Finally, after several days, I'm back and ready to game! The Caverns of Quasqueton, Castle of Gygar, and other strange locations await.

Bumpy bump.

So, is game officially your 7am or your 10pm?
There's been some confusion on the collab thread.
Also, welcome back! My day is going to be broken up throughout, so I'll do what I can.
>>
>>21579111
Uh, usually my 7am. I've had a busy week earlier though, and today it's more convenient for me to start at my midnight.
>>
>>21579118
Added this thread as "current thread" to the collab doc.

Let's take care of some housekeeping while we wait for others, yes? Figgy would like to see how our giant bee farm is coming along, (and to fill everyone's quart jar with honey).

>etalik hynny
Yes, captcha, the honey is the important part.
>>
>>21579149
With 2300gp of work done, the tunnels beneath are partially dug out, and you'll be able to smoke out at least some of the hive and gather honey.
Another 700gp finishes the tunnels and the last 1000gp goes to constructing a basic wooden building (for storage, guarding the tunnel entrance, and an alchemical lab)
>>
So who's this Vespin guy, the new halfling? Had he been playing in Spooky's threads or something?
>>
>>21579191
A henchman of echowinds, fluffed to be an alchemist?
I'm going to put honey in everyone's empty quart jars... apparently that's only Ruby's jar and mine, so 2 quarts from whatever hidden honey reservoir you may or may not be keeping track of.
>>
Reporting in, for what it is worth. May have to teach a class soon, so I'll be in and out.
>>
>>21579223
That's how thieves do it!
>>
>>21579223
That's cool. You should roll your level 2 hit points, by the way. 1d4+1
>>
>>21579207
>>21579223
Aw yeah, I fill my quart jar, and rue the day I forgot to feed some to my goblin bodyguard.

>>21579176
I would like to see what I dig up on Samael, if that's possible DM. If you've got no interest in going in that direction let me know, I wouldn't want to derail the thread or make it too complicated for you to run.
>>
Rolled 3 + 1

>>21579234
Rollan! GO MAX!!
>>
>>21579248
The thief now has almost as much HP as the dorf.
Welcome to the front lines!
>>
>>21579235
Well, it looks like his business is going along fairly well, and he seems to have fingers in a lot of pies, but you really can't learn much about him personally at all. He never appears anywhere, and nobody claims to have ever seen him. While there are probably folks who have problems with groups he controls, the only person who could be called his enemy is the Count Van Mistamere, ruler of these lands. He dislikes having a rival for power in his domain, but is wary of making any overt action against Samael

I don't have a huge amount planned for there, but if I'm ever struck with some urge for him to get up to anything, you'll be the first to know.
>>
2 level two players and a couple of retainers seems a reasonable group for dungeon delving, at least in Quasqueton.

Is this map reasonably accurate of the areas explored so far?
>>
>>21579259
ha! My AC is still woefully low. You can enjoy the frontlines with Yure or whatever my new henchgoblin;s name is. Are you goblinoid phobic like most dwarves?
>>
>>21579362
I am ready and able. :D

>>21579284
Thanks for the info.

I was thinking of approaching Samael with the golden monkey idol and offering it to him as a "I'd like to serve you / I will be a spy for you" sort of transaction.
>>
>>21579386
Pretty much, yes. As you can see there's a lot of spaces missing, and pretty much all the east area is gone
>>
>>21579392
Figgy made an agreement with the kobolds of Castle Gygar and in Quasquetan to slay all gobbos in those respective places. But he's not about to go and screw with your menagerie just because.

>Won't slay, but doesn't have to help.
>>
>>21579412
*unexplored I mean. It isn't gone
>>
>>21579423
oh good!

My vote is to explore the area neatly bordered up in the SW corner
>>
>>21579426
Seconded.
>>
>>21579426
Okay. Who's providing the light?
>>
>>21579445
I have dorf-vision. I'll have Haley pick up a lantern in town before we head out.

Also, doing some minor shopping for stoof.
>>
>>21579445
This guy and his goblinoid minio-- er. Helpers.

Can't be seen to be accruing an army of goblinoids, ehehe.. he he..

I was wrong. I kind of want a dog.

;_; Can I get a dog? A lovable stray, or a clever half-wolf? I'll take good care of him, and feed him, and love him, etc!

I will purchase a grappling hook and bottle of wine, and enough trail rations for several weeks. :D Also, manacles and a crowbar. Yare can carry those and the rations in her shiny new backpack.

21gp
>>
>>21579559
Go for it, not them down on your character sheet.

I'm assuming you mean a cute regular dog, not a trained guard dog
>>
>>21579499
Already recorded on the collab. Thanks for the reference!

Let's go east after Jenai is all bought up?
>>
>>21579577
Okay. You enter a 20' by 70' room, filled with long benches. Up at the north end, the floor is raised up about a foot, and on the wall behind it are four rotting banners, red, blue, green, and yellow.
>>
>>21579572
What's the difference? I didn't see stats for animals in the book, though I haven't gotten through even half of it yet. I'd love a trained dog, but I would rather start from "lovable half-wolf stray" and train it myself over time. That way he's more my friend and companion than a purchased item.

I have to teach a class in about - an hour. :\ But after that I'll be back.
>>
>>21579559
What's the dog called? Any preference as to breed?
>>
>>21579609
Jenai muses out loud as they enter the room.
"Hm. Throne or audience room, or possibly a Great Hall..?" He "holy symbol (crosses) himself
"Church?"

"Let's have a look behind those tapestries with the pole?"
>>
>>21579621
Mostly behaviour and morale, as far as I can tell. A guard dog will stay, bark at and attack enemies, and if ordered to will fight to the death. An ordinary dog will get bored and start chasing squirrels, let the nice man rummage through your belongings, and in a fight will probably bark to encourage you but won't go in, and if injured is likely to run away
>>
>>21579609
Anything discernable about the rotting banners? coats of arms? extra thick mold?

Is there a podium or a lectern on the raised platform?

About those benches: anything under 'em?
>>
>>21579652
The room's fairly empty as far as you can tell, likely the kobolds looted it already as they salvaged parts of the benches for firewood

There's no lectern on the platform, the banners don't seem especially mouldy, and there's nothing behind them. The middle two do have the faint outlines of the letters R and Z on them though.
>>
>>21579669
"Ain't much fer 'is room, lad. Must 'ave been a mootin' room fer Roghad an' Zelli. We ought take the opposite path down the west end, aye?"

His name.. is KILL.

No, his name is Vice Sergeant, but I call him puppy when I'm not angry or serious. When I am upset or in danger, I use his real name. (Vice Sergeant as in he is my assistant in Vice, while I am the Vice Captain, as in I whore and get drunk. RDJ can be Vice Lieutenant.)
>>
>>21579730
After 60 feet down the corridor it turns north for another 70 feet and then turns east for fifty feet. It goes south, seemingly being a spiral, and 20 feet down that south passage is a door to the west. At the end of that 60 foot passage south it turns west, presumably continuing to turn clockwise
>>
>>21579650
Fluffwise I want him to be my cute and adorable pet. But statswise, I want him to be well trained and loyal, guard dog style, and I'll pay for the difference. Someone to watch my back, and my allies' backs.
>>
>>21579798
Yep. He'll goof off and generally be a playful puppy but only when it doesn't matter

Nope, not for the past 30 years. Do you want to head up the north path, or go explore elsewhere?

I need to go to an appointment across town, so I'm going to be out for a few hours at least. This'll be it until then. :(

Okay. Leod, Krago, Echowinds, Chuck, and Vespin also come up to the caverns. Do you guys use lanterns or torches?
>>

I'm up for using torches because that's what I got.
>>
Fig'Tard's made a fairly accurate map up here
>>21579386

Also, down where they are, there's a third passage not explored
>>
>>21582018
I hath returned!
>>
>>21582115
Leod still has his lantern, but having a lit torch along for chucking flaming oil seems like a good idea.

Anyway, let's finish exploring the southwest section of the dungeon.
>>
>>21582151
Shall I accompany Leod and zombie Echo until Fig returns, then we can all link up for our room jaunt?

brb for a few minutes - my guts aren't agreeing with me.
>>
>>21582142
Okay. I'll run Fig'Tard and Haley.

You go seventy feet north up the path, coming to a vast room overgrown with all kinds of plants and fungi. To the west is a 50 foot by 20 foot area with what looks like a font at the west end. Ahead is a 30 foot wide area going further than you can see, with an overgrown fountain in the southeast corner. In the middle of the area you see a 10 foot by 20 foot pit, though like everything else is covered over with grotesquely engorged vines and roots

Don't suppose we can get stuff poked with 10-foot poles or sling-bullets chucked at stuff to see if it explodes into spores or starts moving?

Your AC prevents them from hitting you - it's why it takes a 19 on a D20 to hit you, but only a 13 to hit me. They hit, then damage happens - thus, you got hit when it rolled a 19, and took 4.

>>

Goblins do not care about cooking food, and the rats seem no more filthy than other wild animals

While there's no response from most things, as you advance you see a second pit, ten feet north of the first, and throwing a rock into that there's some motion and a rustling noise in response

When questioned as to why he is chopping the spider after its defeat: "After Dgure's death, I have an unreasoning fear of spiders."

Jenai chops off its spinnerets, and passes his wine flask around between everyone. shouldn't be enough to get anyone drunk, shared between all the people here.

He then gingerly fucks with the spider's fangs until he gets the venom sacks out, and dumps both of them into his now empty wine flask.

Nice. Off to finish exploring the southeast area then?
>>
>>21583173
>>21583183
"Sounds like a plan. Let's go!"
Jenai turns to Yrin.
"Stay next to me from now on unless I tell you otherwise, and INTERCEPT anything that tries to kill me. And you KILL IT FIRST. Got me?"
>>
>>21583219
>>21583183
Okay, which way do you go? To one of the two unexplored areas in the southeast? Through the door just west of Rogahn's room?
>>
>>21583245
Let's fill in that blank space/unexplored room just east of the entrance corridor first off.
>>
>>21583261
Okay. To get there you find you have to go around through the throne room and down a path south for 20 feet, which then turns west 60 feet, north 20 feet, then east 20 feet before coming to a door
>>
>>21583324
The door is coated in now rotting leather, and brass studs are nailed in it to spell the name ERIG
>>
>>21583324
Yay spirals! Krago looks it over for traps. Leod asks their more cunning sneaky types to check for hidden things also, and listen for sounds from behind the door.
>>
Rolled 41

>>21583324
Listening. It's a d100 I think?
>>
>>21583354
Yes. You don't hear anything, and there don't seem to be any traps on the door
>>
>>21582977

>>
>>21583110
I will chip in for this.
>>
Rolled 20

>>21583368
I glance over at Leod and shrug, and then I attempt to peek through the keyhole before entering the room while Moving Silently (rolling)

I guess this entails having Yrin turn the knob and pushing the door open as gently as possible.

If I see anything through the keyhole, I don't proceed.
>>
>>21583368
I open the door slowly with my 10ft pole.
>>
>>21583414
>mfw
>>
>>21583414
>>21583415
Nothing seen, it looks like a bedroom.

Opening the door you see a 30' by 20' room, with a 20 foot long area going west just south of the door, filled with pegs, racks, and brackets clearly for holding arms as two shields and a mace remain. In the southeast corner is a bed, with a table beside it. Atop the table is a stonework box. Along the south wall there is a chest with a keyhole. In the northeast corner is a barrel labelled SD, which you know means it contains ale, though likely flat and stale
>>
>>21583473
Krago circles the room using stonecunning to look for secrets, and inspects the stonework box. Leod tries to poke the chest open with the 10-foot pole to see if it's locked.
>>
>>21583473
I gesture to the bed, and mime being cautious of something hiding beneath it. I move just enough for others to get in past me.

I look around for traps and such hazards, eyeing the mace and shields for signs of recent use, or of obvious wear.
>>
>>21583509
It's locked

>>21583513
Nobody is hiding under the bed, and the mace doesn't seem to have been removed in decades. The stonework box looks to be opened just by lifting the lid off it
>>
>>21583545
Leod looks under the bed, the mattress, and the pillows.
>>
>>21583558
Checking under the mattress and pillows, you discover this is definitely a bed
>>
>>21583572
Hey, they found treasure that way before.

Can Fig’Tard wave that flask of magic water around the room?
>>
>>21583583
Yes. The room seems not to contain any magic items
>>
>>21583545

Jenai inspects the Coats of Arms on the shields, if they're visible. If the mace and shields are still serviceable, he'll take them and sell them. If not, he respectfully leaves them where they are.

Anything in the fireplace? If there is one?
>>
>>21583640
They seem to be in good enough condition. The devices you recognise as that of Rogahn.
There's no fireplace
>>

Rollan to find traps on that box.
>>
>>21583640
Echowinds is not near as respectful

"I dunna know where you grew up but a free shield is a good sheild."

I move to check the stone box for items, and then go poke at the chest
>>
>>21583667
No traps as far as you know
>>
>>21583671
Inside the box are 5gp and a hand mirror
>>
Leod has about finished up what he can do himself, and lets Jenai handle the locked chest as he stands watch for wandering monsters near the door.
>>
>>21583667
If you can roll 23 or less on d%, you can pick the chest's lock
>>
>>21583697
Iffin he cant Pick it and it becomes jammed, I'LL bash the lock with a handy mace.

I'll take the mirror and add the gp to the party pool.

"Of course I do all my best work when I'm not trying hard. Yrin! Crowbar." I gesture for my goblin to hand the crowbar to Krago
>>
>>21583822
Alright, if it's an option, what do I roll for Krago applying crowbar to chest?
>>
>>21583822
You manage to break the latch open, revealing the chest is filled with the rotted ruins of clothes. There's also a dagger, snapped in half, and a leather bag containing a rectangular object
>>
>>21583640
>>21583658
>>21583671

I totally snagged both shields and the mace to sell them, to clarify, unless there's a party member short a shield? if gurx can use one (spear is 1-handed? also javelins) I'll give one to Gurx, selling the others when we get back to town.
>>
>>21583865
Yeah, spears can be used one handed

Are you noting the stuff down on your sheets?
>>
>>21583876
I put 'em down in group loot. Now let's see what's in the bag.
>>
>>21583846
"I recommend we dump out everything, gently, and then try to get whatever's in that leather satchel out without touching it."
>>
>>21583888
Inside is a walnut plaque, with a silver plate on its face engraved with "To Erig, great and trusted fighter by my side and captain of the guard at Quasqueton. Against all foes we shall prevail! R."
>>
>>21583904
The dwarves estimate its value at 25gp
>>
>>21583846
whats in the leather DM man?

"Wots this then?"
>>
>>21583910
straight into party loot
>>
>>21584003
The plaque with an engrave silver plate. As I said, only worth about 25gp, but its sentimental value to Erig must be very great
>>
So onto the rooms just north of here, the door east of Rogahn's room, or somewhere else?
>>
>>21584014
"I'd say let's hang onto it, for later."
>>
>>21584029
Let's check out the blank spot immediately north, yeah.
>>
Going back to the throne room, there is a door on the west wall with a valkyrie carved on it, as well as another passage west. Down that passage is a door 10 feet away to the north and one 40 feet away to the south
>>
>>21584207
StoneCunning on the valkyrie then move on to check down the west passage door to the north
>>
>>21584256
All craftsdwarfship is of the highest quality, but it's an ordinary stone carving
>>
>>21584268
I nod in respect and continue down the passage.
>>
>>21584309
Passing by the valkyrie door, you enter the passageway. As I said before, there are two doors here, one on the north wall and one on the south wall
>>

>>
Rolled 4

>>21584324
>I'm trying to not be stupid i swear!
>>
>>21584373
You hear nothing on the opposite side. Opening the door the first thing you see is the dragon skincovering the north wall. To your left, a basilisk, seemingly petrified by its own reflection stares menacingly across the room. On the east, a dwarf skeleton is shackled to the wall. Nearby him are two gigantic moose heads, a pair of ram's horns, two crossed swords, and a giant sized black shield. On the floor is a bearskin rug, four stools made from severed dragon's feet, and a motionless (probably stuffed?) cocatrice. Around the north wall seem to be war trophies: a stone door carved with mystical and spiritual symbols, three silk banners from the north barbarian tribes, and a spear with a red pennant. Between them, under the dragon skin, is a fireplace.
>>
>>21584454
Leod gives a low whistle as he looks around. "Truly they were amazing adventurers. I can only wonder what events transpired to ensure they would not return."
>>
>On the east, a dwarf skeleton is shackled to the wall. Nearby him are two gigantic moose heads, a pair of ram's horns, two crossed swords, and a giant sized black shield.
>On the east, a dwarf skeleton is shackled to the wall.
>a dwarf skeleton is shackled
>dwarf skeleton

O_O wat.
>>
>>21584268
I follow along.

(sorry, in a work meeting)
>>
>>21584490
"Amazing, but perhaps not the most moral, considering." Leod notes dryly as he notices where Echo's gaze has focused.
>>
>>21584484
Staring at the dwarf skeleton

"be Glad that they dunna return, or tehy might find their skull bhein my goblet."

I move on to see about retrieving the dragon skin, as well as rolling up the bearskin rug.

"These'll fetch a nice price"
>>
>>21584490
Well, they do have a flayed human skin displayed in the lab, and several pots full of dwarf blood
>>
>>21584534
And this is why Leod isn't feeling bad like he otherwise would about looting the place.
>>
>>21584545
my sediments exactly.

What bothers me is how the heck did that blood stay non-congeeled?
>>
>>21584522
Maaaaaa-gic. Or the pot/bottle it was in was very well sealed.
>>
>>21584583
I think you can keep blood from clotting if you stir it long enough for the platelets to die or something
>>
>>21584599
>>21584614
good enough for me, just was afraid of a blood slime or something L_L

Okay so after shits rolled up, I put the rest of the furnature in a pile marked mentally "retrive later" and go examine the runic door.
>>
Anyway, apart from the bearskin and dragon skin, what do you want to do?

By the way, how many of you have [W]orn your [g]loves?
>>
>>21584642
The door is covered in all sorts of strange symbols, which you think come from the diabolist faiths of some barbarian tribes. In the center is the eight pointed star of chaos.
>>
>>21584669
as much as i'd like to metagame my dwarf is not in the habit of wearing gloves. Vespin would be the only part of my entourage that would wear gloves at this time (not sure if she's here or not)
>>
>>21584692
I've had Vespin being here for treasure and XP purposes.

It's more a joke really, just touching a cockatrice corpse doesnt paralyse you as far and you know.
>>
>>21584669
Leod is wearing platemail, so I think he's probably wearing gauntlets.

>>21584690
>In the center is the eight pointed star of chaos.
Wat.

>mental note to buy gloves next chance.

Hey, the alignment system is clearly Moorcock inspired, and apparently the star of chaos was in the first edition of Deities and Demigods before copyright disputes forced its removal.
>>
Glad to see I managed to catch up in time, and caught up. I imagine its a bit late to just join in?

Either way, I'd like to buy some items, should I just take care of it myself, so as to save you the hassle?
>>
>>21584756
Yes, but post here what you're buying
>>
>>21584454

Total - 19gp, 6sp

Both of my retainers are buying a longbow with quiver and arrows, 45gp each.
>>
>>21584534
How long has this place been abandoned, can we tell?
>>
>>21584820
"Wellin give me a hand Chuck" I move back to the previous trophy room and take up the big black shield with chuck and drag it into the hallway. "We'll use this ta prevent whuts in thar from gettin at us out hear." I exclaim as we position it in front of the door.

>>21584830

So Alvaro, are you catching up with them? Do you have your retainers with you?
>>
>>21584859
30 years, from what you've heard and seen
>>
>>21584863
Sure, and yeah, both are coming.

Also, what do the books tell me? The books about the warrior and the wizard? Any sunny enlightenment that the old almanac brought me?
>>
>>21584882
Not especially. The books clearly demonstrate that Zelligar and Rogahn were horrible violent chaotic murderhobos
>>
>>21584872
Hey, can I use a longbow? I realize now that there may not be a strength requirement on that thing.
>>
>>21584901
It doesn't have one, just that dwarves and halflings don't use them. I don't think thieves can use longbows though
>>
>>21584920
Ah no, you can use any kind
>>
>>21584897
Not very surprising. Darn murderhobos, thinking they can do what they want.
>>
So you've blocked off that one door. Is there anything else you find interesting in the trophy room, or do you want to go elsewhere and come back for the stuff later?
>>
>>21584925
I will purchase one as soon as I am able.

Jenai goes to back up the shield-bearing dorfbro.

>>
>>21585051
Sure. Chosen spell is Cure Light Wounds, the omnisalve(TM probably), and have my lantern lit.

Can we go back to sell the schtuff and split the loot? In this manner we can also purchase mein longbowen. Also it'll heal us/replenish magic honey.

If not, I say we poke around in the "strange buzzing" room that's currently blocked off.

You can if you want
>>
>>21585063
I want to open the door quickly and be ready to ram the shield in place.

Stonecunning on the big head.
>>
>>21586045
Time to move that giant shield to block this door off.

"Out, out, everybody out!"
I exclaim as i grab the sword and shove everybody out of the room.
>>
>>21586093
Statue worth 200gp

You don't detect anything odd about the stone head
>>
>>21586100
A small statue
>>
>>21586045
Jenai calmly walks just close enough to unstopper the vial of holy water and splash some of it across each item; Statue, Demon head, and altar's engraved star.

"Alvaro, care to say a few words?
>>
>>21586096
Nothing unusual happens due to you taking the statue
>>
"Certainly, we'll need to return, and destroy this unholy place." Leod notes to the others.
>>
>>21586115
I would like to kindly GTFO the room before this happens.
>>
>>21586115
...and gets shoved out mid-splash, spraying holy water across the room.

"HEY HEY HEYYYY!"
>>
>>21586093
Alvaro grumbled at Fig, staring at the alter with disdain. "Not even a little? Maybe a bit of cleansing? Some holy water?" He asks, handling a small hammer while sizing up the alter. "'Cause I bet I could smash that, given enough time..."
>>
>>21586115
There is no effect.

Apparently Rogahn and Zelligar didn't know anything about the actual gods of chaos, and just made a SATANIC room based off fantasy novels and metal albums
>>
>>21586143
>>21586132
using my dwarven quickness chuck and I shove that large black shield infront of the door.
>>
>>21586146
...What?

...Still want to return and bust it up sometime, either way.
>>
>>21586175
Okay, so through that door near Rogahn's room, through the unexplored passage near it, elsewhere in the dungeon, or back home?
>>
>>21586193
Door near Rogahn's room?
>>
>>21586132
>>21586115
"Thank you for the thought, although I think it would require more than holy water to cleanse such. Maybe a good hammer..."
>>21586172
"Although we probably best move on, it seems."
>>21586193
Door near Rogahn's room is good with me.
>>
>>21586205
Through that door is a passageway that heads northeast for 60 feet, then east 50 feet, north 30 feet, through a door, then west 40 feet and through another door into a vast chamber. It's an irregular shape (Fig'Tard help me out here), but it's around 50 feet by 140 feet at its largest. Within the room are 14 pools to be described soon, and echowinds notices a secret door just south of where you entered from
>>
>>21586193
Door next to Rogahn's (the zigzaggy room?)
>>
>>21586146
lol
I hope you rolled on some chart and I got miraculously lucky.
>>
>>21586243
Going vaguely from southwest to northeast,
Pool of strange pinkish liquid
Pool of clear fizzing liquid
Pool of murky grey viscious liquid
Pool of green slime
Pool of clear liquid
Pool of deep red liquid
Empty pool
Pool of clear boiling liquid
Pool of shimmering liquid
Pool of greenish liquid
Pool of koi carp
Pool of steaming white rock
Pool of water with gold coins beneath
Pool of a small puddle of water

>>21586252
Yes, and the room of pools
>>
>>21586283
Yyyyyeah, Leod doesn't want to try grabbing for the gold coins, and would prefer just finding stuff that's more obviously valuable than random crazy magic liquids.
>>
>>21586283
"So... Uh... Do we... Do we poke at the pools? 'Cause that didn't work out so well last time. What with the slime. Although the fire was fun..." Alvaro drifts off, lost in thought as he contemplated glorious fire.
>>
>>21586243
>.> I observe the ambiguous pools.
>>
>>21586311
"I'd prefer we just turned about and went to find glory and fortune in other parts of this complex, personally."
>>
>>21586311
"Whenen we get some vials we should gettin our way back here eh?"
>>
>>21586315
You see in the bottom of the fizzing one is a large key
>>
>>21586323
"Hu-wha-OH! Right. You sure you just want to leave the room unlooked at though? I wouldn't want to leave things behind us, lest they strike at our backs." He tries not to glance at the goblins in the party.
>>
>>21586283
"Shit. Let's take a few samples and get them identified? Fig, I bet your magic water jar would come in handy about now. The one with gold in it might be really dangerous, especially."
>>
I'm thinking about another half hour, so we should wrap up soon, You know where the room with the pools is now.

So, who got the magic spear?
>>
>>21586344
Pretty much all the room is magical. The pools of green slime, clear liquid, the empty pool, the koi carp and the steaming white rock are the only pools not radiating magic
>>
>>21586349
I actually need to leave in 10min so would it be fine with you if myself and my retainers will cart everything back and sell it besides the bear rug and the dragon skin
>>
>>21586381
Oh god, all that magic.
>>
>>21586334
"Ah. Who brought the rod and tackle? I bet we can fish that key out! That failing, I've got a grappling hook and Echo's got a 10-ft pole."
>>
>>21586394
"I'm not poken my pole intah strange golden pools"
>>
Okay. 82gp for everyone, 41gp for retainers.

Anyone know who's not here and needs me to do their money and XP?
>>
>>21586405
Wait, what's getting sold off and what's getting kept for now?
>>
>>21586405
How much of this do me and my retainers get? We were only around for the statue, after all.
>>
>>21586389
Also not the spear. I think Fig got that.
>>21586349
>>
>>21586418
25gp for you, 12 for them
>>
>>21586425
aye he grabbed it.
>>
>>21586416
Everything you found but the spear and skins

I took the spear and the dragon hide. Undecided whether to sell the hide or not. Keeping the spear.

Rough map here.

Totals before adjustment:
23 XP in combat, 82 XP in coins
>>
>>21586437
Right, and its an XP a gold piece, yes?
>>
>>21586468
thanks for the ride DM :D
>>
>>21586475
Yes
>>
>>21586503
So what's the value of the spear for xp's?
>>
>>21586538
In basic, magic items don't grant XP. You get a magic item and you want XP too? Greedy players.
>>
>>21586568
oh ,I thought that's why you were asking who got it.
after adjustment, my total xp is 110
>>
Also, even though you didn't sell them off, for the skins you looted, you get 333XP each, and 167XP for your retainers
>>
And Echowinds, roll 1d8+1 for your new hit points!
>>
Rolled 8 + 1

>>21586601
rolllannnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnn
>>
>>21586635

>>
>>21586641
