Quest threads are forever...
They are all I need to run with...
We can have a lot of fun with...
They won't get deleted in the night, I've no fear that they might!

Quest threads are forever...
Vote one up and then read through it...
Post it, archive it and view it...
I can see every reply, every character dies...
to low rolls!

I don't need luck... for what good will luck do me?
Quest threads never die on me...
For when luck's gone... they'll still roll on!!

Quest threads are forever...
Sometimes chock full of zingers...
Unlike players, the quest threads linger...
Players are mere mortals whom characters go to their grave for!

I don't need luck, for what good will luck do me?
The dice-roller always screws me...
And when luck's gone... we'll still roll on!

Quest threads are forever, forever, forever!

Quest threads are forever, forever, forever!

Forever and eeeeeeever!

TG QUEST!
>>
>>21061278
Okay, so, reading through the archives, I'm not seeing that there actually was a TG base in the Quarantine Zone.
Only Branch Offices were C&C, Dark Matter, Shadowrun, and Fallout.
Fallout is dead.
C&C is where we are.
Shadowrun is working.
Dark Matter is unknown.

We need to try to contact Yellowman, set up a rendezvous.
>>
Last thread: http://suptg.thisisnotatrueending.com/archive/20978779/

Day 16.

When last we left our intrepid command crew, whom I need to find a different adjective for at some point, they were resting, re-arming, and planning for their next thrilling mission into the heart of the chaos that is their sector. With two temporary helpers and a new recruit along with vital information garnered for the G-Man, they ready themselves for the next conflict they must triumph in!
>>
>>21061278
MetaOp, we were discussing it in the IRC Chat. Can you discribe how the SY-3 stacks up against a TIE-D?

I told them how it works in the NES game, but official confirmation from you would be nice. I'm trying to convince them to make some.
>>
>>21061347
The TIE-D would get hilariously destroyed.

The SY-3 is a miraculous weapon.
>>
>>21061395
I told them that! I told them that it takes off Half of godzilla's life in one missile barrage and only takes 1 - 2 clicks of damage to it's own life bar from his atomic breath, but they want "hard numbers".
>>
>>21061395
And this is when it's not within its own Canon, but is actually fighting other spacecraft that have shields, able to handle hundreds of G's of acceleration, and have their own plethora of weapons that can vaporize asteroids?

Just want to be sure that we don't make a dozen of these things and they get their asses kicked when we go up against some other space fleet.

The wiki for the SY-3 basically has jack shit for its specs.
>>
>>21061423
You just gave them hard numbers. 1-2 clicks of health of damage vs. about 15 in attack value.
>>
>>21061454
So this thing can take multiple quantum torpedo salvoes and stand up to the main turbolaser batteries of the Guardian without any shields?
What about anti-teleportation defenses?
>>
>>21061437
Well Godzilla's atomic breath is probably about as powerful as a capital grade weapon and the SY-3 can shrug it off. Given its size and performance in the games, it's probably a bit faster than a modern day jet fighter, but a little less agile. So massive firepower and armor, with respectable speed and OK agility.

But you have the 8BD version, so the tech level they had to start with was already enough to make Arwings and the like. As such, I can concretely say what I just said is fact here, since you don't have the pure canon version anyway.
>>
>>21061482
Not sure about q. torpedoes, but it could tank a few turbolaser hits. It doesn't not come equipped with anti-teleportation defenses, no.
>>
>>21061513

Given the current size of our troops complement, I'd like to have Star Lord start running platoon and company sized drills for our infantry. We also need to get those Mammoths crewed and trained up
>>
>>21061564
Remember to have ground troops run through Ninja combat and Mecha/Kaiju combat situations and proceedures for both.
>>
>>21061564
You have enough warm bodies due to the Valiance's demise, you just need to train them.

Star-Lord begins drawing up plans for drills for the troops to run through when not on duty, consulting with Darius since the Space Marines pretty much do that all day already.
>>
>>21061564
>>21061594
That's a stupid idea for the troops involved. They are all specialist squads, and are not suited for those kinds of mass deployments.
>>
>>21061594
Star-Lord heaves a sigh and begins to draw up plans for those too.
>>
>>21061627

We need to be prepared for anything. Yes, they're great at team and squad level tactics, but given where we're going, we might need them to fight as a larger unit. We might not NEED the training, but you never know.
>>
>>21061533
Photon torpedoes are written to have a 1.5kg antimatter warhead, resulting in a 64.4 megaton yield.
Quantum Torpedoes have double the yield, so about 128 megatons per torpedo.
>>
>>21061627
>mass deployments.
>Ninja combat
>Suggesting the Ninja Combat drill isn't just "Don't get involved, call Ryu."

That's adorable, you're adorable.
>>
>>21061669
And instead of having each squad training for better integration, you're having them all train as one large unit that doesn't take advantage of their individual specializations and strengths.

Your plan is fucking terrible. Star-Lord is better served working with Darius on having the teams work together but as separate units that take advantage of their specialties.
>>
>>21061513
>massive firepower and armor, with respectable speed and OK agility.
That sounds more like an anti-capital ship corvette rather than an anti-strike fighter.

We'd have to include a Transporter Jammer on each one to protect them from teleportation attacks.

With a 15% of our R&D Dept. allocated to modifying the SY-3 design for mass replication by the Spirit of Triumph, how quickly can it be done?
>>
>>21061712
Specialties don't help if they're on foot and they get caught in a Ninja or Kaiju fight. They're considered "Faceless Expendable Troops" and will get turned into a fine mist by Ninja, or just ignored and stepped on by most Kaiju.

The only shit that they could reliably take down on foot are stuff like Armored Troopers, Early UC Gundams and Patlabors.
>>
>>21061712

You don't understand how platoon and company level formations work, do you? Just because they're fighting together doesn't mean whoever is in command will ignore their strengths, you moron, it just means that they're fighting as part of a larger unit while using said strengths. Holy fuck do you not know how to military?
>>
What was the last transmission from Yellowman?
We should make his recovery a high priority. Especially since now that we are separated from command, we no longer have access to reliable intel or scanners. Yellowman has a fast, small, and sensor heavy meta-capable ship. Getting him back in one piece, and resupplied will be a major benefit.

>just my two cents worth.
>also, what is the IRC channel?
>>
>>21061746
With only 15%? Two weeks minimum before they're ready.
>>
>>21061808

Two weeks outside or two weeks inside the pocket plane?
>>
>>21061808
Outside.
>>
>>21061768
None of our ground troops should be used in a kaiju fight; the only things that should be engaging something of that size is Mechagodzilla and orbital bombardments by Singularity Laser.
We already were on the kaiju end of a kaiju vs. ground troops battle, why would we do what has always failed to work?

As for ninjas, that's why we have Ryu and why we kept all other troops away when we did find another ninja.

In both examples you give, working together or not, any ground troops would be soundly defeated, so the best course of action would be to retreat. Why even bring it up?

>>21061772
Our troops already fight together with Star-Lord and Darius leading their efforts. None of what you say is at all useful to us, since they've proven they can fight together as a cohesive group.
>>
>>21061901

No, they've proven they can fight as independent sections under a commander, instead a truly cohesive unit. There IS a difference.
>>
>>21061901
Because the new guys need to know too, and it's important to go over these things regularly while holding squad and unit level tactics to make sure they're reinforced.

Hell, the Protoss should probably sit in on the "Inane Laws of the Meta" seminar.
>>
>>21061888
Send these research priorities down to Egon:
50% Transpace Lance
25% Advanced Aglaophotis/Aglaophotis-B
15% SY-3 Schematics
10% SUE-Cure

Did Yellowman give a frequency that he could be contacted at, or when his next transmission would be?
>>
>>21061948

Ditch the SUE cure, for now, I think the SY-3 is a bigger priority at this point for effective combat use. At 25% it should take us 2 days inside our pocket plane, then we can put thta 25% towards the cure.
>>
>>21061807
Dunno how I missed this.

Yellowman's last transmission, as stated previously, was...

>"There was an encrypted transmission from Yellowman a day ago. He appears to be on the run, and claims to have collected vital data concerning Black Ops. He also brought word... and it's not good. The Transpace Guard is beginning to fall apart. The Black Ops televised a speech by Page in which he more or less assumed command and charged the most prominent faction leaders with treason. Everyone is breaking apart into factions, and the battlefleet causing the reality distortion was attacked again by another one of our fleets. We weren't able to ID who it was though. They're dead now, whoever they were."
>>
>>21061917
There's been no indications in any of our battles that there are cohesion problems.
Rather, we have several squads which require power armor training and that will lead to better individual survivability.
>>
>>21062079
Okay, but he hasn't provided a comm frequency we can contact him at? No rendezvous point, or when we can next expect to hear from him?
Are we able to get a fix on his location?
>>
>>21062115
IIRC, you've had his comm frequency for a while now. You can try to contact him, but depending on where he is, he may or may not be able to answer.
>>
>>21062079
Has our transmission of Page's betrayal of the Command Council had any effect among the Messiah and Moderate Factions?
What about communications from neighboring Sector HQ's?
>>
>>21062130
Then let's try to contact him.

Make sure that the engineering teams are installing the Industrial Replicators, and that the Hercules and the Spirit make some extra Repair Scarabs and Support Frigates to take up the slack on repairing the Storm.
Have the Industrial Replicators on the AUH produce mobile emitters with Emergency Engineering Holograms to assist with repairs.
>>
>>21062137
The Storm has not received any such communications.

The Messiahs and Moderates have forged a tentative alliance to oppose the Black Ops, but they are having difficulty consolidating their power in the middle of all the chaos.
>>
>>21062166
Is Holtz still bed-ridden? Can Lazarus put him in the magic cryokit for accelerated healing?

Also, this >>21062158
>>
Rolled 11

>>21062158
Taking away all your engineers to focus on Replicator installation will halt all other projects, but complete the installation in one day. Proceed?

>>21062200
He is, and he can, but it won't help.
>>
>>21062241
>11
You try to contact Yellowman, but you can't seem to get through to him today.
>>
>>21062241

Do it. We'll eat the cost but it should result in overall time saved.

How's Shepard and Spike doing, BTW? And Bruce and Regina's tour?
>>
>>21062264
Have we showed Bruce and Regina our MechaGodzilla yet?
>>
>>21062241
Yes, put all engineers on installing the replicators and have the automated nano-repair systems take up the slack. With the Repair Scarabs and Support Frigates, the productivity loss should be minimal.

Also, get the TG Soldiers, MetPharm High-Sec, Dystopian Squad, and Zombie Hunters trained on power armor.
The High-Sec will get the Enclave Armor, TG Soldiers the Hellfire Armor, and the others will get the T-44d.

Also, the ZAX 1.2 is a research AI; can we use it to do the schematic conversions, and therefore speed up how quickly vehicle schematics will be ready to be replicated?
>>
>>21062264
You give the orders, and by next day, the Replicators stand ready.

Shepard is keeping to himself, mostly. He spends a fair amount of time at the ship's bar and a fair amount of time in the shooting ranges. Spike gave him a tour of the armory, and he said it looked like he paid attention to everything, but didn't really react.

Bruce and Regina's tour went fairly well, Bruce exhibiting far more enjoyment than that stoic Regina. Select scenes will be posted later.

Day 17
>>
>>21062296
Also, have Doc Lazarus take a look at the NEMEAN and PHEONIX implant technologies; can he reprogram nanites to do the implantation and make the implants less obvious?

Also, did the G-Man allow Cheryl to keep the hard drives we recovered from the Chernobyl NPP on Noosphere research? If so, get them down to R&D for Egon to look over.
>>
>>21062296
Not exactly. The engineers can spend half a day to plug it into your labs where it acts as its own research team effectively giving you another 20 X-COM scientists or so.

Your engineering teams want to know the priority of repair for the Storm. What gets fixed first? Right now it has basic power, communications, labs, and engineering.
>>
>>21062329
Cheryl sends the disks down. The sheer amount of data within them is amazing, it will take time (research project) to analyze them.

>>21062329
He can, but it will take time (research project).
>>
>>21062351
I wanted to put ZAX 1.2 in Sector HQ to run independent projects, but I suppose being inside the Storm is another option. CAN ZAX be installed in Sector HQ and work effectively? Or does it need to be installed in the Storm?

Priority:
Power, Engines, Shields, Scanners, Weapons.

All replicators save 3 out of 9 will be tasked with replicating Mobile Emitters with Emergency Engineering Holograms.
Replicator 7 will be used to replicate spare components as needed.
Replicator 8 and 9 will replicate standard Cortical Stacks and Mobile Emitters with Emergency Medical Holograms. All remaining Task Force personnel who do not have cortical stacks, as well as everyone else at Sector HQ. Once the Cortical Stacks are built, Replicator 8 will make the medical equipment needed by the EMH's.
>>
>>21062351

All drives, armor, shields. Weapons can be done after we restore integrity and get drives and engineering up to snuff to assist.
>>
>>21062368
Can we contact the Vault? How are they holding up under this chaos?
Also, do they have research facilities? Can we pawn some of the lower-priority research projects off on them?
>>
>>21062392
Sector HQ is still hilariously understaffed, underpowered, and screwed up in general. You'd estimate ZAX would run far more effectively in your own research facilities.

Your engineers estimate that full power should be restored to the ship in two days time, already accounting for the time speed up. This includes some amount of repair to other systems, such as repairing the power lines to the weapons.
>>
>>21062432
They have a basic research lab, it's not impossible for them to take up a little of the slack. And yes, you can.
>>
>>21062351

Oh, before we forget, we should invite Tassadar and some of his command personnel over to the AUH for a meet and greet, and to brief them on the various things they need to about the meta and whatnot. In addition, we can ask if they would be willing to assist Cheryl in some training of her abilities.
>>
>>21062439
Well then.
Have them open up an encrypted channel with a lot of bandwidth, because they're going to need it.

Send them all of the research we have on the TIE-D/Wily project idea, making the TIE Defender compatible with Soulchip technology, integrating a Light/Wily style positronic brain (which should be better than a Cybot Ace-6 droid), and making the design compatible with both the Creation Engine and the Hiigaran Phased Disassembler Array.
Also Creation Engine Database Updates for Marauder Suits, Space Marine Power Armor, VF-25, Mad Cats, Reality Disruptor Tank HWP.

And Synthetic Elerium if they can do it.
>>
"That's... that's a tall order, 38," Base Commander Ferricelli comments as you give him the orders. "We'll do what we can... I think we can manage the Mad Cat upgrade in four days, to start. Sound good?" he pauses. "Since you have Dr. Cossack and Data, I think you'd be better off researching the TIE-DrW yourself. Your staff knows infinitely more about advanced robotics than mine."
>>
>>21062626
"I know, Commander Ferricelli. But we live in tumultuous times.
"We're also sending over all of the current information we have on the reasons for Black Ops' betrayal, their use of SHODAN, and the Meta Faction known as the Great Crusade that decided to bust down our doors and start acting like Team America Metaverse Police."

Alright, so we'll have the engineers install ZAX in the Storm.

That's two days that the Storm is out of commission, but that we can still go places thanks to the All Under Heaven.

Continue attempting to contact Yellowman while we continue with repairs and upgrades.

We also need to prepare to leave for the Dark Matter Canon. One of our bases is there, and if the natives get that technology, then we'll have another mess on our hands.
>>
I feel like we should clear the last lynchpin, the one with the New Chaos vs Void Engineers?
Like while we could let the Grand Crusade crush them, I'd wager that doing it ourselves would net us some extra resources to take down the mystery super-SUE as well as SHODAN.
>>
>>21062685

The Great Crusade is coming for the super SUE. We need to take it out first.

At the least, that will hopefully allow us to peacefully contact Crusade command and explain da fuck is happening.
>>
>>21062685
But the Great Crusade is already nearing the Quarantine Zone. We lose any leverage we might have if they already make contact with the Zone before we take out the Arch-SUE that's there.
Also, we need more ships ready if we're going to be taking on the Void Engineers and New Chaos. We're already down one Star Destroyer, and the Storm won't even have working shields or weapons for at least a few more days.
>>
Guys, where's the sector map?
>>
>>21062671
We can leave for the Dark Matter Canon as soon as all Sector HQ personnel are implanted with Cortical Stacks, and a secure backup server is built.

We can continue resource collection and repair operations in the Oort Cloud, and even in the asteroid belt, of the Dark Matter Canon. At most, we would lose about 30 minutes for making the transit and re-deploying all of the resource collectors.

Let's get this done.

Also, MetaOP, research has been working, correct? They're not waiting on us to finalize anything, are they?
>>
>>21062671
"I'll parcel out all that information to my men. Thanks 38. And tell Holtz to get better soon, he STILL owes me a drink after the Renraku fiasco."

The engineers install ZAX and then begin working on the power systems. The Storm should have full power by Day 20, midday.
>>
>>21062727

If we're taking on the Super-SUE, would it not behoove us to research the SUE cure as soon as possible? The G-man told us that stopping the SUE before it knew what we were setting out to do would be our best bet, then toppling his/her subordinates, but I doubt that any sort of ordnance short of a reality bomb or something would harm such a creature. If we get the SUE cure up and running, we might be able to turn the super-SUE into a super-regular person with delusions of grandeur instead.
>>

>>21062802
No, research is proceeding. So you're waiting to produce and fit all the surviving HQ personnel with Cort Stacks before heading out?

>>21062785
Here you go.
>>
>>21062824

Also true, but I was thinking lightspeed weapons from light-minutes away would be instant enough, though without knowing the SUEs powers we don't even know if we'd be able to get close enough to dose him, or if bombardment would work. We also don't know what forces he's managed to co-opt. We have too many unknowns at the moment.
>>
>>21062873
That's actually out of date, the brown circle should be almost touching the pink one now.
>>
>>21062873
>waiting to produce and fit all the surviving HQ personnel with Cort Stacks before heading out?
No, there's no need to. As long as we know how many people there are, we can make the appropriate number of cortical stacks, and just put them in our cargo holds. Same with the EMH-programmed Mobile Emitters.
With 4 seconds per cortical stack, we should be able to get it done fairly quickly.
The Sector HQ personnel will get implanted once we come back from the Dark Matter Canon.

>>21062906
The pink circle is where the New Chaos and Void Engineer forces are fighting over the S.T.O.B., isn't it?

I was actually expecting the Great Crusade to move around it and make for the Quarantine Zone.
If they're going to contact the Void Engineer/New Chaos fight, then we may need to rethink our plans.
Also, did you go with 25% to SY-3 research, or only 15%?
>>
>>21062906
And what's in the pink one again?
>>
>>21062958
Battleground between New Chaos and Void Engineers. They're fighting over S.T.O.B.'s and similar devices.
>>
>>21062906
So that means that the Crusade will be passing through that area first?
Them fighting the Void Engineers and New Chaos could give us time to defeat the Arch-SUE, but I kind of feel like that would be a dick move on our part.
I mean we did pretty much... ignore them and focus on every other lynchpin first.
>>
>>21062969
Wasn't the whole point of trying to kill the Arch SUE ourselves that we didn't want the Great Crusade to think they're fighting our battles for us or whatever?
>>
>>21062995
Yes, this is the problem.
The Great Crusade was expected to go around the battleground, not ram straight into it like cops going to a newly opened Dunkin' Donuts.

Like I said, this changes our plans.
>>
Quick question: if we're spending a few days of downtime to get our shit ready, would we have time to go petition Tassadar or some of the notable High Templar to give Cheryl some psionic training/tips/whatever? Or have some of our psychics see if she can learn anything else from them? She can already send psionic messages to and from people, but having a psionic network that was very similar to the Khala helped out tremendously in the battle against the Orz.
>>
>>21062955
Yeah, 25%.

So you're headed to the Dark Matter base now?
>>
>>21063068
I am voting yes.

Have all ships prepare for Meta-transit to come out behind the Moon. The Spirit will hyperspace jump resource collectors and mobile refineries to the asteroid belt. The Indefatigable will cloak and get closer to the planet and see what happened to our base.

Also, how many personnel, approximately, are at Sector HQ? And we've got everyone in the Task Force implanted with cortical stacks now, correct?

>>21063052
Talking to Tassadar doesn't take that much time.

After explaining the situation to him, he states he can assign a High Templar to act as the girl's tutor for a time, or at least try to. While being aware of the psionic potential of humans (Kerrigan), protoss disciplines have never been taught to a human before (that he knows of).

Speaking of Tassadar, when you guys are talking about ships and fleets, please remember you have the Protoss Fleet at your disposal for the time being as well
>>
>>21063068
I suppose so.
Can ANON calculate how long it would take the Great Crusade to reach the area where New Chaos and the Void Engineers are fighting, assuming the Crusade maintains their current speed?
>>
>>21063120
Wasn't he keeping most of the Protoss Fleet at the C&C Canon Earth in order to set up his colony and protect it from the Scrin?
Are the Protoss compatible with the Cortical Stack?
>>
>>21063120

I thought they were all staying. If Tassadar wants to send a few ships with us, he's more than welcome to, but it isn't necessary.
>>
>>21063120
If Tassadar could lend us an Arbiter, to help cloak our forces, that would be useful in this trip. I was under the impression that he needed most of his fleet in the short term to set up his colony and tiberium harvesting operation on Earth. If that's not the case, then an Arbiter and a High Templar tutor would be helpful in this trip to the Dark Matter Canon. Also a Carrier and some Scouts.
>>
>>21063185
No they are not.
The fleet is currently holding there, but their numbers far exceed what is necessary to guard the budding colony.

>>21063126
Anywhere from two days to a week given how erratic the Crusade's speed is. ANON notes it does not know how the Crusade will react to encountering the battleground. It may attempt to charge through, go around, or even become a third faction fighting over the area.
>>
What happened to our looters? What's the status of Plan Digimon and Netnavi?
>>
>>21063283
Tassadar detaches a Carrier support group to assist you, considering of 1 Carrier, 1 Arbiter, 24 Scouts, and assorted ground forces.
>>
>>21063292
Plan: Hey, Forte. Wanna come fight a stupid AI bitch who says she's stronger then you?
>>
>>21063292
Last thread people were saying to send them after Yellowman, and I remember a few wanted to send them to loot Commander Shepard/ME stuff, but I don't think anything was decided for sure?
>>
>>21063284
>Anywhere from two days to a week given how erratic the Crusade's speed is.
So we should take care of the Battleground swiftly. We'll deal with it as soon as we have the SY-3 ready.

Also, while we're doing this, send the Looter team to the Mass Effect Canon. We need them to acquire hard-suits, a selection of personal weapons (ME1 versions that don't require the clips), omni-tools (as much as they can get), stand-alone kinetic barriers, medi-gel, and some Element Zero.
Take Al'Kesh 1 and half a dozen Resource Collectors.
>>
>>21063334
>send them after Yellowman
I'd vote for this, but we don't have his coordinates or where he's going to be.
>Mass Effect
Getting another hard-suit for Cheryl, more omni-tools, and some Mass Effect weapons to replace standard guns would be better.
>>
>>21063284
Hm.
I feel like we should take them down, because that could serve as a way to give the Crusade a good impression of us, and if I understand it correctly, should also put us in good books with the TSAB.
>>
>>21063427

Should we attempt contact with the Great Crusade at this point? It's probably risky given how SHODAN is probably using them to get rid of excess TG forces that she doesn't need to have around, but opening up a dialogue and letting them know that there are TG members who don't want to kill them might help.
>>
>>21063427
>put us in good books with the TSAB.
We did promise the TSAB that we would help out their Dimensional Navy in eliminating the Chaos and Void Engineer threat.
However, due to a series of unfortunate events, we've been tied up with other things.

And the Void Engineers. We need to kill them completely. They're the magitech equivalent of the Borg; they WILL adapt to anything we throw at them, if given a chance to escape.
>>
>>21063339
The last ME plan was also to try and recruit Shepard/SR-2 crew. Did you want to try that or are you sticking to the gear?
>>
>>21063479
Not yet, because we've been told that we need leverage first.
Maybe after we clean up the Battleground.
Best is after we take care of the Quarantine Zone.

>>21063492
I want to stick to the gear. It's easier, we'll have them back here faster, and there's less chance of complications.
>>

I think at this point, actions would speak louder than words.
Like we could point them out to the Ah! My Goddess deities, as well as the Three Hyrulian goddesses to put in a good word for us.
...I think they'd have nice things to say about us maybe?
>>
>>21063516

If they truly are going world to world for whatever eason, they'll probably hear that stuff about us anyway. Mysterious forces who do good and claim to be mysterious people, then vanish as quickly as they came while leaving nothing behind.

They'll probably expect us to do that shit anyway because it's in our best interests, but showing them that we have the health of this sector as a priority is a plus. Taking care of the Void Engies or the Super-SUE before the Crusade rolls over them, as the G-man intimated, will show that we take our responsibilities very seriously.
>>
Rolled 90

>>21063504
Sticking to the gear is a guaranteed success, the roll here is just to see how much you get.

The All Under Heaven begins preparations for transit. Soon enough your stomachs are twisted from transpace jumping, and you arrive 2 AU out from Earth.
>>
>>21063575
...To me, I kind of feel like the Void Engineers and New Chaos might me more dangerous than the mystery SUE and his horrible lieutenants.
>>
>>21063588
...How much do we get?
Evidently, we get almost all of it.
>>
>>21063588
>2 AU out
Deploy the Arbiters!
All Under Heaven, begin scans of the local space for any reality distortions.

Indefatigable, activate cloak and warp to Earth orbit. Give us sensor sweeps and make sure that the asteroid belt is clear of any power sources.
Once the Inde gives the all clear, the Spirit will make a hyperspace jump to the asteroid belt and be protected by the Protoss Carrier Group.

The Indefatigable will then attempt to contact our base in the Mulder Building.

Also, have Vitun get some diamonds together, and begin True Ressurrecting Gaunt.
>>
>>21063605
Quite possible, but the Great Crusade is about to hit the Battleground.

MetaOP, we finished researching the Foreign Transpace Communicator.
Can we now listen in on Great Crusade communications?
>>
>>21063655
If we do resurrect Gaunt, I kind of feel like we should just erase his memories and send it home.
I'm not sure if he would like the new direction we've taken the organization, what with the Pskyers, Xenos, and Men of Iron.
>>
>>21063714

That's a good point. Then again, he might be willing to listen to Darius. Either way, we'll resurrect him first and see what he wants.
>>
>>21063700
You can try.

>>21063655
No power sources are detected in the belt, and when the Indefatigable attempts to contact the Mulder Building, it gets no response.
>>
>>21063714
He's pragmatic, and the Knights Inductor work with us gladly.
Also, we're now going to be going up against Chaos, his old enemy, and his will is strong enough to help in the fight.
>>
>>21063714
...Also I think Vitun would count as a Heretic?
>>
>>21063741
Have Data and Mouse work on tuning our Meta-Comm Suite to receiving Great Crusade transmissions.

Have the Spirit of Triumph begin its resource collection duties.
Have the Indefatigable begin scans of the area of the Mulder Building. Look for people, evidence of our base, and check the local news for anything that's happened in the city in the past 2 weeks.
>>
>>21063776
Which one is the Spirit of Triumph again?
>>
>>21063792
The Hiigaran Shipyard.
>>
>>21063792
Hiigaaran Shipyard.

>>21063776
The Indefatigable begins its scans and swiftly notes that the city around the building is abandoned.
>>
>>21063815

Are there any life signs on the planet or around it?

Can our ships passively scan for signs of Inter-dimensional fatigue?
>>
>>21063815
>the city around the building is abandoned.
Fucking Orz!

Have the Indefatigable do a planetary scan for any human life signs.
>>
>>21063815
But not the entire planet?
>>
>>21063824
>>21063829
>>21063832
Extensive IDF is detected around the planet, and no sapient life is detected after a four hour scan.
>>
>>21063870

Fuck. Get to salvaging, then, see if we can't get more black hole guns. See if we can deploy a VDA in orbit with a 1 AU spread to look around for possible greys.
>>
>>21063870
Damn.
Didn't we give them some kind of protection, or was that the Shadowrun canon?
>>
>>21063870
Task Al'Kesh 1 and 2 to clearing out all of the major diamond vaults around the world.

Have an away team of MI A and SCP get ready to go down and prepare the base for salvage. We can't just leave this technology here.

Also, have the rest of the Task Force jump to Earth orbit. It'll make recovery easier.
>>
>>21063922
Shadowrun and Vaderverse.
>>
>>21063922
Shadowrun and Sector HQ, IIRC.

>>21063900
VDA?

How long do you want to salvage and what forces are you dedicating to it and where are you looking?
>>
>>21063870
>>21063900
Can the Indefatigable and All Under Heaven's upgraded sensors search the planet for the energy signature of a Mass Rifle?
The local Sandmen and Etoile may have also been *pulled*, leaving behind their useful technology.
>>
MetaQuest OP, are you in #writescribbles?
>>
>>21063942

Very Dangerous Array.

Basically, we teleport our missiles into space, where they can use their optics to form a very large array of optical sensors. It gives a ridiculous amount of resolution if you make it large enough.

Plus our missiles are already fired!
>>
>>21063942
Inde and AUH use their sensors to attempt to find more Mass Rifles for us to salvage.

Al'Kesh 2 and 3 go around the world, breaking open diamond vaults.

Al'Kesh 4-7 will be used to beam up the Mulder Building into the AUH's cargo holds.
>>
>>21063971
Before beaming up the Mulder Building and the base, have SCP, UNIT, MI B, and KI B equipped with tricorders and make sure that our base is clean of nanite infection. Make sure that they register to the base's IFF system so they don't get shot at.

The Al'Keshes manage to retrieve a bounty of diamonds, but it seems like much of the Mulder Building's equipment has been damaged or destroyed by some massive firefight that took place here. You get a lot of spare parts, but no truly useful additions.

The AUH and Indefatigable scan the planet, and only manage to find a single crashed Grey ship containing a squad's worth of mass rifles and extra ammunition. It's worth noting that is the ONLY Grey technology you find, insinuating they managed to leave the planet before the Doom came. Of the Etoile and Sandmen, all you find is dust.

For some places to loot, I'd say Hoffman Institute HQ, the UN Hammarskolj Base (also known as Moonbase Plato, located on the Lunar North Pole), the Freemason Grand Lodge Alpina in Switzerland, the Himalayan Mountains, Cairo, Ankara, Orenburg, Gorakpur, Order of Gregory hq in St Petersburg..
>>
>>21064058
Alright, let's get Gaunt revived. If we've got the diamonds, also the 6 Delta Greens, 1 SCP, and 1 UNIT that died on this mission.
>>
For some places to loot, I'd say Hoffman Institute HQ, the UN Hammarskolj Base (also known as Moonbase Plato, located on the Lunar North Pole), the Freemason Grand Lodge Alpina in Switzerland, the Himalayan Mountains, Cairo, Ankara, Orenburg, Gorakpur, Order of Gregory hq in St Petersburg, the Island of St. Malta, the Bohemian Grove in California, also the headquarters of various government agencies.
>>
>>21064106
Like the AFT, CDC, CXS, NASA, also maybe we should check for the local Grey headquarters in Valles Marineris?
>>
>>21064084
When Vitun goes to comply, he comes back with a disquieted face a few minutes later.

"Sirs... I hate to say this..." he winces. "Gaunt did not answer the call. And... when I investigated... Sirs, there are no souls bound to this world. At all."

>>21064071
How much time do you want to spend salvaging those areas?
>>
>>21064126
Furthermore, maybe check underneath the Denver Airport?
Apparently it's a Freemason base and entrance to a lizardman city.
...Dark Matter is an awesome canon.
>>

Damn straight. Too bad it got shackled to a doomed system.
>>
>>21064149
>there are no souls bound to this world. At all.
"That's impossible. They shouldn't have the technology to *pull* souls.
"We're going to have to talk to Egon about this."

Ask Egon if it's possible for souls to be pulled away if the IDF is great enough.
>>
>>21064149
Is there any way we can find out what happened?

>my money is on the Great Crusade
>>
>>21064149
Eh, most of them shouldn't have much security at all, aside from the Hoffman Institute and Moonbase Plato.
Actually to be honest, just those two, the Grey City-ship, and... Atlantis?
And... two hours?
>>
>>21064186
>Great Crusade
That can't be right. The Dark Matter Canon is at the northern end of the sector; nowhere near where the Great Crusade's path.
>>
>>21064201
...Also give a scan to Greenland, because apparently the Spear of Destiny is located in a cave thereabouts, and in this case, the Spear of Destiny is also Odin's Gungnir?
Do we have any kind of... magic radar?
>>
>>21064239
Aurors and Farseers.
Though this is an area of high IDF. It may not be prudent to attempt such.
>>
>>21064185
Egon blinks. "It... would seem possible. Souls in many worlds are essentially a part of a sapient being that exist on a higher plane, linked to its fleshy shell. If the Orz can reach into different planes, it's not unfeasible they might be able to broach an afterlife given the right circumstances."
>>
>>21064201
After two hours you have recovered a selection of unidentified magical artifacts from the vaults at the Hoffman Institute and a few technological knick-knacks from Moonbase Plato.
>>
>>21064324
How about Mars?
Did the Greys somehow... flee to a different universe?
>>
>>21064293

Hmm. That's not too much of a stretch. The Orz we see are merely manifestations of an Nth-dimensional being folded into a three-dimensional space. That puts them on similar levels as gods and other similar beings, such as the deities from the AMG canon. Though they prefer to interact with other species by technological means.
>>
>>21064332
They fled SOMEWHERE. Other than that ship, there is no trace of them.

The "day" is beginning to get late. Any other orders?
>>
>>21064324
>>21064293
Then that would mean that Gaunt and the others are lost to us. Is there no way to get them back? Could they have simply drifted through a crack in the fabric of space, rather than intentionally taken?

Once the big diamond vaults are cleaned out, I think we should prepare to make a quick side-trip to Cheryl's home and see if anyone has answered the call of our website.
>>
>>21064375
Unless we have a way to quickly divine the location of the Spear of Destiny, lets just steal all the diamonds and book it.

Is the vault protected against teleporation?
Can our sensors and scrying determine that?

If it is, or it seems risky, send in Gondegal, the Psions, Shadowrunner A, and a squad of YVH. Oh, and a pair of mobile emitters with Emergency Security Holograms.
>>
>>21064483
Can't we send our ghost paladin in? And have him plan a teleportation beacon?

>>21064540
...Eh, it's not like this universe is suddenly going to get more people.
That spear isn't going anywhere, but the Great Crusade is going to be at the disputed area soon.
...And I doubt the spear would be much help in a space battle.
>>
>>21064211
It's either the Great Crusade or the Orz. We already have seen what the Orz will do, and we've got intel that The Crusade will purge any world they deem as un-savable.

The Orz haven't been able to pull souls to our knowledge but the crusade's level of tech is mostly an unknown. In that we don't know much about it save it is much better than ours. They very well could purge souls from a canon they deemed fit for destruction.
>>
>>21064540
We can give our Al'Kesh teams more time to raid diamond vaults, and it's not like we're not doing anything; the Spirit is still collecting resources and using them to repair the Storm, research is still getting done, cortical stacks are still being replicated.

Let's get a party together. Like this one >>21064533
>>
>>21064540
Ghost paladin with teams on the ground ready to provide back-up. Mecha-godzilla is down there too.
>>
Yeah never mind the spear thing, I remember reading that there might be a curse on the spear, such that the only way to wield it is to pluck out your own eye.
...And I'd wager that getting a robotic replacement or having it regenerate, would kind of... violate the spirit of the curse?
>>
>>21064576
Ah, well as long as we're doing important things on top of going dungeon delving, then that's fine.
>>
>>21064594
We do have Remove Curse available to us.
>>
>>21064591
If we lose MechaGodzilla to some stupid traps, Imma hate you forever.
>>
>>21064591
Wait, why is MechaGodzilla going dungeon diving? Are you expecting a Kaiju attack? Otherwise we can use him in space with his new SY-3 buddies.
>>
>>21064591
Why are we sending Mechagodzilla into a dungeon crawl, when we can drill into the vault using the Mikasa?
>>
>>21064627
Wait... Can MechaGodzilla even fit down there?
I mean the only purpose to bringing him would just vaporize the dungeon and hope that Gungnir is immune to the best weapon space apes could create.
>>
>>21064591
Can MechaGodzilla even fit in the dungeon?

He isn't exactly indoor friendly.
>>
>>21064549
You can only detect a few. Someone has scrawled the words "Overthinking" over the main door in.

Mechagodzilla can't fit in the small underground chambers. Gondegal attempts to move past the doorway, but finds an invisible force blocking his way.

"I fear they have wards to keep such as me out," he winces. "The dead, I mean."
>>
>>21064643
...Oh yeah, that's what we did with the Grimdark 8-bit world thing wasn't it?
Like fuck your dungeon, I've got a drillship.
And in this case, we have a lot less to drill.
>>
Hey, while we're looting and supply gathering and training and such.. Get the Abjurers to cast those Identify spells they have and identify the magical goodies we've already looted.

But we really shouldn't spend too much time here. Once we get done what we need to get done, I vote we head for the Quarantine Zone.

How many worlds does the Zone currently envelop? I'm thinking we might be able to lure the SUEs there out a handful at a time instead of going hilt-deep and getting stomped.

>>
>>21064674
We're reconsidering going straight to the Quarantine Zone, because the Great Crusade is about to make contact with the Battleground between the Void Engineers and New Chaos, and not at least putting in a token appearance might damage our reputation.

Also, we've been told by the G-Man that we need to take out the Arch-SUE first and foremost. He'll omit info, but he won't lie.
>>
>>21064727
Then we use phaser rifles and Rays of Disintegration, as well as a couple of photon torpedoes at maximum yield. Maybe even some turbolaser shots.
>>
>>21064729
...Fuck it, lets just send Spike in.
He's got moxie.
>>
>>21064729
The Mikasa drills into the vault itself, setting off a great number of traps that do absolutely nothing against its drill prow, although the brute force method certainly has its draw back. The underground chamber lose their structural integrity and collapse as the battleship bores into them. However, the Spear is not destroyed by this, only buried, as a quick thinking Auror things to scry for its aura afterward.
>>
>>21064768
Excavate the area and sort out all the artifacts, teleport chunks of dirt away where possible. hell, most wards should be gone now.

We don't have the Oncoming Storm ready, or the SY-3 plans. We're not ready to go to the Battleground.
>>
>>21064848
We should also get Yellowman. We are sorely lacking for forward intel right now.
>>
>>21064868
We'd get him if he'd return our calls or he told us where he was.
Until that happens, we're not getting him.
>>
Should we return to that TSAB branch base, and tell them about the Great Crusade, and possibly about SHODAN as well?
>>
>>21064883
We don't need to travel there. We have their meta-comm frequency.
>>
>>21064883
We have their Meta-Comm frequency, we can just call them.
I was actually going to talk to them after clearing out the Battleground and we have something to actually show for our promise of material help we had made.
>>
>>21064902
I figured if they already had agents in the area, then they might have some intel which would allow us to better deal with the situation.
But your idea has merit.
...Did the Grand Crusade Fleet pass through TSAB space?
>>
>>21064929
Not that you know of.

>>21064848
I need to sit down and figure out a few things before you get the results. You'll get them though, don't worry.
>>
>>21064950
How about my test of tapping the Lance of Longinus and the Spear of Destiny together?
>>
>>21064877
Let me rephrase then. We should wait until we can get a hold of Yellowman before we go into the quarantine zone. We lack any intel on what we will be going up against, and that could prove to be disastrous.
>>
>>21064929
They have Dimensional Navy squadrons, and that information is classified. We already asked, and that's the answer we got.
>>
>>21064971
Well then it's a good thing that we're not going to the Quarentine Zone right now.
We're going to finally deal with New Chaos and the Void Engineers first.
Because apparently the Great Crusade is going to pass through that location first.
>>
>>21064950
Alright, so we're waiting on those, and on the results of the ME mission.

While we still have a few more hours in this day, collect everyone together and make a transit to Cheryl's home to see if we got any hits on our website. We'll need more personnel for Sector HQ.
>>
>>21064995

We can't deal with that area, we don't have the tech or fleet necessary. Yes, the Crusade will have to solo it, but while they do so, we'll be cleaning up the Zone.
>>
>>21065008
I'm not really sure if that's an option?
I mean I'd say that leaving them to deal with it is just as bad as leaving them to deal with the Quarentine Zone.
Like a STOB would cause a lot of fresh turmoil, and we've left them alone long enough as is.
>>
>>21064995
This might sound crazy, but just hear me out.
You know that fleet of ships Black Ops sent after The Crusade, the ones whose *remnants* almost beat us?
Yes? Well let's not go after the crusade. Let's not go anywhere near them until we have something really great to tell them. Something like: "We just cleared out the Quarantine Zone. Why don't we all not kill each other?"

Except we don't have the gear or personnel necessary to do so. We need to let the crusade deal with NC and VE, while WE fix the quarantine zone before the arch-sue potentially subverts part of the crusade. We take care of that, then go say hi to the Crusade.
>>
>>21065101
To be honest, it seems like this Arch Sue controls multiple worlds and has obscenely powerful lieutenants to boot.
What makes you think it'll be easier?
>>
>>21065034

Then return to the C&C Canon world where they'll get their orientation.

>>
>>21065163

Oh, standard basic training at sector HQ. They signed up, so they get trained by the guys there for now, once they're done and we know what abilities they excel at, they'll be placed where they work best.
>>
>>21065163
They will have a hand to hand fight with MechaGodzilla. If they survive, they get the job.
>>
>>21065163
You mean we don't have a standardized battery of tests and interviews?

Alright. They'll get a phone call, that will direct them to make sure that they're not in a public place. Then they'll get beamed up.
They'll be given a short spiel of how there are thousands of alternate universes, and that we're the multiversal authority that tries to keep the peace between universes. If they look like they can handle it, they get taken on for standard training at Sector HQ.
If they can't, the Aurors erase the memory of them getting beamed up, and we return them.
>>
>>21065163

Maybe some MiB style psychological profiling to see if they'd be comfortable with the idea of a metaverse. And more importantly, to realize that the metaverse contains unique peoples, and that imposing your own will on the universe to shape these worlds to your own liking (no matter how much you care about the canon) is very bad.
>>
>>21065227
Gotcha. You collect a squad's worth of recruits and they begin training immediately. No psychics are detected among them.
>>
>>21065244
Alright. Return back to our provisional Sector HQ and continue with our repairs. Also, until we can build a Star Destroyer, we'll need to make do with Hiigaran designs.

There are three Parts it can make, each a section of the ship. Assembling the SY-3 from premade parts is considerably faster than production from scratch.

Research on Aglaophotis-B completes as well.

"Based on studies of the plant and the original sample, we believe we've discovered a way to infuse the substance with certain magic," Melchoir reports. "It will take longer to make a batch, but it should deal considerably more damage. Its potency begins to approach that of pure Aglaophotis."
>>
>>21065448
Will we have to protect the SY-3 Parts while they're being delivered?
>>
>>21065448

Nice. Begin production of SY-3 parts using the hercules, and use the shipyard for final construction. As for Mordin, say hi, and introduce him to Egon and the rest of R&D. Then let him pick whatever project he feels he can best help with.
>>
>>21065471
Yes. Yes you will. But the SY-3 is a miraculous weapon.

>>21065479
Production started.
>>
>>21065448
That frees up 50% R&D.
Put that 50% into SUE-Cure.

Have the Hercules begin non-stop production of the SY-3 components and put them together.

Can our long-range sensors pick up where the Great Crusade is now?

Have we had any more luck with contacting Yellowman?

"Professor Solus, I am surprised. I will have to congratulate our resource acquisition team on being able to recruit you. Please, come this way. I'm sure that Dr. Spengler will be able to bring you up to speed."

Yellowman's face snaps into focus, the connection is actually quite good this time.

"Holy SHIT I was beginning to think you guys were dead! Make this fast, I don't know how long I can manage this," Yellowman says, looking haggard.
>>

"Grand Admiral Pellaeon can help you with that experience."

"Fuck, give us your coordinates. What's on your tail? We can have the task force ready to go in 15 minutes. If you can shake whoever's following you, we can give you provisional Sector HQ's location."

Sitrep and coordinates for extraction under fire. We need intel and have intel for you, too.
>>
>>21065628
What is your current status?
On you're last check in you said you had vital intel. Can you transfer us that ASAP? What is your current status?
If you need pickup or extraction we can be there shortly.
>>
>>21065637
"I DON'T KNOW MY COORDINATES!" Yellowman screams. "My ship got so fucked up during the attack, it malfunctions and sends me to a random world each time I activate the jump drives! It feels like I'm in some bad parody of 'Quantum Leap' or 'Sliders'!"

He pauses to take a breath. "Computers are pretty messed up too. It's a miracle I can get the comm system to work. Look, forget about me for the time being. God, those are words I never thought I'd say. I've got bad news about Black Ops. There's a puppetmaster behind them, and you won't like her name."
>>
>>21065685
"SHODAN. The G-Man already told us. When the situation is bad enough that he gives out honest answers, it's pretty fucked up.
"Look, we need your abilities to help us in the Quarantine Zone. ANON! Can you get a lock on Yellowman's signal?"
>>
>>21065685

SHODAN. That, we found out thanks to a certain extradimensional asshole.

Anything else? Can we trace his current canon? Who's pursuing him?
>>
>>21065685
I suggest having the Aurors try and scry for his position if ANON can't locate it. If he's somewhere we can readily get to him, then let's mount up.

He can come and keep Holtz company while we get repairs and shit done to his ship.
>>
>>21065697
>>21065708
ANON: "Attempting..."

Yellowman blinks. "You... you already knew? Then... what have I... what did..." he slumps back in his chair, looking lost for a moment. The moment passes and Yellowman seems to snap out of it. "Proof. Do you have proof? Do you know her plan? The Crusade! Did you find out about them? The Void Engineers? And what's this about the Zone?"
>>
>>21065685
Hrm, would it be possible to triangulate Yellowman's coordinates by altering our Meta-Sensors to detect the residual energy created from a metajump as he moves from world to world? If he's hopping randomly, it can't be a smooth ride and there has to be a obvious trail.

Perhaps link the Meta-Comm array to the Meta-Sensors and use the information that's being bounced back to assist in trangulating his coordinates?
>>
>>21065740

We don't know much, so anything you can give us helps. The Crusade is coming, but if we can clean up the Zone they might be willing to listen to us despite Blops fuckery. Who's pursuing you? The sooner you get home the sooner you can be debriefed and we can try and fit you in for some drydock time.
>>
>>21065740
"No, we don't have proof, but if you've got it, then we can start taking apart Black Ops. We think she's going to try to use a Meta Transit Drive to fuse together realities, but we don't know specifics. As for the Great Crusade, we know a little about them; we've found out that their path is going to take them into the Quarantine Zone, so we need to get there first and eliminate the Arch-SUE that's there. It'll give us leverage to negotiate with them."
>>
>>21065740

"Look, we got the information for a trustworthy source but we didn't get any evidence to back it up. Did you get any proof on your side?"
>>
>>21065756
>>21065757

"Black Ops are! And some others I don't know yet..." Yellowman grimaces. "Yeah... yeah, something like that, but it's worse than a transpace drive. She wants to combine a S.T.O.B. with a Rewriter Bomb and amplify it. Other than the STOB itself, there are components she needs she doesn't have, she's looking for them. And she's not the only one! I'm not sure who they are yet, but it looks like others have similar ideas. Hell, it could be that that's the reason the Void Engineers and New Chaos are fighting over the area, EACH SIDE WANTS THE COMPONENTS!"

Yellowman pauses. "Leverage, huh... That might work. The Crusade people kept trying to talk to Black Ops, but they just kept shooting... The idiots! There were millions if not more of ships in that fleet! They tried to trigger all these traps, but..." Yellowman shakes his head. "The logs. I have to upload you the logs of that fight. I intercepted internal comms that prove the greater TG is innocent of Blops' attack. That and I've got proof of SHODAN's scheme."
>>
>>21065815
"Send that info over, we'll have analysts go over it and start sending it to whoever's leading the Moderates and the Messiahs.

Yellowman only manages to send a bare quarter of the first file when the signal begins to break up.

"Aw shit," Yellowman swears. "I'm losing you... Something's... Shit, I'm being jammed! Listen! The Void Engineers aren't..."

The signal distorts and cuts off in a burst of static, though you could almost swear you saw a faint female face through the static for a minute.

The Great Crusade is skirting around the Battleground, right? Then we might be able to put off going after there. But I don't like the implications that the Void Engineers and New Chaos could be close to getting the components needed.

Set course for the Quarantine Zone, specifically the Canon that Holtz pointed out in the very beginning, as being dangerously close to the Quarantine Zone, but which has now been swallowed up.

Scan local space, checking for identifying marks and distortion readings. We need to know how many of what we're dealing with.

Full shields, weapons warmed and ready to go but no target locks until somethig that needs to die is confirmed.

Everyone, on your toes!

You are unable to find any identifying marks on the planet below in your database, though it is an Earth-like world. There is a single reality distortion the AUH picks up analogous to an dimensional gateway planetside, but it appears to be inactive.

Can we get eyes-on from orbit? What's it look like?

I really hope we didn't end up in a SupCom universe, or a TA one.

>>
>>21066050
You can't get a visual on it because the reading appears to be in the middle of a large medieval city, from a particular large palatial structure.
>>
>>21066067

Zoom out to view the city then.

We need eyes on that city. Have our sensor suite sweep the city for any sort of emissions.

Pass the data to our commanders and have them begin preliminary plans for a possible assault.
>>
>>21066067

Huh. Well that at least crosses Gate off the list. We didn't see any modern star-fortresses with 2000s era Japanese gear around, did we?

ANON, any idea what canon we're in?
>>
>>21066082
The city appears to be a sprawling heavily populated medieval metropolis. Your scopes pick up a few griffons and elves and other such things that indicate this is a fantasy world of some sort. There do not seem to be any technological emissions of any kind, but you get a good sense of the terrain in case you need a ground assault.
>>
>>21066097
Looking for identifying marks of any sort, you manage to make out that the main building appears to be architecture identical to the Eladrin style. More than a few magitech devices also seem to be present in the city. Something seems off, though.
>>
>>21066097

Do we have any sort of imagery on writing script? If we can find any heraldry or writing script and its not something we recognise, show it to our experts.

Otherwise I vote to send in a scouting party. Probably our DG team in the stealth armour. With some air support at long range standby incase of a hot evac.

>>
>>21066210

Well, send in the DG scout team.

Have them run air sample checks for unusual pheromens/bio/chem in the air or such.

Do our mages pick up any sort of possible mind bending spell/effects on the city? Need to check if it'll be safe to send in our females.

Is this the only city on the planet? Do a quick check on the others if there are to see if this is the norm or the exception.

I suggest we can prepare a ground team of females.

Using our footage, prepare clothing and armour that would blend in with the current attire of the inhabitants.

Would suggest Cheryl, Agrias, Alicia, Lavian and Lyla.

See if Regina is curious and willing to come along for this mission.

We'll outfit them with holdout armour and weapons under their cover clothing.

Also, we've identified small villages on the side. Would like to suggest an abduction raid using our DG again. Having a local we can interrogate would gain us good intel. We can always knock her out and put her somewhere, let her think it was all a dream.
>>
>>21066459

Anything that counts as intel. Right now we're trying to identify the canon, so we're more looking to overhear tidbits or find identifiable personnel.

Seconding all-female away team, for now. I vote Cheryl as lead, with whoever else volunteers. Cheryl gets a hardsuit with a cloak and other clothes over it (Make sure she keeps her helmet and her omnitool works this time!), as well as hidden ranged weapons. Track them with an Al'kesh in case of extraction needs.
>>

"I don't know, this new god of hers seems... odd. I don't feel right abandoning the worship of Erathis."

"You're just saying that because she's a tiefling. Don't forget what she did for us! She showed us the light and cleansed our world of the taint! The old deities MADE man after all!"
