Something, something, something, TG Quest.

Last thread: http://suptg.thisisnotatrueending.com/archive/21142521/

Quest Inventory/Roster: http://pastebin.com/HGsJUZZb

Day 22

When last we left the Command Crew, they'd destroyed the physical form of the Arch SUE, defeated his corrupted Sailor Scouts, and met up with Sylph, a merchant with highly desirable goods. They'd also hatched a number of other schemes to implement, which it looks like we're finally getting to today. The question that remains which ONE are we going to do first?

Gentlemen?
>>
>>21212864
Here are the plans.
http://pastebin.com/5MTP6yvZ

Operation Mending Gear is a support operation. It doesn't require direct Command Crew intervention, so let's just say that it's working.

I'd say go with Operation Prayer first. If we can get Tsunami on our side, it will make Operation Prison Break much easier.
>>
>>21212864
Okay. Ask Sylph if she's got a selection of the Herbs from Resident Evil. I'd like to get some of each type so we can get a hydroponics system of rapidly growing them in Elysium up and going. Another layer of protection for our deathball! Hahaha!

But yeah.

>>21212940
Operation Prayer sounds good. Having Tsunami on our side WOULD be a big boon.

Oh! And we need to start making some SUE-Cure! A nice batch or two so we can initiate plans against the corruption in the Silver Crystal later.
>>
>>21212864

>Sylph

Ask if she has any schematics or plans for any technological devices or similar items. Even the ones that she can't recognize (especially the ones she can't recognize).
>>
>>21212985
Prayer would probably be best.

and my list from the last thread I added after it was over.

A katamari
any weapons from the Soul Calibur series
Bad Box Art Megaman's left shoe (to inconveience him)
Anything from the Xbox ninja Gaiden

Noble Phantasms from Fate/Extra or Fate/Unlimited
Biometals from Megaman ZX or ZXA
Infinite Ammo rocket launcher from Resident Evil
Any of the weapons from DMC
V-Watch from Viewtiful Joe
Bombos or Quake Medallion, Heart Pieces, Heart Containers or Hookshot from Link to the Past/Four Swords
Power Bracelet, Roc's cape, Tiger Scrolls, and Figurines (need to complete my collection)
Solar Gun from Boktai (also found in Megaman Exe)
Cyber Elfs from Megaman Zero

While you manage to clear out the bulk of the remaining satellites, swarms of drone fighters and space-interceptors warp in with no warning on top of your fleet. They launch salvos of missiles at your Gallente Fleet as it turns to engage. A vicious dogfight ensues as drone fights drone and Navy Comets and Enyos maneuver around the fast-moving interceptors. A blinding column of light rips up from the atmosphere and into the Hiigaran Battlecruiser, burning through armor and shielding and crippling the capital ship. The Protoss vessels fire their primary guns at the calculated source of the attack, an installation in the Himalayas. After a long pause, another beam smashes into a Protoss Carrier, this one only managing to drain the shielding. Bombardment continues until the beam attacks stop, though many of your ships take varying degrees of damage in the meantime.

The enemy's interception wing is eventually put down as well, though not without losses. All of your Catalyst destroyers have been destroyed, as well as two Navy Comets and an Enyo Assault Ship.
>>
Rolled 46

>>21213392
You begin scanning the area.
>>
>>21213558

Kind of a moot point now, but how did the drone fighters and interceptors look like?

Also, if we have any salvage corvettes, have them start on recovering or harvesting the remnants of our destroyed ships, and begin repairs on the Hiigaran Battlecruiser.
>>
>>21213617
Stylized, slime, futuristic craft with lots of bells and whistles.

>>21213616
You can't get an exact fix, but the Indefatigable manages to get the general area in Japan.
>>
>>21213641
Send down a Protoss Observer to the area, and attempt more detailed scans for Sasami.

This will also tell us if they have scanner arrays that can penetrate our cloaking fields.
>>
>>21213667

Do we want to rig up any countermeasures on the Observer to ensure that it can't be used against us if it's captured or hijacked? I can't remember if we sent the Ghost Army through Japan to wreck shit up. If we haven't, then we still have that one hacker chick to deal with.
>>
>>21213688
Ghost Force Recon was wrecking shit in Tokyo, being a diversion for Strider Hiryu. They should still be around, a couple hundred thousand of them, wrecking the local defense force's shit.

As for defense on the Observer, we can place a self-destruct package with 3 different dead-man switches (loss of link to task force, no appropriate response to a rotating encrypted key every 5 seconds, and if the Observer feels that it is being captured) as well as a remote detonator.
>>
>>21213688
Yes, set it up that if we lose contact, it self destructs.
>>
What do we need to do to purify the crystal?
>>
Didn't we salvage a large amount of black ops gear during our clash with them?

How about using those to trade with Sylphie.
>>
>>21213558
Have the Spirit of Triumph construct Support Frigates as needed to repair the Battlecruiser and other ships of the Task Force.

We can have Vitun Salvage a Catalyst destroyer later.
>>
>>21213994

We lost multiples. To be honest, we'd be better of upgrading the Dessie pilots to either Enyos or Erises, depending on whether or not they can fly dictors and whether bubbles work on non-EVE ships or not.
>>
Rolled 34

>>21213737
>>21213732
You send out another Observer to try and find Sasami.
>>
>>21214080
The Observer moves through the area, passing scene after scene of destruction and ruin as ravening ghosts sweep through the cities to do battle with what forces can actually be called upon to counter a mostly incorporeal threat. It does not however, manage to find Sasami after an hour of searching.
>>
>>21214078
Yes we lost multiple destroyers but we only need one intact for its design to be scammed and used by our Hiigaran shipyard.
>>
>>21214141
We're losing time.

Farseers, attempt to scry Sasami's location.
Provide images of Sasami from our databanks so they know who they're looking for. Also images of Tsunami in case that's who shows up on their scrying attempts.
>>
>>21214152

Why? We can just head to EVE and sell of fabricated Technetium for delicious BPOs. Why waste the time on salvaging when we can just get the blueprints?
>>

Because the Looters can be put to use acquiring other things we need, like materials and reagents from a Pathfinder world, HK-50 and agriculture droids for a hydroponics lab, and an Iconian Gateway.
>>
>>21214210
Al'Kesh 7, are you able to transporter lock on Sasami? Indefatigable, what about you?
>>
>>21212864
I want to ask Sylph if she has items from Demon Souls.
It's made by Namco Bandai, not Namco, but it might be worth asking.

The items I'm thinking of:

Stone of Ephemeral Eyes
Gives a ghost their body back.
We seem to have picked up a large amount of ghosts...

Ring of Sincere Prayer.
Increases Miracle power by 50%, but Miracles take 10% longer to cast.
If she has one, Virtun could use it.
>>
>>21214223

We'll need to replace and upgrade our other EVE ships, too. We'll need BPOs for them, a bunch of faction stuff for (hopefully) our new vindicators and logi ships, HACs, Assfrigs, etc.

You didn't think I'd waste a mission just for a piddly Destroyer BPO, did you?
>>
I'm thinking we should get as many corpses of mutated canon characters as possible, and try to revive and cure them.
Their homes might need them.
Plus, it sort of is our job.

As it is, I think our best bet is to get a T2 faction fleet up with our current cap pilots, and get a shitton of top-tier implants and boosters for them, and the rest of the fleet. I bet our wizards would like a +5 to intelligence from a Cybernetic Subprocessor (assuming it doesn't fuck with their casting)

That's basically what my Hot Dust Off does, man.
>>
>>21214872
No it doesn't. Your Hot Dust-Off doesn't cover losing a lock part-way through de-materialization. It doesn't cover maintaining the bio-integrity of a traveler when they're critically injured. It doesn't cover boosting power to the phase transition coil to compensate for a phase variance between the transporter and the target.

A Baneblade, a Navy Comet, and a Salvage Frigate will pay for everything. This price assumes 5 Arwings and 5 Landmasters.

Luckily the image of Tenchi along with some subtle psychic prodding from the Farseers seems to do the trick.

"You can hear us, can't you? I don't like using his words, but:

And all the effort in the world would have gone to waste until...well, let's just say your hour has come again. The right goddess in the wrong place can make all the difference in the world. So, wake up, Tsunami. Wake up and smell the ashes."

Farseers, you may need to delve into Sasami's mind to find Tsunami. Are you ready?
>>
>>21215534
"YOU are, Sasami. But a Juraian goddess is hidden within you. It's confusing, but we're talking to her mostly because she can help us save people. The reason you don't know anything is because Chaosbringer messed with your head and locked away her powers."

Too bad Tosh is groundside. We could have used him to help contact Tsunami. Oh well.

"This might be uncomfortable, even painful... But we may have to try and contact her more directly. She could help save a lot of people..."

>Creative Use of Teleportation Mechanics

After extensive consultation with Federation transporter engineers and technicians, these Al'kesh pilots have picked up a few tricks to use. Then the girl and the pillar are gone. The SCP soldier blinks and then just starts hauling the mirror back to storage.

Chasing her down has the chance of her luck targeting us as hostile rather than as just collateral damage.
Asking her nicely to come to, say, one of the empty hangar bays or the medbay is probably going to cause less destruction.
Probably the empty hangar bay, so there isn't stuff there she could wreck, unlike the med-bay. It's not like we can't do a full medical scan with portable equipment.

Ah, right, good point. Excellent point. Let's, uh, let's not excite her.

Oh, right, get some Japanese dramas up on a PADD that she can watch.

Immense enough that you fail to notice the footsteps until they're right beside you.

"Uuuuuh, I'm a law officer, I'm pretty sure I'm supposed to stop stuff like that?" Mihoshi blinks. "Oooooh... Hey, I've never seen one of these before, is this a display of your ship?"

Mihoshi nudges forward a bit and promptly trips over the legs of one of the Command Crew, falling into the control console and hitting a load of random buttons in her flailing attempts to get back up. Several alarms go off as an automated emergency override order to dump resource cargo and return to the fleet is sent to the "Spirit of Triumph". The Hiigaran Shipyard complies, dumping the resources it had stockpiled at the asteroid belt and powering up for a jump back to Earth orbit.

"Whoops! I didn't break anything did I?" Mihoshi asks with a nervous laugh.
>>
>>21217856

Techinically it IS, it's just that we're rescuing inmates unlawfully jailed by illegitimate authority.

Completely legal, and it IS a prison break.

But that's semantics.

Even emergency jumps need time for the drives to spool up. If we're lucky, they'll still be around.

And then switch all the controls to Dee Dee mode. (AKA lots of lights and beeps but it really does nothing) Lastly I slip out the back and set up the emergency command center in engineering.
>>
>>21217889
"Surprisingly enough, no, you didn't break anything. There's an annoyed Hiigaran captain out there complaining about all the cargo he was told to dump, but them's the breaks.
"So, Detective Kuramitsu, what we need your help doing is rescuing people. Technically, it's a prison break, but that's only because the prison is illegal. This is a case of kidnapping, and we need to free these people from their prison. Hence, prison break.
"Now, will you help us?"

And someone get those snacks! We need her occupied with food and mindless entertainment!
>>
>>21217956
"Oh, I guess that makes sense," Mihoshi says, leaning back against a keyboard before you can engage the orders to disable commands from it. Due to efforts to shut down the bridge controls, a malfunction occurs that results in several batteries of turbolasers firing randomly into the planet below. No friendly losses are reported, and it seems at least two hostile military bases were vaporized by the sudden barrage. The controls are locked down immediately after, as the Spirit of Triumph returns, your orders to cancel the warp not going through due to your orders to cut off commands from the bridge.

"So what do you need me to do?"
>>
>>21218090

Make sure we keep a lock on that commlink. If we can, get an interplexing beacon from one of the replicators and attach it to the commlink. We need to be able to track Mihoshi through subspace, and that beacon will do just the trick.

Have the Abjurers cast Seeming on MechaGodzilla. Between that and the few Holo-emitters we do have installed, he should be covered. He also can act exactly like Godzilla according to the movie, and nobody could tell until his cover was destroyed. He's to be beamed down disguised as Godzilla, hopefully the disguise makes them think he's organic and actually Godzilla, and thus they treat him as an organic creature. However, Hacking Unit, get on MechaGodzilla's control signal, IT IS NOT TO BE HACKED.

I'm going to take two other people and we're going to grab costumes from the replicators and dress up as the Simians. Once that's ready I want a signal relayed from the decoy fleet to everywhere we can on the Planet.

"Attention people of Earth. We are the Simians from Black Hole Three. Your resistance is impressive, however futile. Stand down now and we will be merciful, your forces have no chance against us. We have even subdued your planet's greatest monster, GODZILLA HIMSELF IS UNDER OUR CONTROL!"

At that point, MechaGodzilla is to be beamed down and begin his rampage, he should head for the sky castle and bring it down. Hopefully, with the sudden appearance of the King of the Monsters makes their forces split, or at least causes some panic. While MechaGodzilla is rampaging and heading toward the Sky Castle, he's to give cover to the Mikasa and the SY-3s from the ground as well, once they launch. Once his disguise is compromised, or nobody is buying it, he's to drop his disguise and fly to the Sky castle to join the assault there. Unless Mecha or Kaiju appear, in that situation MechaGodzilla is to keep his Godzilla disguise up unless it's been compromised and engage the Mecha/Kaiju.

"You have no chance against the King of the Monsters." Then abrubtly cut transmission there, and monitor newsfeeds and reports.

G-Force, prepare to launch.
Does it appear that the anti-air defenses around Tokyo are still operational? If so, we will need G-Force to initiate atmospheric entry away from Japan, and attack from the sea. MechaGodzilla can swim and come up in Tokyo Bay. The SY-3 squadron will need to come in low to avoid anti-air radar.

Abilities are:
"Hot Dust-off" This Al'Kesh crew is exceptionally skilled at performing extractions and insertions under fire, and to heavily contested LZs (Either literally, magically, etc)

But we're still undecided on the second, between:
"Rotate the Annular Confinement Frequency!": The crew of this Al'Kesh has become exceptionally skilled at getting the most out of their equipment, and can cut through jamming and transport inhibitor fields with ease as well as compensating for weak signals and interference during transport.

>Double Time
Having seen action in many canons against a variety of foes, these Al'kesh pilots can deploy and transport targets at a much faster rate than normal.

>Creative Use of Teleportation Mechanics
After extensive consultation with Federation transporter engineers and technicians, these Al'kesh pilots have picked up a few tricks to use. In addition, this Al'kesh can also try to inflict horrific injuries upon opponents by doing the same thing.

The Indefatigable's bombardment is off target and doesn't manage to hit anything but empty buildings as the Mikasa takes a nasty hit from some sort of disintegration beam that strips off a long portion of its armor. The SY-3s begin to fire back, launching missile salvos that rock the Palace exterior, blasting apart several of the turrets.

The ground explodes upward in three places around MechaGodzilla as three gigantic transport modules breach from underground. The outer shells peel away to reveal the three regrettably familiar forms of EVA units 00, 01, and 02.

Mechagodzilla is immediately set upon with progressive knives, his own AT-field cancelled out by the EVAs. The knives slice into MG's armor, but he manages to move enough to avoid any deep cuts.

If you're talking about the skill, the Annular Confinement Beam is an essential part of transport operations.
>>
>>21230627
Damn. I did not see that coming. Do we have any Evangelion-sized mechs that could do combat with them? Would their AT fields keep such mechs from being at all useful? Could Cheryl help? And who are piloting these things?

Augh, why does every SUE and their mother have to plug NERV into their little stories!
Is NERV really plugged into Chaosbringers stories of is this just a way to curve MG power?

Char, Crowe, thats your cue. IT's showtime.
>>
>>21230666
Main thing we can do is high-energy beams. It'll go straight through AT-fields.

>>21230676
NO! NO CHAR! His mech can't do shit to an AT field.

Godzilla is going to have to fight until we can disable the jamming.
>>

Mecha-Godzilla, use your flamethrowers to weaken the ground beneath them. If/When they start tripping up, grab them and go for the Entry Plugs in the base of the neck! Crush or smash that shit!

They're up in orbit, and don't have the weaponry to fight AT-Fields. Don't send them.

That was a brave man. I officially vote for that name.
>>21230676
Next time we can recruit, let's get Big-O and Roger.
>>
>>21230691

He can shoot the umblical cord.

And Mecha godzilla has an AT field, which the EVAs are actively using to cancel out.

Going by AdEva rules, their AT Deflection rules are down and they are vulnerable.

Even then, char and crowe have access to seishin. A good hot-blood/soul will go over the 2k dmg limit and blow through.

He's a decent choice dont get me wrong, but his megadeuce is a tad slow for what we need, on the same vein that he's a fine man on foot with charm and combat skills, but we've already got many of those. (And Steve Blums should never cross paths.)

Crowe, switch to Sniper Mode. Char, have your beam rifle ready. Target the umbilical cords for the three EVA's. If they do not have umbilical cords, however, target the Palace's defense turrets.

Mikasa, fire all missile batteries at the Floating Palace's defenses.

Escort Squadron, are you able to target the Palace's defense turrets with your missiles?
If you can, then fire.

Do we have any microwave cannons?

We just need to inflict enough heat that their pilots cannot withstand the pain. I don't recall AT-Fields being able to block microwaves or their ilk.

I don't know. If we put Spike and Roger on the same team, they would be like a couple of D&D bards with awesome-high diplomacy.

Those guys angry at us? Send Spike and Roger. They'll join up with us just to hear the voice.
>>
>>21230797

Best bet with AT-Fields is either another AT-field or positron beams. Positrons can't be blocked by an AT-Field, so they do the full damage they can. Otherwise, erode the AT-Field and attack with whatever. Hellbores might also work.
>>
>>21230825
That sounds amazing. I hope they don't question why they have the same voice. "Hey, I didn't say that!" "I did." "This punk stole my voice!" "Hey! Who're you calling a punk, asshole?!"

Ugh, now I remember how annoying it was in my AdEva game when we had to sacrifice AT to nullify the fields of Angels or enemy Evas.

Supposedly, Gundam style beam attacks are pretty much plasma so they go straight through AT fields. Seems Char would be rather effective here.

Launch Char. Have him be ready with the Gaia Gear's funnels for an All-Range Attack. His Newtype-ness and Senshins should be on full alert. If he gets too damaged pull him out.

MechaGodzilla should continue the fight, if it looks like he's at too much of a disadvantage while disguised, have him play MechaGodzilla's Theme and purge his disguise and use full compliment of weapons.

Crowe's shot is true, and EVA Unit 02's umbilical cord is severed by the shot.

The sky is darkened by the sheer amounts of missiles put out by the Mikasa and the SY-3 Squadron, but an energy field flickers around the palace to deflect the shots. A response barrage of disintegration beams focuses onto one of the SY-3s and slices through it, even the mighty superweapon unable to stand that level of firepower.

The Mikasa fires its Absolute Zero Cannon, freezing a section of the Palace just before it slams into the energy shield, suffering structural damage as the barrier refuses to give way before the massive drill of the Neo-Gotengo class battleship. The surviving SY-3s circle around for another bombing run.
>>

Mecha-Godzilla breathes on Unit 01, but the beam seems to do little as it slashes at MG with its knife. Mecha-Godzilla takes a deep hit to the torso as it barely manages to avoid a hit from 02, and takes a stab to the upper shoulder. It retaliates with a tail sweep that knocks Unit 02 off its feet and into a nearby building.
>>
>>21231079
Well, I'd call that a good-bad situation. Unit 02 will be out of power in five minutes, but we're down an SY-3 and the Mikasa is damaged. We need to take down that barrier. Has the Indefatigable been switched to manual targeting yet?
>>

Aaaaand I just realized that this likely means Units 00 and 01 have S2 Organs. Fan-fucking-tastic. Wait, though...If we could capture the Evas and their not corrupted...hello jackpot. Thoughts on how to take those Evas alive, so to speak?
>>
>>21231079
SY-3 Squadron take down those defenses.

MechaGodzilla, this farce has gone on long enough.
Show your enemies your true power. All weapons free. And remember that you still have your original shield as well, while they have nothing.

Crowe, we need that shield around the Palace brought down.

Char, launch your funnels and prepare for an attack against Unit 01.

Mikasa and Escort Squadron, fire on that shield and take out those disintegration turrets.

R-9A Arrowheads, prepare to deploy and provide long-range fire with your Wave Cannons on the Palace.
We need to find a place to set them up.
>>
>>21231165
Destroy the Entry plugs. Killing the pilots will do one of two things.

1. Shut down the Eva due to lack of controller.
2. Cause us to fight two Berserk Evas.

I like our odds.
>>
>>21231134

Wait till the enemy is at point blank close combat. Then fire the shock anchors.

Those eva pilots can't stand electric shocks.
>>
>>21231134
>>21231079
All Under Heaven, scan that energy shield around the Palace.
Find out where the power is coming from, and the shield's harmonic frequency.

Anti-Hacker Team, get ready. Once MechaGodzilla is revealed, the enemy will likely try to take control of his command signal. Watch for it, then fuck that bitch when she tries it.
>>
>>21231186
Dem some nice odds. Lets do it.
>>
>>21231186
Berserk Eva Unit 00 being piloted by a mutated, Red Lantern Rei? I don't like our odds against something like that. Hmm, since their AT fields are down, would it be possible to somehow insert a large amount of SUE-Cure into the entry plugs? If we could return the pilots to normal, they and their Evas could be recruited.
>>
>>21231282
Well, technically if we were to do that, it wouldn't be piloted anymore.

It'd just be a berserk Eva 00.

And we don't have a large amount of SUE cure. we just have our sample batch. Even beyond that, we'd have to get into the entry plugs first, and that'd be rather difficult.
>>
>>21231320
Ah, I forgot we'd only just developed it. Hmm...could we hack them, maybe? Shut them down? Or at least mess with their systems?
>>
>>21231178
The only attack that Crowe has which could penetrate the shield, is the VX Spigot. And everyone knows what happened last time we used the VX Spigot.

I'd rather have the All Under Heaven initiate an orbital ion bombardment against the Palace.
>>
>>21231359
But the ECM is still up. Without spot-on targeting, we could just as easily hit the Mikasa or Crowe or Mecha-Godzilla.

We have an Arbiter in the Escort Squadron.
Since the Mikasa has already made contact with the Floating Palace and the SY-3's are keeping its defense turrets busy, have the Arbiter fire a Stasis Field around EVA-00.
That will allow MechaGodzilla and Char to concentrate on EVA-01 while EVA-02 uses up its remaining battery.

Mecha Godzilla shimmers for a moment as its disguise fades. Then it emits its familiar hissing roar and unloads every weapon it has at the EVA unit cancelling its AT-Field, Unit 01.

"Sheesh, go here, go there, make up your mind. Heading back," Crowe reports as Char launches funnels.

"Go! Funnel!" he shouts, the twelve flying guns darting over to the fight.

The R-types prepare to launch as the SY-3s attempt another bombardment.

>>21231188

"Sorry, Crowe, but you know how it is when you've got skills that people need. You're just needed at the Palace and the Mikasa right now. You bring that shield down, and there's bonus in it for you."
>>
>>21231495
I second the Arbiter plan.
>>21231520
Indefatigable, begin careful bombardment of the palace's shields. Keep your shots away from our forces.
>>
>>21231603
No, wait.
The Indefatigable would be better suited to analyzing the ECM field and coming up with a counter-ECM.
We can use a modulated graviton sweep from the primary deflector dish to cut through the electromagnetic ECM and get a gravitonic reading from the energy shield. Using the changes in the graviton sweep caused by the energy shield we should be able to get its harmonic frequency. We can then attempt to modify a photon torpedo with a mass spectrometer to target based upon neutrino emissions, and use the shield's harmonic frequency to have the torpedo go straight through the energy shield and target the Palace's shield generator.

The SY-3s unleash barrage after barrage of missiles and high powered laser bursts at the shields, but only with the raw force of Crowe's VX-SPIGOT impacts the pulsing purple barrier does it pop like a soap bubble. The Mikasa collides with the side of the Palace and begins to tunnel as the SY-3s strafe the vulnerable weapons batteries.

"So about that bonus..." Crowe comments.

Eye-beams, missiles, disintegration rays, and more launch from Mecha-Godzilla to strike Unit 01 full on as Char's funnels circle and bombard him with particle beams. The mecha is forced to go on the defensive as its outer armor is blasted and melted off, revealing the organic being beneath.

The other two EVAs circle and lunge at Mecha Godzilla again, their Prog Knives scoring long slashes on the robot monster as sparks fly from the impact zones. However, it will take a lot more damage than that to stop Mecha Godzilla.

"Right. You get two weeks of Command Crew level pay. Fuck my paycheck, with the war as it is, I'm not going home for a while anyway, you can have those 2 weeks. I'll file the paperwork after this op is over."

Okay.
Have the Arbiter fire a Stasis Field at EVA-00, so that MechaGodzilla and Char can continue fighting with one less EVA to worry about for 40 seconds.

Crowe, help take out the rest of those defense turrets.
All other members of Escort Squadron, destroy those turrets and secure the air space.

AUH sensors and Indefatigable, do a broad spectrum energy scan, and scan the ECM field. Its energy density will be stronger the closer it is to its transmitter. Find the source of that ECM field.

MechaGodzilla and Char, finish off EVA-01.

Decoy Team, prepare to secure a beachhead once the Mikasa breaches the Palace.

So foiled, Mecha-Godzilla instead opts for a point blank eyebeam blast as Char pepper the EVA with funnel fire. The eyebeams take a moment to do so, but eventually they manage to bore through EVA-001's skull, dropping the mammoth being while MG suffers still more Prog Knife wounds.

Mecha-Godzilla lunges for Unit-002's Entry Plug, but is unable to get at it, the Plug being protected by the thick spine and torso of the biomachine. Char switches targets to 002 as well, and manages a few good hits, but the pair of EVAs manage to slash at MechaGodzilla with the progressive knives again. The molecular cuts from the weapons are beginning to take their toll on the great robot. It's almost there, it just took a while. It's not the fastest boat in the fleet and it was a fair distance away when you called it.

The Young manages to pierce the ECM long enough to transport the four Scarabs down to MechaGodzilla. They immediately begin repairing the machine, but only a few seconds after they begin doing so, EVA 002 switches targets and begins punting the Scarabs away with an oversized foot. While it destroys the support vehicles, 00 manages to drag its progressive knife across Mecha-Godzilla's chest, causing the machine's power levels to drop by 15%. However, Mecha-Godzilla manages to retaliate with a point blank chest ray attack that slices through 00's side.

The Gaia Gear is more than a match for the remaining fighter squadron in the area. With funnels and hand blasters, Char manages to shoot down the entire squadron in the span of a minute.
>>

Good! Even if they only repaired MG by a little, they did even more by distracting 02 so that MG could fight 00.

What's the ETA on the rest of those enemy squadrons?

Char, MechaGodzilla, destroy Unit-00.
Arbiter, Stasis Field Unit-02 once in range.

Crowe, how's progress on taking out the Palace defense turrets?

R-9A's, are you in position to provide long-range fire support with your wave cannons?

Indefatigable, any luck on finding the source of that ECM?

Okay, never mind about the fighters. Seems they're taken care of. God damnit, Asuka, stop breaking our nice things! Rodger Young, if possible, catch those scarabs with your transporter and beam them back in place. If 002 tries to attack them again, transport them to another location in range of Mecha Godzilla. Arbiter, get 002 under a stasis field as soon as you're in range. Char, proceed to join the battle with the EVA Units. Make sure to stay out of grabbing range.

We already got that Servbot-head thingy from her.
>>
I was considering possible additions to our DROOONES, and backchecked the archives, and I think there's some options we can look into (obviously this would be low priority in comparison to our other projects, but...):
1.Gray Mann's Robot Army. Because it's army of the TF2 team. Might need more sophisticated AI, though, considering they feel for one of the Soldier's decoys. And having them run on money might be expensive.
2. The robots from Monday Night Combat. They're ideal for swarming lowtech enemies. Again, simplistic AI.
3. The Claptrap army from Borderlands. They were all scrapped (so easy to salvage-who's going to miss them?), and easily modified.
4. Get Cossack to build the rest of his Robot Masters. They're his designs, so we shouldn't have to wait on cracking the WilyCorp database. Since RMs are designed to coordinate lesser robots in addition to being powerful combatants in their own right, it just makes sense, especially in light of all the lower-level robots we already posses (Sniper joes) in addition to the above units.
5. Loot Zero from the Maverick Hunter X canon. The 'main' Zero, as has been established, is not available to us. However this alternate Zero is up for grabs, being from a completed work, and should have the potential to reach the power level of his other self. Of course, this would necessitate a)repairing him (which Cossack should, in theory, be able to do, especially if we manage to crack open more of the WilyCorp database) and b)scour his system clean of the Maverick Virus (it's not been established if Zero was actually infected with the virus in that canon, but we should play it safe.). We could then use him as a combat asset and basis for more advanced drones.
>>
>>21236708
That's a hacking tool, not a fire control and ECCM AI.
