TG QUEST!

Last Thread: http://suptg.thisisnotatrueending.com/archive/21086720/

Day 20

Task Force 38 has arrived in the heart of the Quarantine Zone to find their quarry, the Arch SUE Chaosbringer ruling over a planet consisting solely of women and mutated women. In his mad quest to destroy all males save himself, he has corrupted a force of heroines and despoiled a huge swath of worlds. The only foe that currently stands against him are the hidden forces of Task Force 38, who sit in deep space, analyzing their foe and attempting to judge how best to defeat him and set matters right.

"I would KILL for another Rewriter Bomb," Mouse groans as he looks over the dataflow from one monitor. "Do you have ANY idea how much work one would save us?"

"Not as much as you'd think," the Avatar frowns. "I've heard of your bombs. It is possible for powerful entities, gods and the like, to interfere with their detonation and restructuring. We would have had to defeat this... Chaosbringer regardless, I think."

"Perhaps it is fate then," Vitun muses, leafing through a hefty tome nearby. Spike chuckles.

"You've been spending too much time with those Farseers, I think," Spike says, sauntering over to an observation port and looking down. "Too bad everyone down there is batshit crazy. The entire planet's full of lookers."

"Poisoned fruit, my friend," Vitun says, giving Spike a stern look. Spike laughs.

"I'm not stupid, preacher. I love a woman who can kick my ass, not one that would flay it and feed it to dogs," Spike says, shrugging.

"I'd be wary of trusting a normal woman," Crowe shakes his head. "But this place..."
>>
>>21099910
Spike. Those women all have dicks. I'd avoid looking at them, my charismatic friend.
>>
>>21099910
Plans to put in motion:
Contacting the angry dead of this world with Tosh and Gondegal in the Psionic Matrix to handle the load, and to put up a psi firewall. Maybe have Vitun, Aeshma, and Avatar in the mix as well.

Have Hacking Team continue work on their improved ICE/viruses/attack utilities, using Starfleet attack programs and anti-Borg algorithms.

Have science team look into the feasibility of attaching a transporter module to a Mammoth Tank's railgun.

>Teleporting Railgun Shots
I like the way you think.

Also, how do we feel about doing picture related? I think we should implement it after the Arch Sue is defeated thoroughly and the canon characters returned.
>>
>>21099990
>the canon characters returned.
There is no going back. 3 billion people are dead.
The only problem with wiping out the other 3 billion, is that there's still the hope of re-education and de-programming.
>>
>>21099910

Contact our researchers. Given the current research rate of the SUE cure (50% of max, I think?), how long would it take for it to be completed?

In addition, do they think that the SUE cure could be weaponized or is it more of a clinical treatment that goes on for months or possibly years?
>>
>>21100021
I was more referring to the kidnap FF and Yugioh characters, but at this point, I doubt they could be redeemed, especially if they've been in close proximity to the Arch SUE.
>>
>>21100021
First I think we should find what canon this was originally, because that might determine what resources we have available.
>>
"Anyway, speaking of loving women, did you hear? Supposedly our beloved bosses are cooking up some sort of Miss Task Force 38 contest. Another one of those morale boosting initiatives since that one crazy guy's idea for TV shows kinda... blew up in everyone's face," Mouse says lazily as he types. Bruce laughs.

"Well, goddamn. My timing is impeccable for once. They gonna ask Reg to partake?" he asks, grinning as he fiddles with the phaser pistol in his hand.

"I don't claim to know the infinitely complicated minds of my superiors..." Mouse says with an air of solemnity. Then he breaks down into laughter. "But probably. Hey Vitun is it true they tried to get you to summon an avatar of Desna to participate?"

"Can we please talk about the matter at hand? Lives are on the line!" Vitun says with a frustrated groan as he indicates a holographic projection of the planet being emitted from one of the briefing room tables.

"And souls," Tosh says, appearing from nowhere behind Bruce. The veteran agent jumps a little at the sudden arrival of the Spectre. "Don't be forgetting about de spirits, bruddah. They gonna be thirstin' for revenge when ah speak to dem."

"Excuse me for trying to lighten the mood," Mouse sighs. "Speaking of the ghosties..."

"Let's move to that section of the plan. I think we can..."
>>
>>21100021
The thing is.. We may be able to figure out a way to reverse some of the damage. But first things first. These SUEs must die.

I'm also for the suggestion last thread of temporarily devoting all research efforts to the SUE-Cure if it can be completed in a reasonable time frame.

We should check this world for deities.. Sneakily. No need to trip alarms here. Farseers, do you have any advice for us on this matter?

>>21100077

For a moment, OP, I thought you meant this guy had popped up.

To be honest, we could really use his help right now. And that whole vengeful spirits thing is right up his alley.
>>
>>21100082
Also, at this point, I'm in favor of at least asking Vitun, and perhaps our Abjurers about plan Inevitable.
Like we've gotten the embodiment of good (the Avatar) to travel with us, so maybe the embodiments of Lawful Neutral won't immediately deem our actions unacceptable.
>>
>>21100077
We've got 3 billion angry, vengeance-thirsting souls to try to talk to.
We're going to need all magical, psionic, and technological defenses primed for this.

In addition to the previous preparations for the Psionic Matrix and magical preparations from the Abjurers, Aeshma, Vitun, and the Avatar, we should also get Egon's help to see if he can rig up a psionic firewall or buffer using X-COM and University of Planet psi technology.

>>21099947
"We've been talking about that, and no matter how you slice it, we'd need to go planetside for this," Vitun informs you. "But we don't need to go near a population center. Anywhere on the ground should suffice."

"We're working on it," Mouse replies. "If you want us to have another go at hacking, we should be ready for round two tomorrow."

"Scaling up a transporter module to a tank weapon should be possible," Data replies. "But would take a little research and engineering time to do." Data pauses for a moment. "Also... Corporal Shepard came to the labs yesterday with a few papers he'd drawn up. He didn't say where he got the ideas, but they were possible weapon modifications for his guns. He asked if they were possible, and they are, but would require a small amount of research and engineering time, about a day's worth."
>>
>>21100123
...That's why I'd like to know how complete the crossover is.
Like some of the Chaosbringers lieutenants have Lantern Rings.
Does that mean the Batteries also exist, as well as the Entities that dwell within?
>>
We should also check with Mordin Solus. This guy knows how to deliver large quantities of agent into an atmosphere in bulk.

He should have some idea on delivery mechanisms.
>>
>>21100188
...Yeah sure.
Unwilling or not, he's an emissary of the G-Man, and thus should be heeded.
>>
>>21100188
Might as well. Vax could work on it.
>>
>>21100188
"Corporal Shephard is on loan from the G-Man. Considering how loath that entity usually is to giving out the services of his employees without charge, that must mean that he believes this threat to be quite beyond normal parameters.
"Commander Data, please make the modifications to Shephard's weapons, and see if the same can be done for our own."

>finding a remote place
Have the AUH and the Indefatigable find the most remote and least inhabited place on the planet where we can do the ritual.
>>
>>21100254

We could see if an abandoned farmhouse in the middle of Wyoming still exists. Or possibly small uncharted islands.
>>
>>21100188
I have no issues with devoting some research to his needs. As long as he doesn't mind if we keep a copy for ourselves.

Mouse, round up every one of our robotic people and include them in the hacking attempt. Think "Psi-Matrix, but with tech orientation". Be aware that you're gonna be facing someone pretty damn good.. Possibly near Yggdrasil-level. Take ALL precautions.

Find the most remote place we can, take holographic emitters to shield the location. Reality Emitters and full environmental kit for EVERYONE going down. Take whatever resources you need. Maybe deploy some dimensional wards, too? I want this to be complete surprise.
>>
>>21100254
Middle of the Sahara desert?
Bottom of the Pacific ocean?
...North Dakota?
>>
>>21100304
Alright, I found 10 candidate sites for the ritual.
http://www.toptenz.net/top-10-most-remote-places-on-planet-earth.php

#1, Tristan da Cunha seems to be the best location as long as we make sure that the place is clear.
>>
>>21100328
As someone from North Dakota, I must say this place is fucking empty. Hell, we could go to the middle of one of the tiny towns and not see someone for hours.
>>
it's times like these where i wish that we had gotten Oscar from requisitions.
>>
>>21100427
>Oscar
Please, be serious. These are S.U.E.'s, not just some Mary-Sue character controlled by a player that will ragequit when things don't go their way.
These are entities that will kill people without a second thought.
>>
>>21100358
Yeah, we could, but I prefer one of the Pacific islands simply because the weather is nicer.

So we make sure that the island is clean, and then we can start setting up shop.
We could get a NOD MCV there, and with RU's harvested from the Oort Cloud, set up a power generator and a Cloaking Field.
>>
>>21100427
He can manage to throw SUEs in a loop, but they can still hit us.

Regardless, what we have here is what we have to work with. We've got to bring down a bald headed madman with a planets worth of futa superwomen slavishly loyal to him.

Another Friday evening if you ask me. Eitherway, we are not a bludgeon, we're not going to steamroll him because we are not a tank. We are the Transpace Guard, we are like a blade, removing the taint dealing little damage to whats around it. Sometimes we're a dagger, othertimes we're a claymore, bottom line is we're going to fix this.

Doesnt mean we cant make use of the Space marines tactic of choice, Brutal Surgical Strikes at high value targets. An army of ghost men? A distraction.
>>
>>21100534
We've done scalpel before too.
>>
>>21100529
In addition, an Al'Kesh on the ground to provide a Capital-ship grade Mk. II Reality Emitter, and the Abjurers might be able to put together a Lesser Dimensional Ward.
>>
>>21100534
Eh, brutal surgical strikes is what Black Ops was supposed to be.
I think SCIENCE is our greatest resource.
>>
>>21100462
i liked to think that, if we recruited him, he would either be a walking reality-emitter, or be unaffected by S.U.E and/or supernatural abilities
>>
>>21100123
Since there are perverted lanterns corps running around, that must mean there's the chance that DC cannon may be applicable. You might want to check out the possibility of contacting the Spectre, and possibly the Phantom Stranger
>>
>>21100254
>>21100323
"The modifications he suggested were attaching matter accelerators to the barrels of his weapons, essentially turning most of them into jury-rigged automatic railguns. It should be possible to fit our troops with similar systems, but you should probably know he went to the TechnoWizards to enchant his shotgun for a magical backup, and... Well, given the way he presented the idea, I am fairly sure this was not his idea, but that he'd encountered something similar before and thought to ask us to make the same modifications. Still, one day should be sufficient to perform the modifications. What priority do you want this?"

So you are deploying your spirit team to Tristan?
>>
>>21100664
Or worst case scenario, we awaken the Black Lantern Corps.
>>
>>21100704
Oh god, Nekron is an entire another issue all together. Y ou don't want to go there dude. just...trust me.
>>
>>21100695

Yes to both.
>>
>>21100695
Medium Priority. If there's something that needs to be done now, ignore it, but otherwise, work on them.
>>
>>21100695
"The Storm simply will not be available in this fight, I'm afraid. Get the modifications done as quickly as possible. Supplying the ritual and Dr. Spengler with resources for contacting the dead safely is still top priority, however."

Yes, deploy to Tristan after the island has been adequately scanned and made sure that no one is on it, there's no sensors there, and there's no ships in a 500 mile radius.
>>
>>21100695

Consult with our researchers about the SUE cure research project. Given the allocation of research we have to it now, how long would it take for it to come to fruition? Also, would it be mainly a medical application (involving treatments that span over weeks), or could it be applied in a weaponized manner?
>>
>>21100695
Seconding this question: >>21100748
>>
>>21100716
Oh believe me, I know.
On second thought, just letting the Great Crusade handle things would be better.
>>
>>21100716
>>21100704
If you really want to get the anthropormorphic entity of death involved, you probably would want to go with one of the other aspects.

Necron is an aspect of Death as the Ultimate Opponent.
The Black Racer, the death of New Gods, is an aspect of "Death as an Inevitability", and you also have the Death of the Endless who represents death as the Release, as Mercy, as Compassion.
>>
"Vitun. I have an idea on how to fix these people later. Do you know any Shadowcraft Mages back home?"
>>
>>21100774

Actually, it was later stated that Death of the Endless is Death, period.
>>
>>21100803
Yeah, Necron is Entropy, not Death.
Black Racer is a New God who serves as a Psychopomp.
And the Black Flash is a creepy side effect of the Speed Force.
>>
Rolled 7

>>21100748
Right now they should have research finalized in four days.

>>21100775
"I am sorry, but I cannot say that I do."

You load up an Al'Kesh and send it out...
>>
>>21100902
...Vitun, if you please?
>>
>>21100902
>SUE-Cure
But is it something that can be weaponized, or is it a treatment?

Also, the Inde was doing sensor overwatch. Do they detect anything from the planet, such as activation of a defense grid?
>>
>>21100867
Wait, I thought the death of speedesters was the black racer? Darn DC cosmic confusion.

As the Al'Kesh begins to move towards the planet's atmosphere, a defense satellite goes hot near it. Apparently able to penetrate the Al'Kesh's cloaking, it fires a series of missiles at the craft, which immediately begins to execute evasive manuevers and ECM. A cloud of chaff manages to catch and detonate the first missile, but the second and third strike home, shredding the craft's armor, and causing it to spin out of control. Vitun murmurs a prayer to Desna and the pilot manages to regain control long enough to make a guided descent onto your destination, the island Tristan da Cunha. The ship wobbles down and slides into the dirt, sparks flying until it smashes into the side of the huge mountain that dominates the island.

>Al'Kesh crashes and is nonoperational save for the reality emitter, which is still functioning. No passengers lost.
>>
>>21101102

Shit! We need a report on how long it'll take to effect repairs.

Keep watch for increased enemy activity.
>>
>>21101102
Goddammit, we're going to need to send a repair Scarab down there.

Have the Indefatigable map the defense satellites and find a hole in their sensor net. We'll need to get supplies and repair equipment down there somehow.
Also, watch the planet to see if the planetary defense grid goes to alert status.
>>
>>21101102
..Fuck.

Inde, keep an eye out for increased activity; especially headed for the island.

Spirit Team, you guys are probably on a clock as of right now. Set up in the shelter of the Emitter, and see if we can salvage this.

Also, I want a scan of that satellite. It shouldn't have been able to detect a cloaked Al'Kesh that easily.

Psi-Matrix, link up and get ready to help balance the strain. We do NOT need this going pear-shaped!
>>
>>21101102
Shoot down everything in orbit. Slag it all. they know were here, now lets blind them.
>>
>>21101102
>>21101175

Is it possible for our current transporter systems to beam up the Al'kesh to the AUH?
>>
Rolled 90

>>21101175
Indeed it does. The Indefatigable attempts to map the defense grid...

>>21101140
If the NOD MCV deploys, 3 hours. Otherwise, unknown.
>>
>>21101204
"Understood," Vitun says, rallying everyone else as they immediately begin setting up for the various rituals they need perform.

The Indefatigable manages to map out four large gaps in the satellite defense network using what it can analyze from the Al'Kesh encounter to determine their maximum detection range.
>>
>>21101215
No, we shouldn't take action yet. Right now they'll assume it's just probing by another civilization.

If we attack, they'll go into alert and will immediately go into a war footing.

>>21101221
I think we should deploy the MCV, to effect repairs and to get a cloaking field up.
>>
>>21101221

Sue tracking, are those super powered shits doing anything? Or might they be assuming an asteroid? Can we fake the encounter to be one?
>>
>>21101247
I think we should get a Repair Scarab and Emergency Engineering Holograms loaded into an Al'Kesh and use the holes in their defense network to get the repair equipment through.

Also, replicate debris using all industrial replicators so that we can set up a fake crash site. Include some charred Sectoid bodies made using the magic cryokit. Just one or two, enough to make it look like a scout ship.
>>
>>21101304
OR!
We could use a second Al'Kesh to do a site-to-site transport of the team and the downed Al'Kesh to North Dakota, and leave behind enough random wreckage to make it look like the intruder broke apart in re-entry.
>>
>>21101443
Oh, playing Kansas city shuffle with spaceships. I like it.
>>
>>21101304
>>21101443
So prep Al'Kesh 2 with a Repair Scarab, a squad of Emergency Engineering Holograms, and 'Scout Ship Wreckage'. We have it ready to swoop in through the hole in defense grid, and pull a bait-and-switch with Al'Kesh 1 and the Spirit Team and the 'Scout Ship Wreckage' if the SUE's look like they'll investigate.

Also, does the it look like the SUE's are moving to investigate?
>>
Rolled 99

>>21101472
Hard to tell just yet.

You send your second Al'Kesh in through one of the gaps to make the switch...
>>
>>21101644

Dicceee

You fucking troll.
>>
Rolled 82

>>21101644
The swap goes off without a hitch. Sure enough, a SUE arrives to investigate, a fox-woman accompanied by a large troop of soldiers in odd armor. They take stock of the area and begin to investigate as your NOD MCV deploys in North Dakota, constructing a Cloaking Field and Power Generator as your spiritual team goes to work once more.
>>
>>21101677

Eyes on target please. Lets see who bought our bait.
>>
>>21101677
Now Al'Kesh 2 can beam the EEH squad and the repair Scarab beside the stricken Al'Kesh 1 so they can get to work repairing the cloaking device and the flight systems.

Gondegal, Tosh, Vitun, and Aeshma attempt to commune with the dead as Cheryl and the Farseers attempt to draw the dead to the mystic signal being put out for them. The X-COM psionic veterans add their strength to the effort as the Avatar moves through the group, weaving threads of potent Virtue magic through the combined effort to keep it together as his own power surges through the group. For his own part, Egon sets up a makeshift ectoplasmic beacon to supplement the others.

It takes two hours of stressful, tiring exertion before a chill wind blows across the barren waste the group had set up in. Translucent forms begin to shimmer around the base, first a few at a time, then hordes at once as ghosts fill the land in all directions, all looking to the magic users and psions at the center.

"Dey be here an' listenin'," Tosh whispers. "We betta make what we say good."

You who have died on this world, listen well. I do not know you, but I know your pain. You were ripped cruelly from your lives, without reason, without mercy without exception. The great died with the weak, the cunning with the strong. But it was not a fiery ragnarok that brought about your end but a single man with stolen powers, who was not satisified with your mere demise but twisted your very world, turning your friends, your lovers, your wives, daughters, mothers into his devoted sycophants who can do nothing more but sing the praise of the man who murdered half a world.
And why did this...genocidal self styled messiah do this? So he could get his rocks off. That's it, the single simple reason is that this child of a man killed you all and corrupted everything you may have loved because that's the only way he could get hard.

And he's done it again, and again, and again on a hundred different worlds like yours, stealing children to turn them into his soldiers, spitting in the very face of all that we know is good and just, never satisifed with just your world but constantly looking to turn all others into a twisted reflection of his sick fantasy.

...we're here to stop him. Do you want to help?

Speech:

Hi ghost dudes. We know you're pissed at these weird perv-gods. So are we. We are here to do everything we can to make sure that they die forever, and help you get your lives and loved ones back on track. But we can't do this alone. We need your help. What do you say?

>Okay.
>>

>121 total.

"The dead have waited for their day for years," one ghost says, a tall man in combat fatigues with hollow eyes. "We have slumbered, but our sleep has been filled with nothing but nightmares. If you say our day has come, then now that you have awakened us, we shall bring those nightmares to the living. Show us the way and this legion of the dead will tear apart those who raped and murdered our world!"

A howl of rage goes up from the billions-strong ghosts. Tosh grins as Gondegal nods.

"Brothers, I too linger beyond death's final sleep. Let me show you how to fight without a body, become warriors without flesh," he states, unsheathing his ghostly sword. "Listen to me, and I will give you the justice you crave!"

Another cheer goes up among the dead as Cheryl contacts you.

"Gondegal wants to show these ghosts... well, how to be best be ghosts. He can teach them how to fight, but he'll need me to relay his teachings to everyone at once," Cheryl says. "Otherwise it would take too long. Other than that, looks like you've got your army. Or horde, rather."

And now, we must do our part.

Have the Spirit of Triumph put a Hiigaran Battlecruiser with a Fire Control Tower and a Hiigaran Carrier into the queue.

Have the Spirit and the Hercules begin resourcing operations in Alpha Centauri. It's a little far, but it's far from the prying eyes that might extend to the Oort Cloud.

Besides, with their hyperspace jump drives, it'll only take them 10 minutes to come back to the rally point.
>>
>>21102318
>>21102339

Let's call them "The People of Earth".

This is their home. We are merely assisting them to reclaim it from the SUEs.
>>
>>21102406

Not the Legion of the Damned?

Damn
>>
Alright. Once their training gets done, let's send some of the military-trained ghosts to strategic spots among/around the places we know Chaosbringer is going to be in the next few days. They're to use the wall travel trick Gondegal's used whenever possible. IF they encounter ANY resistance they're to immediately fall back; AWAY from the main force of ghosts.

We need on-ground intel.

How's the other preparations going? Divert needed resources to getting everything ready to go, and once we have groundside intel we should be good to go.

When we do this, it's gotta be in one big push; I think.

Also, the Legion of Man for their name, methinks.
>>
>>21102456
OK, give me a flat out list of what you're doing and how long you're taking with it. IE, how long are you going to just stockpile resources and research and repair/fix things?
Confirmation on using Ghost Recon?
>>
>>21102570

If their CO is Tom Clancy.
>>
>>21102570
Ghost Force Recon has my vote for their name.

Okay, let's do a breakdown of time:
Science/Engineering:
Shephard's mods: 8 hours realtime/24hours ET
SUE-Cure: 1 day realtime/4 days ET

Engineering/Shipbuilding:
Resourcing, construct Battlecruiser and Carrier, SY-3 squadrons: 1 day 8 hours RT/5 days ET

Send in Ghost Force Recon to get intel on where the Chaosbringer is, and the layout of where he's staying.
>>
>>21102617
But wait, the ghosts probably need at least a day of Real-Time for Gondegal's training.
Perhaps we should find some other way to do scouting.
Such as using a droid with an exographic scanner hooked up to a tricorder, sneaking around the sewers of Tokyo.
>>
>>21102617

We may want Ghost Force Recon to see if they can get a daily schedule of what Chaosbringer does every day. And if he visits any lieutenants, goes around the world, etc.
>>
>>21102570
Can we get a reading on when the great crusade will reach the Chaos / Void Engineer battleground. because that might impose some time constraints on this op.
>>
>>21102617
For Engineering, the ship construction is pretty much automated.

So, taking out the 8 hours realtime for Shephard's Mods, they'd be spending the next 4 days in Elysium repairing the Storm, until the SUE-Cure is finished.
>>
>>21102646

That'll be just fodder for Su, though.

Perhaps we should deploy the RVF-25 in high orbit for more SIGINT and build up the Nod base. We want to at least make sure we can construct another MCV unit to make up for the one we lost. A functioning base of operations hidden by stealth tech would be useful.
>>
>>21102617
Also, see if we can find out anything more about the original flavoring of this universe. If this is DCU maybe we can raid batmans cave for goodies, or get in contact with the Spector
>>
>>21102691
I'll keep my fingers crossed that there may be a brother eye satelite.
>>
>>21102646
These science goodies. The ships I'd like but if it isn't gonna work then meh.

Don't forget the teleporting Mammoth Railgun setup.

My idea was that Gondegal can get a few of the soldier ghosts to go once they've gotten training. As long as it gets done, I have no problems with the timing. We just need intel.

So:

Shepard's Mods
Focus-research on SUE-Cure
Mammoth Teleporting Railgun Assemby
Ghost Training
Ghost Recon (after Training)
Preparing troops just in case

Those ships would be nice, so if they can safely do it go for it.
>>
We also know of the satellite network's coverage and we can probably track their movements.

Since we can plot their future orbits, we can send small bombs on collision courses to link up with them.

At a stroke, we can then eliminate their entire satellite coverage of the world, disrupting their communications and survelliance.
>>
>>21102684
We don't really need the RVF-25, though because the Indefatigable is already taking up those duties. Besides, the RVF-25's ECM bubble might be detected for what it is, and that would be problematic.

The Repair Scarab can also be a resource collector, so we could collect the resources that the Construction Yard requires to build a War Factory and another MCV.

>>21102691
>>21102703
This was originally a Sailor Moon Canon, according to the fanfic this is derived from.
>>
>>21102759

At a stroke, I mean when we detonate them.

Not blow them up and tip our hand now.
>>
>>21102754
The ships (Battlecruiser and Carrier) can be produced by the Spirit of Triumph easily enough, since the designs are already there and it's designed to make them quickly.

Also, it should be 6 hours RT for Shephard's Mods.
Since Data said the Mammoth Railgun Transporter Module Assembly would require a little research, I'm guessing 1 to 2 days, so 6 to 12 hours of RT.

In total, with everything running parallel, we'll probably be ready to go in 2 days Real-Time.
>>
>>21102754
So you're waiting for Gondegal to complete training before sending the ghosts out.

So for about a day and a half, you're just going to sit tight?

>>21102869

We wouldn't even need bombs. In low Earth orbit object are moving at 17,500 miles per hour. If we put in place a number of objects moving in the counter-orbits of these satellites so they would all impact at the same time, we could take out the satellite network with much smaller, and much less detectable, projectiles.

>for reference that is a fleck of paint that almost went through the window on the challenger shuttle. For perspective, that window is almost 3 & 1/2 in thick and made of bulletproof aluminasilicate.

We would only really need a projectile the size of a quarter to take out a satellite. Something that would be very difficult to track.

IS there anything else we can do in the 1.25 day we have before the SUE-Cure is completed and we can figure out our next steps?
The enemy is already on alert, we don't want to spook them further.

Just passive intel-gathering while we do our science, engineering, and training?

Are you saying to hack into their system and put in a backdoor?
Put up some debris in a counter-orbit that will take down the satellites in 3 days time?
Or make cloaked space mines that will maneuver into place and detonate on our command?
>>
>>21103030
Day 21

The enemy has salvaged the scraps you left them. There doesn't seem to be anything of note on the news except that they urge the populace to be vigilant, as an unidentified extraterrestrial craft was intercepted and crashed into an island. They are assured that the matter is being looked into by the Wind Army.

The Indefatigable does not notice any new holes or patching of old holes in the network. Are you using any other methods to keep eyes on the enemy?
>>
>>21103108

I think hacking would be easily countered by Su, we've had our nuts kicked in. Debris is hard to control as and when to blow up, so really 3.
>>
>>21103124
Yes. The AUH's upgraded sensor suite, and distant scrying by the Aurors (who are on the AUH and safely a light-week away from Earth).
Don't try to scry the Chaosbringer directly or his lieutenants; but rather on things like the middle management types, what troops they're ordering around, and if there's mention of the lieutenants moving around or doing anything.
>>
>>21103124
"Looked into.." HA! They've no idea.

Aurors need to be doing scrying. Sever the scrying immediately if anyone detects it; they shouldn't but knowing our luck? Yeah.

All transmissions should be monitored for important information. Also, since this is a Sailor Moon canon, we may have to neutralize Sailor Mars first. She's a Shinto priestess, and she's pretty good at fighting spiritual opponents. All ghosts are to stay AWAY from her; give her a wide berth whenever possible, and do not direct angry feelings towards her if you have to be close.

Everyone planetside is to stay low and quiet. Do NOT announce your presence in any way. Once everything's in place and ready to go, we'll assess the situation and choose the perfect time to strike.
>>
>>21103124

According to the article I read, the CIA used a logic bomb hidden in a piece of softwarethat was copied by the soviets to regulate pipes. essentially makes a program switch to a different mode after running several million cycles (changing its "logic"). The pipeline software's logic bomb was set to go off after 10 million cycles. The KGB thieves weren't stupid -- they checked the stuff they were stealing -- but since the software appeared to be working fine, they brought it back to a pipeline . The program worked fine for a few months but when it reached the ten million cycle it told the pumps to put ridiculous amounts of pressure on the system, causing it to burst with approximately 1/5 of the force of an atomic bomb

You get a general sense of their movements. A lot of training seems to be going on, the armies are accepting vast amounts of rapidly grown new recruits.

The Avatar contacts you midday.

"I have sensed a dark presence watching us," he states. "I have been able to strengthen the wards around our vessels so that the foe might not see inside or our doings, but we cannot shield ourselves enough that we can be overlooked. He knows something is still out there, and he has a vague idea of the size of our fleet."

Have the Abjurers, Avatar, and techno Wizards work on making sure we have the TSAB Dimensional Wards up in such a way as to cover our fleet. Also, shields/anti-teleportation wards should be up. The Psi-Shield is a good idea too.

I'm expecting shenanigans.

All hands, yellow alert. Go nowhere unarmed and ready for combat. Possible SUE activity soon.

Ask the Protoss with us if they have any special defenses or psi-tricks to help thwart people spying on them. We may need to apply them here.

"Hmm...but if we suddenly disappeared from where we were, then the target will know that we figured him out.
"Leaving behind a decoy fleet of empty Hiigaran ships while we move our task force elsewhere could be what we need to do."

Your teams arrive back from both locations, informing you that powerful wards shielded both locations from attempts to pass through their walls, and at the temple, they were almost set upon by a white furred woman in a yellow outfit that could see them easily, apparently one of these "Queens of Chaos."

Despite that, they managed to overhear that the Queens have been told to be on high alert, and that the ones powerful in magic are investigating a surge of powerful necromantic magic they detected two days ago. Apparently a small number of them have ghost-hunting powers. They also learn that the High Priestess and her Priestesses will be conducting a special ceremony the next day in the temple, some sort of scrying ritual. Chaosbringer is supposed to attend.
>>
>>21104450
I believe that we should strike them tomorrow.
Think of it! Right when they cast the scrying ritual, and they ask where our task force is located.
"Where are our enemies?"
"HERE."
Task Force comes out of hyperspace in high orbit.
And while they're distracted, we have our strike teams go in.

Also, from the IRC:

I think we need to send VP-98 and 99 into the Roman catacombs with exographic scanners hooked into them, and equipped with Incursion holo-emitters. We need to find out where exactly this ceremony is going to be held, and plan the strike.

Also, have the VP's run on radio silence, so that they can't be traced.
>>
>>21104583
We should also ward the VP's just in case. We can't be too careful.
Nondetection spells, Invisibility, and an activatable transporter beacon in case they need to be beamed out in an emergency.
>>
>>21104583
When are you deploying them? Now?

So you want to have them scout in radio silence, then report back only when finished?

RDRs work like any other gun, the only problem is how little of them you have.
>>
>>21104630
How much time until the end of Day 22?
I think we should deploy them now.

Yes, they will report back once finished. If they continuously transmitted, their transmissions could be intercepted. This is purely a recon mission, and the VP's are to be ordered to fall back for extraction if it appears their mission may be compromised.

Take the Reality Disruptor Rifles from the SCP Squad. And Cheryl, Regina, Lyla, and Elaine are actually the only ones who know how to use guns. Aeshma, Sonya, Agrias, Lavian, and Alicia will need to be trained on them.
And they will also need to practice with the Ebon Lance, the Voiceless Spear, and the Nameless Blade.

I'd rather not send our heroes out like that. I'd rather send out normal ones so we don't lose two heroes to them dissapearing like the observers did earlier.
>>
>>21104688
Alright. You have a point. We can send in some regular probe droids first. Make sure to back up them up, though.
And still use the precautionary measures outlined.

You give the orders. Agrias picks up use of the weapon fairly fast.

"Mustadio showed me how to use his gun once," she explains. "This is very similar."

The rest don't fare as well, especially Sonya, who gets frustrated very quickly and tosses the weapon to the side. "I don't need that toy!" she snarls. "Just give me a good blade!"

You send an Al'Kesh through the sensor hole with your two VPs. They deploy on the city outskirts and begin to make their way to the catacombs, silent and invisible.

Early next morning, both robots report back, ready for extraction. They have successfully mapped the undercity without detection. There is a large ceremonial hall in the temple that seems likely to be the place where the scrying ritual will take place.

Looks like we used VP-98 and 99 after all, and it turned out okay.

Good.
We'll have Sonya use a Beam Katana, then.
And give her and Regina an injection of RED-2 just in case.

Have Star-Lord and Darius examine the map of the catacombs and of the city; we need to find a way in that the strike team can use, and a place where we can hide the Mammoth Tank.

Also, while we still have the time, have the Mammoth Tank that will be equipped with the Transporter Module have Incursion Holo-Emitters installed on it.

Your tacticians get to work, quickly identifying several possibly breach points into the temple from the tunnels.

"This area here, empty room surrounded by statues? I've seen a few rooms like it before," Darius notes. "Secondary worship hall. Should be deserted at the time of the ceremony. See these tunnels here? Close enough we could force our way through if we wanted."

"Teleport into the unwarded tunnels, burst up in the hall and storm through to the ceremony," Star-Lord nods. "I like it. What about the tank?"

"Teleport it outside and have it come crashing it? It's quite large," Darius suggest. "Oh, for the sniping part. There are a few deserted hills on the outskirts. What's the range on the module?"

"Much better," Sonya smiles as you give her Agrias' old Orange-II.
>>
>>21104806
Oh, and I suppose we should lend them some hard-suits from our Armoury.
Lyla, Elaine, Agrias, Lavian, and Alicia all have Spellcaster Armor which is just as good as the hard-suits in terms of protection due to their magic.
Cheryl, Regina, Sonya, and Aeshma will need hard-suits.

Also, have Doc Lazarus prepare nanite anti-viral shots, to protect against the virus that the SUE uses.
(After forcing myself to read this, I hope this information is worth it).
We'll also need to make sure that they all have Bio-Stabilizer Masks to prevent Mind-Affecting effects.
>>
>>21104806
Any one else partial to the Idea of teleporting reality emitters into the walls and floor of the rituals room and turning them on when our ambush is launched?
>>
>>21104851
May help, but we can't depend on them. Remember that Reality Emitters are fallible.

Also, we'll need the Hercules to build up YVH droids, about 11 of them, to bring our numbers back up to full strength. We'll have them and a squad of Emergency Security Holograms and a Portable Holo-Emitter we still have to provide backup for the strike team.
>>

Day 22, midday.

You begin picking up a large amount of panicked transmissions from the Tokyo area. Intercepting a news report yields the following.

"...the captured airship Farenheit, which was currently docked and carrying several high profile passengers seems to have come under attack by an unknown assailant," one newswoman reports. "Scattered reports indicate the intruder may in fact be a MAN. We have only caught a few glimpses of him, he is apparently clad in blue, with a long red scarf hiding his face. Footage of slain soldiers indicates he seems to be armed with some sort of cutting weapon that burns through material. We'll keep you updated."
>>
>>21104887
Is that us? Did our ninja got out?
>>
>>21104903
"It's not me," Ryu says, pointing at his face. "I don't wear a scarf."

"Alright, looks like it's go-time.
"Everyone, lock and load. YVH droids, HK-50, and ESH's, you'll need to operate with external commlinks to prevent someone from hacking you."

Emergency Security Holograms:
Armed with Phaser Rifles, Photon Grenades, Plasma Grenades.

HK-50:
Armed with enchanted Blaster Rifle, Photon Grenades.

YVH Droids:
Photon Grenade bandoliers.

All equipped with standard equipment:

Is the Mammoth Railgun Transporter Module ready?

Cheryl: Reality Disruptor Rifle
Agrias: Girthang
Lavian: Nameless Blade
Alicia: Voiceless Spear
Aeshma: Ebon Lance, Hard-Suit
Regina: Reality Disruptor Rifle, Hard-Suit, RED-2
Sonya: ORANGE II, Hard-Suit, RED-2
Lyla: Reality Disruptor Rifle
Elaine: Reality Disruptor Rifle

While Cheryl is the more powerful psychic, Aeshma can wield the Ebon Lance better.
Lyla and Elaine have the RD Rifles more as defense than as actually attacking.

All members have Reality Emitter Mk. II's, Anti-Viral Booster Shot, and their regular equipment loadouts. That means spellcaster armor and RED-2 injections.

Emergency Security Holograms:
Armed with Phaser Rifles (with Frequency Remodulator), Photon Grenades, Plasma Grenades, Exographic Targeting Scanners, Tricorder

HK-50:
Armed with enchanted Blaster Rifle, Photon Grenades.

YVH Droids:
Photon Grenade bandoliers.

Agrias, Lavian, Alicia, Aeshma have Reality Disruptor Rifles as backups.

BLU Sniper in a cloaked Al'Kesh with his exographic scanner and micro-transporter module-equipped anti-tank rifle.

Mammoth Tank Mk. III
Equipped with Incursion Holo-Emitter, Mammoth Railgun Transporter Module.
>>
Al'Kesh 1 takes the Mammoth Tank to the abandoned hill area that Darius identified, and beams it down. The Mammoth Tank activates its holo-emitter and prepares to fire. Al'Kesh 1 is on standby in the air to beam up the tank and escape if our cover is blown and we can't just kill the opposition.

Al'Kesh 2 and 3 transport the Strike Team and the Support Platoon, respectively.
Support Platoon being HK-50, YVH Platoon, ESH Squad.
They are beamed down to the insertion point identified by our tacticians and make their way towards the main hall. Al'Kesh 2 and 3 will beam personal Reality Emitter Mk II's around the ritual hall so as to not trigger anti-teleport wards inside the hall itself, and the Emitters will activate on our signal.

Al'Kesh 4 will be on standby in the air, with BLU Sniper ready to take the shot when the opportunity presents itself.

Ghost Force Recon to prepare to come crashing down on Temple complex when the signal is given.

Pieces to be in place as the scrying ritual is going on.
>>

>>21105034
Wait, what if we use more of our troops to destroy the wards that are keeping the ghosts from attacking?

We could set up the MLRS trucks next to the Mammoth, and they could target some of the wards. Probe Droids with explosive charges and maybe some more YVH droids could be used to knock out some of the wards as well.

The Aurors and Farseers could scry and attempt to find the locations of the anchors for the wards, and we can take them out to make the ghost attack more effective.
>>
Should we attempt to aid the attacker?

They're sending Queens to fight a physical man.

They'll be flatfooted if we divert a portion of the ghost army to support him.

If its a crusade agent, we'll have a better time of establishing peaceful contact.
>>
>>21105431
We can send ghosts to help him, but he's in Tokyo while our target is in Rome. Our troops will be required in Rome to neutralize Chaosbringer's lieutenants.
Once Chaosbringer has be neutralized, we should try to capture and cure his lieutenants. They weren't SUE's to begin with, and they're not really responsible for their actions while under the control of a mind-altering virus.
>>
>>21105490

Or we can use it as a distraction.

Since they're fighting a man, they'll not send dedicated ghosts hunters to fight him since they'll be few and far in between.

Having some ghost join in the attack will give the impression that this man is the person responsible for the recent surge in necromancy and we might see the SUE forces dispatch their ghost hunters against him.

This'll buy us time when we attack the enemy base as their ghost hunters will be halfway around the world and will have to fly back after disengaging.

If we're lucky and they're speedsters, we'll maybe have a good number of rounds of combat with them unable to touch our ghost army.
>>
I think that perhaps, we should find a way to get both White Mage squads into position, so that we can hit Chaosbringer with 14 Holies.

Also, do we really need to keep men from taking part in this fight?
Vitun is a powerful cleric, so is the Avatar, and they bring a lot to the table in terms of fighting.

The virus isn't airborne, so we should perhaps use all available force.
>>
I've read the fucking thing, and I will say that I am going to ENJOY unleashing the shades of those killed by this SUE.

Anyway. I've found that a weakness of his is light magic. Holy will work just fine. Law-oriented spells might also help. Protection from shadow or negative energy may help.

I also recommend that we have the ESH squad set up pattern enhancers when they arrive, so that it will be easier to punch teleports in.
And that in the minutes leading up to this, we churn out as many Emergency Security Holograms as we can, and fucking flood the place. The more squads we have breaking the anchors that keep the Legions of the Damned from taking their revenge, the better.

So, having gotten a little sleep and come back at this.. I've got an ID on the ninja in Japan.

Strider Hiryu.

I think it's safe to say the Crusade's sent advance scouts. Unfortunately, our timing is not really good to try and link up support resources for him right now. It's best to let him do his thing as a further distraction. Perhaps they'll mistake him for being part of the fake fleet we set up and the "crashed alien vessel" stunt we pulled on that island.

At this point, all we can do is salute him and hope him the best.. Though we should keep an eye on Japan. If things get too hot there and he gets cornered, we may be able to briefly step in with the Inde or something and teleport him out of there. It'll probably earn us points with the Crusade (which we probably need to balance out the 'we jacked Guy's stuff' incident.).
>>
>>21106260
No. This is a pain that I will bear. The deaths of 3 billion on this world, and hundreds of millions on others, their deaths will be avenged when we take this SUE down.
And we're going to have a fucking mess down there. We may need to bring along the Staffs of Negation.
The railgun transporter module may not be enough, even with the reality emitters and the capital ship-grade reality emitters.

He's rolling with some major magic, and not even SUE stuff that'll get stopped by the reality fields. Regular stuff that they can't stop or reduce in power.

>>21106422
Sending ghosts in to help him may actually be a good idea. They'll mobilize magic users and ghost hunters to his location, reducing the defenses in Rome.

We have to do whatever we can to reduce the defenses in Rome prior to our assault.
>>
>>21106434
>>21106422

Ahh, strider.

We also have a few billion ghost. There has to be an academy of ninja ghosts in there, somewhere. Even diverting a thousand souls there would be a drop in the ocean that is our undead reserve.

Hmm... Spirits spirits spirits...

>protoss tech

Fuck. We have the raw plans for ghosts to take part in physical combat. If the ghosts can drive dragoons, we can use that control system and link it with heavily cutdown combat vehicles/robots. No need for expensive life support tech, huge potential for massed ground assault vehicles, space fighters and suicide craft without the suicide.
>>
>>21106641
Not feasible, because the crystals will still shatter and the control circuits become slagged when they vessels are destroyed.
An interesting idea, one already used in Slayers TRY, but not too useful to us.

The more I force myself to read this, the more I begin to understand the pure HATE that these spirits must feel.
This Canon might have started off as a Sailor Moon Canon, but they have a working Olympian Pantheon.
Those fuckers sat on their asses on Olympus as 3 billion lives were snuffed out, and the other 3 billion had their minds twisted.

As Kratos is not here, it's up to us to topple the gods from their place atop Olympus. Reach down into Tartarus with fully charged Heavy Ion Cannons as we ram a Hiigaran Battlecruiser down Hades' throat!

The gods of this Canon will BURN!
>>
...To be honest, I'm a little afraid we're going about this backwards.
Like if we send an all-female squad, then they can be corrupted into anthro futanari, unlike an all-male squad, which will just be killed.
>>
>>21107167

I was kind of thinking the same thing. The purpose of the female squad was to blend in with the environment and not rouse any suspicions; if we're going for an outright attack on the SUEs, they're not going to care if the attackers are guys or girls.
>>
>>21106847
Can you give me any links so I can share the madness?
Like anything on the Chaosbringer specifically?
>>
>>21107167
>>21107190
It doesn't matter. We would have sent the strike team with its composition as-is anyway, since they're some of the best operatives we have.

Also, as I pointed out, the known virus only has bodily fluids as a vector, there's nothing stopping us form sending in a second strike to attack the SUE when their attention is diverted to the first strike team and the support team.

I suppose we can ask Solus to devise a way to release the SUE-cure into the environment wherever we're fighting them, or ask our robotics crew if there's any way to supercharge the nanites in the SUE-cure. Or even have Isel super-charge the nanites. The Crusade reality emitter we swiped would be of great help as well.

Every little bit helps.
>>
>>21105014
Strider Hiryuu is here, huh. I wonder what the Shin-Ra is up to.
>>
>>21107231

It's kind of a moot point if we're sending in our ground troops like KI squads. We'll have males on the ground so we should just have our male heros join in.

I wonder if the SUE cure will work on those mind-bending, futanari spells? Perhaps those nanites could be used as a preventive medication? Inoculate our operatives so that when the spell gets directed at them, they can resist the effects, at least for a while.
>>
Assuming we use a Second Strike Team to catch the enemy in a surprise pincer attack, we'll need Finalon re-equipped with the Nameless Blade.

Second Strike Team:
Cpl. Shephard
- Reality Emitter Mk. II, kinetic barrier
Darius
Star-Lord
Finalon
Tosh
Spike
Douglas
Falco
Fox
James

The Wrecking Crew - destroy the wards keeping the ghosts out
MI A & B, X-COM NOVA, Mad Cats, Prawns A & B, all KI, TG Soldiers, Dystopian Troops, MetPharm High-Sec, Zombie Hunters, Baneblades, Tomahawks

Wrecking Crew to only be deployed if the anchors for the wards can be identified.

>>21107282
We can ask, but the SUE-Cure itself is not easy to create, and trying to weaponize it as an aerosal may take too long.

>>21107292
Actually, he's more likely a forward scout for the Great Crusade. We're out of time.

>>21107300
It's not a spell, it's a magical virus. Like the SUE-ified FEM.
Also, vector is bodily fluids.
As long as they stay buttoned up, and in the field of effect of a reality emitter, that shouldn't be a problem.

>>
>>21107849

>>
>>21107879
I was actually thinking about having the Aurors identify the anchors for the wards, and having the Wrecking Crew fire missiles, PPC bolts, and mini-nukes.
>>
>>21107902

That we should be able to leave to our mechs, I think.

How about detaching our heros without squads and maybe an additional squad to intercept reinforcements and buy time for team Amazon?
>>
>>21107927
No, I have a better idea.
2nd Strike Team is composed of all other combat heroes, except Slippy and Peppy.

The Wrecking Crew needs to take down the wards which are preventing the ghosts from being able to reinforce us.

If enemy reinforcements attempt to arrive, they'll be vulnerable to 2 things:
1. The 3 billion strong restless souls that have waited years for vengeance.
2. Our 'decoy fleet' that is full of self destruct charges, and have their own hyperdrives, and with the advanced navigational computers of our task force, can be used to warp in on an automated course.
Shall we see if a youma can survive a hyperdrive self-destruct?
>>
Where's that salute picture from Muv-Luv when we need it? I remember there's one where there's a salute with manly tears or something.
>>
So how long would it take to release the SUE cure into the atmosphere, ensuring complete
global
saturation?
>>
>>21108560
Reference to Mass Effect games and presence of Mordin Solus amusing.
But pointless.
Time required for proper weaponization and manufacture prohibitive. Potential leverage over Great Crusade diminishes every minute that Crusade scout continues to engage hostiles and SUE is alive.

SUE has powers of a Greek God. Likely allied to Gaia. There may be interference by other Olympians and Titans.
Problematic.
>>
>>21108647
Hopefully we'll be able to kill him before he fully comprehends what he's facing.
>>
It's hard not to sympathize with a Fireman approach to this world, for what it has done.
They're fucking Rogue Meta-Faction.
And the Olympians enabled it to happen.
We need to send the Looters to God of War, and ask Kratos to make Olympus run with the blood of the gods.
>>
>>21108733
Eh, most of the time, deities like the Olympians are unable to directly intervene.

>>
>>21105014
I support trying to assist Hiryu. If he's an advanced scout for the Crusade it'll look good to help him out. If he's not he may be a member of some sort of resistance here, and if not that he's another Ninja and we need more Ninjas to win the Ninja Arms Race against the Crusade.

If anything, I want to take G-Force, set up anti-hacking defenses on MechaGodzilla and initate a second Kyoto Shuffle. You guys can use it as a distraction or something.
>>
>>21108813
It seems like the source of much of the Chaosbringer's power, at least for the worldwide man-killing spell and corruption of females, was the corrupted Sailor Moon (who now calls herself "Nightmare Queen Ecstasy" so there's probably no saving her), specifically her Silver Crystal, which was corrupted into the "Obsidian Crystal".
As for "Queen Ecstasy", she raped her husband to death and gave her daughter to the Chaosbringer to be raped by Cyclopses, and seems to have forgotten her existence.
So... when sorting through ghosts, we should ask around for Mamoru Chiba, because I doubt you'll find a ghost with more hatred than him.
>>
>>21108864
Eh, I think most, if not all, of the opponents are human-sized, which MechaGodzilla is probably not good at fighting.
I'd save MechaGodzilla for New Chaos, since they probably have corrupted Evas.
>>
>>21108794
Oh no. They had plenty of opportunities to intervene. They'll have excuses, such as "we cannot interfere in the affairs of mortals" or "It is not our way".
Well, FUCK those excuses! As an Olympian God, Chaosbringer was their responsibility to police! And then he started opening up portals to other Canons, invading, breaking, and taking from them.
Well. Someone's finally gotten tired of their retard baby's shit, and it's time to end this.

They're only lucky that they didn't catch the attention of a Lovecraft Canon; we're only here to kill the freak and maybe them, not consume them as a Great Old One would do.

>>21108813
Original Canon (one we're in)
Sailor Moon, but with a Greek Pantheon. Zeus is here, so's Ares (of no help at all). Athena doesn't like him, but don't expect help from her. Hera supported his actions, Gaea actively assisted him, and don't expect any help from Nemesis.
As for Dionysius? The fat fuck was laughing his ass off as 3 billion people died.

Affected Canons:
Love Hina, FF X-2, Yu-Gi-Oh, Tenchi Muyo.
Still reading so there's probably more.
>>
>>21108900
MechaGodzilla does perfectly well fighting Human Sized Opponents. Haven't you ever seen a Godzilla movie? Besides, we just need him to surprise the queens long enough for Hiryu to get to him and then beam them both out.

I'd take ground dudes, but they're all being used.

>>21108886
This part might be informative, and terribly written
>As Ecstasy spoke with her advisor, Mercury walked over to Chaosbringer, fidgeting nervously as she looked up at him. The bald dark coated man looked down at her and said, “Speak.”

>“Um, master, I just wanted to know, how exactly did you make this gift you've given us?” Mercury asked.

>“A virus I cultivated in one of my laboratories.” Chaosbringer answered simply.

>The blue furred catgirls eyes lit up at the mention of a lab, “Really, you think we can discuss how it works later on?”

>“Perhaps, though you might learn more simply by studying her,” he said with a gesture to Nekonel, “She is after all, the virus itself, or I believe the term is, Patient Zero.”

>The purple furred catgirl nodded and continued snuggling with Sailor Mars. Saturn then walked over to them, her curiosity peaked as her new ears overheard the conversation, “Where is the where you made her?” she asked.

>Chaosbringer reached down and patted the dark haired foxgirl on the head. Saturn Closed her eyes happily and made a cooing sound at being touched by him, “Do you remember your fathers laboratory, it still remains under the remnants of that old school. I found the necessary materials I required there.”

That gives me hope that the SUE cure will be extra effective, since the corruption is explicitly viral in origin, although we might want to capture this "Nekonel" to increase the effectiveness of our vaccine.
>>
>>21108927
No, see, sending a couple thousand pissed vengeance-seeking ghosts is better.
It's still a Kyoto Shuffle con, AND it gets them to focus their anti-ghost forces on Tokyo, when our real ghost objective, is Rome.
>>
>>21108959
That'll have to wait for cleanup; something we might be able to leave to the Great Crusade without loss of leverage, according to the G-Man's analysis.

Right now, it's already mid-day of Day 22. We're pretty much out of time.

We might be able to get a few doses of SUE-Cure ready, but weaponizing it into an aerosol is unlikely to be easy, since it's a white magic-infused nanite suspension gel.

One of the biggest concerns of deploying MechaGodzilla is his control antenna being hacked. So if we call ourselves the Space Simians and tell them we have taken control of Godzilla, they'll prep to fight a giant organic radioactive lizard instead of a metal one. We'll need a few extra hacking defenses, of course, but it should give MechaGodzilla the edge sending him down.

Also, it'll be funny.
>>
>>21109165
We probably don't have the time to clone a bio-skin layer.
But we do have Incursion Holo-Emitters. They should work just as well. If they can be installed quickly enough, they might work.

The problem is the control antenna. That's my biggest concern.
>>
>>21109135
Unlikely to work though.
This Chaosbringer seems to be not nearly as informed as we are.
It's doubtful he would even understand the reference.
Plus we don't have time for such a ruse.
>>
>>21109206
He would not. But it is unlikely that he would be the one responding to this threat, since he's busy trying to scry our task force (and looking in the wrong direction).
Everyone else would get the Godzilla reference.
>>
>>21109206
We should have enough time to throw down MechaGodzilla. Even if he's abit late to the party. Perhaps send the ghosts down first and while they're distracted by the ghosts we do the fake announcement and then send down MechaGodzilla.

Mainly though, I just want to save Hiryu. He's a cool dude who needs our help.
>>
Huh, these SUES don't really seem very tough.
Casting Ultima would have been enough to kill Sailor Moon, and using Holy against Chaosbringer was enough to actually hurt him.

...Which makes me curious as to why a Quarentine Zone was necessary, if he can actually be wounded without even the use of a Reality Emitter.
>>
>>21109271
one man is not worth jeopardising an entire operation. Especially not someone not of our own.

Besides, our attack will give enough of a distraction for him to disengage.
>>
>>21109271
We can do that without using MechaGodzilla.
Like that is huge overkill.
>>
>>21109314
There's no information in the Transpace Guard databases about it?
>>
>>21109381
We didn't even know who this guy was until we looked it up.
So no.
>>
>>21109315
That's bullshit and you know it. Sometimes it's saving the life of one man that turns the tide. Besides, who's jeopardizing the entire operation. I'm using what's left over and forming an entire plan around that.

>>21109320
There's no kill like overkill.
>>
...

The apperence of Hiryu is a problem. Now that a direct attacker has approached there is always a possibility that chaosbringer can go "I'll deal with this attacker myself! Queen Ecstasy! Perform the ritual in my absence."
>>
>>21109401
Which is another reason we need to get Hiryu out of there as fast as possible.
>>
>>21109397
That...that is worrying. If he could be killed by a cabal of white mages...I suddenly have a bad feeling.
>>
>>21109401
That's a complication, but not one that is insurmountable.

What good is the scrying ritual, when we'll be bringing the fleet into orbit?

We have 7 teleporters that can move things up to a skyscraper anywhere in the world.

We can re-oriente ourselves in a matter of minutes.
And Tokyo has less wards protecting it from our Ghost Army than Rome. It would actually be better for us.
>>
...Can't we just beam Strider up?
Set up some relays to obscure the location?
>>
>>21109455
Yes, we could rescue him.
Yes, we could just beam him up.

But, we need him as a distraction, as a decoy.
The more distractions there are, the spread out the SUE's forces become, the better our chances.
>>
>>21109472
Which is why we're sending in the Ghosts and MechaGodzilla. Because then on insignificant distraction becomes a worthwhile distraction. The Ghosts can tell Hiryu to get to MechaGodzilla and allow us to keep tabs on him if he gets too injured.
>>
>>21109472
>>21109485
Operation: Look Over Here!
>>
>>21109510
And then, while the ghosts work better for us as a giant as swarm right now, we may be able to tap into their hate and anger from their deaths to form them into a Godzilla.
>>
>>21109535
And instead of fire breath, it has ectoplasmic breath.
>>
>>21109554
No, it still has Atomic Breath. It's just like the normal Godzilla, except formed from the angry souls of everyone who died in WW2. (Or in our case, everyone who died in that purge. Which since it's alot more people, may make a stronger Godzilla.)
>>
>>21109623
Let's keep that plan as a backup.
>>
>>21109623
Too bad we don't have any Biollante cells. We could have used Godzilla DNA, those and the Protoss Crystal Tech to create Space Godzilla.
>>
>>21109803
We have... ONE HOUR before the ritual starts.
>>
>>21110691
And? If a bunch of 12 year olds can capture Carmen Sandiego in 30 Minutes, we can do this.
>>
>>21110876
http://www.mobygames.com/game/where-in-north-dakota-is-carmen-sandiego

She's in Minot!
>>
>>21109485
But... what about people being able to hack MechaGodzilla?
And what if the Chaosbringer decides to engage MechaGodzilla himself?
I like MechaGodzilla as much as you, but this is not an appropriate time for him
>>
It seems like there's a secondary SUE named 'Tranquility' that actually exists within the Silver/Obsidian crystal.
It's with that crystal that the Chaosbringer is able to do his more ridiculous feats, and through Tranquility that Sailor Moon was so easily corrupted.
I would wager that exorcising Tranquility would deal a major blow, that is if our current course of action doesn't succeed.
...To be honest these guys are so weak that I wouldn't be surprised if the Quarantine Zone was for their protection.
Like someone wanted this Chaosbringer and his perversion to spread without interference, just to... see what would happen?
>>
>>21111342
It's why I want to try and disguise MechaGodzilla as Godzilla and claim we're Space Simians who have mind controlled Godzilla. While his disguise is being equipped, the hackers can increase the ICE in his antenna.
>>
>>21111407
...But Space Simians are the ones who created MechaGodzilla in the first place you dolt.
That's not a good ruse at all.
To be honest, I'm surprised that MechaGodzilla hasn't gained autonomy from having an S2 engine installed.
>>
>>21111457
Exactly. They'll think we're just the Space Simians attacking and Space Simians aren't enough of a threat for the big boss himself to take care of.
>>
>>21111457
>To be honest, I'm surprised that MechaGodzilla hasn't gained autonomy from having an S2 engine installed
You're not the only one. We've made a few attempts at seeing if he is, but nothing. So if he is, he's hiding it well.
>>
>>21111661
Maybe we'll see it at TF38 Poker Night.
All i know is we dont let the psychics play.

So yeah, hes getting close.
>>
>>21112043
So... one more 85 plus, and the world will know what the Terror of MechaGodzilla really means?
>>
>>21112083
I think it might be higher actually, but I don't remember the exact numbers MetaOP gave us, but still, look at those numbers. 2 threads, 4 crit successes and surviving something like a dozen crit fails. Hes fucking Mech-Godzilla, we rarely use him because hes just that good.
>>
>>21112083
Op mentioned it was 90+, but that may just be for the al'kesh.
>>
...This Chaosbringer appears to operate as a Satanic figure, spreading disease and war etc, but he claims that his role is necessary and fate is immutable.
But he also condemned Yuna to eternal torment for the crime of killing Sin before he had the chance to capture it for himself, and for making himself look stupid for traveling to that canon without even knowing Sin was dead.
So... he sucks, pretty much.
>>
>>21112339
We've got a lot of shit to fix, we're likely going to have to travel to the canons he's infected to deal with these Lt.s he left to watch them well. Personally i cant wait to return to Sonya's world and "FUUUUUCK YOOOOOU WHOOOOOORRREEE" her. The words alone will terrify her.
>>
>>21112393
Don't canons have kind of an... auto-repair function?
Like once the aggravating presence is removed, things kind of go to normal?
Of course this might be too extreme to come back from, much like the Orz pulling everybody.
>>
>>21112393
I wonder... do you think True Resurrection would work on Tidus, due to his rather... unique biological makeup?
>>
>>21112734
You mean the fact that he isn't real? Maybe, Phoenix Downs worked on him. But, if he's not technically "dead" wouldn't it be impossible to revive him?

I'd rather have Auron.
>>
>>21112789
I'm saying he was 'alive' and with Yuna, as the canon was currently post X-2, but the Chaosbringer killed him pretty thoroughly.
>>
>>21112734
Speaking of True Resurrection, we should bring commissioner Gaunt back.
>>
>>21112848
We tried.
Not happening.
The Orz pulled souls as well, somehow.
>>
OK, looks like it's time for a new thread.
