwarves to interrogate. While the Drow are ordered to be questioned by the elves.

The dwarves start to quick work of a magical and powerful collar and chains for the dragoness's neck and wings.

It would be able to be activated by charging magic into one of the many chains hanging down to shock her around her weak areas of her armor while not letting her fly once it was activated. She is chained to the inside of the large mine and under constant guard.

The elves tell that the drow are the only ones to have been to the Red's horde...this peaks Slarens interest and they say it was supposedly some sort of large cavern along with a tower that none were aloud to enter...even though the dragoness would not even fit inside.

The dwarves tell them that the goblins only had the basics of a tribal deal with the Drow. That the goblins were getting food in the form of odd mushrooms that grew like wildfire in the darkness.
