It's very likely that the enemy carries those. There should only be 3 doors here but if you wish to simply pass through the other side without warping , you simply do not need to specify a destination.

Hetros could have made the stairs, helped attack, and saved me some actions so I could attack as well, but he decided to jump into the zombifying water to chase shinys. I think they're student ghouls... look at the ghouls in that class room and compare. On that action phase you'll want to trap them FAST. Don't damage them. Everyone focus your hits onto the ghouls with pistols and obliterate them in one charge.

As I see it we have two options.

1) The south bunkers down while the north recovers the keys and meets us there via portals or running through that hole in the wall. Preferably sealing it after themselves. THEN we head to the top level of the tower.

2) We all head to the center hallway, grabbing keys on the way and kill everyone there. Then use the keys retrieved north to head to the top level of the tower.

Option one has a chance of getting bittanked while option two has to deal with the armored giant troll

Agreed. Of the two, I think the Bitank is the easiest to deal with. Spread out, place down runes, have the kobs dogpile the rune-damaged bittank, take it out in a single turn or so.

The current plan:

North team, grab the keys and pull back along the green route, overwatching behind you along the way. Drop traps and seal up the wall behind you after you are through.Keep pulling back until you reach the door outlined, at which time we'll use the key to go through.

South Team: We'll not be heading through that wall. Instead, we'll prepare for the rush from the west. I'll remove the mines at the base of the stairs and send Rufus that way, everyone who I choose to act down here will be ranged capable and able to overwatch either the west or the wall along the orange line (in case they decide to break through that wall and shoot down at us).

Also, You should probably use a big stone pillar to seal up that door behind us too. So that they can't use that gate to fuck with us from else where. Then seal up the big wall behind us.

Apparently keeping the river is important until the guys can arrive.

You -might- want to inform Crusher (since he can contact us I see no reason why our CO cannot do the same) that the western side of the river is tainted by a ghoul corpse (which is no longer in the water) the eastern side (the side we entered by) is fine.

If he needs us to purify the water we should endeavor to do so.

Okay.... Ideas for the game plan.

1) Place fire/earthquake/icebomb/timebomb/rustbomb runes under the place where the big thing is going to drop in on us.

2) Have ice ghouls (who I just realized are probably ghouled students, we cannot use them as fodder), grab the keys, and then spring back to our place. Hand off the keys if necessary, but sprint the suckers, they're all within range to grab keys.

3) If the professor can spare an action, to refreeze the mines. I can build bridges/ramped containers over them.

Our adept down in the river hasn't moved, nor is he likely to do so, so that's good. Only 3 active people won't act.
